Episode 206 Discussion: 27th Feb 2013

Madhu ne Band Baajaya RK aur Dips Ka. Baaraat (Bittuji & Audience) mast hoke naach li. Shaamil kiya Sikky aur Shraddha ko bhi orchestra Mein.

Events of the Episode

1. RK seeing Madhu absent on the set, gloats over his win, croons his version of Meri Maa (from TZP -Darsheel/Aamir movie) into Radhaji's ears (over phone). Takes his badla with his mother for not serving Jali hui Gobhi ki sabji last night in Madhu's favor by calling her bahu as Jalee hui Kheer. Pathetic Guy!!!  Bittuji's expressions-disappointed.
2. Dips regular shameless drama of sucking up to RK starts. Even RK is super bored and says to Dips, "You characterless, I cannot always say 'OUTT", even the audience is getting bored of it". What a charming boy!!!  Takes care of our feelings about him and Dips. 
3. Bittuji comes to RK's rescue and asks Dips to leave to her vanity room. Dips ignores Bittuji. RK pleads Dips to leave. Says "Please". What a pity for RK to have come to this passe Dips forced to relinquish her leech suck-up act.
4. Dips goes to her vanity room. She is surprised by Sikky's presence in her room. Must watch scene. I cannot even describe how much it is pleasing to see Sikky do that to Dips. Sikky please continue!!  Sikky  . Bittuji for giving that idea to Sikky  
5. A courier man comes to deliver a package to RK. Bittuji warns RK to be careful. RK says he is not scared as there are only 3 enemies of his that he is keeping watch on..Madhu, Bittuji and his mother Radhaji. Opens the package and finds a First Aid box.
6. Upon opening it, 5 things with notes attached present themselves. 1) A Get Well Soon card, 2)tablets to cure headache for taxing his brain too much in making ploys, 3)bandage to tie if he is injured with bottle-breaking upon his failed plans, 4)dettol to pour over his septic/toxic seepage out from his body at his defeat, 5) cotton to stuff his ears tight if people advise him for his own good. RK guesses it to be Madhu. Bittuji cannot control his leaking laughter. And there is one more thing about broken heart which is left incomplete and as RK looks up, real Madhu completes the sentence as "no need, you don't have the heart". Yey!!! Madhu is here 
7. Madhu then comes close to him and starts her polite bashing. You should just watch the scene. RK goes dumb with her each taunt. Finally her bashing ends with saying "I am no ghoda ya gadhi...if you cannot understand...vamp se poocho vampire"  Dips and Sikky who sauntered over to this drama taken aback at Madhu's audacity. Sikky impressed . Bittuji walks away to give the update to Radhaji.  And Dips is scared at Gadha/Ghoda allusion.
8. Madhu then leaves RK and comes close to Dips and claims "Vamp...Dipali, I am not a Gadha/Ghoda and I am a jockey who is here to win the race". Walks away proudly.  RK looks on admiringly at Madhu inpite of himself. Cute it was to watch him like that. 
9. Then we have a green room slightly dull scene where Dips again to hurt Madhu, keeps advising Shraddha the new actress how to go for posh hair-stylists and not hire services of Chawlbala types. Madhu looking on at Dipali's antics as Shraddha starts to worry. In walks Sikky with a media photographer and clings close to Dips and has a pic taken.Respity scene as we are relieved of Dips torture on account of Sikky. Shraddha gives us another respite by asking Dips if the man (Sikky) was her manager and if she can hire him for herself.   Dips pulls Sikky aside and asks him to come away with her to her vanity room. Episode Ends.

OMG!!! As I was reading the written update, I was remembering what Zoya wrote yesterday.

Want to add Shraddha too. In their limited capacity Shraddha with her naivete ne aisi bajayee ki Dips Dholak Phat gayi...she scuttles off to her vanity room for which Bittuji had to try a little bit of hard bajaana...

Hliarious episode - better to be watched for all the 16 minutes non-stop. LOL. 

