The promise - Reciprocate to my heart's wish and act upon your heart's say. Peace Prevails for the viewers.
Events of the Episode
- Madhu is totally confused at this confession and asks him, "What is he saying ? What is he ? And what does he want ?" RK answers her back furiously that, "how the hell does he know that ? She has to know that about him"
- Madhu finishes the drink and through the game asks RK to tell her how many lies he told her. RK answers only one and that is that he doesn't have a heart. He asks her to listen to his heartbeat. Madhu then asks why they he lied to her ? How could he destroy the love they had ? all the promises that they gave to each other ?
- RK grabs on opportunity and speaks on renewing the promises again. He asks Madhu to come back into his life, to live with him, to fight with him and to love him. Madhu refuses and says she can never go back to him and also asks him never to ask her to return. RK asks her even if he asks for her forgiveness ?
- Madhu gets up and goes away from him and tells him that even her sister had asked the same questions to her. She tells him that she will never return to him because he broke her trust. And how can she get back her belief now. RK agrees that she is right and accepts that he broke her trust and her heart. And he wonders aloud, what he is going to about that now !!! What should he do now ?
- Madhu, who is listening to this in seriousness, turns towards him and asks him to hold her tightly in a tight hug and promise her that he is going to listen to his heart from now onwards. RK swears his promise and beckons her for the hug. Madhu happily walks into his arms and gives him a tight hug, RK too holds her tighty. Madhu breaks her hug and touches his face, kisses his hand, likewise RK touches her face and again hug each other. Beintaha song is playing as BG sound where the crooning is about the female singer asking the male singer to take her in his arms and let her sleep into night until dawn.
- Now we don't know what happened, how it happened, but we are shown that RK has brought Madhu to his bedroom and drops her on the bed...with a little bit of prattle between the two about taking care of her. RK after covering her with the blanket, settles down beside her under the same blanket. Madhu asks what happened to the pillows wall. He replies that the pillows are gone for good. Then RK switches off the lights. Remembers that Madhu cannot sleep with darkness. Madhu says, its alright as she does not fear darkness anymore. Both doze off with right in middle of their sentences.
- Its morning and Madhu wakes up with hangover headache. She is shocked to see herself in RK's room and sees that her hand is locked in RK's hand. She is shocked to remember the actions committed by her and RK in the night. She grabs her bag, forgets her dupatta and runs out. Radhaji sees Madhu running away.
- Madhu reaches Chawl to an upset Padmini, who chides Madhu that she did not even care to inform her about the night shift she had. And that if Bittuji was not there, she would never have known it.
- Trishna asks Padmini to give a rest looking at Madhu's exhausted face. Trishna has her breakfast and leaves. Padmini askes Madhu where is her dupatta. Episode ends.
Episode Reviews
By Myself
It was Madhu and RK talking today.
RK started coming in front when Madhu started asking him. The questions that Madhu asked were meant for RK and so he answered. I think you all agree that Madhu tricked RK and made him answer to her.
The gist of RK-Madhu talk was that they love each other, yet Madhu cannot ever trust RK for what he did to her, how he broke her heart, that she will never ever return to him even if he asks her to come back. RK accepts all that. And yet he wails out what is he going to about it and what should he do now. Madhu, who is listening to this in seriousness, turns towards him and asks him to hold her tightly in a tight hug and promise her that he is going to listen to his heart from now onwards. RK swears his promise and beckons her for the hug.
I liked this scene as it was a promise of hope again for Rishabh Kundra, Madhu, their love-story and for the viewers. It was not just about Rishabh Kundra listening to his heart and deciding the course of action, it was also about listening to his heart's reciprocation to Madhu's heart (hence the hug, the holding of each other tightly) and deciding the course of action.
As for the rest of the drama building, they beautifully wove it keeping the suspense element intact by playing Beintaha song. Beintaha song is playing as BG sound where the crooning is about the female singer asking the male singer to take her in his arms and let her sleep into night until dawn. Now here the hug happens. Madhu happily walks into his arms and gives him a tight hug, RK too holds her tighty. Madhu breaks her hug and touches his face, kisses his hand, likewise RK touches her face and again hug each other. Now we don't know what happened, how it happened, but we are shown that RK has brought Madhu to his bedroom and drops her on the bed...with a little bit of prattle between the two about taking care of her.
So this episode was the promise for future course of action for RK and the drama for the coming week.

