My Take
Episode gets a C rating.
Everything of it is Super CONTRIVED Drama. Very poor execution of the separation theme or rather the TEST of LOVE theme.
TEST of LOVE between two lovers is never wrong. Every couple once in a while challenges that, because it feels great to do that, to know how much the other loves you. Its an act of Shringara itself.
So the theme is not wrong at all from the CVs. What is completely wrong is the execution of it. They needed a Dipali to throw challenge, they needed a Radhaji and Trishna for failing the challenge. So the essence of Shringara element is not there at all for each other, but more for relationships they should not be concerned about in their personal and private and secluded moments.
To what extent can writers throw their characters in pits ? Abominable act to
- to show a Rishabh Kundra repeatedly thinking about Dipali. If they needed to focus on his insecurities, why they did not employ techniques of HIMSELF wording the same words that Dipali said. So when his mind repeats the words in MASCULINE Voice, we the viewers will not pay attention to Dipali.
- to show Madhu, who was so GONER for Rishabh Kundra, suddenly remembers her promise given to his Mother, months back, and remembers Trishna's Bad-Dua (Curse). For MAdhu's act there is NO recourse at all, Because, why would a positive spirited girl like Madhu remember Trishna in that crucial moment. Till date Madhu was never shown to be a diffident or insecure girl like RK is. So why the hesitation. And what kind of lesbian tendencies that Madhu has towards Radhaji that she put Radha on a top priority right in front of an ever-ready explosive bomb of her husband. Thinking from my point of view, it is betrayal itself from mind.
CVs,
You may show us n reasons of rationality to accept the weaknesses you showed for Rishbala, but its plain UNACCEPTABLE to create a CONTRIVED drama. It clearly shows, you are running out of tricks, armour, ammunition to keep your story interesting and dynamic. Today, infact it was plain boring to watch the episode. I am not even disgusted or angry to go on a rant. I was just plain bored with your technical attention. The resounding echo of RK's confession...was it needed ? I plugged my ears to stop getting embarrased feelings. And what was that poor editing mix ...spoiling of a scene's aura and build up with rude interruptions of Radhaji-Dipali-Bittuji drama and Trishna-Shamsher-Padmini drama ? And the way you tried to bring TEST of LOVE theme in the romantic story,...were you copying the melodrama of movies from 70's and 80's like teenage love story ? How can a star just leave all his commitments in the dead of night ? Fine the man was insane and testing his lover, no problem...but isn't the purpose of drama also to entertain viewers ? So do you think viewers will buy your ploy ?
Interruption
How can at crucial moment of a Kiss to Happen be rudely interrupted ? Plain unfathomable.
The drama for the first time had become boring to me. This is not good.
The kiss was there behind the parda and as scene shifts. But it was plain rude, not to show the after effect. Rude to viewers, because they made us invest our emotion and then they dash it. Its like buying a bubble stock. All money wasted.
The only intelligent piece of drama was ...Nepotism theme.
Sikky and Kuku had asked lot of times for RK to help Sikky get a film offer.
Now Trishna, who has the mean heart to curse unhappiness for RK and Madhu, now wants Shamsher to go and beg RK for propping Trishna's career. Can anything be more selfish than this. Anyways, I had been waiting for this to occur from months and finally you show it.
Can we hope a lift from this awfully gone wrong execution? I don't think so. The episode goes down in history as a super wrong decision-making. If this was indeed a part of the story, then a higher degree of BAD EXECUTION is attributed to your story presentation skills. Because none of the undercurrents proved that so far. Big Fat Failure...this week has been.
Responded by others towards my episode take.
@Shri: I have to agree about the Dips overlay- that was just irritating- if it was in RK's voice then it could be brushed off as his insecurities, not something Dips planted. But I'm going with the Dips as devil advocate route, which makes this entire thing much easier to bear. But like I've been bleating for the past few weeks, I hope they'll start using others more effectivly and tone down on the Dips drama. her part is done- she has no more hold over RK. So please, let other people come in.
I don't know, maybe the CV's will surprise us going foward.
On RK-Rishabh Split.

Its easier than that. RK is expression and Rishabh is the person that keeps hiding himself. Madhu has seen the withdrawing Rishabh who says to her "mat dekho aise mujhe" and retreats to couch. She called that Rishabh back to her bed as RK with RK dialogues.