Last 4.52 minutes, Total waste. Even as Dips gets a show-down, I was getting bored. Too bland.  

And precap :  Totally put me off ...as in I was in laughing state, then went into boring state and when I saw the precap, all my thinking antennae shot up so high washing off all the fun. Since when this guy started being on a high ? So am I to assume that liquor does not affect him nowadays and only Madhucol/Madhutonic/Madhudisiac turns him high!!! I wonder !!!  Seems Madhu's presence enough intoxicates him. Reserved for tomorrow's judgement.....

Anyways forget everything and watch the 16 minutes show. 

It was fun, with RK getting bashed by Madhu.

An aside: 

Sikander and Seema Mishra sure love their shots together. I have a feeling these actors, the supporting cast; is well loved. They bring so much entertainment in the garb of their foolish and disgusting persona. Simply lovely. My applause to these two today along with Bittuji and Shraddha. Sikander was too good with his shades and his clinging. Too good!!!!

Highlights of the episode:

 Hawa mein udte parindey ki parr kat gaye!!!!( feathers of the flying bird-RK have been cut)

All the characters were playing passing the parcel with the dholak(Dipzy)... Even Shraddha was not left behind in bajaoing Dipzy

Rk ke hosh ud gaye--- didn't know whether to be impressed with his ex-Biwi's sherni act or sulk and grumble on his defeat!!!

Kya din aa gaye hain Superstar-- you are reduced to say please to Dipzy!!! Serves you right!!!!

RK-Bittuji chemistry rocks!!!! The scenes were too good!!!

Madhu was truly remarkable... Keep up the spirit girl!!! But looks like you're going to become talli by consuming  spirit...

The only zoning out moment of this episode was when Dipzy opened her mouth and went on an on about hair and products in the make-up room...CV's plz is ghode ke zubaan par lagaam lagao!!

Sikky was the saving grace in Dipzy scenes!!!

[RFOL] I want to add to this. Shradda was too cute today in all of this drama. Episode started with her being there and ended with her being there and she had no clue what drama was going around her and yet she behaved so well. Such a STARK contrast to Dips the cameo, the vamp, the dholak, the Bhabhi, the wifey.

• My special applause to Shraddha the actress (i don't know her name), Indresh Malik, Sikander and Seema Mishra.  They are the stars today.
• As long as Seema and Sikky are in the same frame, everything becomes justified. So CVs Please INSULATE US ALWAYS with Sikky around Dipali. [Applause]
• And not to forget, my applause to DD and VD drama creation, to the creatives. And VD as getting bashed in that Police dress was super hilarious. As in ...can it get any more funny when the guy that we want to ogle at, is so dashing, charming, suddenly offers himself for this kind of bashing entertainment. Overall he looked like Johnny Bravo today. My sister used to laugh so much at Johnny Bravo's antics. [LOL]

yes, they used VD body double. More clearly visible in long shots where VD is not facing the camera. I think all because of VD and DD punjab tour. I noticed DD body double in yesterday's episodes with Dips.

Seems the Dips drama was not only plot requirement for viewer entertainment, it was also needed for the marketing intiative and resulting adjustments for the time constraints involved.

Episode 205 Discussion: 26th Feb 2013

Muskaanein Jhooti hain !!!! Says Who? Says AUDIENCE to RK and Dips.  

Challenge -Day 3 ended.

