Chan se jo tute koi Sapna, Jag soona soona laage
Events of the Episode
- Madhu who has listened to what was being discussed between RK and Dipali, that she had topped in the exam taken by RK about whether Madhu loves RK or Rishabh and how she is ready to leave everything behind...is shocked to know that Rishabh tested her. love. While Dips smirks at her win, Madhu is seething in anger and pain at this. She gives him her piece of mind telling him that he is wrong to test her or anyone as he is no judge of anyone. She goes on to say that he holds grudges unnecessarily against his parents when they did not abandon him but had to do what they had to do for their own tight spot situations. He needs to accept and move on. She ends her lecture saying, how can she now trust him that he loves her.
- RK unable to answer her, ashamed of causing hurt to her, he leaves the house, drives away. He is upset and keeps thinking of how Madhu was upset and what she all said, including things about his mother.
- At night when wind is blowing, the photo frame with Madhu and RK's pic falls down in Padmini's room. She gets nervous, but Shamsher comes and comforts her saying only frame is broken, the photo is still intact and good and he can get it fixed tomorrow.
- In the wee hours Radhaji goes to temple for her ex-husband Mohan Kundra's anniversary. She prays to God and thanks him that person such as Mohan Kundra had been able to spend some time with RK as his father. And these days, her heart indicates to her that her son may again call her "maa". Then she thanks to Ganesha that all this has been possible because of Madhu who came into Rishu's life. She asks Bappa to take care of them.
- RK who is driving mad, meets with an accident. Episode ends.

Episode Takes
Very gripping Episode high on emotional angst.
Three things to say
1) Lets see what else Madhu will realize. She was like "Dil ki saari bhadaas nikaal di" with all her anger, when she was the one who kept sacrificing or making space for RK. She was the one who allowed "Pushed to Wall" to happen. And her logic was ...not that its my nature...when people love the other, they tend to give themselves away...This is 100% true...I agree. But at the same time, Madhu should know, the man allows her to yell at him. Does Madhu get the same attention from others ? As in will she be able to yell at Trishna like this ? What will she call that ? She calls him judge and now she asks him, "do you think you are a judge?" Will the Hum Hai Deewana song lyrics for her change now ? Hope sitting there she too realizes how she wants to take this relationship forward...a lot of shifting in the relationship just happened and both husband and wife have to realize something out of it.
Well, I happy at least Madhu angrily said without taking Dips name that "how could RK test her at her behest when he hates her and she has deceived him." That must have put him to shame. It should. I was so angry at that illogical thing from RK in the first place.
And Take home for RK...Don't take Madhu's words at face value from now on...She might say, I did all that to please you, not that I like it, I played along because I love you that much.
I said the same thing to my husband in one of our emotional confrontations, he took my class and said, why would I do that and not be honest and say I can't play along? Why would I do something that might be just forcing my heart on something...He said lets discuss love later...but first things first that ... he cares that I need to be honest and not do anything that I might regret later or lash out like this. May be all women make this terrible mistake of accomodating and adjusting and giving in too much, can't help it. It was a painful moment for me. My heart broke too at his hardness...there were lot of reasons... and things did change in paradigm manner...but then one thing one was clear to me...I cannot or should not play along today if tomorrow I will retreat when it becomes too much. Brutal truth...love is there or love is not there...ultimately its us who make or break the relationship and relationship goes on...break and fixing keeps on going on when you want to go on...you make space for the other anyways...
2) Second thing...Drinking now when driving that mad did not make sense at all. RK was so disturbed, he was in a state to just drive and not take a bottle to drink to forget...he needed to think...that part was wrongly portrayed. Even drunkards know when they have to drink... !!!!
The obvious clunk had to be there that it has to be Mohan Kundra's death anniversary and perhaps RK also gets to go to same temple. Or am I thinking wrong.
3) Third thing ...well wishes...liked that Padmini and Shamsher had better Pic in the photoframe of RK and Madhu at their home. And the parents concerns and loving words soothed me. Even Radha asking about their well being with Ganesha was happy to see. Its like receiving your mom's call the next day and asking "is everything all right?"
Plotlines and Story
Liked the dramatic content of the episode today, but much of it was predictable for the plotlines and required dynamic shift towards story development and may be partly to cover VD absence (8 more episodes to go until Ballu gets the chance to create hungama).
Over character development - Both husband and wife have shown lot of immaturity around the Test of Love induced by the SIL Dipali Bhatia. RK buys his SIL's gameplan and his Biwi today shows to him as if she felt belittled by her because RK tested at her prompting. And I am like Madhu...since when you developed that sense?!
But then I have a BIGGER MENTAL BLOCK to even SWALLOW that Madhu does not feel a tinge of anger/possessiveness/pride/self-esteem at what Dips does to her and her husband...since Dips introduction. Then what right she has to take her husband to a moral stand that he tested her as if all her self-esteem is lost that she failed.
