CVs to Viewers: Triangle hai Per Villain ke saat Nahin. Yeh Triangle hai Ahankaar, Dil aur Muhabbat ke beech-Suniye RK ki zubaani

Events of the Episode

1. RK continues with his triangular Filmy story, with heroine spending her time between Hero and Villain, until the time Hero really gets frustrated and helplessly asks heroine, whom does she love? Heroine was going to answer when Villain comes and aim gun at Hero's temple. He ends the story with quite a build-up with end being Hero shot dead. Madhu and Bittuji look scared. RK asks Bittuji to go to a writer to develop the story informing himm that the concept is based on the real life incident.
2. After Bittuji leaves, RK bares his heart to Madhu. He shows her how she brought in Sultan into their private relationshio of Ishq, Junoon and Mohabbat. He tells her that after his revenge, he sees that she is totally indifferent to him and is moving on, moved on with Sultan whereas he is totally affected by her in every manner, as she has conquered him body and mind. His heart instead of giving heart-beat says Madhu-Madhu. MAdhu listens to it all, but is giving inscrutable looks. He goes on to tell her that when he saw her with Sultan, he had the urge to use his gun just like Sultan with only difference being unlike Sultan, he would have wished to kill Madhu for deceiving him in love followed by shooting himself for having killed her. He tells her that later he thought deeply on the matter and laid aside those morbid thoughts as he knew, she loved him only and only he had the right to love and desire her. That even if he loves her or not, she will always be his, forever and cannot belong to anyone. RK hugs her forcibly and Madhu is giving disgusting looks. 
3. RK recovers a little bit after that. Walking away from MAdhu he reminds her that in principle, villains always have to take the defeat from heroes. He also asks her to call her Mother and ask her not to send Sultan as her bodygaurd or well-wisher. 
4. RK gives an interview to a reporter where he declares that him and his wife Madhu are back together. Later in the studio, he finds that Madhu is missing. Observes that Madhu has left her phone behind. He says he knows where Madhu must have gone and rushes to Chawl.
5. There at Chawl, Trishna is trying to contact Madhu and sees to her luck that Madhu is actually walking back to Chawl. She intercepts her and asks her what's going on. She asks him is she is back with RK as Dips informed her. Madhu tells her the events and how RK took Madhu forcibly with him to his house. Trishna asks Madhu is she has forgiven RK. Madhu says no and that she just couldn't get out from there. She asks Trishna to trust her and also take care of their mother in her absence. Trishna promises her support.
6. RK barges into Chawl, and knocks the Maliks door calling for Madhu aloud. Padmini opens the door. RK asks where is Madhu to which Padmini replies that she is with you at shoot. RK says she was with him and now gone missing from studio. Padmini does not look concerned. RK is surprised that Padmini is not upset when he gave the news of her daughter missing and he suspects her answer, expresses it out and asks her if Madhu is with Sultan. He asks for Sultan's address, Trishna says, she doesn't know. RK asks Padmini to give Sultan's telephone number. Padmini is silent, then RK grabs Padmini's mobile and calls Sultan. Episode ends

Was a good episode.  But honestly, I could not guage what is Madhu thinking or going to do.  I am totally CLUELESS. 

Madhu's lecture to RK is still pending.  Sigh!!

It is really a story of dysfunctional people but who have a very good hitch on life. They do know how to survive blows that life gives to them.

[ME]: Madhu in tears as the movie end has the hero (RK) killed. Its like for the first time Madhu is understanding the implications Gun-toting, getting killed, Real Life Incident and Publicised over movie (unlike her Chawl drama, which she forget so soon).

Is it CVs way of showing, how that gun toting is dangerous game ?  Did Madhu actually regret like that? Or I have just imagined it in my head ?

[ME]:  Rishabh Kundra showing to Madhu a situation where if she was unable to stop Sultan, what could have happened?

Does Madhu realize what Rishabh Kundra is hinting ? Her expressions are still inscrutable as wall. I cannot make Heads or Tails or her expressions 

Kaayde se dekha jaaye toh Heroine toh Hero kohi Milti hai aur Hero se his pyaar karti hai,   toh phir is Villain ka Role Itna Bada Kaise ho gaya

[ME]: Now this should hit Madhu hard. Did it ? oh! I am still clueless

It is RK's way of hinting to Madhu, you indulged Sultan too much, becoming lax about some ground rules (basically voicing viewer concerns).

[ME]: My dear RK, was it the occassion of him dropping her at the chawlgate ? or was it when Sultan took your wife with his hand on her waist ?  