Events of the Episode

1. Dipali and Madhu's mini-confrontation in green room is done with. Madhu leaves the room and is back on the set.
2. Muskaane Jhooti hai Song starts with Dips doing the Item song with RK. Madhu is looking at Dips, greatly affected by her. RK is just looking at Madhu to watch how all of this affects Madhu. Somehow audience gets the feel that RK and Dips smiles are all going to turn into cry looking at the disgusting duo.
3. End of the song, after Director's cut, RK gets to bash Dips. Madhu as she starts walking away is intercepted by Dips and another mini round of who gets to be Ghoda and Gadha starts between Madhu and Dips. Dips seems to be pricking Madhu that now she gets to be close to RK and not her. Madhu doesn't react as usual at Dips comments, but starts contemplating as what she wants to achieve in her present stand against RK.
4. She walks back to Chawl, sits in pensive mood. Trishna walks in and notices Madhu in thought. Madhu starts discussing with Trishna that she is indeed figuring out what is she trying to prove to herself. As they two girls discuss with Trishna's promptings, Madhu voices out that there is only hate left for RK. He has wounded her so bad that heart can never be fixed, even if RK comes back to fix it as broken glass cannot be fixed. He has broken her trust so ruthlessly that even if RK comes and apologizes to her for his act, Madhu will not be able to trust him.
5. RK mansion - at the dining table, Radhaji asks Dipali that she has resumed acting and not even cared to tell anyone. Since it was RK who instigated Dips into this act and since he needs her further for the coming days, RK tries to deflect his mother's questions to Dipali. But Sikky is upset that Dips did not inform him. Sikky asks RK to find for him too a suitable role, which RK as usually receives a mocking response from RK.  Dips tries to cover up with Sikky, saying he was not there. Radhaji interjects her and says, but she was there. Again RK tries to deflect Radhaji and asks for his fav curry "burnt Gobi". Radhaji ignores him and his small talk/demand and instead bestows her whole attention to Sikky. RK feels ignored and belittled and he calls the servant Patil and asks him to get his food to his room.
6. Day 4 begins at the studio. RK and Dipali walk in together. Heroine Shraddha reading through her script and Dips sits beside her with her script and calls for her hairdresser. Someone walking towards her who does not look Madhu. Epiode ends.
7. Overall an episode where hugely AUDIENCE instead of being a spectator to the drama gets to judge all the characters. Trishna's prodding Madhu to find her voice is reflective of audience's expectation of Madhu's stance on her circumstance. Likewise Radhaji's censure to Dips and total ignoring of RK is audience's disapproval of what RK and Dips did at the studio.

This girl is something !!!!  - Dips about Madhu.  Didn't she know that before. She was ready to accept that without bitterness as Dips now has her RK. 

And the way Dips keeps wanting to show herself off through dialogues to RK, and RK the way he keeps humiliating her into "Bulb" & "Tubelight", it came across so much as Dips gulping down her pride and yet sucking up to kiss his boots as she sees a future for her there. Its so much like the girls around the important man...What a state to be in !!!  Dips almost showing us the Couch Potato scenario to make it big...

Body double was used for DD when she is with Dipali...is it because VD and DD were busy for promoting the show in Punjab ? Soundarya and all, so this may explain a bit in stretch of Dipali tracks...

About explaining to audience about all people's questions to Madhu what she feels on the situation, they used Trishna and Dipali again to show the "Dararon ka Rishta" that she feels with RK and that how much he has hurt her and how she cannot trust him. This is what we feel about Madhu, and this is what audience wants of her and that is CVs made Madhu talk about. So AUDIENCE ki JAY HO. You will get what you wanted. Madhu will crusade your war against RK who broke your heart with revenge track on  9th and 11th February.

But surprisingly this "dararen...Kaanch ka tootna, kaanch ka choora" everything of it reminded me about RK's self expressed state of his heart to Madhu over the August bottle breaking spree. This is what he exactly said..."jod sakti ho kaanch ko ?" He shows her all the broken glass and tells her that is his heart and it will be always like that.  Well ...for reasons known to me and which I had believed long time back that Madhu needed this kind of pain to know, this kind of break of heart to know and understand how RK thinks. So finally they are on same plane...just that he has mellowed down over the years and Madhu has it fresh and so her edges are more sharp and she can bleed herself and anyone coming close to her. Quite dangerous...