I take back what I said about this being a pointless track. While I still don't like that all these have happened while they were intoxicated, but I was fairly surprised today by how this track made me feel in the end. No, it was not an eyeopener for me like it has been for many. But now I realize that the track was not needed for plot advancement. It was for our emotional comfort. And somewhat for RK-Madhu's too.
The first 10mins of today was in continuation from last 5mins of yesterday. RK and Madhu having a heart to heart. And in my opinion, that was genuine. What looked a little offbeat yesterday, was in perfect sync today. RK's honest confessions about how he thought he'dfeel and how he actually feels right now was something we're well aware of. Nonetheless, it was heart-wrenching to hear him say it because it made him so vulnerable and helpless. The ego-maniacal man was reduced to tears hearing Madhu say she'll never come back to him or never be able to trust him. Madhu turning back around and asking for a tight hug is what surprised me today. She was always in love. She melting at the sight of his breakdown was expected. But asking to be loved - that startled me.
Not complaining though because this was the hug that every people in this forum have been waiting for. When it happened, I phangurrled for a few minutes too.
Here's what my issues with the track were plotwise. This was a pseudo reconcilement track in disguise. For a few seconds there, RK/Madhu also thought they have reconciled. Hence, Madhu says, "Hum ghar aa gaye?". RK tucks her in and sleeps by her side, like nothing is wrong in the entire world. People usually speak their heart or blurt out the truth when they are drunk, but the bottom line still is, they are not in their senses. This will not count because first, they'll refuse to acknowledge the friendly act when they sober up in the morning, and second, there's a fat chance they both will twist this into drawing a disgusting conclusion. Worse will happen if they don't recall the conversation in its entirety.
But as a bereaved viewer, it was such a pleasure. Confirmation of their genuine love for each other, opening their heart up to one another, RK spreading his arms and taking her into the embrace when she runs upto him and not letting go, lying down by her side without any hesitation and drifting off to sleep with her fingers entwined with his - yeah, that felt like freaking rain in the desert.

Great review! I guess they're giving us a psuedo/temporary/drunken reconciliation so that we know where each one stands in their heart of hearts, and are setting the stage for the new guy's entry.
I hate love triangles, I do understand the need for a third person or antagonist to move the story along (Deepali's character is spent, imo), but still, I hate triangles!

@pnars - Why the tears? You yourself said that a new entry is needed to spice up the existing track since CVs have stretched thin the character of Dips. They got rid of Ballu so soon and hence we don't have a formidable antagonist at the moment. Of course, we cannot count Kukkuji and Sikky as anything but clowns. So, think positive it will all be good because this new entry regardless of whether he is portrayed good or bad, the show will always be about RK and Madhu's love story which is exactly what the dialogue writer of the show said in his interview. They love each other way too much to stay separated for long and even if they do they will rush to the other when one finds the other in trouble or is in need. As I said in my post, sometimes a relationship has to end for the people involved to learn the lessons that are most valuable. This especially holds true for RK who as Madhu put it could have had all the love in the world but he just ruined it with his own sweet hands. He acknowledged his mistake and admitted his folly in a drunken state but he has to come to terms when he is sober as well and that is going to take some time with his giant ego coming in the way all the time. If it is anything, I think that the new entry will play a pivotal role in bringing them closer, atleast make RK realize what he could have had and what he had lost just because his ego wouldn't let him have it. Hope my post makes you feel better!
