RK-Madhu ka Patch up over Test of Love fight.

Events of the Episode

1. RK comes back to Madhu. They patch up. Says Madhu to RK - No more Love tests okay ? I am there to help you fight your insecurities, you just allow me do that. RK says yes.
2. Madhu modifies the plan of "going away from here" to "going away from here until you are completely healed and able to trust the world and then come back again to our loved ones". RK agrees.
3. RK then takes her to the pond-side place where he had given his first shot. He tells Madhu that he will marry her there after Padmini and Shamsher get married.
4. Radha goes to Padmini's place. Happily tells her that her son Rishu called her Maa and all that has been possible because of Madhu. She vows that she will not allow ger son to go anywhere.

Episode Reviews

Honestly, it was a confusing episode to me.

There definitely was "patching of scenes shot at different times".  It seemed clothing of the scenes through some dialogues and editing where the screenplay itself was a bad framework. This is my view only for today's episode construction. Today, the screenplay was total failure and definitely the dialogue writer had some kind of challenge to show some transitioning. I rate today's episode as C. All I see is clunk running the agenda for the CVs

The "Let's go away where there are just you and me" Track has now addendum of "Let's return back to our loved ones" with another conflict from Ms.Radhaji that she will not allow the son to go away anywhere.

Only one scene seemed good and that was Radhaji going to Padmini and sharing her happiness and I was enjoying it until, the clunk showed up...that Radha now involves Padmini to oppose the going away track for Madhu and RK. Both the mother's opposition...

But one thing I superliked. That RK wants to get married at that place where he gave his first shot when become actor. His Lucky Charm !!! That was Filmy, respectful and endearing feeling. Chalo shaadi hogi ya nahin...khayal to accha tha.

Dialogue writing: Entertaining but sending mixed signals

Waise Madhu picking up the Sargi packet from Trash bin and eating the same brought the highest TRP and so I think Raghubir Shekhawat in happiness used the word "Kachra" for RK.Madhu does not mind picking up the valuable thing from Kachra ka dibba. :) 

The dialogue writer could have said...tumhaare dimaag mein bhoosa bhara hua hai, but he very wittily has written Tumhaare dimaag mein kachra bhara hai.

Ab bhoosa ho ya kachra...I wonder, how is that gonna help Madhu except that she lends him her brain or cleans his brain and fills up her brain. Plain hilarious fight between the husband and wife by saying insane words there. LOL !!!

"The darkness of the night just before the daylight break is the darkest". 

Madhu: Tum Mera Ghana Andhera. So Madhu is calling him her darkest time of the night and Rishabh is calling her his daylight break "Tum meri pvt suraj ki pahli kiran ho". Makes sense as a couple. She is his Hope. 

Isn't that what she just promised to him...to teach him to accept, love and trust everyone around in the world, NOT just her. This is the aspect of RK which I have always said needs to be evolved. He is evolved and intelligent, but does not know how to let go or take it easy. Until he gives it all, learn not to ask love any more and just loves without expectation without holding any grudge, he is never going to feel loved enough. That is the meaning of his song as well.

Bujh ke na bujhe ye pyaas o rabba ,jaane yeh kaisa hai pyaar!  Until he learns to be satisfied, by not building up thirst, "Dooriyan hai kyon darmiyaan" will not go away. And isn't he asking Madhu that question.."Mujh ko  ye tu  bataa"..

See here...the ending moods of the song for either of them...towards that they are building a bridge of hope and rescue...

Honestly that song cannot be fulfilling love story and I am so glad that they are working at the resolution for the Rishabh induced pain for RK.

I liked her dialogue today... "Is Aag se Thodi si Aag churakar, Love ka bonfire jalayenge"

Gosh !! Madhu is on a high actually. She is vindictive, vengeful and keeps breaking Rishabh Kundra left and right. He tries to be difficult with Aag ka dariya and pat comes her response that she will steal something from that dariya...as if she hardly cares what he is talking about. Too good. Its like for once Sheldon has been taken for a ride...from Big Bang.

There could be 2 reasons why Madhu is on a high:

1) Vodka aur whisky ko dekhne ka asar.

2) Just like how Biwi is RK's O2 cylinder, RK is Biwi's dawai... So may be the effect of dawai.. Looks like the dawai is nasheeli...

Story Construct and Presentation

Though this episode was bad construct and previous two episodes were clunky servings of their CLUNK TRACK "Test of Love" ruling the Lets Leave the Stardom track, I will applaud the CVs that as a team, they have a strong foundation towards the story and presentation. Almost everyone in their crew agrees on the vision, which is entertainment FILMI style. So everything is BOMBASTIC. And so filmi hero, filmy heroine and filmy dialogues and filmy kahani.  Then I also like the fact that, their love story has a progression that is very human. This appeals to all age groups. The passion gives meaning to all age groups because we cannot say that old people stop loving or don't know what is romance. But since their story is not that smooth, the love story has adult questions, principles challenged which appeal the grown ups as well, which is the TRP generating group. Then I like the actors commitment to this drama.

Stunts...yes we laugh. But thank God! we don't have real life villainous fights. Those are ugly and we cannot even sleep after reading about them in newspapers. So anyone looking for reality, may just replace Balraj kidnapping Madhu and having that noose with song and dance, with her being trapped in a dungeon with people trying to touch her...the noose drama is much better.

