RK-Madhu ki natkhat bhari baat-cheet cell phone par, Padmini ka Daraouna Sapna Balraj Jallad ko lekar, Roma chali BSC Producer pata lagao Mission par AUR Balraj tayyar hua Dulha bankar Apni Biwi ke Shaadi mein jaane

Events of the Episode
  • Cute missing you and hence vexing you conversation between RK and Madhu. Must watch scene for excellent dialogues between the two (ofcourse RK speaks and Madhu reacts. Dialogue writer Raghuvir Shekhawat)
  • Padmini has a nightmare that Balraj has come back to avenge himself. She dreams of him killing Shamsher, herself and finally going to kill Madhu. She wakes up in panic. Madhu provides solace to her mother's tensed nerves at that premonition.
  • Roma, sets off to find out BSC producer, reaches Ratna Studios, the office of BSC Productions and there to her shock, sees Balraj Singh Choudhary. He is dressed as the bridegroom and his men tell Roma that he is getting ready to attend his wife's wedding. Roma is stumped...To be continued tomorrow.

Episode Reviews
By Myself
Wow!!!! Wonderful episode. I enjoyed every second of it.
A rated episode.
Beautiful. I feel so satisfied that my heart is full and I have no words.

The conversation between Shauhar-Biwi will take the honours today from me, because rarely I like the romantic scenes between them. But today that conversation apart from each other took all the performance STRESS away from for the Crew and the actors. The dialogue writer was natural, VD and DD were natural and screenplay was smooth with not much editing fess-ups. Its sad that for the audience, they keep showing stupid hugs that do not mean a thing, but here the attitudes and the talk, that was so much subtlety and fun to watch. As characters today, RK came out a "vexed hubby at his own good acts" but was so naturally expressing everything like a child to his Biwi and with all that attitude. And Madhu was so patient with him giving the bland answers that may have so appealed to her Shauhar. Now this one ...after a long long time was a nice scene with good dialogues and that too without any reason. As in most of the time RK and Madhu have romantic scenes as part of plot requirement to make a progress in the story, like the "sapno ka aashiana" scene which was good. Today's scene was not a dramatic progression requirement, it was a staple scene that needed to be there. And inspite of it being a staple requitement like cereal, yet the crew (writing and shooting and actors) did not mess up the scene. They gave their 100% to it.

The dream...It was an Action Thriller for Me. I enjoyed every minute of the dream. And like all action thrillers, it needs to be watched. Words can never justify action scenes. So I shall stop.

And finally Roma has found out about Balraj. She reached Ratna Studios and wants to meet BSC Producer. And Balraj is all dressed up as the Dulha.  She has been able to see Balraj and she is standing there all stumped at the revelation.   Seems she is on the verge of being caught and locked up somewhere in the dungeons.

Precap...Oh! I can't wait for tomorrow's drama. Padmini is looking so beautiful as the Dulhan.

Enjoy the episode peeps!!!!  Fultoo entertainment.

Where do we see such a convo between a hubby and wife? I loved it and VD,DD rocked the scene.
For me this is real romantic and dialogue writer.

Yesterday we witnessed Trishna's fear of being found out and today it is Padmini's turn. The very real fear of coming face to face with Ballu again is presented to her in her dreams by her subconscious mind. Interesting and strange how human mind works. Makes us face our fears when we are least prepared. Poor woman is devastated in the dream thinking Malik is dead and Ballu has caught hold of Madhu.

Padmini wakes up and goes out in the chawl angan and Madhu happens to wake up and follow her. Padmini relays her dream and her fears to Madhu and Madhu as usual says ha abhi sab kuch thik hoga waigaira. She just sweeps Padmini's fears under the carpet so to speak. Not her fault  since she does not really know or has any experience about Ballu kya cheese hai.  I so wish it was Trishna who woke up and had this convo with Padmini. Then it would indeed have felt realistic,  scene would have had some weightage to it. Trishna could at least have acknowledged this fear in a real sense and consoled her saying ki 'Ma tum ghabrao mat. Woh abhi wapa aye to Madhu ko bachane ke liye ab hamare sath Malik aur RK hain".  Such an emotionally charged scene, I feel enough justice was not done to convey the seriousness of it.

