Who gets the Maddest Award between the two?

I was scared.

They have crossed all the limits.

They are like two kids, totally oblivious to world other than them. No parents, No mothers...just themselves and their egos.

That was no love that they showed to each other. That was competing for madness ...over who gets the Maddest Award between the two...love growing into obsession. One loves, other feels trapped. One can't have enough, other wants to show that "enough" by ending one's life in equal challenge. The love makes you happy, but the obsession drives you crazy and angry. You want to kill the other...whichever way it can be achieved...kindness or wounding hurt...

Again the song From Enigma "I'll love you...I'll kill you." will be a better one as episode review.

Lesson of the Day

Doubt will lose to Trust in Love.

And sadly as it expressed Madhu's frustration with him at his distrust, I did not get what RK felt about her words, except that he knew it all the time and yet he wants her to keep repeating those words like a parrot. Really was that the case?...I am not sure. Yesterday, I was feeling that Madhu was taunting him so much with her attitude...

You don't say it that you love me and yet I know that you love me.

You make me say it all the time and and yet cannot believe that I love you.

And RK reacted to her taunt by just trying to shut her taunting by giving her the challenge to jump down so that her refusal will allow him to win and her silent taunting will stop...and she reacted even more madly. BARABAR KA TAKKAR AUR THODA UPAR HI...

Answer of the Day - By Madhu to RK (I am on my way to getting destroyed - Executing Stage)

Har Dhadkan chali Fanaa Hone, har saans chali tabaah hone,

hameshaa ke liye, tumhaari banne, lo main chali tumse judaa hone

RK had said this earlier.... (I am ready to get destroyed - Planning Stage)

Katl kar do, aao mitao, tayyaar hoon main fanaa hone ke liye

Dhak sako toh khud ko Dhak Lo, kyonki yeh aag kaam aayegi mujhe jalaane ke liye

The way Madhu went to jump reminded me of Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, ending scene where the young girl tricks her lover into asking for what he would want the most and to fulfill the wish, she jumps into the river...because living anyways she would never have had happiness, so while deciding to die, she makes sure that he gets his happiness.

I never understood even then...and even now...if she was right or wrong...and I just let it go and say to myself. She was a passionate and wilful girl, before her time, would never have been happy living the caged life of her times, she was fierce independent spirit of the wild, never to be controlled by anyone and die she would rather in that knowledge of being loved and also being independent for eternity.

Review Part 2 - Sultan as the Plot Device

My hitch and grouse is that entire Jumping Drama, though culminating through Madhu challenging him, word on word, action on action, the CVs did manage to plant the PLOT DEVICE as a precursor for MORE challenge and Resulting JUMP. I would have been happy, if CVs had weaved this madness drama without that Plot device which should be the case for true Love Stories. The Plot device ensures that I keep in mind that there is a degree of small revenge also included in the jump. Even in the Jump, the CVs ensured that Sultan as the third angle stays.

What was the Plot device ?

RK said..."you colored him to save him...". If you remember my words from last time I was saying Madhu colors Sultan in such love...that anyone can be mistaken.

So RK...asks his usual question...removing his grudge part of her doing it so lovingly..."You colored him to save him, and risked your life for him to save him, will you also die for me in love?"

It was a rhetorical question and he wanted to have an upper edge over her and Sultan as well.

But it picques Madhu. I am not very sure what might have picqued her, but I think it was her latent anger about being reminded about her actions...her ego was again raised...Increasingly I am seeing that Madhu does not like him or anyone(ex Chawl) being critical of her actions with regards to Sultan...its like, "let it be...I know what I am doing." And what did RK do since the time he got pointed with gun by Sultan ? He showed MAdhu...that

he could have been killed had Sultan pulled the trigger
he could become Madhu's Aashique and third angle in their love story
Called Sultan Aashique Pistolia before her Mother...basically revealing to her...that otherwise you would send Sultan to kill me
Told Madhu that he knows Sultan is a Gangster and he does business in that pub everyday"
and now over terrace top, he again reminded her how she colored him with love.

Between two lovers itself...these talks are not pleasant and MAdhu being Madhu...she would never like RK showing her mistakes. In one grand swoop, she goes for the jump at that challenge of his about Sultan.

Its such a plot device...taking away the purity of two lovers obsession for each other without any interference and instead keep infusing 3rd party influence...they just keep on doing it to drag the story.