Atleast after a decade (isn't it about that time when Ekta popularised Saas Bahu sagas), they have brought through MEIEJ, a soap like NUKKAD back on TV. Nukkad was human and entertaining with best actors in the serial. For those who do not know, it as a Doordarshan soap in 80's. MEIEJ holds the same canvas with entertainment. Aaj iski kahani kal uski kahani, in the same RK-MB world. Do I not see the same Nukkad in Balika Vadhu then ? NO. Nope, That serial has objective and social message, but it is low on entertainment for me. It is definitely not rugged and fast like Nukkad style.

Coming back to MEIEJ. Folks, so we still do not know why MB loves RK. That remains a million dollar question and ensuing debate. . But one thing is clear, Madhu is going to boss around RK, She is the Gauri to SRK

What was Madhu saying??? Did she even hear herself? Did she just say that his dimaag was filled with kachra, wo bhi sada hua??? The way she said it was so strong that  I got the feeling if she really felt this way about him… then she shouldn't be with him… even being in love with him would be no reason enough. Yes, RK deserved this…but 3 months earlier! I agree the guy is bitter due to his past, he is insecure about his relationships… but she cant say he has no idea about relationships. He was the one who saw the unsaid love between Padmini and Malik. He has maintained his silence regarding the wrong doings of the Bhatia clan to shield his mother (stupid and foolish, I agree). He took back the case against Malik, a man who was out to kill him. If he didn't understand a father or trust him, he would have never taken the case back. He would have not bothered to reconcile a father and a daughter or Padmini-Malik. I thought she loved RK because she trusted him more than himself to be a good human being behind his facade. She said that no one has hurt her like him… she should be thankful… the people she loves, her husband, parents and sister have faced worse and scarred for life!  I am so disappointed with those lines that I completely shut off from that scene… somewhere in between I heard that the sanyas plan is still on, just that now it is a makeshift arrangement and not a permanent plan. Thank God for small mercies. May be not! Radha-Padmini scene indicated that Madhubala is all set to thread the path of a 'saas-bahu' saga. Radha does not want to get away from RK-Madhu and Madhu just promised RK, they will go away. Good Luck, RK!

The talaab kinara scene was good. Just a grouse… why are they roaming about in the previous days clothes? Isn't it a fresh day? RK took time to shave not shower? I get it that was VD's shot just before and after his break… yet they could have gone for fresh set of clothes!

RK plans to get married at that place because his 1^st shot was in that place and its lucky… Hmmm! The film industry is so prominent in their lives. The scene had their usual banter… cute!

It's adorable if you look at it one way...this is a couple crazed by love for each other. They can't stay angry with each other, she lovingly tells him...he is her most gehra andhera, admitting that it is not easy for her, he accepts it in good humour, she calls his black memories about the past as kachra, i quite liked it, somebody needed to tell him that. Their relationship is becoming stronger, and they're both getting more possessive, if only...that saat pheras happen, all of us can move on. They're dragging the SR track, no big mystery to it. That's another TRP strategy from what I've seen. Acc to me, she is quite ok with moving on, but she keeps reminding him of his promise..it was his promise, not  hers. It's almost as if she keeps telling him, you promised, now bhugto and stay away.

RK-Madhu ka patch-up: See Shri, I was telling you the other day that Madhu was angry with herself for miscalculating RK and their love by not giving weightage to his past insecurities... She called it kachra today... And she made sure that she told him what she thinks of it, so that it doesn't affect her in the future. She goes onto say that she was ready to battle his insecurities but for that she needs his co-operation and support. In short, she wants him to suppress the Rishabh inside RK.  And she even goes on to talk about their running away and their coming back after winning the battle and he agrees to it..

Radha: I have to say only one dialogue to her... Itna khush mat ho jayiye Radhaji. Ek pal mein khushi toh dusre hi pal mein dard, takleef,etc... Yaar Dipzy ka dialogue yaad nahi hai:(

What an irony!! Y'day she herself told RK not to let any third person interfere and now she herself is going to become a kabab mein haddi... SHe promises to herself that she would not let RK-Madhu go anywhere away from her...Ab Madhu kya karegi? RK ka test pass karegi ya Radha maiyya ka?

Madhu has to choose one.. If she heeds to Radha, RK and Madhu problem. If she heeds to RK, then Dipzy would do a chance pe dance and plotting will start, phir se RK-madhu problem. In short, brace yourselves for high-TRP saas bahu drama!!!

When is Radha going to flaunt her trophy in front of the other Bhatias?

I hope Padmini remains the saner and sensible one in all of this and not interfere in her daughter's life.

And lastly the lake-side scene. I was happy to know that he wants to start his new life where he gaive his first shot...

But the brooding part of the scene was the aag ka dariya hai, doob ke jaana hai. And he asking her doobna chahti ho ya aag(himself) mein chalna chahti ho and she chooses aag... What does he have in mind.

@italics.  Chill  !!!The last ...ominous foreboding of bad times is for MEIEJ FANS who want the DARK STORY to continue. For those fans, those kind of dialogues have to be thrown in. Problems will come and be resolved for shippers as soon as they come.

LOL!! Wasn't that vindictive ???? TRUE.  Madhu lovers can be happy. She is more than a sherni. Weren't we saying she IGNORES HIM for HIS OWN GOOD and if that backfires, she will first cajole him only to ignore him again. I am telling you Mother/Nurse and a Royal Queen.

Chalo, though I did not like her lecture on emotional level, like I said the other day, lekin Madhu mera hi bhala kar gayi. Because I predicted that logically Madhu's junoon will be always to fight against Rishabh and claim RK all for herself. I always imagine this RK sandwiched between Rishabh and Madhu and that's why I love seeing Madhu fight Rishabh and RK peesing in between... Just that plot wise it is funny, emotionally it is not too good sometimes.