By Tanu
Padmini's dream was elaborate and scary. The scene she woke up from the nightmare and kissed her daughters was beautiful. Then she walked out to ensure even Malik was fine… when she closed the door and headed out, I expected her to sit by Malik. And they have a meaningful conversation especially with just few hours to go for their wedding. But that wasn't to happen. They showcased Malik-Padmini's relationship brilliantly till their confession… after that the couple haven't even had a proper conversation. Even the wedding is from RK-Madhu, Trishna and Roma's perspective and not the couple's. I am disappointed because every like most of the love stories even Malik-Padmini's story headed nowhere after their confession. I hope I don't have to say the same about the protagonists atleast.
Ballu is going to dominate the story for a week or so. No doubt RZ is fantastic actor… but Ballu's dialect and the jarring background music seems to hamper the clarity of Ballu's dialogues. I didn't understand a word he said today except for 'no bak bak'. Frankly not looking forward to recreation of sholay.

It was a very entertaining episode with the right mix of breeziness, suspense, drama and action.

RK-Madhu scene: It has to be the scene of the day. RK was just being his difficult self and irritated with himself for sending her away and hence showing out his frustration to his biwi who indulged him in  his meaningless banter. He did not rest till he bhadkaoed her and got to hear her sherni voice... The dialogues, expressions, everything was just superb...

Nightmare: It was an equally good scene but  prolly the fact that I knew it was just a nightmare stole the thunder away from the scene. But Padmini's fear, expressions were well-elaborated and PP was fantastic in that scene. Finally she checks on both her daughters n Malik and lands up at the staircase where Madhu consoles her. Madhu provides her the much needed strength by chanting the "Hauslon se veer" chant.
I am quite confused with Madhu's expressions at the end of the scene. Did she actually think of the balraj she saw ?

Roma's CIDgiri bears fruit and she lands up at Ballu's place to witness Ballu who is getting ready for his chaudrain's marriage with sehra, ghoda and complete baaraat comprised of gundas...  She stands perplexed at the sight in front of her...
But was finding about Trish's suspicious producer important on the auspicious day of her bro's marriage?

Precap: Complete popcorn entertainment and we can gear up for full-on action sequences for the next 2-3 episodes...

Loved the RK-Madhu scene. Performance, dialogue, reactions, everything - perfect.
The Balraj-in-Padmini's-nightmare scene, I was thoroughly distracted from Raj Zutshi's excellent acting and the spot-on reactions of everyone else by the three women repeatedly doing near-synchronized screams.
The Padmini-Madhu scene was very well-etched.
Roma's focus on finding out the identity of Trishna's producer is admirable, but prioritizng it over her brother's wedding was hard to believe. Anyway, it acted as catalyst to ensure that she saw Balraj.

I too liked the first scenes with the lovely nok-jhok pati patni ke beech (love the way Shri has called this scene as a drama staple - like cereal! ) RK reminds me so of a little boy who is just beginning to understand the scope of what he can get away with in terms of romantic play.  And the dinosaur walla lines!  So cute.  I know I have sometimes complained that the romantic scenes get a bit too chasni-jaisi-mithi, but it does not strike me as at all odd that a couple would choose to look at the moon as a way of being together. This is actually quite  a common thought in India - even Sri Ram and Sitaji have done this! It seems a lovely thought; it doesn't remove your longing, but at least you feel someone (chandrama) understands and is shining the same light on your beloved.

So many have mentioned Roma (Leela also commented that it is strange she would be jasoosing all over the place while it is about to be the shaadi of her brother) I just love her character right now.  Even with her family obligations, she smells a rat and is chasing it down like a protective girl-on-a-mission.  Sometimes, even when the baraat is coming down the street and the shenai is wailing away, if you feel your family is in danger you are still going to keep that thought foremost in your mind - I think that is Roma right now.  I wonder if Ballu will notice her?

Well, I guess action shuru ho gaya - this Ballu is a skin-crawl-inducing madman and Padmini seems to scent him on the wind.  This is the sort of plotline which has dismayingly and repeatedly proved to me what an incredible wimp and coward I am.  I know these are the most exciting parts of any action-filled drama, but i usually can only watch them through my fingers while I am curled up in a self-protective ball. (My poor husband has spent two or three entire films in cinema halls where I have buried my face in his shoulder and refused to come out for half the film!  (Maybe I should introduce him to RK's dhobiwalla - the one who recommends tears for shirt-laundering.  My husband could also benefit from this very economical system!)

Knowing you all will be watching too will give me himmat to keep on - I will look so forward to reading all your analyses!