So I will still think...Madhu again covered up her acts with her supreme knowledge of RK...that he will either save her or will get himself killed along with her. So the scope of revenge still continues.

It was indeed a perfect setting for Deewangee... Truly remarkable episode to witness the sheer magic of Ishq and junoon!!!

LOL, I was actually remembering the Baazigar scene and yada, this guy actually talks of it...

I liked the way the entire scene was constructed... It started off with RK's penchant for drama, followed by his madness, leading to Madhu's defiance to outdo RK's madness, RK's shock, fear, vulnerability and ending with RK style declaration of his feelings...

I think the most important lesson RK would have learnt is to curb his madness when it comes to his Biwi... RK did you forget your own dialogue?..."Main pagal toh tum mujhse bhi badi pagal"...

Biwi is definitely a good student of RK...

I liked most of the dialogues between the two..

Madhu: Har dhadkan chahe fanaa jo jaye, har saans chahe tabah ho jaaye, hamesha ke liye tumhari hone, lo chali tumse juda hone...

RK: Har dhadkan tumhari meri hai, har saans pe haq hai mera

Zinda hai tu kisi aur shareer mein, bas itna sa haq hai tera

Creative are intentionally portraying RK as a devilish personallity and currently his only support system is Radhaji and Bittuji but in next few episodes they both to going to disbelieving mode...ie. not completely with him.

Why is this happening...off cource he himself caused it...His ego didn't let his heart to play his part.

Now...its his punishment time...its already started on the night of unwed drama.

He will be all alone. Nobody will be there for him...to understand him...to love him.

He will loose all his happiness..he will wanting care n love but nobody will be there for him.

He will loose his smile..he will loose his self-respect.

He will have sleepless nights...disturbing dreams..and no peace of mind.

He have invited all these himself.. he was well aware the pain of betrayal...pain of loosing trust n love...and that too three times but still he didn't consider it while destroying Madhu's love n trust.

Padmini...the mother of daughter...who seen her daughter in distressful state..her pain .. she knows Madhu is living dead person...and in that agony she cursed RK...with all of above...

How it will not take effect? After all its mother's pain...seeing her daughter hurt by the person she loves more than anything. Those curses are in effect now... and probably RK will have to live his life along with them...forever.

Now its up to creatives do something different to get him out of it..and then we can look something better further.

Episode 258 Discussion: 29th April 2013

Biwi-Pati Charade continues until Pati asks Biwi if its Prem Game-Part 2 .

Events of the Episode

RK keeps giving autograph to his fans and Madhu gets up from the table. In few minutes, RK and everyone gets to know that Madhu is dedicating a song to her Rishu, who just belongs to her and is not the Superstar RK of whom everyone is the Fan. Madhu takes him to the stage and they dance.
Sultan has come to the Pub/restaurant/bar/whatever in a red outfit, starkly different from the crowd. He is in the middle of a business deal with someone and RK is keenly looking at Sultan. He yearns for Sultan to look at him and Madhu who is appears to be dancing in all ecstacy. RK turns around Madhu to show her face to Sultan. Sultan sees all angry. Madhu makes a face tha shows as if she didn't like him seeing her. She makes a gesture of not to do anything to Sultan. Sultan sits down again. RK then turns around and shows his face, all angry. Sultan upset, gulps down alcohol and leaves the place.
Elsewhere in RK Mansion, Dips convinces Radhaji to go to Chawlplace to Padmini to make up for the bad that she must have felt when in the morning Madhu refused to go with her. Radhaji agrees and together with Sikky and Dips, they go to Chawl. Padmini and Trishna greet them inside. Radhaji starts again her apologizing to Padmini for the kind of son she has and Dips keeps looking for Padmini's cell phone. Sikky notices where it is and shows it to Dips.
In between the dance, RK reveals to Madhu that he had planned the entire evening as an answer to finish the pending business with Sultan. RK tells Madhu that he is not that bad at discerning people. He knows Sultan is a gangster and he comes everyday here at this time for business. Madhu looks upset for few seconds and yet recovers and does not say anything.
Dance ends. RK wants to leave. Madhu asks to him to wait until dinner. RK is surprised that Madhu did not get upset that he planned and he revealed about the reason. They have a conversation where it turns upon RK's fears. Madhu asks RK what is he afraid of and from whom. RK reveals that he is starting to get scared of her as it appears that she is playing Prem Game part-2. Madhu challenges him that he is one who pays, not her, to which RK responds that it appears that the hunted is actually hunting down the huntsman. MAdhu again has answer to him, why should he be afraid he has already lost himself in the game of love. He has lost himself and he has gained her heart. RK looks all perturbed at her quick answers. He seems all in disbelief and Madhu playfully suggests that he is already known to test people about how much they love him, so why not take the test. Increasingly RK is confused by all this. Episode ends.
Shoddy screenplay and editing of scenes and only saving grace was dialogues between RK and Madhu during their conversation.