So the braggart in me, wants to be appreciated again. So bear with me when I remind us what I wrote. Yaar I still cannot believe that this is the exact logic CVs follow for Ishq and Junoon

Ishq - 

• RK's ishq is caring and being possessive about MB. There's certain level of deewanapan in the way he's after her. Be it to show his smirks or making his peremptory demands, its his expression of admiration for her, attraction for her and the desire to be in her company. Cluelessly enamoured royal tiger...I may as well be shameless and say seems in perpetual heat when around MB.
• MB's Ishq - Am guessing that it too will be possessive like RK. And her ishq so far has an expression of giving spontaneous response to RK's any kind of act. She just can't stop reacting to him. Cluelessly affected by him. She is angry, child-like, demanding, puppy-faced, looking teased and a royal queen.

Junoon - 

• Rishabh's junoon is to hide away under his mask or be a recluse in his cave. His junoon is also to conserve his Super Ego. Those who strike it, they are GONE! That's why MB has been the target. She questioned his thought-process, his way of living.
• Madhu's junoon is to fight for others cares without any thought for her. She goes to insane limits. Take the case of Mukund, Shamsher Malik... and now it is RK and her standing up to restore his faith in his friend and care-taker Ganesha'.and soon a day is going to come when she will decide to take care of Rishu, when she understands that Rishabh's way of living is not a living but a coping to live through'..her eternal fight with Rishabh.

Episode Events

1. Balraj enters the studio to watch his heroine giving a photoshoot. He is impressed with her and he leaves. Trishna misses him seeing, however she chances to see RK and Bittuji who had followed Balraj to see what he may do with Trishna. Trishna follows them out and typical to her ill-natured temperament, very annoyingly throws off an attitude over RK and dares him not to come in between her dreams which have just kick-started.
2. Dipali enters Radhaji's room and under the pretext of gifting her a shawl, tries to be snoopy as to what happened between RK and Madhu and what was the fight about. Radha advises her not to interfere in between husband and wife tiffs.
3. Madhu has gone to chawl and there she starts observing her mother Padmini and her father Shamsher from RK's eyes. She really starts feeling what RK said about them, that they do share a special bond. She feels it more poignantly when she sees Padmini as the married and yet not married woman through that Mangal sutra scene. Padmini's Mangalsutra was broken ...signifying to Madhu as one that Balraj must have tied for Padmini and now that got repaired and smoothened by Shamsher albeit minus his right to tie it for Padmini around her neck. 
4. She comes home and observes Radhaji calling the servant for medicines. Madhu stops to chat with her when Radhaji advises her not to stop talking to her son Rishu as he had made her his life. Madhu gets emotional and asks Radhaji not to worry.
5. RK and Bittuji are coming home. While in RK mansion lift, RK asks Bittuji to call up his lawyer. Bittuji wonders why now, all of a sudden, but keeps the thoughts to himself.
6. RK on entering the RK Mansion room living room, sees Radhaji taking medicines. He asks her why is she is taking the medicine. Baffled and dumb-stricken she manages to tell him that her BP has raised to 150/90. RK asks her to take care of her health. Madhu watches all of this.
7. RK enters his room. Madhu wants to talk to him. But RK is not talking to her. Madhu keeps trying to cajole him and tells him that she has something important to tell him. As RK goes about his work, she manages to tell him that she's been to see her parents and that he was right about them. To be continued tomorrow.

My Take on the Episode

Yet another interesting Episode. Again an A from me.

Am I looking isshmart ? Yes. You are looking smart ! I loved it!!!

If that was spoken by the seeming nincompoop and yet the ruggedly smart Balraj, it was no less the theme for all of the characters today. Almost everyone seemed to ask me today...Ain't I a Smart ? This undoubtedly is the theme of the day applied on every character today barring Bittuji, Padmini and Shamsher.

Balraj-Trishna-RK-Bittuji

So Trishna and Balraj do not get to meet each other. But Trishna gets to see RK and Bittuji and as usual has to start off lashing out at them. I guess; we like RK and Bittuji have to put up with her Heroine tantrums for a while. Sigh! 

I wondered, Balraj was so excited to see his heroine. But then he left the studio impressed with her shoot. So is that his sense of business ruling his mind at the moment ? I am yet to know this man. How he thinks and how he operates !!!!

Dipali-Radhaji Scene

Didn't Dipali give the shawl to Radhaji, right when she flew home from London in Sep ? How many more shawls are left for her to gift ? Seems always an agenda there. God!! Please can I have a permanent break from her ? Can she be sent back to London? I have been wishing since someone in the forum posted the poll. And sadly she still is there to send me to spiralling fits. Gosh ! can that gossip woman get any more gossippy and snoopy? Thank Goodness! Radhaji was no dunce and in a very subtle manner shows Dips that she is crossing the line. Thank Goodness!!!

Bottomline is Dips has become the hyena trying to scavenge any information that can help her survive to go back to her old days of reiging Queen of RK Mansion...Bahu hoon Mein Is Ghar ki.  Yuck!!!! I am going to get a barf attack here!

Radhaji - Madhu Scene

And then again Rads selfishness! Gosh!!! "Mere Rishu ke saath baat karna band mat karna"...Idiot!! Why not you say "Tum apne Rishu(RK) ke saath"...or Just plain "Rishabh" Sigh!!! The self-centeredness never ends!!! Chalo I forgive you...because yours laadli Bahu is no less mad. She needs to be advised like you said, even if that is ill-advised. Sigh!