By Myself
@Ballu's dialogues. Even I had a problem listening to the first part of his dialogue delivery thru Shamsher. At first I thought my speakers were bad. Then I recalled the SBS video that I watched this morning and pieced that Raj Zutshi is not clear himself.  Its just that in the scenes today, he was too passionate in his anger where he was mincing words...like it happens in real. Look at his quivering lips. I could understand all the dialogues...like Saand, bak-bak and all...it was good. I should say he was too good for TV soap. His kind of acting and dialogue delivery today needs absolute eerie silence like he can get in movies. Anyways, as RZ's days are numbered, let's enjoy him as an actor with caliber.

@episode scenesAnd last but not least, like the way some of you had hawk-eye for details/bloopers/puzzling expressions inspite of the entertaining episode; lets add another one...though this shouldn't count at all in my eyes...In dream sequence, they had Madhu, Padmini and Trishna sleeping in this order whereas when Padmini wakes up, they had the order changed.

Another scene I liked was, when Padmini says she will sleep on the floor, both the daughters in chorus say No. And how Padmini was taking Roma's name for help. When she was coming out of the Apt, I though she was coming down to Roma for consolation as she is her best friend...but she sat on the stairs instead and our heroine had to be the consoling one.  Feel terrible that all soaps and movies make the heroine shoulder so much responsibility. And here we are thinking that Trishna or Roma would have suited better to console Padmini. Seriously why waste actors and characters when they fit the bill. Why just make the hero and heroine so MAHAAN for everything. Sigh!!!

Episode 175 Discussion: 22nd Jan 2013

Are Trishna?! Tune hameh bataya nahin ki tujhe movie ka offer mila hai, woh bhi heroine ke role mein ? Kaun hai Producer ?!!

Overall a dramatic episode...Action has started. B rated episode...as in average, but then if you miss it, you will miss action. so peeps you cannot afford to miss it.

We can leave RK-Madhu romance. But if you want to watch them, then the only purpose should be to get ready to feel the pain. Because everything they do or speak, it comes and gets stuck to the point of Saat Phera marriage. Anyone talking so many times, just makes you ask, is it actually gonna happen. I don't know how all the viewers feel. But ask me, absolutely crap scenes. I am like, can we spared of this romantic crap, where they just wanna behave like two virgins on a mission.  Its nigh impossible to fathom that they can just stop themselves and that too with that semi-marriage. If you are able to stop, then why start it like idiots. And if you have to show the drama anyways, then we can as well flip channels and take up some other work. May be this kind of build-up in drama generates a lot of TRP...I don't know for sure...so would like to see how this Tuesday fares in next week TRP rating...

Khair to dilute my above opinion, a lot of other drama started. Interesting Highlights are:
We had Trishna shaking everyone's wits including her family and RK-Bittuji.
We had RK checking on Balraj
We had Balraj getting ready with his plan. Kill RK first and then his daughter Madhubala.
We had Roma snooping on Trishna's secret producer.

Trishna and family with regards to revelation that she has received a bouquet from her producer BSC Productions. Don't even ask, why no one including RK did not wonder why Balraj would send a bouquet to his heroine at his residence rather than at Trishna's residence. Also I don't understand, what could be the ulterior motive for BSC to send bouquet to Trishna at Sangeet function at RK mansion, when Balraj does not even have any plan for Trishna. If you ask me, it was just a clunk plot to have all drama started around Trishna and her movie offer and whatever tadka/spice it can add to the upcoming drama.  Purely contrived scene for RK to know that Trishna has not revealed to her family that she has received a movie offer.

So if I ignore that and let it go with flow, then; the whole family is beyond belief that Trishna hid something as big as her break for becoming a heroine. The family would have nagged Trishna into telling her about the producer, just that RK saved her from further prodding, as 1) that ugly drama need not happen at the Sangeet ceremony 2) He himself is puzzled at Trishna's behaviour and wants to save his ass as well.

Must watch scene. But problem is Trishna scenes are dispersed throughout the episode. So you need to watch the entire episode.