Notables

So RK knows that Sultan is a Gangster and has been able to keep track of his activities. I guess, now that ends with this terrace drama episode, as then he might no longer need to keep track of Sultan.
Madhu called RK as Rishu in front of everyone. She gives her answer to his swagger of Superstar. She is not fan of the Superstar but fan of Rishu. Can I construe here that Madhu with that dedication, dance, declaration before everyone has publically shown something to the world, that when later spurned will cause Public Disrepute to RK ? I will have to wait.
Sultan started drinking Sharaab. Gentleman has started becoming RK by gulping down drink like RK where as RK is drinking water. :))
Madhu gives such "painful" looks to Sultan to not do anything. So what else do we want. Madhu is painting RK as villain in Sultan's eyes and RK is giving evil looks to Sultan. Both husband and wife together are conning Sultan and making him go mad and forget the reason why he was originally there in the bar for. Looks like Mala Sinha's Aankhen Movie. What a con movie it was back then in 60's :))

Prem-Game Part -2 Khulasa.

So guys this is how it looks.

RK is out there to catch Madhu. RK declares he planned.

Madhu remains elusive to the end.

Madhu does not mind the game. She says, Let's Play each other.

Lesson 1 of the Day from Madhu to RK

You love me even if you don't say it. You hide a lot because you are the Superstar, but there is someone who has been able to enter the inner side of RK the Superstar.

Madhu's line to RK

"Dil haar chuke ho.Badle mein mera Dil bhi jeet liya hai"

He is not denying it

He is scared not because he doubts whether he loves or not. He is scared that he does not know if Madhu loves him truly. So can he really trust her ? How can one know ? May be one knows only through losing oneself to love...the lesson of the day..

Lesson 2 of the Day from Madhu to RK

You Play games, not me.

Madhu's line to RK

"Tum Khiladi Main Anandi"

And RK does not deny it.

But he is scared that Madhu is becoming the Khiladi and he might be the Anaadi

Shikaar khud shikaari ka Shikaar karne aaya hai

Phir to pyaar ka khel khel rahi hoon main, pyaar ka naatak kar rahi hoon

So how does he cut through illusion ? May be by immersing himself with her game...lesson of the day...

Lesson 3 : Madhu suggesting RK to test her love. Will RK fall for that ? Seems he falls for it. Another lesson in the offing for tomorrow.

Rest of the episode - Dips drama - Filler.

Radhaji asking forgiveness to Padmini - Can anything be salvaged from this filler drama ? Can Padmini start seeing that RK is also son of another human being and not a demon to be be called a Rakshas and Jaanwar. At least can he be called a Homo Sapien ? I am just voicing against name-calling. Nothing much otherwise...

I don't know whether it was the videos I watched...but there was a disconnected feel in the screenplay. Should go for other videos.

My review Part -2

Madhu's objective was made clear today.

She targeted Superstar and his intelligence. And she is asking questions to the Rishu the kid-man-student in love so that he can self-analyse, how can he come out of his own insecurities. He has become the gamer because he wants to outsmart everyone. Why because he is scared that others are going to cheat him.

This is partly true as Dips said the same thing about RK to RK's face. She called him a Loser and that Fate will never let him win. And that's why he became this Superstar RK away from his original personality, started hiding his true feelings from the world and started himself being careful through his mental games.

All his games are for him to not lose.

And Madhu is showing to him...that he cannot always play game and expect to win and he cannot always think he can hide his feelings that others cannot see. She is showing to him that you are NOT that indomitable person that you project to be as. You are after all a Rishu and not a Superstar RK at the end of the day.

She is making him think hard and making him DECIDE, if he is prepared to LOSE HIMSELF, his SUPERSTAR STATUS for LOVE.