Padmini-Shamsher Marriage Track

Interesting Padmini and Shamsher scenes look so natural and beautiful and not at all forced. Normally soap writers make it all clunky plot for supporting cast, but here it looks so beautiful here for the main characters to be taking care of the supporting characters. There I spoke myself why it is interesting !!  Because their story is being seen from the eyes of RK and MB. So it becomes much more beautiful. But I as a viewer, am proud to say that I could see the beauty even before RK and MB! YEY!!!  Wasn't I hurt, how Padmini could leave Shamsher for all the sacrifices he made. It reminds be of Jean Valjean of Les Miserables. His love for Cossette and his commitment to Fantine, her mother. Unspoken and un-named relationships and yet so much depth. Les Misrables was complicated, but Padmini and Shamsher's story is quite simple. So this plotline is so apt!! Just loving the drama here!  

CVs I like it. Keep it up 

Bittuji and RK scene --over Bittuji's questioning. Oh! I love them. Where and when and how they become employer/employee, friends and brothers, I cannot fathom. In every expression there is that sense of decorum, friendliness all within its limits. I just don't know what can I say of them? Amazing! RK keeps baffling Bittuji and yet Bittuji so steadfastly is his excellent executor of RK will. Good teamwork.

RK-Radhaji scene - If I couldn't express myself properly over Bittuji and RK, how do you think I am gonna write on son and mother scene. God! the woman was totally baffled. She was looking all around her!! Well somehere they had to begin. Hmmm!!! Beginnings!

RK-Madhu Scene - Madhu realized. Choti Bachi se Badi Bacchi ban gayi. 

Finally just as I thought, Madhu the married woman saw what Padmini the married and yet not married woman was missing all these years through that Mangal sutra scene. Padmini's Mangalsutra was broken ...signifying to Madhu as one that Balraj must have tied for Padmini and now that got fixed and smoothened by Shamsher albeit minus his right to tie it for Padmini around her neck. 

So the married Madhu finally understands how her husband was right all along. She cannot have him all the pleasure...she still needs to call him the 5 yr old kid with attitude and she's crying for having thought of him dumb and insensitive. And RK, what does he need, other than for his Biwi to just agree to him. He is the Creator, the seeker of truth and bearer of truth, all he needs is someone to see, someone to be with him and someone to support him in executing his wishes. Haha!!!  Him and his need to create. And what he thinking when asking his Bittuji to call up a lawyer ? Is he thinking of getting legal implications sorted out for Padmini and Shamsher marriage or something else. Whatever be! Man on the Mission. That's RK for me. Keep it up.

RK ki choti bachchi badi bachchi ban gayi!!!!

With RK's planted keeda in her mind, Madhu visits her maayka, only to see that Malik and Padmini have always shared a husband-wife like r'ship , thus approving their marriage proposal.

Trishna-Balraj: Was Trishna so much made-up for the photo-shoot and the photo-shoot lights also switched on, that Balraj failed to recognize Trishna as the common girl who came to visit RK in jail? Ab jaake samajh aaya mujhe make-up aur lights ka kamaal And he approved her as potential heroine-material already!!!

Trishna-RK-Bittuji: Trishna says that she is trying to make a new beginning in the industry and as usual throws her ghisa-pita tantrum. She prolly  thinks that RK is now Madhu's aashiq and so he'll shut his mouth.  Can't she for once think that who could have lifted the ban on her? And come on RK, if you throw in a lil attitude at her, it's not going to harm her or she is not going to discover that you are behind all this.. 

RK-Bittuji-Lawyer- RK is already doing the ground-work for Padmini-Malik marriage.. Am assuming the lawyer is for discussing the nitty-gritty of Padmini's previous marriage and how to legally overcome them.. Smart Boy!!!

I can finally say for once, I was not disappointed with Radha today. She put Dipzy in place though I know, she herself didn't quite know the details. One advice for Madhu here. Continue not saying your marital fights/woes to your MIL and let it be just b/w you and RK.

She advised Madhu that RK has always been lonely and he has made you his life, so do not stop talking to him even if there is some problem. Here also, you can see some selfishness in her, but maafi for the fact that it is for RK-Madhu's welfare.

She was moved when RK enquired about her health. 

RK-Madhu scene: It was a nice one with Madhu trying to pacify RK.

Can we not have Dipzy on screen plzzz?

Once again Cvs justify why this serial is different from most others and an addiction to the viewers. The reason I say this:

1. Padmini-Shamsher bonding- Beautifully done, with each and every expression and dialogue looking so genuine. Nothing looks forced just so to convince viewers about the upcoming marriage track. 

2. Rishabh-Radha scene: In spite of my reservations with the character Radha, I liked today's scene very much. The anguish and hurt accumulated inside Rishabh will not disappear in an instant just because he has fallen in love with his wife and she wants him to reconcile. The healing process for Rishabh has to be gradual, and that is where CVs strike the cord, first with that cake scene and now with today's scene. Glad they are not showing all sugary maa-beta patch up scenes in a hurry. I was touched to see how Radhaji was looking around in amazement just to make sure that it was her that her son was talking to. Credit goes to the actor here.

3. RK-Madhu scene: It was just Awww.. Madhu ka cute, golgappa, samajhdar pati. She manaofied RK in so RK style. She knew a normal 'sorry, mujhe maaf kardo' would not have worked on him. Madhu finally realizes the deeper emotions underlying mutual respect, concern and care between her parents. Courtesy, RK sowing this seed of thought in her mind and then her witnessing the mangalsutra and sweater scene today.