RK after sending off his Biwi to her maayka to be with her mother for shaadi arrangements, was looking into business affairs with Bittuji, but we are shown that he is stuck with the thought as to why Trishna would hide about her opportunity and why was she so scared. Scared himself that he might have caused inadvertant mess, he himself places a call to Balraj Choudhary to check how his film is progressing. The conversation between the mentor and new producer, does not go constructively, it just seems too vague and likewise the conversation between the damaad and sasur from Balraj's point of view also doesn't go well. He is plain angered.
The interaction ends with RK telling Bittuji that, somewhere something is going wrong and there Balraj at his end welcomes his goons who brought weapons of destruction for him, pistols/guns. And Balraj reveals the plan that he will first target RK and then Madhu.

Finally we had Roma starting her investigation on Trishna's mysterious producer. With the pretext of showing Mehndi pictures, she steals Trishna's mobile phone and manages to get the producer's number. This inspite of the fact that Madhu interrupts her investigation. Now with this I can piece the fact that Balraj's surveillance man did not take Roma's picture. So seems Roma is the one who is gonna alert someone in later on drama.

The filler scene of the day
Dipali and Sikky scene - yet another nag from Dips and another dry day for Sikky. I am absolutely bored with this scene. How many times are we going to see the same scene ? Sigh!!!

The precap
Seems someone is dreaming that Balraj has come to shoot the whole family and since Shamsher was first one attacked, definitely it is Padmini who is dreaming.

Note:
In all of this drama, only two people are absolutely happy and have no clue what's gonna hit them. And that is Madhu and Shamsher. Both these people do not even feel any vibes, like everyone else is feeling. If you ask me, very interesting characters to be chose for that platitude and placidity before the squall approaches.

Ishqwala love ke beech mein kameena wala promise yaad aa gaya but anyways RK proved to Biwi that he is no jogi!!!
Ballu sends a paighaam in the form of bouquet to add the Ballu touch in his chaudhrain's sangeet..
Family starts playing KBC  about the details of the producer with Trishna on the hot-seat but RK becomes her lifeline saving both their asses...
RK tells madhu: tick tock tick tock... Gear up for the best times ahead.
But I would say... tick tock tick tock... RK, your life is once again going to go out of control..
Roma detectivegiri par utar aayi and on the pretext of engaging everyone with the mehendi photographs, notes down the agents number..
RK's instincts jaag gaye  and he knows that somewhere something is going very wrong... bachcha yeh pehle sochna chahiye tha na...
Anyways Roma and RK are too late in averting the disaster...
BSC is going insaner with each passing day and doesn't like that he is being bossed around by RK... He plans to first make his beti vidhwa(when did the plan change)and then finish her off...
Dipzy-Sicky : It's the usual ghisa-pita bedroom scene of theirs...
Precap: Is it Trish dream or Padmini's dream?

Zoya,
My flying kiss. There's no icon so have to write ! Loved the racy humour throughout ...

Ballu touch, khud ka hi nuksaan kara gayi. Damaad (RK) ko pata chal gaya daal mein kuch kala hai. Auntyji (Roma) besabr ho gayi and nikal padi khud ke tehkikaat mein
Plan change hua jad damaad ne badtameezi se baat ki Ballu se.

That just means that he can change plans any minute. Wow, we are all gonna aboard Ballu's rollercoaster ride.
Look I don't mind the rollercoaster ride, but I want Shamsher and Padmini to be married. Period. Phir chaahe Saas (Padmini) jail jaaye ya phir Damaad(RK).

Now my next post will be a serious one...

Wah ladies - only page two and already there is so much amazing analysis here! I really enjoy reading this thread so much each day.

This epi gave me pet mein dard, and at first I simply could not figure out why.  I am perhaps not much prone to clunky romance so was not expecting much from dori scene - quite a hackneyed device in any case. (It seems nobody in any soap is serious about the dori unless the heroine is already horizontal.  Agar standing hai - nothing is happening, pakka.  I suppose one is meant to swoon simply by the implication that the hero is asserting his haq, but since the foregone conclusion is that her breath will come in heaving sighs but not much else will occur, this is usually a good moment in the show to check on the (cooking, baby, husband, studies, email...fill in your blank).)

And do not even get me started on the line about RK gift-wrapping himself. Hai rabba.  The dialogue writers need coffee, stat. Two cups each, maybe, as I am also laying the blame for the watch-walla dialogues squarely at their feet.  Yet Tanu may be right, hai na, ki that watch may yet figure in somehow. But the lines...that loud thud you heard was the plot clunk throwing itself from the roof in desperation and meeting pavement at full speed.