Review part - 3

Sultan was the reason, the date was planned by RK and became the vehicle for a proper discussion between Madhu and RK.

We know how he was useful in getting RK and Madhu back into RK mansion.

Make Madhu visit Sultan, let CCTv coverage happen

Make it a reason for RK to weed out Sultan from RM Equation and Strike a conversation with Wife to understand her true intentions.

Result : Madhu gets an opportunity to teach RK lessons.

Inference : Dramatist favours Madhu

My Question to Dramatist

Plot device was added by Madhu and used by RK. How originally your protagonist Madhu intended to teach RK a lesson if you had not given her Sultan as the tool ?
Can you show subtle hints here to audience that both protagonists are players and not like you bless one to win and you curse other to fail ? Can you stop being God and instead create a drama of equal opportunities so that we can see MB winning through only her wits ...or atleast show us that MB somewhat preempts RK's thought process everytime and uses to her advantage everytime regardless of time, place and context. This has to be made clear to audience that you are being fair to all characters in terms of letting them play with their intelligence.

The only thing original I found in today's drama is Madhu dedicating the song to RK and calling him Rishu before everyone. She chose to go public about the Superstar's personal stories unknown to the world. That at least goes to show my original premise of Madhu's Junoon.

Junoon -

Rishabh's junoon is to hide away under his mask or be a recluse in his cave. His junoon is also to conserve his Super Ego. Those who strike it, they are GONE! That's why MB has been the target. She questioned his thought-process, his way of living.

Madhu's junoon is to fight for others cares without any thought for her. She goes to insane limits. ...a day is going to come when she will decide to take care of Rishu, when she understands that Rishabh's way of living is not a living but a coping to live through'..her eternal fight with Rishabh.

Now my dumb question to myself ...is this for real that this is actually happening the way I made it out in September ? Confused

I really don't know what to think...And I am serious guys. Not joking.

The episode was quite suspenseful.. Prem-Game part II begins!!!!

Shikari shikar banne ja raha hai!!

Did anyone feel the dance was edited? I felt there were a few steps more in the segment... Is it coz we all were mocking Madhu's sanskaars... May be am giving us too much self-importance? Koi nahi... RK ka influence toy aana hi hai...

Dipali upto her usual old tricks... Sikky is becoming smarter by the day... Way to go!!!

Radha, the poor helpless mother... Why did I feel Trish was a lil moved by her words? May be I imagined it...

Padmini would have been thinking in her mind, " Ab band bajayegi aapke bete ka meri beti"

RK-Madhu: Madhu is playing it very smart... But RK does sense the change and asked her honestly... He just brought her there to show to Sultan that Madhu is his... I quite liked the inter-play of dialogues at the end between RK and Madhu...

Jab pyar junoon mein badalta hai toh , pyar denewale aur pyar lenewale donon ko darr hona chahiye...

Kahani kitni interesting hogi jab shikar khud shikari ka shikar karne par utar jaaye toh

Madhu's answers managed to bewilder him and confuse him... Am sure his mind would have thought ah! here comes another challenge...figure it out!!!!

Is he going to fall for the trap genuinely and get fooled or fall knowingly into the trap understanding her firm resolve? Dekhne ke liye watch MEIEJ!!!!

That so-called dance was the worst edited part of the episode today. Too much exposure of the dance and the rest of the epi (even the chawl scene) in promos and off-screen segments made the whole epi dull and predictable.

Madhu looked totally fake today - fake hair, over made-up, fake reactions (what was that coyness when he kissed her hand?). Maybe it would have been better if that dance segment was better edited with the conversations segued in more smoothly. What a letdown!

The only scene of note was when RK clasped Madhu and looked possessively over her shoulder at Sultan. I liked the intensity of the gazes - the "takkar".

I'm planning to watch the epi again just for the shikhaar/shikhaari dialogues. Your reviews have piqued my interest. I was so distracted by the bad editing that I didn't pay much attention to anything else! It's like reading an unedited story with horrible grammar and language - even though the story may be good and the concept outstanding, I just cannot read it!

The games have begun. Moves and countermoves.

RK is on to Madhu. Am glad that he knows that Sultan is a gangster, and has apparently gathered substantial intelligence on him. And set up this date with the express purpose of sending a message to Sultan.