When Dips was dancing by herself and dancing around RK, Madhu's eyes were not on RK, but only on Dips, which RK saw. I am surprised how RK knew this so accurately that she will not be bothered about him or his doing, but greatly affected by Dips hovering around him. I got to see such a killer possessiveness from Madhu today. And it was like even RK will not be able to do anything about it. Looking at Madhu it seemed to me as if she may not get together again with RK ever, but it was a definite NO NO for any other female around him who can even have an iota of importance in his life. I enjoyed seeing this avatar of Madhu today. I hoped to see it one day and today I got to see it...a possessiveness where she will pull RK aside, make him some furniture or to be dealt later, but a head on collision with the bees that would drone around him.

Best scene of the Day for me was the Dining Table scene where Radhaji expressed her disapproval through reprimanding Dipali and IGNORING Her son RK. She showed him his place. I liked it. Because I was thinking where RK was taking his relationship with his mommy with "Maa aapke liye Chair Kheenchne aaya tha". Now this explains. He wants to bond with his mother, he wants to have his favourite food cooked by his mother. The way he asked "jali hui gobee ki sabji" and the way Radhaji ignored him gives it all away. I liked it so much...finally RK pining for something and not getting it and he knows that reason is himself for crossing the line. He may have left in all rejection and in passive anger and may happily show the elation to his mom again the next day(tomorrow as per the precap scene) that her Ex-Bahu is not there...but the way he is trying to be the center of attraction of his mommy's world was not endearing but so vengeful for me...as if I wanted him to pine or grovel more about it...Will make me so happy with him pining at it...

RK- The Pathetic guy...between his bombastic dialogues and his spirit to win over Madhu, he  chose the wrong party Dips. He is now mired with Dips dirt which till date he was not. RK never looked so disgusting to me until today as seen through Radhaji eyes and her behaviour at the dining table with him and as seen through him talking to her over phone in the precap scene.

The episode was all about TRP pick up points today with CVs all lauding about what us viewers feel and making Madhu our crusader and making Radhaji ignoring the mega-image of RK.

Going for Take 2 - Why RK HAD TO USE DIPS ? Trying to see from CV's point of view.

This is coming after going over with what me and Zoya had been discussing over weekend and last night with Preet and her.

While Preet gave her take on Dips-RK relationship and how Dips comes across to her on TV now...as some boring content where she is better off getting up to go and get some snack, me and Zoya were stuck on how would Madhu react. We both went pessimistic in our predictions though our entire logic at seeing the plotlines were making us go for the optimistic picture. We were mentally feeling like Preet, but unlike her being indifferent to whatever happens to Dips, myself and Zoya were...like something should happen to Dips. There should be a closure.

Over this logic, Zoya said that, Madhu will win the 3 day challenge, but to get into offensive mode for the 27 day challenge of hers, she gets her fuel from Dips drama. I was like, psychologically Madhu already gets the bounce through her 3 day challenge win. The win will boost her confidence against RK and she will switch onto offensive mode from defensive mode that she was in this 3-day survival drama...so why the need of Dips drama. Then she said that people will recognize her aggression in this mode better as people will see that for Madhu now the win is important as she might have been hurt.

I was like   and saying to Zoya...Madhu is rarely affected by Dips. She never said anything to Dips and has only focussed on RK. Now I am all confused why CVs would want it to be shown it in this manner.

In that haze, we both watched the episode today. Zoya got her answer. I got my answer. Preet, not sure...we will know in the night when she comes online with us.

So what did I get. I was super happy. There was a lot of logic used by CVs.

• Earlier Madhu and RK's love story was running. Madhu was not affected by Dips as she knew RK was hers. But AUDIENCE was always in HURT and STABBED Mode that Dips gets to lech RK.
• AUDIENCE was in HURT Mode inspite of the water splash treatment of RK to Dips to mark his INDIFFERENCE to Dips.  The AUDIENCE still felt STABBED by Dips leching RK.
• Now Madhu and RK's love story until today was derailed. We did not much know what Madhu was feeling about RK. Today for the first time we are shown that Madhu is greatly affected by Dips, when she has lost RK. It soon follows that Madhu is in a contemplative mode and as discussed with Trishna, she tells the audience that she now hates RK.