I think it is a nice touch that they are making Roma the crime scene investigator - she is an interesting counterpoint to Bittuji - these two seem to know what is going on beneath the surface and don't hesitate to act upon their principles.  Shayid they may yet join forces.  Their intelligence is different from Dipali's.  She is devious and sly, but focused on such a narrow monomaniacal goal; she undermines herself.  Bittuji and Roma are clear-eyed; they act for others by putting two-and-two together.

And I so agree with everyone here who is pining for Dipali and Sikky to have more to their story than just the fact that he is the joker and she rebuffs him. At that rate, they could just be comic relief on some old epi of Dekh Bhai Dekh.  I wonder, will the Bhatias be activated any time soon?  Kukkuji seems to have an almost masochistic ability to bide his time.  Well - waiting and watching there, doston.

The last thing I just wanted to mention was that I think the treatment of Trishna's character is very salient and subtle.  I know she herself has not appeared in the most flattering light, but the writers in her case have made the past history of abuse most real and relatable.  I pray that no one here has known abuse in your life; I will just say that if you have known it in any significant way, it haunts you forever.  You can move past it, think through it, change the path of life, yet still its echoes hunt you down.  you can never be fully rid of it.  That is why I think the CV's are right to show her weakness and confusion, and are spot on in putting the hateful fear of it into dream form (for Trishna or Padmini? Not sure which.) - we are not in control when we dream - our worst fears, even those we think we have laid to rest, can force themselves relentlessly upon us who have tried so hard to sidestep them. In this sense, I think the writers' treatment of Trishna's and Padmini's seemingly strange behaviours vis-a-vis this tyoe of fear is far more subtle than their treatment of RK's history of bitter recrimination and heartbreaking loss.

Just my few thoughts, ladies   Look forward to reading your further analysis!!

Responded by myself

Bhakti,
Excellent analysis there. Agree on all the points.
So you have told me that 50% TRP actually will fall from a house-wife point of view, if filler/ predicable romantic scenes are shown.

The last para ...about the mind-set of the victim...the haunting memories. So truely spoken. Those memories will never go away until they try to address it instead of escaping from them or burying themselves in sand. The way Madhu keeps saying, soch ke kya faayda...she doesn't know what she is talking. What Padmini and Trishna actually feel is more real. So Padmini trying to do something about her fear is comprehensible. I just wish Trishna too does something to fight her fear...so far..she is only rationalizing that she is taking that man's money...for her dream...but them my mind wonders...will her dream outweigh her fear ? I asked this question earlier as well. And still I don't have the answer. What I am 100% sure is that if on that day Trishna had refused to sign the contract, Balraj would have done something to intimidate her and she would have ended up signing anyways. I actually wanted that to happen...instead of the freaky scheme of her signing for her dreams and then refusing to brag about it at her home, as per the present plotlines. Psychologically it doesn't ring a bell but then I am not a psychologist...so will leave that and just review as dramatic output and returns.

By MarathiMulgi
Very commendable analysis about victim mind set. Looking from that angle, I think some of Trishna's behavior can be justified or rationalized (maybe). Actually I am sympathizing even  more with Trishna and Padmini than before. Compared to them Madhu has had it easy through out.  Their characters are somehow turning out be more realistic than Madhu's.

For Trishna, however she tries to repress these memories, they are actually paralyzing her common sense completely. On top of that she has no one (even a close friend outside of her immediate family) to confide any of this,  no other outlet to talk things over with anyone. How very tragic for her.
I wish she had taken a chance and trusted RK to spill her guts about everything since her encounter with Balraj. Even though at that time she was angry with him and not on talking terms, she knows that he is powerful in ways she is not and he could have helped her. You guys will laugh at me for saying this but  you know what I think, when RK found out from Madhu about Padmini and Trishna's ordeal, before he put in the prastav of marriage for Padmini, he should have arranged for a therapist or a psychologist for Trishna and Padmini. Agreed it would not have gone too well with the storyline and TRP would have hit rock bottom but nevertheless...In my mind that would have helped them immensely than anything else.
Well, I am not a psychologist to understand the unfathomable depths of the human mind.
Poor Trishna - Her dream to make it big in film industry is once again dashed...

nice post. ya in case of trish-pads case they knew it ballu was alive n wat if some day frightening past comes n stand before them,it's undescrible. whereas in rk case his dad is not alive n it's painful past n can come over it as in present wat they shown in rk case.both in cases they can't do about past  but in rk case rk has chance n can move on n live in present if he lets be bygones n can live present peacefully but in case of trish-pads they didn't ve any news of ballu so it's natural for them to be in confusion n fear to live in present peacefully n poor trish to pursue her dreams so hard for trish n her luck didn't favors her everytime

Trishna and Dreams Vs Family (Junior Artist aspiring to be a Heroine)

And really someone was saying...Shamsher and Padmini were looking so beautiful. OMG, I am gonna cry, if they don't get to marry. God!!! why do they have to make Padmini shoot Balraj and end that shaadi drama...Couldn't the hungama have started after Padmini and Shamsher's marriage.