The dance: not seductive. Just served as the backdrop for the game that was being played. Madhu asks RK what he is afraid of. He does not deny his fear, and says that when love is a junoon, both sides giver and taker need to be afraid. Hunter becomes the hunted.

Dips-Sikky-Radhaji show up at the chawl, with Radhaji asking for forgiveness and understanding from Padmini. The entire exercise was just a set-up scene to get the phone number. Gave Sikky the opportunity to throw some pointed one-liners Dip's way.

Finally, continuing my borderline obsessive fascination with Sultan's wardrobe, what's with the red clingy kurta with that remarkable neckline? On a woman, that show of decolletage would be positively indecent.

A shabbily put together episode, reminded me of a hindi kahawat - Kahin ki eent, kahin ka roda, Bhanumati ne kunba joda. A totally disjointed series of sequences.

I feel the overall quality of this show has nose-dived, it seems that everyone is just going through the motions of getting a task done. The actors look tired and disinterested, the direction is poor, the less I say about editing, the better it is and production value, we shouldn't even go there (case in point being the ulti chhatri restaurant).

I wish they hadn't shown this dance. The bar was set very high after the holi dance and for Pete's sake think of other ways to show romance and seduction, if you have to. If, what was shown today was seduction, then I will have to check the definition of seduction once again.

The only saving grace for me was the prem game part two convo between the shikari and his shikar. Madhu was so unconvincing in that entire tete a tete. He dialogues sound like well practiced and rehearsed. RK has caught on with her plan, if he falls for it now, it will be the biggest coup that CVs will pull.

RK also seems to equally at ease with Sultan's profession. It is almost like being a ganster is same as being a doctor or a lawyer. And he is keeping tabs on a gangster - Mumbai ka Sultan? What does that make RK - Sultan ka Shahenshah e Aalam? Who should be scared of who?

Oh the whole drama is so badly contrived!

I hope things will look brighter once DD is back from her vacation.

I didn't watch the SBB segments so I know nothing of what the dance was supposed to be like. I think it wasn't edited well, but given the time constraints one or two badly edited epi's are to be expected.

The back and forth between Madhu and RK is becoming more and more interesting- it's a game of "I know that you know" and "I know that you know that I know" etc, etc. As RK raises the stakes, Madhu has to raise them even more to get ahead of the game. And here is the thing: RK makes plans, but Madhu? I think Madhu is great at improvisation. She doesn't have the eye he has for people (if she did, she'd realize that Sultan is falling head over heels), but she's good at taking situations and turning them at their heads for her advantage. And she's fearless. RK and Madhu's back and forth, the tension, the banter, the mind games- it forces Madhu to go beyond her comfort zone and when she does? You can see that she is match for him in every way. Madhu would be wasted on Sultan.

You know the funny thing? She's going to jump tomorrow. Despite everything he has done, shetrusts RK enough to know that if he didn't catch her, he'd jump after her.

Ek Ishq, Ek Junoon, indeed.

Edit: Also, clearly RK's plan is to make Sultan a alcoholic, then push him of a cliff. Wink

True and that is the reason why he tries playing God...

Just a ques... Let's assume that Madhu wins the prem-game, RK learns that he cannot play God, lose himself in love, develop a heart,etc,etc, whatever madhu's goals are...

In the end, IF she is going to ditch him and leave him, then doesn't it consolidate all his prior beliefs about people, games,etc,etc?

Nope.

Why ? Because he was the reason she played the game on him.

He will have to learn to bow down to destiny. That if he has to lose he will lose. If he is bound to win, he will win no matter what happens.

If he had to lose his father or mother, it is not a reason to turn himself bitter about it. Who was hurt most by it. Himself. He should care about himself and his heart first.

Go to Enigma song - Return to Innocence . I pasted them in previous EDT. The lyrics tell you what he should learn actually.

And before that I pasted the lyrics of another Enigma song...I'll love ...I'll kill you. That is game of obsession. He played it. And now she is playing it too. Time to learn and cut losses for both of them.

There was this quote by Bhoomi.S. She used it in one of her posts in the Meta topic. I think you'll remember her from earlier EDT posts...and see how beautiful it and how it fits on all people. Why we change and why it is important to change.

Isn't her timing all wrong? This is a step she should take when RK is sure of her love for him. Right now he is very very suspicious. And she is challenging his intelligence! Doesn't she know that he takes to challenges like a fish to water? She has actually put him even more on guard.