1. So earlier CVs used Dips to have the love story started between Madhu and RK. Now they are using Dips again to start the hate/war track between Madhu and RK.
2. They have now changed 180 degrees stance. Earlier they used to show an affected RK with Dips and an unaffected Madhu. Now they show an affected Madhu with Dips and an unaffected RK.
3. Audience was hurt then and Dips was never fixed. We got interim relief through Madhu and RK bashing Dips in small dozes. Now with today's item song shown to us to show evil minded RK going to any extent of using anyone/any relationship to get his work done makes a mark on Madhu's mind. AUDIENCE is on SUPER-RANT Mode against RK-Dips relationship when infact RK is actually way over Dips. But their rant is that he still bespoiled a Dewar-Bhabhi relationship, which in the earlier track of his good image, he had always kept the Maryaada about. This Maryaada was what had made Madhu always tolerate Dips as she was confident that her husband was on the moral side. 
4. Today, with the seemingly unnecessary track of RK using Dips for his item song, under the belt attack, now gives Madhu the necessary push for her to take up her cudgels against Dips and more so about RK...to pull him down for his amoral act in her eyes if not for the hurt inflicted on her. 
5. Question is why it is needed at all in this manner ? Because Madhu will always fight RK and not anyone else. And audience needs a closure to Dips track, which Madhu will never have the opportunity as she does not stay in RK mansion, nor she has the need to censure Dips drama if RK is all behaving morally with her. Now with the item song drama, Madhu gets her clarity what she wants to do. Essentially she is not doing anything other than taking up the AUDIENCE frustration with Dips and RK and we may get to see her ACID treatment of them...which we will make us happy. 
6. Now lets see the contrast in Audience Mind. Earlier Dips used to seduce RK. RK was a good boy, we used to be sick of Dips. Now Dips seduces RK, RK is indifferent, we are still angry with Dips in the vicinity of RK. We just needed DIPS CLOSURE in anyway it is possible. It could have been RK himself. But seems CVs wanted 50 - 50 distribution of it between RK and Madhu. So one week they show RK splashing water on her face, which since then completely takes away the feel that RK feels anything for Dips. Now they need complete fix with SOCIETAL CENSURE involved. So how do they weave the drama ? They make Bittuji and Radhaji disgusted with RK about the act which is US AUDIENCE and their and our CRUSADER now becomes Madhu whose opponent is always RK. So when in the name of censure of act of the nature of ethical breach has to be shown, they very opportunely turned Madhu into an affected Madhu with Dips, possessive about RK, finding serious fault with him and now ready to wage war with him for loosing even morals to fight against her.

I think that explains today's episode. Like every character is having some change, today they managed 180 degree turn for Dips the catalyst to Rishbala story.

My apologies to all as to why this has to be a long-winded thought process. But it was important for me to understand why CVs built this RK-Dips Item song track when some of the audience (people like me and Preet) were no more getting affected by her and still people like me was puzzled, now that RK is using Dips, it  being the history that Madhu will never tackle Dips, then why a sort of closure for Dips was coming up. That was my gut feel and today I got my answers.

So I will say...Cheers to all of you MBians. Your wish might soon will be fulfilled with some kind of censure coming up on Dips amoral character.

This whole Despo and RK drama is just ridiculous in my opinion. Despo comes across as an idiot like you pointed out Shri.  Anyone can clearly tell that RK is so not into her, the woman needs some clarity. I'm still hoping that RK's sole purpose isn't to just annoy Madhu to the point where this might be the final straw (and I'm with you there as well, Madhu will win) but also because this is part of his plan to finally deal with delusional Despo so she finally leaves him alone. A public humiliation so to speak so that she'll stop bugging him in private.Mind you, the man is so consumed with Madhu that Despo barely even registers on his radar anymore so maybe teaching her a lesson doesn't even warrant his attention anymore. Honestly, Dipali is beyond an annoyance now. I just want her gone. I don't even remember all of her babbling today, I seem to tune out automatically when she's speaking now. It's not like she's introducing any new element to the canvas. Perhaps the Despo monologues in the episode are to provide the audience with an alternative time to run to the kitchen for a snack so they'll stick around during the actual commercials. They do have a new show they're starting to promote on the channel.