The way these two fight and patch up, it is so much as happens in real life couples. Couples in real life don't skulk over their fights for zillions of years as is shown in many other serials which drains the viewers of their emotional powers. Their relationship is so adorable and connectable for aam janta like us. And bonus, 2-2 hug ek hi episode me.. I am loving this subtle romance between these two.

Coming to Radha-deepali. I still have a feeling had Radhaji known the reason for RK-Madhu fight, she would have told deepali.

Radha-Madhu scene: Again highlights the selfishness of this lady.

The only reason Trishna has the audacity to throw so much attitude and venom at RK these days is that she knows he would keep quite for Madhu's sake. 

RK-bittuji scene was hilarious as usual.

Coming to Balraj, surprisingly he has a glimpse of his heroine and leaves.Hmm!!

A sincere reuest to CVs: Can we have some permanent solution for this deepali? Please. She took up 5 mins of screen space today. 

P.S: Did I mention how I am loving RK portraying the perfect husband these days? The way he askd her 'badi bacchi bankar sochna'...aww...

Come on gals! Give him a slack. Today was not the day. Deeper things weighed on RK's mind. He was having a bad day and yet he was poised throughout all his executions for the day. He needed to be poised, if he had to be successful, Remember the whole day he had been dealing with craziness around him...Madhu and Balraj. And that too on a hungry stomach.  I really wonder, how he went on without food. Would Trishna have changed had RK showed any attitude ?

Moreover, seeing Trishna following them RK and Bittuji panicked. So their need to get away from her. Slyness and deceipt automatically makes you weak. That was RK's psychological state. Remember, RK does not like too much of ugly situations...

Trishna is Laaton ke Bhoot Baaton se nahin maante. She was a vain brat always, a tantrum queen even when she was nothing. She got slapped by Padmini, Roma and Shamsher. Only left people are Madhu and RK

I understand all that weighing on his mind and his need to get away from Trishna but,we are used to a particular way how a character acts in a given situation and I felt RK could still have gotten away from Trishna but,with a care not,dismissive look...But,then again it was not a big,important scene for me to keep fretting about...so,will let it go... but,just hope this is not how RK is going to be through out this track of him secretly launching Trishna...Him  following BSC to make sure he doesn't bother Trishna was nice though...

I understand you. And I really should not force my opinion on anyone in this regard.

 But yet again let me show this. Just hear me out. The guy patched up with Madhu in his own time, then embraced Padmini and Shamsher in time...with taunts, tantrums and now love...so much that without any word, just takes their blessings. He is in this deep mellowed state. The only person left out is Trishna. Trishna is sore point for both RK and Madhu. RK knows he used her like a doormat, worse than what he did for Shamsher. He used Trishna to get close to Madhu during Mukund days. And then he had asked for a ban on Trishna which he forgot for so many days. If he could fix up Shamsher's health and then forgive him when RK voluntarily did not desire any bad for Shamsher, how can he not go for retribution when he volunteered to ruin Trishna for the irritable gnat sister of Madhubala. Yes, he had insane apathy for Trishna just like he felt the disgust for Mukund's mother. But then this period of him is not about him living in disgust. This is about him correcting his mistakes.

Why does he not answer back Trishna in RK style? To me its like the same way why he does not answer back Dipali. Come to think of ...RK is a gentleman in his own way...I remember somewhere writing about that. He stays away from women in decent limits. He does not have the acid tongue that he uses mostly around him...and especially on Kuku, Sikky, his mother and later on Madhu, Padmini and Shamsher. Therefore, I was relatively surprised in the episode references that you showed to me where RK tells Trishna that he will destroy her career. The way he used the language...TU, Tujhe, that was SO CRASS and UN RKish, I was plain disgusted. I was aghast that he went out of his character. 

So how I relate the two is...she invokes so much disgust and lowliness in him when he is in vulnerable state that, he wouldn't want himself to be there again.  May be for viewers like me the writers showed RK, the way he behaved today in a justifiable manner.  May be they will soon show him showing her, her place if she says anything against Madhu.  His problem with Trishna right now is that, he happened to be the reason of her unhappiness and her cursing him and Madhu and secondly, she being Madhu's loved sister. He is just sandwiched between the two feelings.

Why he could tauntingly talk to Padmini and Shamsher. Because, even without Madhu's duhai...those two samaritans evoked so much respect from him that he tried to be cynical about it. It went on until he just wanted to embrace them. Sarcasm is a sense of humor usually employed only on the deserving and equals and not who keep whining and crying like Trishna. Gosh! He is a man. How can he keep on stand looking at the tears. If he tolerated his mother and her family, provided for her, if he said a Yes to Balraj madness, he can say Heck! and just stand there at Trishna madness.

Inspite of me feeling this way...no worries. I am sure the CVs have planned something nice for Trishna. You shall all be happy. Atleast Bittuji said something to Trishna.