And honestly no matter how RK-Bittuji and Trishna have been instrumental in getting Balraj hungama done, I so wish no one is crucified. Please how is Bittuji and RK to blame ? And Trishna, poor girl, how many times she is gonna see failure and rejection. At this rate, she is going to be depressed.

I have one complaint with CVs for these three characters.

If Sikky, Dips and Trishna have served their roles, then they need to be retired. If not, then they need to have growth in character.

Sikky - we have seen that is a product of Kuku's rearing. Sikky as a child/son and husband is not that bad. Why should they lampoon him so much, instead of building a story later in the story?

Dips is far too intelligent for Sikky. Can she ask for a divorce so that Sikky atleast gets a chance at better marital life with some other woman and Dips gets to pursue something else in her life. Many starlets later on find different ways for survival.

And Trishna, she loves the family. So inspite of the jealous nature, which actually never goes away, but can her insecurities instead of being fanned by her family, can she be asked to grow over them. And please will the family stop treating her dreams as nothing ? That's what is irking her more. Comparitively, RK's insecurities are being cured by Madhu and her parents, yes their lectures have helped him, but the three were outsiders, Likewise Trishna should get an outsider to get treated out of her insecurities. Can she get some friends ? And as for dreams, only Roma and RK are concerned. But that is just a plot requirement, not in real sense.

Actually in real sense, wven Sikky needs a job, so does Dips needs a job.

Replied by Zoya
@Trishna: Everyone who thinks and dreams of making it big in the industry do not end up doing a film. Each day hundreds and thousands of people would be flocking the various studios, casting directors, etc but all do not end up with a role in a movie or show... Only a fraction actually get a role and only a fraction make a mark and get recognized... Trishna just needs to keep trying and  keep facing rejections till she either strikes gold or if that does not happen, she has to make peace with it and move on in life... And this Balraj spelt doom from day one...

Padmini is of the opinion that junior artistes can never make it big in the film world and hence being a typical mother, she wants to see her settled in life. She prolly doesn't want her to become another Roma who is still single and finds solace in alcohol. Roma had malik, the girls, padmini but what about Trish? Pads, Malik and Roma are not going to stay with her forever and then Madhu is happily settled in her own family life. Padmini is a woman who believes in "chaadar jitni ho, tang utni hi failani chahiye" and hence trying to be realistic. But at the same time, no one  is  dissuading her. They are just going with the flow and not giving her false hopes and making her fly higher... Roma has already done enough of that... And if everyone starts giving bhav to her dreams, Trish would start doing her manmaani...   It's quite a natural reaction of a middle-class family though they belong to the film industry. And it's not like Trish has exceptional talent...

And even now the family has every right to be apprehensive and grill Trish with questions as to the who and what of the producer and the details of the movie...It's just that they would be bothered about her good, safety and she has not been lured by a wrong man or into doing wrong things.. It's very understandable.. And it is upto Trish to put all their fears to rest patiently which in this Ballu's case, i don't know what she would do...

Madhu and Trish: There is always a disconnect between the two sisters... They just carry on with their lives, are good to each other till the other does not cause a problem and both are least bothered about the other's happiness or dreams. And most importantly when they are pitted against each other, one sulks n the other lashes... It is basically their  love for Shamsher and Padmini that binds them to each other and remain cordial.

By Ananya
Padmini's and Trishna's character are far more realistic. Trishna-a girl with dreams, ambition and passion to make it big in Bollywood. We know thousands of people struggle each day to get that one break and are ready to go to the extremes of the world to achieve it. Her jealousy and hatred towards Madhu, after Madhu's marriage to RK, is again understandable to an extent. Because, to be frank, it was Madhu's vain righteous belief that started it all and wrecked havoc in their family. Sibling rivalry is quite a common aspect in family issues.