Okay Preet,

I was nodding my head at each line. I wanted to bolden...but almost each sentence I agree on. This is what I strongly feel now. And honestly after making that META topic on Bhabhi-Dewar relationship abuse, now strangely Dipali does not affect me at all. Since the day RK splashed water on her face and the way Dips scuttles off like a scurrying rabbit when these days RK shows her way out, I am very relaxed. Nothing bothers me...as I keep feeling that Dipali's end is near and that CVs are sucking out the remnant juice out of her character and she is increasingly becoming a pulp.

Episode 204 Discussion: 25th Feb 2013

A Desperate Rishabh Kundra using A Desperate Dipali !! Now who is the Gadha and who is the Ghoda? Challenge- Day - 3 progresses.

Events of the Episode - Taken from Soundarya's summary on Page 3

• Madhu throws her dupatta at RK, dares him to do whatever he wants. RK averts his eyes embarrassed  at her behaviour and her insinuation. He asks her to leave, she tells him she is not scared of his yelling anymore. He picks up her bag and dupatta, wraps the duppatta around her shoulder, drags her and leaves her outside the studio. 
• RK is disturbed at the turn of events and gets into destructive mode, yells at Bittuji, breaks things around his room. He hurts himself, DIpali walks in, but he shoos her off. SHe recognises his mood and leaves. Bittuji comes in, RK screams at him, the alcohol is not helping, he is not able to forget anything. He has lost his peace of mind and tries to sleep in his father's chair. Bittuji tells him in a whisper, that he has pyaar ka nasha, now sharaab ka nasha will not help
• Next morning, Trishna notices Madhu's torn kurta, suspects that something went wrong, and tells Madhu to count on her for support. 
• RK steps into Dipali's room, asks her for a favour. DIpali is thrilled to bits. 
• Day 3 of the challenge:  RK acts out a Dabang inspector wala scene, lunch is announced. Madhu comes in, they glare at each other. Madhu is called to do the hair for the second heroine, she walks upto the heroine who is incidentally chatting with RK
• Surprise, it is Dipali!! RK leaves them together. Dipali goes on and on, again some boring story about a race between ghadha and ghoda. Madhu keeps mum, retorts once to say, a racehorse ultimately is shot dead when its utility value is zero. Dipali is impressed with her, and tells her there is something in her. Madhu then tells her she's tried very hard but does'nt find anything great in Dipali.

Why did RK say Shut up Madhu ? Nikal jao yahaan se. OUTT. Lol!  What was he trying to achieve??  Koi apne baap ki jaagir thodi naa hai studio ? Silly! Duh!! ROFL!!!

Madhu's sob story - Hmmm! 

Poor Girl!!  Everything becoming Past Tense but summing it up with emptiness !

RK's difficulty - Nasha kyon nahi chad raha ??? (Why I am unable to pass out?)

Inspite of gad gad karke botal se sharaab peena ke baad bhi. (inspite of gulping down liquor from the bottle) Sigh!!! 

Bittuji's predicament - yeh main kahan phas gaya ? (which mess I landed into ?)

has to answer difficult questions of RK... Aww

pyaar ka nasha hai, sharaab ka nasha kaise chadega ? Poor guy!!!  Himmat nahin hai zor se bolne ki. LOL!! (doesn't have the guts to say it aloud)

3rd Day of the Challenge begins.

Now Trishna bothers me. She is becoming SweetNLow.  Four hands together...really??? Can we trust you now ? Whatever!!!  Too sweet for me to gulp it down. On a separate note...Aarti Puri...go for Ginger tea, will cure your sore throat.