Episode Events

• RK continues watching from afar Shamsher and Padmini scene. How Padmini brought medicines for Shamsher and how she was taking care of him. He is jappy watching them and their relationship.
• Bittuji comes and asks RK to come outside as he needs to see something. Outside they see the adamant Balraj doing a drama of ...doing pooja of RK...with aarti. I wonder where he got the lamp and pooja samagri  from. Maybe he stole from the studio. RK and Bittuji are upset with the commotion he is raising, ask him to leave. Upon further argument, RK promises, "okay you can make a movie with me". Balraj leaves. RK regrets that in the heat of the moment he made a mistake of saying yes to Balraj. Bittuji convinces RK, not to bother and think of it as a blessing in disguise. They can have the crazy man produce the film for Trishna and if things get revealed, they can back out and no one would believe this crazy man.
• Later at night, RK and Madhu are practising a script for RK. Madhu repeatedly keeps failing with saying out RK's name each time. Soon that talk leads how Madhu never liked anything about films and how Shamsher had to take care of her in order for her mother and Roma to give the shots. This leads RK to bring the subject of his wish to have Padmini and Shamsher getting married. Madhu gets offended that RK still thinks from his polluted narrow mind and that he feels the need to marry of her parents inspite of their pure platonic relationship. RK explains that it is not that, but it is about her parents requirement for companionship in old age. They need each other's support much more when the children settle down away from them. Madhu is angry and says end of discussion.
• In morning too, Madhu remains upset with RK and doesn't talk to him inspite of him calling her. He reaches dining hall and asks her why she is not talking to him and reminds her that not her, but only him can have that kind of attitude. She tries to serve food for him and he shoves the plate away and comes back to his room in anger. Radha is frightened and Madhu follows RK into his room.
• The fight intensifies and Madhu blurts out that she is still upset with him for suggesting marriage of her parents thinking of their relationship as something impious. RK pulls the upset Madhu into his arms as he cannot see her like that. Hugging her, he says, that's not the case as she thinks of his proposal and that she should think about what he said in calm and collected mind. Madhu then counters RK by saying how about him asking forgiveness from his mother and she can then agree for his proposal.
• RK is very upset at the turn of events and starts thinking over days events in his vanity van. He reads through the contract for Balraj's offer of becoming producer to his venture. He refuses lunch. Bittuji observes all of this and aks what happened. RK asks him to get married and see for himself what sort of troubles brew up. Very endearing scene. Must watch scene.
• Finally Balraj comes in and Bittuji and RK ask him to sign the contract. They inform him that RK will only make a guest appearance in yhis movie and someone else will be the hero. And that heroine has been already short-listed. Balraj expresses his desire to see his heroine...who is none other than Trishna for whom RK is taking so much trouble.

Theme being ...Stubborness and Craziness gets you somewhere ! Logic can be thrown out of the window

Continuing from yesterday, so the creatives nicely changed yesterday's precap scene and Padmini and Balraj do not see each other.

Stubborn and Crazy Balraj

What if he had been sent away from the party. He gets another novel and crazy idea. He starts "aarti" of RK the Superstar in front of the poster. The commotion and attention he raises, is enough to drive RK crazy and he agrees to let Balraj become his producer. Balraj gets his way.

Stubborn and Crazy Madhu

What if RK made her unhappy talking about getting Padmini and  Shamsher get married. How dare he!! But then...no she has a plan. She knows how to get back to RK for making her unhappy. Forget about her parent's happiness, its all about her promise to Radhaji to return her son. Squeeze it out of RK while she has chance for it. She blackmails him...ask forgiveness from your mother and then I shall relent and agree to have my parents married. 

Must say Madhu is an excellent negotiator...Chit bhi uski, Pat bhi uski

Head..she wins...RK will refuse to ask forgiveness from Rads...No prob, She does not have to work on her parents marriage.

Tails ...She wins. RK will ask forgiveness from Rads...Madhu gets to have fulfilled her promise to Rads about Ma-Beta Milaap

Can Madhu get any dumber and childish ?

She is acting as an immature brat who doesn't how to deal with RK Logic Express. So she pulls out all her crazy horns! Gosh!! RK married a Child-Wife. Period. She is like the child who is happy to see the world as is and romp and stomp in it with all protection from its parents. Seldom it has time or care to think what might be bothering the parents or what might be the parents sacrificing for its happiness. Hope Madhu really thinks with a cooler mind as RK suggested to her. If she cannot think as Padmini and Shamsher's daughter, atleast she can think as the daughter who is now married to another man, no more just the daughter. 

And will she ever learn not to blackmail RK...with those use of photographs or today's condition at his seemingly desirous outcome. She seems to get a lot of pleasure pinching him hard. 

We are having so far 4 negative traits for Madhu the Self-Righteous

1. She is dumb and in her dumbness can hurt her loved ones (not just RK, anyone) - majorly Mukund track and we always see her being dim.
2. She is stubborn without any reason.
3. She can stoop to blackmail if she thinks it is right to do so. - Meri Maa se Maafi maango track in Aug/Sep and now Tumhaari Maa se Maafi Maango condition
4. She pries into other's privacy and has also audacity to wreak havoc in other's lives through her ill-formed opinions around those scoops. - Ganesha track and her promises to Rads and claiming to change RK almost pushing him towards death, Shamsher track and now Letter/note reading

RK and his woes with Crazy Gang around him

The man truly portryayed his marriage woes with that Child-Wife of his in a sarcastic pleasurable way, biding his time, reading the contract for Balraj, refusing his lunch and sharing his woes with his ally Bittuji. He was so sweetly pissed off that he wanted Bittuji to be married and burning in the same hell as him. That was just awesome to watch.

Then the man had to deal with his new found sponsor...the crazy Balraj. Who signs without seeing anything...for how does it matter to him what he signs. He knows only to play with his Tamancha (Pistol). That tamancha is the ultimate binding contract for him. RK doesn't yet know that...but we know it.  The guy was disappointed that RK was not starring in his self-produced film...but he is happy to see his heroine. 