Rishu will listen to her when he is convinced that she is *his* Madhu. Right now is he is suspicious that she may just be Sultan's Madhu playing a prem-game part 2 with him. She is telling him that he is scared of his own feelings for her whereas his real fear is that she has fallen for Sultan on the rebound.

I don't see his suspicions going away completely even after the stunt she is going to pull off tomorrow. But he will play along. He is a much better actor than Madhu.

How long one wants to be a disbeliever is what it all takes to become a believer from being doubtful. Its always a state of mind present in us...whether we want to believe it or not.

I again will have to quote my friend Bhoomi.S ...who once put the thoughts against organized religion how it is bad and what needs to happen. It becomes relevant here...because of certain aspects of making oneself adhere to another's wishes.

In fact, Madhu and the viewers all know that RK considers Madhu his equal, his match... She knows it is only she who can stand upto him and actually win against him as well... So why give those pathetic abla naari looks to Sultan that give him the false impression that she needs to be saved from RK..

I agree with you and I have the answer. Madhu always trusts outside world far more than RK.

Even when Dipali was barging into her bedroom, Madhu did not stop her from coming in. How ugly and distasteful scene that was.

Till date, do we have any answer why Madhu tolerated and never gave stern looks to Dips ? Because if she gave those looks, she would have been in RK's camp. Madhu has to be always antagonist to RK.

So even now, Madhu has to be anti to RK and create a problem in the form of Sultan to RK.

Will we have an answer, how this is digestible...Nope, Because Sultan is another catalyst like Dips.

Radhaji blessed Rishbala and Dips created Rishbala

Now Dips does not have a value, so she is seeking Sultan's help. For Dips to do that, MAdhu had to make sure she became friend to Sultan,

Once Sultan becomes the irritating 3rd party that , Rishbala will again kickstart.

Dips is obsessed with RK and MAdhu.

Now Sultan is also getting obsessed with Madhu and RK.

Now Sultan cannot just think of Madhu as Madhu. Today they established that now if Sultan remembers Madhu, he has that anger like Dips that RK is with Madhu.

So you see now...today's advantage to Rishbala is that Sultan was forced to accept through Aryan that MADHU IS NOT FREE as he thinks. THERE IS THAT RK which he has to deal and he cannot shoot RK because Madhu already asked him NOT to interfere and interfere he will for sure like DIps.

Diference is that Dips could run into their bedroom as she was in the same house, they cannot bring Sultan under same house :))) So they might create drama...where Madhu will be seen in RK Mansion or Sultan Mansion.

Do you now see the masala ? Full Potboiler drama!

Chances are also that Madhu might be using Sultan like RK used Dips ...like her test of love idea. Sultan's unwanted interference can be used by Madhu against RK, and most of the time Sultan will end up getting RK and Madhu closer as RK's love will grow deeper. Lose RK will...but remember her needs to develop heart...so all those loss will be for RK's Ego and gain for RKs heart.

We will know this more clearly in Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday episodes.

I remember your post where you said you consider the changes in Madhu as a progression in her character and I second that...I also agree with Shri,on the cv's need to make Sultan Madhu's friend...so,he could harbor feelings for her,there by create drama and at the end bring Rishabala more and more closer...To achieve this ,to an extent they are making Madhu give the wrong impression but,if Sulatan is willing to see, there are many clues and hints for him to understand that this is not a one way equation all the way...Leaving aside R.K's car convo which clearly showed that R.K is not just a cruel husband with no love for his wife but,is in fact totally in love and missing her...,

1.He was a witness to Rishbala's holi dance from start to end...though R.K comes across a little dominant,it was pretty clear that Madhu was giving in,not able to go away and was totally drawn to R.K

2.Madhu quite clearly said he doesn't have any right to come in between their family...she

said 'hamara parivaar' meaning she considers R.K her family and its a matter btw them...

3.The reason she gave for the tears was she lied to R.K,her mother and to herself...so,she was sad that she lied to R.K too, along with her mom...doesn't it show that R.K is as important to her as her mother...shouldn't he consider the possibiliity of Madhu loving R.K too

4.and finally she clearly said what ever the problem is she cannot share it with him...made it clear to him to stay away...doesn't want him to be privy to her and her hubby's matters...