Dips and RK scene - Ye Ye ! I know RK wants Dips for winning the challenge. Zipped mouth. RK too bad ...Under the belt attack on Madhu. Haww!!!! Shocked.  But I have full faith on Madhu. Jeetegi wohi challenge !. (Only she's gonna win the challenge). 

Dips is total idiot. Ugh!!!! Look how gluttonous she looks when in RK's vicinity...jaise laar tapak rahi ho ROFL (means the saliva oozing out...well mostly you can see it from a dog's mouth)

But Dips was looking good in the western outfit. Cannot help mentioning it. :)) Don't bash me. Sorry !!! 

Dips-Madhu Scene

I want Madhu to win the challenge. Period. "Madhu, Aise hee date rahna." (in english ...be at it like this). "Pls don't react to Dips. Pleaaazzz. Good going...applause from me.  Be a good sport and keep on the volleying and serves without losing focus. Girl, don't fail me. You need to win !!!! "

It was a yawnilicious episode for me.

Dipzy took 15 mins of screen time... Why-o-why is she given so much footage?

Dipzy-Madhu scenes are getting repititive following the same pattern. First Dipzy starts by taunting her.. then she starts narrating some animal related story... am never able to make head and tail of the crap that comes out of her mouth... Madhu remains silent till Dipzy ends her story and then she maarofies one dialogue.. and in between she sort of handles her roughly with Dipzy yelling out in pain..Last time pulled out nail,today hair...Bored!! 

Can we get better scenes CV's if you can't completely do away with your darling pyaari Dipz? And plz let her be 5 miles away from RK...

Dipzy seems to have a fixation with animals--ghoda gadha,geedad,etc

And what's with her batao na... Always begging!!!

RK- He seems to be running out of tricks to bhagao madhu... Had to use dipzy of all people... Expected better from you... So much desperation!!! Did he actually try to kill two birds with one stone? Beta, Madhu is surely going to win... But atleast Dipzy ki baja do..some sort of consolation for me..

But in all of this, if Bittuji is going to be giving a live update to Radhaji about the item sequence that is going to come up... I will be happy... Radhaji do not disappoint me... Dekhiye aapki bahu kya gul khila rahi hai...

I for one liked the episode since I watched it with an open mind and no expectation whatsover. I really like the idea of just watching the episode aired for the day and not worry too much about the future tracks. I think it was @Shri who suggested that and I kind of decided to stick with it starting today. If the CVs could take a huge risk and convince us with this revenge track then I am pretty sure they would do something equally unpredictable to bring RK and Madhu closer. 

I loved Madhu's determination throughout the episode and it was RK who was taken back by her sheer will and determination. His ego was hit badly today not when she slapped him but when she told him that his high pitched voice does not scare her any more and boldly challenged him by throwing her dupatta in the floor and asking him to do as he wishes. She basically called him a coward for putting up a facade and trying to intimidate everyone by his arrogance, domineering attitude and most of all yelling and screaming at people to get them to be submissive. She looked him in the eye and indirectly told him that she knows him well and what he is doing is not going to make her back down one bit. Clearly, RK was not prepared for this counteraction from her and hence pushed her out and locked himself in. I say it was definitely a victory for Madhu where RK was left speechless and we could see his restlessness in the mansion trying to drink his way through to forget the insult and loss. RK seems to be breaking one thing after the other in anger and at this rate he is not even going to have a chair to sit in his room. I feel bad for Bittuji who is clearly stuck between these two and is a genuine well wisher for the both of them. At some point, he is going to have to choose sides and he will definitely side with Madhu since she is the sane one in this relationship, atleast to the most part.

On a different note, since when Trishna became so matured and is willing put her life on line for Madhu. Is she changed for good or is she happy that Madhu is not happy and hence happy to help her. She sounds genuine but it's just too good to be true. It is all so sudden that she went from hating Madhu to completely supportive of her. I hope that she does not pull another RK. Just thinking out loud here.