No way, the girl cannot know when the man her Pati becomes RK and when he becomes Rishabh. She knows that she loves Rishabh and that the only way to reach Rishabh is through RK as the bridge.
Today her heart would have broken anyways...if RK was using his masculine voiced insecurity and Madhu said RK without her alluding to Rads or Trishna and Shamsher. Its just insulting for the hero and heroine to give so much importance to side kicks when none of these side kicks mattered to them when they fell in love. That's where the execution is all so ridiculous. They forget structure...Sigh!!!
That portrayal of just themselves with their words and thoughts would driven PATHOS into our hearts because then it becomes a real conflict where the RESOLVED Madhu by inadvertently inflicting pain to Rishabh, would still have given opportunity for Rishabh Kundra to truly understand, because she was being true. She loves both the impression(Rishabh) and expression(RK) of her Pati.
As simple as that...and the writers had ruin the pleasure for us...because in coming days, we will be tortured with Dips, Rads, Trishna and Shamsher drama.
Is it just me or anyone else is also having trouble understanding this RK vs Rishabh drama? I mean, to be honest we have not got to see enough of Rishabh nor has Madhu apart from a couple of incidents: his secret conversation with Bappa, his faith restored in Bappa and the lake front scene where he shares the journey of his life with Madhu. I think Rishabh is hidden too deep inside RK to come out so easily. To be frank, I find it hard to connect to Rishabh coz there are so many links still missing. It is much easier to connect to RK the man, if you leave aside RK the superstar. Another important aspect is, has RK fallen in love with Madhu as RK or Rishabh? I believe its the first one. Then whom is he fooling and testing?
@SD:Please share your views on this. I would really appreciate.
RKLover(Ananya),
You would have got my answers by now if you read my posts on page 11. Specifically to Tanu, Charu and Zoya's posts...
Answer is RK has fallen in love, but Rishabh is making RK test Madhu because Rishabh doesn't want RK to lose himself in love as is that possessive of RK for himself and he cannot share RK with Madhu.
What has been happening so far is that RK without any condition is protecting Rishabh and giving to his every insane demand. Rishabh basically wants to twist all RK's good feelings about love and warmth into aberrations like the expressionistic paintings...See Scream Painting, you will understand what I mean.
Now RK, since he loves Madhu, he is also protecting Madhu. And at one point RK will need to put his foot down to Rishabh's demands....like he did after the Party humilation -nafrat drama. Now Rishabh is again rearing his head and RK tried to control Rishabh a lot, but when Madhu failed him...yes Madhu failed RK today...Madhu did not fail Rishabh today, she failed RK, by taking that much time to give her hand...that much of hesitation is enough for Rishabh to raise a noise, which RK will be forced to listen, since he has to be parent to the child Rishabh here.
So after few days of drama, when Madhu's life is endangered, RK will go back to protect her again. And in the meantime, something will sure happen where RK will silence Rishabh against his demands in the present case of whether to love Madhu or not.
Gradually the story will be RK and Madhu together fighting Rishabh. And in the process, Rishabh will get weakened and RK the necessary strength and someone else to share his Rishabh burden.
Have you ever not broken yourself ? As in I split myself into the weak Shridevi and the Strong Shridevi when I was rebuilding myself. I did this after I watched the Challenger/Challenge Movie ...Asian movie with karate or Kung fu as the art used. I actually was so inspired with the movie because it tells you how poised you have to be if you are to win over your enemies and that win just is not about skill to aggression but also a skill to defend yourself, identifying your weaknesses, strengths of yourself and your opponents and strike when conducive. Primarily the vision, the goal of the game has to be defined. So applied this on myself, with actually a detailed strategy write-up in the same martial art style but applied to my life around my weaknesses and my strengths. I needed to protect myself. Basically the weaker and sensitive part will never die and will always need to be protected, but reconciliation is achieved when the weaker just listens to the stronger one instead of being demanding and becoming the ruler of the stronger.
Test of Love - Never wrong to test when you actually love someone or trust someone. Sometimes its peremptory demand from the extremely loved one.
One thing is sure from today's episode, no matter how poorly they executed it by involving clunk plots such Dips entering RK's room to brainwash him and Madhu visiting Chawl to have Trishna curse her and tell about Padmini-Shamsher fallout...They showed that Madhu will love him, but will never completely put him above everything else. She is gonna always fail him and he(RK) will have to keep learning to live with rejection and yet loving her. And Madhu will always fail to understand his need until she realizes that she hurt him bad and tries to compensate that hurt by loving him more.