That's another story for tomorrow when RK's crazily jealous and Hawa Mein Udne waali Heroine Trishna will meet Balraj. Will she recognize her father ? Will she be stubborn enough to forget Balraj and let her dreams of becoming a Heroine play on ? We have to watch this tomorrow.

I have begun to enjoy the flawed characters around Rishabh Kundra and it will be nice to see, how he wades through it all. And Rishabh Kundra is self-confessed RK, who does not know what goes on his mind.  So I guess he can wade through it...

Best scenes for me were

1. RK and Madhu practicing the script
2. RK and Bittuji playing friends...sharing and listening to woes
3. RK and Madhu fight at the table and that hug. I liked it very much.

Raj Zutshi or Balraj. 

He is just brilliant and him with that pony tail, which I couldn't see; was such a good sight.  

Watching him was plain hilarious. Just mute the video and watch him and others. You will start laughing uncontrollably. Did you see how he was trying to whistle and he could not ! :)) And what was his idea about bringing in sugar cane stick plucked liked that. I just tried and tried and I failed. I guess it is to make Bittuji and RK become bit too self-assured that this mad guy will let them have their last word. They just don't know that the guy is intelligent with a twisted mind too. 

Bittuji and RK ki waat lagne waali hai for calling that man a paagal. They are paagal enough to have associated with himself. :))))

I can really be lax on RK for not doing due diligence on Balraj's background, because 1) He is not bothering himself with the guy's background except the fact that he is insuring himself contractually with him. So he is making him obligatory for bearing all production expenses. 2) RK is in a hurry to get set go with Trishna case. And he knows Trishna is not that promising. 3)There are lot of fanatical elements approaching Film Industry. Everyone knows that there needs to be certain passion to be part of Film Industry. Lot of people like Balraj can think of entering movie industry. Do you look at the faces of real life industry people ? Don't the faces speak for themselves ?

Today's episode was really nice to watch even on mute. Did you all see Rads disgust at seeing RK shoving the plate away from Madhu ? She was like...what disgusting manners? And I burst out seeing her cringing face. I was like...Did you forget that this is your son ? :)))

And lastly it was fun to see, each time RK's flustered face looked like sandwiched and caught in unwanted worlds throughout the episode. Woe his two days in the episode today. 

Wasn't it one of the fastest episode for MEIEJ...two days so quickly passed. From yesterday noon to today noon kind ?:))) For me it was entertainment and paisa wasool episode. And about that hug...I liked how DD trembled in anger state and how that was actually emoted well between the two actors in the actual hug scene. I guess it came up pretty easily with VD and DD shaking themselves in that push-pull scene.

Paagal Ballu aur RK ki Bachchi Biwi!!

It was quite a good episode.

I personally like the fact that Madhu got enraged when RK put forth the Malik-Padmini marriage proposal. Any one in her place would have done the same. She has lived with them for the past 21-22 years. They might not be blood relations but yet their family r'ships are all very much beyond the conventional society norms. Malik-Padmini's might be a benaam rishta and prolly the society might discard them as living-in(or even illicit) but yet theirs is a very platonic r'ship built by mutual respect, trust, care, concern not only for their common string(kids)  but for each other's well-being too,etc. And had Madhu contemplated over RK's idea, I would have definitely scoffed at her that somewhere even she thinks that they need to get married to get a proper status and that she had demeaned her parents r'ship.

Now, coming to the condition she put forth in front of RK. I like it for a reason and it angered me for another reason.

The cause of anger was that how could she say ask  your mom for forgiveness.It was totally ridiculous!!! Had she told him forgive your mom and patch-up with her, it would have been better.

Why I liked it- It was to show to him that it is as difficult for me to accept it just the way it is as difficult for you to patch-up with your mom. Even at that time, he was trying to convince her and make her agree to him. So she wanted to say she was also hurt by the fact that he also thought bad about Pads-Malik r'ship, thus the condition. The fact that he brought up the issue and also the press-conf memory where he had defamed their r'ship had made her jump to the conclusion that somewhere he thinks bad about their r'ship too.

Madhu shall come around with this proposition and RK would make sure she sees sense that it is for her parent's own good and betterment. But for now, am happy with her first reaction.  21-22 years is too long and she has heartily accepted their r'ship the way it is and for her to be convinced shall take time...

I liked RK-Madhu hug so much today and RK-Bittuji scene where he talks of his marriage woes was too good:):)

One scary and a very ominous thing is Ballu. RK's adamance, stubborn nature, arrogance is all rendered powerless by ballu's antics. RK becomes so helpless in front of Ballu's madness to such an extent that even his rational thinking is bowing down to Ballu's paagalpan.

A nice episode… I am glad they showed difference of opinion between Madhu and RK on Padmini-RK's relationship.

Madhu, for that matter the entire Malik family is conditioned to think their family really doesn't have to be bond in relationships the society accepts. Understandable!  All their lives I am sure they have faced snide remarks and the family hasn't succumbed to it and have methodically avoided it. Madhu's words of 'pavitra' and 'naam ki zarurat nahi hai' was what I am sure the entire family feels. So she lashing out on RK was given. But RK did show amazing maturity not to hold that against her. I loved the scene he hugged her and yet again explained what he meant. 'Badi bachi banke sochna' was such a considerate way of telling her to think as a grown up daughter.