After today,its clear to me that his own wish to have Madhu for himself is what is making him turn a blind eye and see the things the way he wants to see...R.K was right...Sultan/villain has become insecure...Hope Monday's Madhu's hot dance with her hot hubby would knock some sense in to him that he shouldn't come btw miya biwi's jagda's...

Thank you for those bullet points. We needed this listed. Why ? Because officially. Sultan will crossover to obsession area in coming week. So far he had been acting all gentlemanly.

Add to that list...

Sultan at first when he met Madhu acknowledged that RK was Madhu's husband and a powerful man. And next time when he kidnapped her, asked Madhu to comply else her husband will be in trouble, which was a threat given to her at Chawlgate to.

So CVs intelligently have graphed his transition in a swift manner within two months from a gangster to good father to good widower to reformed man to turning lover to protector to interfering friend and now obsessed lover-whatever.

RK named him at first as Neeli Aankho wala, Sadakchaap and now Aashique Pistolia.

When Sultan kidnapped Madhu at gunpoint, she was all fine to be kidnapped. Such was the zeal of CVs to have Sultan established in Madhu's inner circle. Commendable turnaround by CVs to degrade Sultan into obsessed lover from catapulted Dolphin Entry LOL

If I ignore the impropriety of using a kid by CVs...I see that CVs ridiculed Sultan's eagerness in such a hitting manner by having him listen to his kid and that too who knows that Madhu stays with RK...which Sultan keeps forgetting in actions or memories unless Madhu reminds him. Bad part was when MAdhu did not want him to be dropping her at RK mansion...and yet he forgets his own proposition and help of parking his car far away...as he follows her to the gate.

Going by name calling trend of this show, Sultan needs to give a name to RK...because good girl like Madhu also gave name such as GutterQueen to Dips. LOL

Glad that you see this. I said the same thing. See how he messed up on Thursday/friday for Madhu. RK is already in suspectful mode...and what's happening is that like Madhu thinks of RK to be taught lessons, RK is infact learning lessons by himself. I don't think this is what Madhu planned for.

Now this really does not bode well for Madhu. Things may turn out to be at her advantage or disadvantage if Sultan keeps interfering her business.

Ex: Like today. Madhu wanted to meet him, maintain the anonymous relationship (like she says to RK, koi rishta nahin hai mera uske saath) and walk back to RK mansion as unnoticed as she was when left the premises. But Sultan followed her and made sure, she gave him lovey dovey looks and that (soft) hand that he held for quite sometime. But poor Madhu, to her disadvantage the CCTv camera caught it. Saari Mehnat Bekaar gayee because of Sultan's unwanted interference. Now she has do that much extra "patana" of RK that she is all his and no one else's.

In the same token, if he thinks, she can never lie to him and she tells him that she can never mention the truth to him, this too can be matter of advantage and disadvantage to her. For ex: an imaginary situation where RK "pit bhi sakta hai Sultan se" if Sultan sees Madhu expressive face that does not lie and may show pain and when she refuses to tell him the truth what she really means by that kind of painful face. Advantage, you see. But somedays, it may turn unpleasant also.

The "good girl" Madhu will go to the "good family" of Aryan, Sultan and dear old Kaka before long.

Today, I felt a twinge of sympathy for RK. Right now, no one is on his side, not completely, not even Bittuji. In fact, maybe even RK is not on his own side. It is completely set up for him to fall.

The episode kept me engaged, despite the numerous promos and off-screen moments we've been "treated" to. I must say, that restaurant looked el-cheapo. What would it have taken to do this in a real restaurant I wonder...?

Seriously, I am really thinking...how can you use kids? Agree that kid is gangsters kid and motherless...but then over TV medium. Do you think we should go to that broadcasting content complaint-box for these kind of things. I am sure there are no rules...but heard that Shabana Azmi heads it. Isn't she okay person to review these thing? I am upset at rampant increase of branding people with labels in the show...to the extent that they are using even kids.

And re RK getting our sympathy when a kid who is not even 5 yrs old I guess is mouthing him as Ganda (btw the kid has not seen RK, just heard his voice) and a 30 year old man's takes it as WISDOM, then CVs have indirectly shifted audience to RK's camp.

And see what I said on Thursday episode and that is what started happening since yesterday.