He(RK) will want her to love him in all trust and she will fail because she will always hold something back from him about her. If you see it is RK who has shared his past with Madhu and she has not shared anything about her to RK by herself. She instead shared with Rads rather freely (that's why I said lesbian tendencies in my Episode Discussion thread), but she doesn't share anything with RK. She only told him one thing...about her biological father who tried to kill her...and later it was RK who asked her for the whole story.
Madhu has problem trusting RK. That was shown this Monday or Tuesday I guess, when she said, "Dhoka to nahin doge na". You cannot be distrusting even before giving the person a chance. That is plain negativity as things doomed for bad. That morning RK was in super goner mood and hence did not get angry, but it was enough to hurt the sensitive Rishabh inside him, had Rishabh decided to raise his head.
Part of RK problem, which was poorly executed today in test of love was that he wants to be himself when with Madhu and hence will not fear to bare his heart and head before her, if he feels reassured by her that he can do it by trusting himself with her. That's where the complex subject of do you love Rishabh or RK. It was executed badly, because the writers can never be sure how viewers will understand complex subjects, so trying to show through RK as the superstar with material wealth and Rishabh as the real man. which is not actually true. RK can be real RK as well.
But that question of "Can I trust myself with you Madhu?" in the deeper sense of Test of Love from RK end is where Madhu failed him today. She couldn't freely give her hand and hold his hand and then talk her objections. Instead she chose to retain her hand, chose to keep quiet, maintain her problems as hers. In Ganesha track too she, went behind RK's back to restore his faith. Her folly almost cost him his life. This secretive missions of her are going to be detrimental to either. In Shamsher arrest case, she went against RK and left the house in dead of night. She landed into lot of trouble. She and her family got saved because of RK. If RK was not intelligent, would he have been able to trust and forgive her ?
When Madhu encounters problems, she won't share them with her husband, when as a wife she should share information with him so that level of trust builds up between husband and wife. Instead she will hide things from him and try to tackle everything by herself. That act would actually endanger her and RK as well and RK will have clean up the mess. This is going to be sore point between them, why Madhu would not trust information with RK ? Illogical she is, and in her illogic she is going to hurt RK a lot. Why he loves her is because, this illogical woman is the only one who will allow him to be spontaneous and not be the RK superstar as she is that dumb and naive to conspire against him.
Madhu needs to learn to share herself with RK along with her duties to others, Please note...Loving is not equal to sharing yourself.
RK will now always have to be careful with her because he loves her madly and can lose himself anytime and knowing that she holds back part of her self, his pride will also get hurt if he tries to bare himself when it is not needed by her. He may trust her bit by bit if she starts to share herself with him. And boy! I have not seen Madhu do it. Not that there is a lot Madhu can tell about her past...but she hardly speaks to him. Does RK actually know who Madhu is other that her being a goner fo him ?
They needed to know each other before they could have fallen in love. Alas, they fell in love without knowing each other. Ab bhugto !!! Now start learning about each other !!!

@Shri - In response to your post for @charu you had mentioned that Madhu has been subjected to the test of love by RK and I understand him wanting to know how far she would go for him. But if we are talking about test for love shouldn't it be for both parties involved?
As far as RK, she failed as a lover and a wife. But what about him? How did he fare in his test of love? The one that Madhu had not given him but still isn't it obvious that she was also testing him indirectly by saying no to going away with him.
Poor Madhu! I just feel terrible for her.
Priya,
No, both parties need not test each other at the same time. One gives the test and other takes the test. One at a time.
If you still want to think if Madhu tested RK and RK failed her...then it is the test for attending dinner. Madhu put RK to a test of love when he was not even prepared for it. She invited RK for lunch, an RK who was in zapped state, in dream-like stupor, while she was all on tentacles and hence apprehensive that he may not turn up...She voiced it..."Dhoka to nahin doge?" The Zapped RK didn't even realize he was being tested. When he was actually leaving the mansion, he heard Radhaji and Bittuji making a big deal out of it, that he in anger did not feel it as test, but just as something that he did not want to make others feel great about it when he was hurting inside. And he remembered that he was being tested with him remembering "Dhoka" and her apprehensive eyes when it was already too late in the night.
In the second context above, I am not with you. She was not testing the way.
I don't feel terrible for Madhu. It was bound to happen. Both have hurt each other.