So you had this much anger, that you wanted to kill her... how could you control it ? Oh! Maybe that's why you had the guts to go to Chawl and wait for Madhu's return. 

But still...how and when did you let go the "heat of the moment" anger ? So it never occurred to you that you lost rights over your Biwi and Madhu had to remind you to keep your anger in check. 

Seems you do have your intense angry vents, but will not go for killing...or will you? In Balraj's case you were ready to kill him for what he did to Madhu.

Par Phir socha, kyon karoon mein yeh sab ?

Tum to mujhse pyaar karti ho, Tumhe chaahne ka, Tumhe choone ka haque, sirf mujhe hai. Aur kisi ka nahin.

[ME]:  YEY !!!! See !! HE is Now asking for her reassurance that she will not let him down.  Poor Guy !!! realizes that he cannot do anything without Madhu's support.

[ME]:  Now what was that ? Googly dialogue !!!!  How is he planning to keep her with him, if this kinda situation arises again ?!! So he knows, nothing is well between them, only VILLAIN=SULTAN issue has been discussed between them...and there are 100 other items to be discussed now.

Thank you Shri!  Those dialogues were quite something, weren't they.   Seeing them written with your commentary really did bring out all the nuances versus watching them being spoken with the inherent distraction of focusing on the characters' expressions, setting etc.

Am really intrigued by what Madhu actually took away from all this.   She was listening for sure, but her expressions were either inscrutable or unbelieving/disgusted?    And then because today is Saturday (cliffhanger day) they purposely edited her conversation with Trishna so that we really have no idea what she made of all this.    She can be in no doubt though that the man is crazy about her.  Even if at the end he said, "whether I love you or not"'. Each and everything that he did say before pointed to the fact that he does.

So Madhu is now figuring RK out, the other piece is that RK is also going to have to figure out who the newly evolving Madhu is.   Interesting times ahead.

Hey, 

No offence taken. That was just my commentary there. Everyone has his own interpretations. And I appreciate it that you chose to tell me. Because I liked yours too. 

I actually (inspite of my sarcasm there) felt that through Tadap khatm ho jaana, RK meant Madhu's indifference to him and his antics. I took it as like, desire, being affected and so lack of it translates to indifference

Because his Holi moments follow his "maine bahut socha...aur tumhe chaahne, choone ka haque sirf mera hai...

You are very right and I get where you're coming from... 

 Ok.. This is why I  told Holi moments...

He comes a lil nervous,pensive only to the chawl... He then witnesses a few happy moments b/w them... He drops the hand full of gulaal and goes away in anger... And then this phir socha can come(as in he reminds himself) ... so he returns with the dhol and gulaal colored face...

Do you think this cannot be taken into consideration as well?

Line of the day was "You slapped me, I slapped your heart and broke it"..something along those lines. What an equation! I guess, when she slapped him, his monstrous ego was bruised. It is so big, that his bruised ego = her broken heart.

Rest was OK. Trishna was surprisingly mature today, wonder if they're evolving her character? It was slightly nauseating to see poor old Bittuji kicked around like a football - just another day for him I suppose.

But mainly, Madhu remained as opaque as ever today. We got no insight into her brain. She looked stunned, upset, determined. 

What is she thinking? What is she planning? Where did she go (probably RK Mansion)? 

To seek the answers to these questions, watch next week.

My speculations -

1) She has asked her Didu to take care of her mother. So she's estimating/anticipating physical and probably mental separation from her mother for some time.

2) She realized from RK's monologue that while he does love her, his ego is the real haddi/third wheel/man/villain in their relationship, not Sultan or Deepali or anyone else. So her war is with his ego. "I may or may not love you, but you're mine - you cannot love anyone else"...he's baring the workings of his mind before her. The possibility of him not loving her will always be there, the possibility of her loving someone else must be eliminated!

3) The "Taming of Rishabh Kundra" begins from next week.

Loved your review. Very matured.  I love these kind of reviews. Adds fuel to my imagination 

Isn't it quite dangerous to show the other person how your mind works ? That is RK. He is self-proclaimed "Whether I have heart or Not, I don't know" guy in this PHASE II of the love story. In phase I, he used to be heartless guy. "Mere Paas Dil Nahin Hai"     Madhu already identified his EGO (Ahankar) as her enemy post revenge. And on Drunken night, end of February, Madhu asked RK, that he needs to listen to his heart. And that means a lot of story...first to have RK know that indeed he possesses a heart of his own...