I mean Madhu, when did you show that you have some pride left in you? You take the shit from Trishna, Dips but always give it back full to this man called RK. You say he insulted you so many times. Was it when you had hate marriage ? Or was it when you started accepting him as is ? or was it when he started supporting you ? or was it when you started loving him?
What prompts you to always be prodding him into doing something. [Now this plotline...is a lil bit getting boring to me...it reminds me of GB Shaw's "Man and Superman". It is the woman driven Lifeforce all along ! Its like Strindberg's "The Father", where the woman can manipulate any result with the drama or emotion she creates around her man. Atleast Shaw entertained me with his hero accepting what his woman does to him and how he has to surrender to her.]
The moment your mother gives you sanction to take the marriage forward, you went ahead and fell in love with him in full swing as in in your imagination, you asked him to love you back. How healthy is that ? How about just asking once..."RK's what's the current relationship between us ? You claim before everyone that I am your wife inspite of the 4 phera marriage. So can I truly go ahead and act as your wife ?" How about that logic? [Not unbelievable from a 22 yr old girl. She is already close to being a Post graduate ] Nope! I cannot expect that else, how will the junoons come up ?
And Rishabh Kundra, you had it coming. Like an idiot, unable to control that Dips factor. What did I call you then ? Sexually undeveloped person..."The boy trapped in a Man's Body". [I have several posts, so I will not bore the readers with my links.]
My friend Peach called you "The boy is the father to the Man" albeit in much sympathetic manner.
Having made much of an ado of your parents had been your undoing...you had to go and talk to two women...your Dips and your Madhubala Rishabh Kundra...difference being one you made a rishta from your heart and other you made a rishta from head. Wish you had stuck to the rishta from head and never listened to your rishta from heart and all this testing would not have happened.
Well !!! You do deserve the lecture your Biwi gave you regarding your parents today for becoming the 12 year old Rishabh and asking for her love rather than just being the 29 year old RK and just maturely behaving and living a fruitful marriage.
Didn't I tell you Zoya, this Friday I think...that all in all these days, it was Rishabh who was executing the drama...that I stopped seeing RK. But then I always wanted Rishabh and RK to be slapped out of his failures. Not that I don't agree on Rishabh's hurts. I agree, but I wanted him to move on...I wanted him to grow up. I wanted the reconciliation between Rishabh and RK which was not allowing him to function properly. I wanted RK to be slapped for pampering the Rishabh inside him. So I was telling you all along, this is just fixing track...The past needs to be burned...
There ends my scolding ...So Madhu was the wiser as always...big picture when it comes to getting thru to her husband...she always says RK and she always chose RK over Rishabh...like when she said...its not my nature to cry and weep with you, just that I loved RK, so I played along with Rishabh.
Dammit!!! Why did the dialogue writer not add RK versus Rishabh in Madhu's dialogues today. It would have made perfect sense and foil to Rishabh-Dips drama with Madhu just addressing RK what an idiot that Rishabh is....end of the matter whether Madhu loves RK or Rishabh.
Poor RK...he is always sandwiched between what he wants and how Rishabh keeps rearing his immature head
RISHBALA -Next phase of their relationship
Anyways...I rest my case here saying that...though Madhu's lecture for Rishabh Kundra the person that she got married to was good, but a lot of the things she said to him there was way OUT of LINE. Everything that she said can be answered back and I am just waiting for more to be revealed. Hope both the characters learn something else other than just loving ? I mean they always trusted the other person for what he or she is and can do...but now if they learn to trust themselves as a unit, and let no one play with their relationship, that shall be a treat to see. They need to respect each other as their partner from their vantage of a couple in love and not just respect each other outside their room. The symbolic nuisance of the pillows wall still makes them two islands. They can respect each other into not trespassing the limits even without those pillows. So far I see more distrust from Madhu's end regarding RK (Dhoka to nahin doge dialogue yaad rakhna sab) with regards to their marriage and hesitation from RK towards Madhu to honour the marriage because the way he married her has created a lot of shame and guilt in him, which he just covers up with his attitude.
So the next stage for them is to respect each other as their life partners and build their relationship with the love they have for each other. The very first respect for their marriage or love by either of them will be reflected if they handle Dips factor who had openly disrespected their marriage by repeatedly calling Aadha adhoora marriage, 2 kaudi ki madhubala, 4 pheron ki Biwi or 4 pheron ka pati. And this should be achieved before they even think of going for a saat phera marriage...because RESPECT from OTHERS comes when YOU HAVE SELF-RESPECT for your marriage or rishta whatever it is. And both the individuals never ever cared to show the respect to other in regard. Neither RK showed full respect to his marriage by not making a public display of the pillows wall nor Madhu showed Dipali the way out of her room. Her husband and his status was clearly at jeopardy and Madhu had no pangs...all this because, marriage with RK never mattered to her. So ENOUGH of LOVE and START SHOWING RESPECT to YOUR MARRIAGE.