Its okay, if they both failed each other. Sky has not fallen. They will learn to pass if tested next time in the same manner (not a different situation).

First of all i am glad that you made a separate post . You have written everything so beautifully . I always felt Madhu's trust towards RK is very less . I would not blame Madhu for that . Their marriage happened in unusual circumstances & RK is also very unpredictable . Madhu has yet to understand RK very well . I think now in next Track Rishabala's understanding will reach next level . I think both will start trusting eachother more .
Thank you Manesha.
They trust each other for what they are individually.
They don't trust each other for what they are to each other. They need to teach themselves to become a unit. For that they need to work together by becoming a team.
The reason for them to become the team is what the love confession was about. They love each other to limits. Misfortunately it did not turn out the way each expected the other to respond to their love, nevertheless it cannot be denied that they love each other. And hence they shall be together with the bond of love and they should try to infuse trust in their relationship as a unit now.
You know marriages work more when partners trust each other. Some marriages work with trust and married kind of love. In Rishbala's case, to make things difficult, they have had a marriage that either of them took time to accept. So now they consider themselves married, they confessed to each other that they love each other, now they should know their personalities, accept each other as they are and allow the marriage to function. That is where the conflict is now. Both of them still want to function independently of the other, just because they feel they cannot burden the other for fear of disapproval(Madhu) or unwantedness(RK).
So is the coming up track really about this ? Let's wait and watch.

Infact they are addressing it the right way.
Love and Trust are not the same.
They aid each other, but are not the same.
Love is soft and tensile in bonding. It is endearing and emotional exaltation, pleasurable and can only exert so much.
Trust is about belief, making it work and nothing about softness or bonding. It is strength when present and weakness when absent coz to have it makes one reliant, dependable and confident to care, execute or binds you to execute.
After pleasure and playtime, its always the homework to be taken care of

Wonderful analysis Shri and completely accurate. RK and Madhu's level of love for each other far exceeds their level of trust-on both sides. If RK trusted Madhu to the extent he's been proclaiming to all and sundry he would never have been instigated by Diputz's words and he would not have failed her based on a split second of hesitation.
There is also the fact that I don't think Madhu really believes that RK trusts her and so she does not trust him. Two reasons: 1) You've pointed out the circumstances in which they married- taking into account that and what he did before (breaking her trust via the press conference), those scars will take time to fade. It's a testemant to her insanity that she fell in love with him in the first place, baring his wounds to her or no. As you said, sharing yourself is not loving someone, and is infinately harder. 2) Whenever RK has shared something of himself to Madhubala, it has always been under emotional duress and he has always pulled back from her until she pushes. It gives the impression that he regrets sharing himself with her, and has no intention of doing so delibrately. Not an invitation for a heaping dollop of trust in return.
We talked about character flaws as well, remember? Madhu's has always been that she places others above herself- and what 2-3? months of marriage will not erase that. She placed Mukund above her own family interests, so why are we surprised that she thinks of Radha and Trishna? She will lose those traits as she has lost the others, along with way as she matures.
Finally way too early in the Rishbala relationship for them to trust each other the way both of them need. But I hope this track forces some character growth on Madhu so she can pave the way for a better relationship- a healthy relationship is not something RK can foster in my mind.
Hope this rambling made some sense- can't be as awesome as your post, but you do inspire me to write this stuff so you have to pay the price.

wonderful analysis Shri, not just this one but all the replies too..it was a delight reading the entire thread..
frm this point on, the story will progress in a different manner ..bec. now they r in love and they have confessed their love to each other ! although, RK is angry, and i have no idea where it will lead him , the fact remains unchanged that Madhu is becoming his obsession and it's growing on him day by day..look at the way he scolded Rajesh for leaving Madhu alone and how he reacted when Madhu was about to get hurt with the glass pieces on the floor ! in the precap too, he cud not stop himself frm caring for her...now his love will be with him forever and ever !! he will not let go off her... whether Madhu loves RK or Rishabh, whether she loves him for his money or charm, he loves her frm the bottom of his heart , that should be sufficient for him...therez no way by which he cannot feel the warmth and love frm Madhu's end , it will melt him one day..
both of them working as a team is difficult for the time being..they're already heading for a separation..otherwise how will Balraj cause damage to Madhu and Padmini? Trishna's curse will work for the time being...either he will send her to chawl or she will go on her own...RK will appear towards the end of Balraj track, most likely...the only good thing which they showed is the confession, which will bind them together , whether therez separation or MU ..perhaps the story will be back on track after VD rejoins ..