What put me off was Madhu holding him to ransom.  If she didn't want to discuss she could have refused him yet again… she didn't have to throw a deal at him. It was almost like it was a strategy to stop him from talking about Malik-Padmini…. Reminded me of the photo deal and I didn't like it. For the last time Madhu, If RK has to reconcile with his mom… he has nothing to apologise for!  Why does she think that it is all RK's fault? She has seen him reconcile with so many things and people… herself, her family and the almighty! Does she think it is fashionable for him to snub his mother? Did she hear him when he spoke about how 3 people closest to him broke his heart? Even after that why does Madhu feel he should apologise??? I will feel like an idiot if RK apologises to Radha for no fault of his. One reason why I want RK's involvement in Padmini-RK's wedding is to make people around him realise he isn't averse to remarriage and he doesn't hold it against his mom either… that is not the reason he is upset with his mom. I am sure if Bhatia was half as good a human that Malik is, RK would have been more than glad to accept his as a father. What I liked about RK today was that he was being very patient with madhu even after she put that condition infront of him. He was upset for sure because of which he didn't eat… but he wasn't mad at her… he will get home and try again.

Nice scene between Padmini-Malik and Madhu… Now that RK has put in the keeda into Madhu's mind may be she will start seeing things differently. She will probably realise that how her mom frets over Malik's medicines is similar to her being RK's chemical Biwi.

Another moment which seemed like a script of the erstwhile(?!?) Madhubala… Madhu's aversion to the film industry…

Ballu does have a twisted way of getting things done from RK and so easily at that. Not a very good sign…

Exactly Leela. First I used to get upset. Now that I know that, baad mein Madhu ki waat lagne waali hai, I am enjoying it.

Brought up by a Shamsher and Padmini turned her into a self-righteous vain brat. Her parents always allowed her whatever she wishes. If Madhu was spoiled as self-righteous Glycerine girl, they spoiled Trishna as the self-possessed and self-important Heroine girl. Vain traits were encouraged.

Madhu now being married to an RK has to keep fighting to keep up her self-righteous vain trait. The only trait that helps her fighting RK is the stubborn streak that she got from Balraj, her biological father.

And Madhu when she comes face to face with Balraj as her father, she will value Shamsher and RK. The whole show is about her learning  from a naive, vain girl to becoming an informed person, but who will always be protected and again turned into princess by RK. She is actually being spoiled by RK. So even if she is gaining sense like in Ganesha track and Shamsher track, she gained knowledge only to become more closer to RK. So for sure there are going to be tracks, where she keeps getting closer to him in SURRENDER rather than in LOGICALLY APPROVING manner and hence the junoon and madness. He will keep felling her stubborn walls for him and she will gladly come out her self-constructed tomb of dumbness. That is why this is Ishq and Junoon.

To me, looks like in the haste to make everything alright, RK has taken on more than he can handle.He has opened many fronts at the same time lekin lad nahin pa raha hai. In his confession to Madhu about making everything alright with her family, there is not a single dialogue where he says ki Madhu is ke liye tumhara saath hona bahut jaruri hai. Tumhri madad ke bina mein akela yeh nahi kar sakunga.

In his true RK ishtyle he is waging war on all injustices all by himself.

You understood it right. If you see my response to Leela, that is pretty much RK's story in reverse and which shall explain your concern in bold.

In essence, RK is not asking for Madhu's help, RK is asking Madhu to agree with him. He puts across a thought and he expects Madhu to agree with him and understand him. But Madhu being Madhu, she just accepts it as a verdict, which ticks off RK big time. Then he quarrels with her, throws plates and pans and pots and yells  and then finally with love explains her how she is wrong in just surrendering like that and instead shows the logic behind things. She seems to be seeing his viewpoint, and Rishabh Kundra is mesmerized in her and he forgets to see if she understood his logic again or just listened to his lecture totally mesmerized by him.

Essentially their love for each other makes them happy, but it is the same love that makes a spoilsport. One makes her a princess and other makes him a God. And yet one appears to be a subservient wife which is not making the husband happy and the other appears bossy husband which is not making the wife happy. And what is all the fight about? Don't be a subservient wife to me. Don't be a bossy husband to me ? Idiots! Aren't they speaking the same ? 

Apna ki jaata hai..we will just enjoy the show until it lasts.

@bold: RK ne badi si musibat mol li hai. Bittuji told that " Is burai mein bhi kuch achchayi hai". But the fact is that it is still a burai and the goodness is just a fraction...

@red: How much ever he insures himself contractually or the fact that all the production expenses are going to be borne by Balraj, so are the losses or the gain, it doesn't change the fact that he is going to be associated with this man. RK is still going to be involved in most of the technical aspects albeit secretly.   Had RK  been thinking of handing the reins to him(and not be associated with the film), then i agree he can be lax but with him wanting to control him, which implies, working quite closely with him(though Trish might be unaware), then isn't it best that he does a bg check on this man, where, how,what of his finances, personal life ,etc.?He met  him in jail for godsake and he might never know what sort of a mess he can land himself into. He is a superstar. He has a rep, and a lot more other things to keep up and he would not like to involve himself in shady dealings. Wouldn't it be better if he is cautious?

Instead of being cautionary, they are thinking this intelligent and venturing ahead. That's why my three observations ...not bothering, hurry and doing business with fanatics.

Even in real life, intelligent people can also make mistakes like RK is doing. We Gaddams are biggest examples. We look so intelligent and actually are intelligent. But circumstances in life force you to overlook logical things in search of happiness and go for anything that seems easy. If we are destined to be lucky, even silliest of plans become successful. If we are destined to have failures, even solid fool-proof plans will also fail. And we have failed especially in trusting people for arranged marriages. We failed big time, losing money in those stupid ventures...let alone the mental disturbance.