Let me count how many ways he has lost with Madhu since revenge track and Sultan Entry Track

Madhu wins the 3 day bet and continued to work at the Studio. Madhu gets back on her feet.
Sultan has bit by bit made RK feel himself like a loser. And on top of it, CVs give trendy wardrobe to Sultan, but give shirts to Superstar. CVs (Mukta Dhound) ask Sultan/AR to tone up his body, where RK/VD does not maintain his fitness (ofcourse he doesn't get time ...not to offend RK and VD fans). Madhu can easily now lose fear of RK.
RK has started looking a crazy person whereas Sultan looks such a gentleman ready to escort milady and his kid. He is basically a good person. Madhu can now easily get out of love for RK and befriend Sultan
And lastly RK has become gullible and over-confident of Madhu's love and commitment for him. Madhu is all set to strike when iron is red hot

What is still the saving grace for him ? Somewhere his instincts are still sharp, which allow him not to go for shooting himself or anyone else. Somewhere he realizes that he cannot deserve Madhu's love or her company or her commitment towards him.

Am not quoting you completely, but Himbin, Zoya,SD, I agree with you.

I am not at all bothered at whatever method Madhu uses...seductive dance and all. Because to me she has never ever been white, she has never been 'ideal'. Ok, she fights on the side of perceived 'right' against perceived 'wrong'...that is her weakness. With RK, where did it get her? He has reconciled with his mom, with his father's death, with his Bappa. And what happened to her? So if she's changing or pretending to change, I am ok with it. She will never ever be the same ...her innocence is gone. DIpali got a taste of it yesterday. RK is getting a taste of it, and he's trying to figure her out.

River - Also have a sense of anticipation, hope I'm not disappointed.

Sultan factor is what is the loose cannon. yesterday's scene with Aryan was disquieting to me. One: Sultan is making the mistake of presuming Madhu's truth, two...he is seriously thinking of having her for himself,Aryan, Kaka. And CVS are purposely hiding the nature of Madhu's truth so that they can use it, twist it as per the contingency requirement.

Don't want to comment on future episodes here, and without watching the episode...but it is a continuing train of thought. The suicidal jump is lesson number 1...thou shalt not attempt to kill oneself, thou shalt not ask for killing oneself as proof of love. And this is between Madhu and RK...there is no room for Sultan here.Even in her mind.

And last but not the least, after Aryan's verdict about ganda RK, how many of us are now feeling sorry for RK?? Forget RK phangroups, I'm talking in general. Despite all what he's done, the feeling is nooo, he does'nt deserve to be called ganda, give him time to learn his lessons. Isn't it an attempt to shift perceptions, very slowly about RK's ganda act?

I may be over optimistic here, but this serial never goes for the obvious, that's why that seemingly innocent conversation seemed much more important than just the obvious. I could be completely wrong. And sultan may end up with Madhu after alll LOL

I have always felt that Sultan is the new Deepali in Rishbala's life. Difference being that Deepali entertains us by repeatedly getting BBBed, while Sultan will keep our fear alive that he can create havoc in Rishbala's life. This will provide drama which keeps the TRPs going. Because only Rishbala's romance cannot bring TRPs. They fell immediately after Ballu's death and the village track got the lowest TRPs in months. Sweet romance gets boring after a time. That is why I was happy with the revenge twist because it brought the spice back in Rishbala's interactions.

Agree with SD that Sultan can very well turn into an obsessive lover. After Madhu's revenge track is over and Rishbala are together again, Sultan turning into a proper antagonist (maybe aided by Deepali) could be very much on the cards. There must be a reason the CVs have shown him to be a gangster. If he had been a regular guy, his turning into villain would have seemed too Ekta-Kapoorish. But a gangster can turn nasty anytime and the audience gets the satisfaction of saying that we knew he would show his true colours one day LOL

Also, a powerful don is a worthy adversary to RK.

The only problem I see with Sultan is that he is a very bland character. A beautiful face holds attention only if shows some character - positive or negative. The constant poker face is too boring.

I think they are purposefully making Sultan look dull. You see, CVs major concern is always audience. We are the major character of the drama. According to them, Sultan is antagonist to us. So what they do...adopt live and let live policy. Why ? because they need Sultan for their story and they also need US for their story to run. So they tell their character Sultan...look you need to look dull. That way, the audience tolerates the drama. Imagine us sitting in Amrish Puri's chair and having hookah...and his employee comes and says...Sarkar, mere Bete se galti ho gayee...Maaf kar do...Main samjha doonga, ki ise dab ke rahna hai ... LOL