Why can't our serials be as sophisticated as these analyses? They actually are, I suppose, but the execution inevitably fails :(
Coming to our beloved couple, I read through the thread and am reluctantly coming round to your pov that Madhu needs to open herself up. By the same token, shouldn't RK trust her more as well? He set up a test doomed for failure yesterday (yes it was - he kept pushing and pushing till she said no), moreover a test designed by his ex of all people (wait till Madhu hears of his - the Sherni will really unsheath her claws then).
Then my dear, think hard. Was it actually Dipali who drove RK to confess his feelings for Madhu, or was it Madhu who made him insecure ? Forget what was shown. Feel what you saw the outcome as.
The guy was happy silently loving his Biwi. He had no expectations from her, to love him back.
Then she starts loving him. He notices that, feels it and yet stays or shows as if nothing is going on. But already the pleasure was getting into his head. Then Biwi goes for a sixer with Karva Chauth, a thing he cannot ignore...though he tries not to come for his principles, he decided to go back to her.
So who called him forcibly to her ? Madhu.
Then, they have a beautiful evening. Two people in love...can they really help each other ? No. He still tries to go back to his couch. She manages to keep him by her side.
Who raised his hopes ? Madhu
Then she invited him to a family lunch in the dead of night like to show him off a trophy. Bhai Kis baat ke liye ? God! I could not understand that. Not that I am not romantic. But I just plainly refuse to do illogical things. Then in morning, he is still dazed and she is all serious. She is apprehensive that he may not come. So indirectly did she not put him to test ? And like her he too had not realized that this was his test which he had to pass.
So he failed her test.
By this time he snapped out of love-lorn state and he is actually asking himself, how far he can trust himself with her.
Who has trust issues? Him. Does MB know about that ? Yes. Didn't he tell her ? Yes. Does she have to remember ? No. Can he hope that she understands him ? Yes.
That's where the problem is. Its not just his test to see how far Madhu loves him. Its a test for him to know his THRESHOLD on how much he can allow himself to be exposed to her in this love -- the giving and expectation of the return.
If Madhu has same madness towards his questions and answers just like her actions, then he is validated. But then, there was a mismatch between words and actions. On one side she said, you are my Duniya and on another side she did not give her hand when he asked to come away with him.
If I was in Madhu's place, when RK confessed where the car broke down, I would have been dazed and thinking. I would not have nagged him again to repeat his confession back at the farmhouse, only to hold back myself.
If RK thinks he is jinxed in love and therefore needed to be reassured by Madhu that she will always be with him, whichever manner that essence comes up, and therefore the test of love for his threshold limit of expectation to contain his disappointment levels, to stay in control, MB also felt responsible for all other people other than RK. For her RK was a Pleasure principle which could be enjoyed later after she attends to the cares of the world. She did not realize that infact it was other way round that RK was hurting and he needed her badly more than anyone else, and he rightly said, you love RK and not Rishabh, because the pleasure principle that Madhu felt was from RK persona and she failed to see the other hurting Rishabh, I guess now she understands.
Now the question of Madhu testing RK's love...many are outraged and have said many things...I will say that, RK will always pass in MB's test when push comes to shove. Why because, he does not raise hopes like MB and then he obliges the unsaid expectation...that is his character. RK biggest point of loving MB is that he loves her inspite of her wounding him bad. Please don't think that she does not hurt him. She hurts him all the time, but the guy sees her good intentions and therefore asks himself to let it go.

They should have packed RK's reasons for falling in love with Madhu in yday's episode itself… I wouldn't be feeling so lost today! The impact of those beautiful lines was lost due to the last few minutes of madness. This is a beautiful story so I am willing to be patient… though I would love to whack each character on their head today.
What happened today was sad… one bogged by insecurity and the other bound by sense of duty. Though no one can be blamed, I wish sanity had prevailed on both… but then if the rational mind had been at work the beautiful confession would not have come.