Coming to Padmini, she is a victim of domestic violence and much more, with her husband going to the extent of killing her while she was pregnant. While I am not sure about about the killing aspect, I am pretty sure all of us at some point in our lives would have encountered a women affected by domestic abuse and violence. It still is so much prevalent in India.

Critical Analysis on Trishna ko Heroine banao Track...by RK

It started with the seed of repentence from RK when Trishna through her curse reminded RK that he had destroyed someone's family in his revenge plan and after that has set out to enjoy his happiness. It might look very bad that Trishna cursed her sister and her husband, but standing in her shoes, it does not look that bad and seems something said in total anger. Otherwise, how would all this FIXING BROKEN RELATIONSHIPS would have started.

Dips through her Test of Love, established RK Insecurities that need to be fixed, which kind of planted a seed in his superstitious mind that he needs to sacrifice his present affluence and prosperity if he needs to have love that he aspires for. He plans to go away somewhere with Madhu.

Madhu's hesitation and later Trishna's curse revealed to RK that he needs to take care of Madhu's family...the problems of Shamsher, Padmini and Trishna. Roma doesn't have any problem...well the story writers chose to leave her out of this. So RK set out for reconciliation between Shamsher and Padmini by asking forgiveness from either of them for all his past revengeful behaviour and requesting Padmini to consider forgiving Shamsher for attempting to kill him as he has forgiven him understanding the father's concern to protect his daughter, who also happens to be her daughter. It was a mistake under false assumption, nevertheless the intention was honourable as father in his eyes. Soon we see that Padmini and Madhu forgive Shamsher, which them soon has a follow-up with proposed marriage between Shamsher and Padmini as they love each other.

Throughout, RK is dreaming that he will finish his rest of three pheras with Madhu to complete his marriage with Madhu, right after Padmini and Shamsher are married. And then he is getting impatient to leave with Madhu after getting married. (The repeated use of it is making me think...he might he just planning a Honeymoon trip)

Now that brings us back to his plans for Trishna.
He started a project for her. When Trishna backed out of it, he forced Balraj to get her sign the project. And Balraj did that and along with that his vendetta planning has started...

And infact today's bouquet sending of Balraj was clunk, but it was instrumental for RK to know something is wrong with Trishna's reticence, making him check with BSC, only to make BSC irate and change his plan to make RK as his primary target in his vendetta plan. Well, in parallel, the bane has got a boon as well through Roma. She is getting to bottom of things.

So Trishana ko Heroine Banao track, other than RK repenting on the consequences of his revenge game, is primarily to know Madhu's past, face Madhu's predicament through Balraj. And since he happens to be Madhu's husband, he is inadveratantly becoming a target for Balraj. Its like 22 years back Shamsher helped Padmini, now it seems RK is becoming Madhu's saviour...and yet nothing seems to be finished...all that Fixing of Madhu's family is back to square one... A big gaping Hole for all of us to wonder where is this heading.
  1. What would the daughters of Padmini do after Padmini gets arrested for attempt of murder or for having murdered, even in self-defence.
  2. What would her Daamaad do ? will more remorse get added ? His repentence reaped this problem. But then would anyone see the rationale that it is not his fault to begin with and he has been a pawn to emotionally driven circumstances.
  3. What would Shamsher do for Padmini ? His daughters ?
  4. How would the Bhatias react to this fallout ?
  5. What would be Radhaji's reaction ? As a moral voice, she was willing to discard her DIL Madhu when she found out that her father tried to kill her son. And now what ? Her son is safe ...so is she going to lose anything ? Anyways, she was the one who instigated Padmini to go against the Shaitan (Balraj).
With all the Balraj hungama, Reconciliation and Fixing before Leaving track is getting failed. RK's plan of Let me leave my stardom and take you away from here dream is gone. Saat phera marriage dream is gone. So what is it leading to...will he take the blame ? How is it even possible to take the blame ? What would be the fallouts ? Will Madhu leave RK for hiding the facts about his promoting Trishna's film ? How will that even help her or her family. But in reality...again seriously how is RK even to know that Balraj was Madhu's father.