That's another matter, if you want to dissolve it...! Dips is sure gonna be happy
@Zorica, Nice poster on Page 5. That was the only line,"What should I do now?" I was thinking about for the whole day for either of them...and finally I penned down that they need to respect their relationship and not make a butt of ridicule at the hands of their enemies. They both have been immature.
Can you read my post on page 6 and tell me if you agree ? Remember the story construct I charted out on Friday...I precluded all of this drama when I put up the IV phase of their story as Loving and Respecting Each other.
I deliberately did not use the word Trust because they do trust each other, but they are unhappy like this today, hurt and broken because they did not respect what they had. Madhu is trying to fix him, heal him...okay good gesture, but why was she not making any effort to add respect to her marriage, the way her mother guided...step by step. If as a wife, she took advantage of her husbands's support for her to drive away Dips from his life, she would never have had let his husband fail her like this. For her to heal him, she did not have had to become target of Dipali, which her husband always was protecting her from...like being thrown away from the house, getting himself seduced or protecting the sanctity of their bed or trying to put an end to Dips poisoning Madhu's food. Madhu let all that go and even now she is worried about him and him testing her but not how they both have become a joke at the hands of Dips and that too continuously. She accuses him of distrusting her, but what about asking him once, how could he disrespect their marriage.
And Rishabh did already make that mistake by listening to Dips.

Shri,
If I may add something: I do not think Rishab was not able to appreciate what he has. From the moment he declared his love to Madhu, many things have changed. He did a lot for her, he is careful, he respect her, etc..
Remember the fear in his eyes at the beginning of the episode.
He was scared that he might lose her. For me this was the strongest impression!
That was love and regard. I am not saying he did not appreciate what he had. I am saying he did not respect what he had. Appreciation comes from heart when kindness or pleasure is felt. But respect goes from Head and later it gets ingrained in heart.
What about the respect for Madhu as a person, as his wife and not just his lover. He tested her love as a lover. If he was thinking as husband, respecting his marriage; would he have made a public display that their marriage as not consummated, or even allowed any other woman to talk about his wife? Some things need to be kept private between husband and wife...atleast when you both accept your marriage. When in hate marriage, he could not allow anyone to mistreat his spot girl cum wife other than him, just because she is his wife, when he could doll up her in good clothes, then why when marriage is accepted, a public display of pillows wall on the bed and allowing anyone to enter their quarters at any time.
If you think I am nit-picking, then you remove Dipali induced drama and show new drama. But if Dipali was instrumental in all of this, then she is the reason for them to accept themselves as married and yet unable to honour it in order for her to keep taking advantage of that fact. That is only reason that gives power to Dipali.

Re. RK-Radha patch-up and Madhu's involvement in it...
I agree with everyone's concern here regarding the RK-Bhatia dynamics. Infact, all these valid questions have been plaguing all of our minds since the day Madhu has involved herself in trying to bring the mother-son duo closer...
After a lot of ranting, discussing about all this in the previous EDT's , I can only try to provide some consolation based on the way Madhu has behaved in the past... All of it doesn't really answer the questions we all have, but atleast I have come to terms with Madhu's behavior...
And the fact is that Madhu is Madhu.. Madhu sets a goal and bluntly, obtusely starts achieving it without bothering to find the nitty-gritties or even understanding the delicacy, underlying emotions of the situation/task at hand...Shri has beautifully explained about Madhu in her subtleties of r'ships post...
Let us revisit the past...
She did it during the blackmailing with photograph incident too.. RK conceded to apologize rather than divulge info regarding the sentiments behind the photographs... When she came to know of it later, she was only filled with remorse... This truth and along with the studio night spent together, had changed her hatred to dislike for him.
She did it during the Bappa track.. Thankfully everything turned out well in the end... It was basically a one-sided human emotion involved. But even then, she managed to put his life in jeopardy, though inadvertantly, and she felt guilty... But ant bhala toh sab bhala..He patched up with God and all was well...And most importantly,at the end of this track, her feelings for him changed...
She is now doing the same with Radha too.. RK knows she is trying to patch him up with his mom...He has just told her that she got remarried when he wanted her the most and hence betrayal.. He refuses to divulge his pain for 17 years, the details of the Bhatias, etc and is conceding to patching up with his mom rather than divulge info... A day would surely come when she would understand and most impotantly feel the real extent of his pain his mother's remarriage has caused him and that day she would yet again be filled with remorse and guilt. RK would only rise in her eyes and her love for him would only increase...
And lastly,Madhu discovers something new about the man she loves with every situation and predicament she encounters and the result is always savory for both her and him, though the ride is bumpy...