As romantic as it sounds even the thought of RK leaving behind his hard earned success is not done! He might find the entire stardom hollow… but he enjoys his job, doesn't he? So he better not be serious about it. And I just wish Madhu had thought about that when questioned. It seemed farfetched to actually believe RK and Madhu would have disappeared never to return. That is something I wanted both of them to realise which they sadly didn't. Now I really want RK to sit back and think if he wants to leave RK behind? Def not! He might say a hundred things but he is never going to leave Radha to the mercy of the Bhatias and disappear so why hold it against Madhu. I completely understand that he just needed her to put her hand in his without a second thought… I relate to his vulnerability and disappointment…yet I felt he should have trusted himself… trusted the belief that made him stop her from admitting her love because he already knew. I am sure the faith will come back... matter of time.
Coming to Madhu…forgetting what I told RK… I just wish u had given ur hand in his… allowed yourselves to settle down… may be even take a long holiday…but convince him to return. That was not to happen so time to go into damage control. Please connect the dots… Dipali's conversation, RK's disappearance, his confession and his heartbreak. RK loves you Madhu, he loves you for standing upto him, fighting him… so just go ahead and fight. If you love the man, he is worth it.
After seeing this episode… I realised I like RK more than Rishab! RK is much more fascinating, strong as a character. Watching the last scene when Rishab just crumbled seeing Madhu's hesitation made me realise how strong RK had to be to hold fort. It is important for him believe that RK does not only stand for materialistic world… he is lot more. He needs to realise that he has fallen in love with Madhu as RK. You listen to his reasons for falling in love with Madhu… They were RK's reason… not Rishab's. More importantly if RK vs Rishab is going to be full blown track, then in the end I want RK and Rishab as one.
Precap - did he just drop Madhu off at the chawl? If yes, then he better head out to the farmhouse himself. Till he gets a sane head on his shoulders he isnt going infront of Dipali. I wonder how Madhu-Malik interaction will pan out. Will she ignore him ya cry on his shoulders? How will Malik react? stand up for his daughter or his crime robbed him of that right :-s What Bittuji does to save his fave lovestory is to be seen :)
I wish Malik doesn't ask RK for a favour… else this guy will be further disillusioned thinking that people only use him. Trishna, a warning… you don't insult RK's biwi and expect him to grant you a favour.
I liked it when Malik said he believes Padmini will come home someday. Bring on Balraj to get this story moving. However I still want RK to play a part in Malik-Padmini story, if there is any.
This time around a weekend is welcome… the week has been a roller coaster ride… need to cool off to gear up for a not so pleasant week next week.

A bittersweet episode which leads us to the next chapter of Rishbala's love story- what that is, I have no clue.
Basically everything we've been saying over the past few weeks came to the fore today- RK's love is fed by Madhu's, his care is fed by Madhu's- he knows how much she loves him- there is no doubt in his mind now that she has so fervently declared her feelings. I found it interesting that he said that she loves RK, not Rishab- while for us the two have been blending, it's clear in RK's mind that the berlin wall is standing between him and Rishab.
What is even more illuminating is what he said to Madhu: You are my hearbeat, my love, my obsession, my madness. Having given himself over so fully, how can he extricate RK from Madhu now? The look of devastation on his face sent a twinge down my heart, and that's kudos to VD's acting- but I was equally devastated by the look on Madhu's face. The poor girl didn't even get 10 minutes to savor the love confession, let alone the kiss! before the man she loves accuses her of loving his veneer, not him. How insulting for someone like her, who has always looked past his trappings. And now, she'll have to cross that river of fire for him to prove that she loves him- RK and Rishab, not one or the other. Phase two of their love story.
But these painful times will only add flavor to their destinies- however much they want to stay away from each other, however much they hurt each other, they can never be apart. RK loves Madhu. When he hated her he pursued her with a single minded intensity. Now that crazy love is mixed in with that renewed hate/hurt- what lengths will he go to? What will be his goal?
That is the intersting part for me- RK loves Madhu, and knows that Madhu loves RK (not Rishab, whatever, keep you delusions you infant). So what is the next step? Do you punish her for not loving you the way you want her to? How do you punish her? Do you start severing all her bonds so she has no choice but to turn to you? What do you do, superstar?
In Madhu's case I figure she'll be practical- forgive Shamsheer, get her family together, and go back to fixing her relationship with RK. If during the course of this she can smack Diputz around a few times, I won't be unhappy. Again I will reiterate this to CV's if by some miracle they are reading this: her function is done- please start giving importance to other players now.