And seriously in all of this landscape, where is Trishna ? I am trying to locate her as a small speck and even then she is not visible.  Not that I do not trust the CVs for their writing skills, but I am just wondering, almost every drama, track seems have been written for RK's confrontation with Balraj leading to confrontation with Madhu. Poor Trishna, Poor Padmini and Poor Shamsher, in the name of Fixing Madhu's family, they end up getting hurt more and more...Sigh!!!! Why is Madhu such a sore pain to them...But then, until Balraj was dealt this sword would have always hung on Padmini and Madhu. So good that Padmini deals with that. Hope Madhu and everyone appreciates this gesture and may be a new beginning whichever way it dictates to people, it starts.

  • The only thing not present in there is ...that ...Roma thanks Padmini for coming into their lives and taking care of them all and now marrying her brother.
Episode Reviews
Drama packed BALANCED episode. Each and every scene well constructed and seamed together. I give an A rating for this episode. Because nothing was forced on me, nothing was loud and it smoothly flowed.

The scenes played out were:

Madhu-Rishabh Kundra over their bed
Continued amour filled dialogues between husband and wife on bed, leading to the mutual challenge between each other, who is going to be the first one declaring his/her feelings for him in the upcoming Sangeet event of Padmini and Shamsher's marriage.

Kuku-Sikky-Radha-RK long scene - towards Reconcilation/Healing of Rishabh Track
The much needed amicable denouement for viewers with constructed scene where Kuku and Sikky get relegated to the status they should always been in Rishabh Kundra's life. Rishabh is now able to tell Kuku and Sikky that they are nothing in his life and that they are worse than furniture and his servants can throw them out of his life when he wants to. He is able to tell the duo right in front of his mother, when the duo act smart and try to instigate her against RK's decision of having his in-laws getting married. And further when  Kuku insults or rather tries to boss around his wife by throwing away the pooja ka prasaad ka thaal (that too Mohan Kundra's barsi waala). Rishabh not only protects his mother against the hurt generated by this gesture, he takes care that his mother is respected. So he tells Kuku to pick up the plate, thus showing his clout and power and how the duo are useless to everyone, including Radha Bhatia as now Rishabh Kundra, her son can take care of her. The duo understand the changed dynamics between mother and son and Kuku lifts the plate. RK sends them away saying its Sangeet Ceremony in the evening and they are not invited with heart, but still as they cannot be helped, they can enjoy.

Rishabh-Radha New Dynamics Agreement scene
This follows with Rishabh-Radha scene. The son tells his mother, that she no longer needs to force the Bhatias relationship on him. And interestingly Radha is okay with all that. She gives a smile.

Chawl - Marriage Preparations and Balraj's surveillance
There at Chawl, Balraj has sent a man to keep a watch on Padmini, Shamsher, Trishna. He clicks pictures and sends them to Balraj. In this way, we are shown how the Sangeet and shaadi preparations are going on and how Shamsher still has monetary issues like the way it should sound for the ordinary man like him, Trishna overhears and wants to help. She does pay the money to supplier/contractor for the balance amt. Roma is shown to be very happy about all this. Interestingly, the man sent by Balraj has not clicked Roma's picture. Seems there's a motive for the CV's to keep her out of the wedding hungama.

Balraj's state of Mind and his place - Still the Mad Man
When pictures are sent to Balraj as MMS by his stationed man, Balraj in rage almost strangled his tailor to death, who was checking on the outfit that he had stitched for him and had indulged in unnecessary non-sensical talk about wives. I don't know if the tailor was dead or just fell down in ...fainted state...

Madhu-Radha Scene - towards Let's Leave Track
Radha tells Madhu that Rishabh called her his Maa. Madhu is super happy and secretly saying to herself, all reconciliations achieved and now me and RK can leave. Wow!! she is so excited.

Best scene for me was Rishabh and Radha Scene though the Kuku-Sikky getting BBB'd was also awesome. Rishabh-Radha scene was best because it had the best emotional liberation through the Best Dialogue of the Day.
"Maa, Main yeh samajh sakta hoon ki, aapne doosri shaadi kyon ki. Par ab mujhse, inhe izzat dene ke liye aur meri zindagi mein ek naam dene ke liye, Mat kahiega"
Through this RK has addressed his problem with Bhatias to his mother herself who gave him this pain. So he released all that pain with this reconciliation where he gets what he wants without losing his mother and not feeling burdened with false family respecting traditions. Its plain honesty, NON-NEGOTIABLE TRUTH for him, which his mother has to agree because they both have suffered for it for the last 17 years.

Bravo to the CVs for giving me the best dialogue and best scene today.