Apparently, RK has no tricks left up his sleeve and is using Dips to get back at Madhu. I was upset over the article that said the same but I don't care anymore because RK could bring any number of Dips and clearly Madhu is going to emerge victorious because she knows his antics as she has lived with him long enough. If he is that smart to fake love for revenge, then she is equally smart to understand what he is trying to do by bringing Dips into the movie sets. RK wants Madhu to feel jealous but why would she feel anything when she clearly said that she has nothing but hatred for him. Even if she did, she is not going to exhibit that in front of him or to anybody for that matter. 

Dips was all dressed up and looking posh in her western outfit and I have to say that Seema Mishra looked pretty good in that outfit. She did say in one of her interviews that she loves to pick out her own outfits for the shows and shop for them both locally and in foreign countries if given a chance and an opportunity to travel. Despite her posh, sophisticated looks she has to beg for information since no one was sharing anything with her. She is pathetic when she was begging RK and even worse when begging Madhu for gossip. Dips/Madhu conversation was a bit stretched and it started to get boring after a while.

@Priya, it's mich easier to watch this show that way isn't it? With no expectations. I realize in hindsight that my last post may have come across as a rant, I'm sorry for that. Honestly I'm quite indifferent to Despo and RK as I realize that it really isn't relevant to the bigger picture. 

Thanks for bringing your review over here, I really did enjoy reading it. I had the same though about Trishna as you did earlier. Is she all of a sudden all mature and happy to help her sister because for the first time in a long time she's the one that apparently has her stuff together? Usually she's in Madhu's shadow and now Madhu is in the dumps and Trishna is riding high so she's reveling in this role reversal.

Trishna acted very sensibly  when Padmini was unforgiving of Malik for the RK attack and then when she observed KC for Balraj... It's like, in times of crisis, she rises to the occasion.

And Trishna very much loves her family along with her ambition of making it big in the industry. And as of now, Madhu or her problems, or her decisions are not affecting Trishna or her dreams in any way. So she is providing a shoulder for Madhu to lean on... Only when she feels that someone has become a threat to her, does she become mean and selfish... This is what I feel

I guess I have selective memory when it comes to Trishna. The biggest thing that's been sticking out in my mind is the whole Balraj fiasco and how she dealt with this whole becoming an actress ordeal. The last track was not kind to her character.

@bold - excellent comparison Shri, we all know how much Despo loves her animal analogies lol 

This whole Despo and RK drama is just ridiculous in my opinion. Despo comes across as an idiot like you pointed out Shri.  Anyone can clearly tell that RK is so not into her, the woman needs some clarity. I'm still hoping that RK's sole purpose isn't to just annoy Madhu to the point where this might be the final straw (and I'm with you there as well, Madhu will win) but also because this is part of his plan to finally deal with delusional Despo so she finally leaves him alone. A public humiliation so to speak so that she'll stop bugging him in private. Mind you, the man is so consumed with Madhu that Despo barely even registers on his radar anymore so maybe teaching her a lesson doesn't even warrant his attention anymore. She's just that pesky fly that keeps buzzing around your head. What a change in is attitude towards her, no?

Honestly, Dipali is beyond an annoyance now. I just want her gone. I don't even remember all of her babbling today, I seem to tune out automatically when she's speaking now. It's not like she's introducing any new element to the canvas. Perhaps the Despo monologues in the episode are to provide the audience with an alternative time to run to the kitchen for a snack so they'll stick around during the actual commercials. They do have a new show they're starting to promote on the channel.

Okay Preet, I was nodding my head at each line. I wanted to bolden...but almost each sentence I agree on. This is what I strongly feel now. And honestly after making that META topic on Bhabhi-Dewar relationship abuse, now strangely Dipali does not affect me at all. Since the day RK splashed water on her face and the way Dips scuttles off like a scurrying rabbit when these days RK shows her way out, I am very relaxed. Nothing bothers me...as I keep feeling that Dipali's end is near and that CVs are sucking out the remnant juice out of her character and she is increasingly becoming a pulp.