It's actually very exciting how this track is going to play out- only because I am hoping CV's will not go the cliched seperation route. Please, try something new. I have no idea what's going to happen next. Let's strap in for a wild ride, people. Those are the most fun.LOL
One thing: In the precap, where is he taking her? I like how he now cannot stay away from her at all. The relationship that started from the head has now fully taken over his heart. And he can't cut this relationship because the intensity is coming from both ends- it's not one-sided.
Also- Leela, I know you hate Radunce- I'm not her biggest fan either. But please cut our poor Madhu some slack? It's not about radunce, it's about RK, and healing RK's wounds- think of it that way, it'll help with the blood pressure

Saw the episode in bits and am very disappointed with the accusation of Madhu loves RK and not Rishabh...Even if the CV's wanted to bring in Rishabh's insecurities it could have made sense if it was on the line of Madhu not prioritizing him and giving importance to others over him...That could have went with his possessive streak and needy self...Yes...rich and famous who are always swarmed by people for their selfish reasons could be vulnerable into doubting the intent of everyone even the genuine ones...but,there isn't even a single instance that could make RK believe that about Madhu...It just doesn't add up at all...
or is it that he himself despises the weak and needy Rishabh so much that he thinks its impossible for anyone to fall in love with that persona...hence is justifing that the attraction and deewangi of madhu is for the strong, famous, rich, successful and handsome RK and not for the weak, vulnerable, needy, pitiable and looser Rishabh...did he fall into the trap of these self depreciating feelings...?? but, doesn't he know that Madhu fell not for the jaanwar, heartless RK but,for the humane, heartwala Rishabh who infact has even become the qwaazi and moula for her...The misunderstanding seemed so baseless ... I am only hoping RK would soon realize it and we are saved from this nonsensical torture...
By Hima on RK versus Rishabh
After watching the drama, reading everyone's ideas, analyses and my own effort to try to understand this complex character, this is my take on RK and Rishabh...I hope I made sense...let me know..
RK is the mind and Rishabh is the heart of the very same person...Rishabh/The heart is very deep, intense, volatile and frag ail too...he can't see logic,is not practical and doesn't understand the convenient, necessary requirements or adjustments of life...its even more hard for him in the matters of loved ones...11 year old Rishabh with the heart of gold came face to face with the brutal realities of ife when his father died and mother remarried...the trauma at that tender age left him scarred...he couldn't cope with it,make sense of it and the way he dealt his anger, hurt, bitterness is by closing his heart and giving rise to RK who doesn't posses a heart that beats but, a mind that is logical, shrewd, receptive and not only understand but can even manipulate the worldly dealings...he compensates for Rishabh's lack of self esteem and boosts his ego and lives with pride...now this RK is not a different person...he is another part of that very same boy...the mind minus the heart...he is menacing and nasty and puts up a tough exterior so as not to let even his own thoughts (from his mind) reach his heart (that is Rishabh) in fear that they could turn into tender feelings...This is to protect fragile Rishabh/his heart who knows only to love and feel and has no clue of how to deal or cope with any possible heartache..to let go and move on...
On the party night Radhaji confronts RK and tells him of how hurt his father would be ...the tough RK becomes vulnerable and lets his thoughts of attraction, admiration, pity, sympathy on MB along with his own guilt and sense of wrong find their way in to his heart/Rishabh and makes him go soft on his enemy MB...from then on it was always Rishabh/heart and RK/mind who have been dealing, interacting and reacting to his biwi...In the matters of love his heart/Rishabh overpowers his mind/RK,his logical self and hence becomes very fragile and open to hurt and fear, the result of his past trauma which is left untreated...In the past two episodes its Rishabh who sensed MB near his farm house,it was Rishabh who confessed his feelings, who said he knew of Madhu's love even before she said it loud and its the same Rishabh/heart who gave rise to fear, assumed the worst even before listening, was disappointed, dejected and heartbroken...but,that is all today...tomorrow the Rishabh who could sense and trust the genuineness of his biwi along with RK who is logical are going to fight out the fear and doubt...MB with her endurance, patience and compassion is going to strengthen, blend and bring the balance of both his heart and mind i.e.Rishabh and RK in to one...and that would be the completion of healing of the devastated and traumatised 11 year old innocent boy...

About what RK has done for Madhu, I think he has kept his end of the relationship as far as
"T-R-U-S-T" goes. Not coming to lunch when you have promised to come makes one feel let down, but it's not end of the world. He came for Karwa-Chauth, inspite of ego, principles because not coming would mean not acknowledging the relationship.
RKreminds me of this sentence from Pride and Prejudice regarding Darcy and Wickham - "One has all the goodness and one has all the appearance of it" ( or something similar). RK has all the goodness and hardly any appearance of it.
Reg Madhu, Madhu says He is her Duniya and when he tests it, when push comes to shove, she backs off. The least she could have done is to give her hand and later think on the logistics of implementing it. When someone asks reassurance and it's their lifeline, you don't ponder on it, you just give them the lifeline.

Kodai,
You made my morning. I was not so depressed yesterday, as I got today here and read those last few pages and few pms (some have not decided to spoil the thread with agonized rants). And I was pulled into the pain (very hard), that I steered cleared of yesterday.
All of that you said there, each para grows upon me.
And @ bold ...not just reassurance being beseeched through eyes, but being requested by a hand forwarded. How much more of the need can be expressed so directly and how much more of hold-back one can have at not taking the hand.
Blame the CVs for it ? Yes, I want to. But then really Shridevi!? Do you want to crucify them? Hell No !!!. For at least they broke the bubble between RIshbala. For both the persons since Ganesha track, seemed to be losing themselves, now at least they will go back to what they are and if they still love each other to madness, may as well do something about it. The drama was getting boring anyways with Dipali's induced catalysis. Wasn't it ?

Radha Bhatia ki jai ho.
Even at such a time, after everything that happened, *that* is the first person that comes to Madhu's mind as a reason?
Trishna, Shamsher, they all came to mind afterward. *Radha* first? That godforsaken *promise* to restore him again as son to the authority of that wretched disloyal mother?
I *wanted* Madhu to refuse because RK being RK, there was no way he would be content with bluffing about leaving stardom and wealth behind.
If he said such a thing, he would never be sure of Madhu unless he actually did it and she still stuck with him.
But I thought Madhu would refuse so that she might sort out the situation for Shamsher, without an understanding of just how crucial it was to her happiness with RK that she agree to leave with him right away.
I did *not* think she would be dreaming of reunting mother and son after that mother proved the sort of mother she is after a few months of doting affection.
For God's sake, Madhu, couldn't you please have multiplied that by 10+ and magnified it a bit, and understood the basic sense of letting that promise go in the way that Bappa Himself resolved it for you so that you wouldn't have to reunite someone you love with such an epitome of self-deluding disloyalty?
You brought Radha's son back from death. It is enough.
What a wretched reason to foster misunderstanding. Oh, damnit.
First Radha and Dips were a taint on the entire karvachauth track, and now Radha manages to unknowingly help Dips on the strength of Madhu remembering a promise made when she didn't know that Radha was the sort of person who never stands by 'her adored child' when it's actually desperately needed.
Damnit, RK's insecurity would have worked even if a beggar from the streets had known enough to say exactly what Dips said.
It was never about him proving a point to Dips.
It was about proving to himself that this time the person who claims to love him is true and loyal, not fickle. Not another Radha or Dipali.
And Madhu is everything he has ever dreamt of - loyal, true, and absolutely deserving of trust.
But her flaw is that she is naive. And naivete has shattered trust? Oh, damnit, CVs!
Responded by myself to Leela
regardless of what others say about your Rads dislike, but I am quite objectively reading your take.
Against the contrived edition of the CVs and throwing in Rads in Madhu's memory, as a viewer, I could totally agree with what you wrote there. Because that memory recall from Madhu was nothing short of lesbian tendencies rather than moderate love for a mother-in-law.
Madhu's state of mind was well capable of ignoring her passionate husband right in front of her. It just shows what a strong lesbian that Rads has on her. Everyone here keeps defending Madhu, that initially when RK was the jaanwar, only Rads was kind to her and hence MAdhu's token kinship in that kindred spirit. But now kindred spirit can easily be called lesbian tendencies. A female company is so much better and full of security than a turbulent company with a male. That's half the reason why lesbian tendency stays even when one is capable to get attracted to other sex.
I will not care and just speak my mind. If CVs show this kind of contrived drama, then they have to take my extreme perceptions of it. My husband ,,,or for that matter my brother...how many times, they have not used this word to explain a certain woman's inexplicable liking or care for other woman. And both of of them are of my age ..peers we are. This is the society we belong to.
So writers be careful what they show. Even my mother would not have liked today;s drama..this Rads angle.