And isn't it quite dangerous equally to show how you wear your heart on your sleeve ? That is Madhu.  She is now self-proclaimed, "I may not have a heart like it used to be before" in this Phase II story.  And RK keeps reminding her that she cannot lose that heart of hers while going down under her showing her how his heart instead of heart-beat says Madhu.

• There is Me, There is You...and Third Person was Mohabbat. Ever heard of that ? Its another way of saying Cupid struck us.
• Tum mere Dil-o-dimaag mein Chaa gayi. Mera Dil Dhak-Dhak ke bajaaye Madhu Madhu karta ha

This is what he said when he asked her end him by giving the knife. That she needs to end his love story, him as his blood which is given by her just calls out her name.

Ahaan! Redemption from you after yesterday's takkar is sweet  Glad my review fed your vivid imagination...

But seriously, I felt today's epi was more well-knit than yesterday's. The way he talked about his madness for her "...I felt like killing you, and then myself..." - chilling. Such an all-pervasive love! It can turn controlling, claustrophobic, unhealthy if Madhu does not rein him in.

She is the stronger person in this phase of the relationship, imho. He has handed her his view of the relationship, now she can do with it what she will. Will be very interesting to watch - and I hope, with the evolution of their relationship, we see growth in her character as well. I, for sure, would like to see a Madhu who thinks things through before barging into people's lives and making friendships with gangsters.

 But where's the spice or story in that, right?

Ok, I'm going to be bashed for this. I have a different take on today's episode. It looks like I am completely the oddball here. 

I'd always wondered if that fantabulous love confession RK made to madhu in the farmhouse was staged, then what would his real love confession be like? i thought today I saw a love confession, of course immediately his ahankaar qualifies it saying, I may or may not love you... but he says my heart goes Madhu, Madhu, Madhu, not dhak dhak dhak. H said he felt like killing her, and then would have shot himself to punish himself. Twisted completely..how do you resolve a complicated loverboy like RK? 

has Madhu figured out? She knows she loves him,  he loves her, will not admit it. She may not be planning revenge, but definitely plans to teach him a lesson in her own way. And somehow, my curiosity is piqued about how this is going to go. 

• I liked madhu-Trishna's conversation. 
• I liked how RK still calls Paddy Sasuma. i thought she would object, but she did'nt !!?? Then what's the problem? What's all the fuss about if everybody accepts the relationship for what it is?? 
• Though I did not like Sultan's line about Madhu being his wife..RK deserved it for calling him up!! 
• Again, it looks like someone caught on to the confusion in the forum about what he actually said the other day...madhu meri biwi hoti or meri biwi hoti...naubat nahi aati dialogue. Caught onto it, and made Sultan say it...agar Madhu meri biwi hoti...there, take that Sulbala fans or Rishbala fans.. with love from Nautanki.!!?? The fan groups here that I thought were immature, and blah blah seem to have a great hold on the CVS..

Very good take there. 

The difference between the farmhouse confession and confessions that he is giving now, is that that they show diametrically opposite personalities.

RK in farmhouse was collected, suave and intelligent and Madhu totally loved him for that charm, elan and all.

RK on 11th April and today (20th April) is a disturbed, deranged man and talking about death if Madhu is not in his life or does not love him.  And Madhu, though she sees his love for her, she is not liking the man at all. She despises him because he is distasteful and not that he is dishonest.

Its not a matter of trust here for Madhu. Its the matter on more primal instincts.

Liking which should lead to Love.

How simple and yet how true.

If you see from my eyes, today, I learnt a lesson and I am not sure if Madhu learnt a lesson.

Never trust anyone's love when he/she loves your craziness because no one can like our crazy/idiosyncratic habits. Eventually people start despising you.  We have Salman Khan's live example there as how his women try to change him later on.

Start Accepting anyone's company when you see that he or she tolerates you inspite of your irritating craziness and respect them for accepting you in wholesome manner without trying to change you. Because we cannot negate our basic nature.   

And finally, if you like someone, say it. Pyaar hoga ya nahin hoga dekha jaayega.  But liking should always be there to keep going.

Today RK and Madhu have stalemate because Madhu is not liking RK  and RK clearly said that..."Tadap" is missing. There is no desire, no attraction for me.  How poignant.

Re. the difference between confession at the farm-house and the one on Saturday's episode...

Apart from what  Shri has told, the difference is that in the farm house confession , he was very cleverly honest to the point that he touched upon her traits, behavior, craziness that attracted him to her..

But Saturday's confession was all about himself, his feelings , etc... It was intense, crude and basically explained how she is ingrained in his every cell...

In the farmhouse confession, he mouthed a dialogue

"Tumhi meri chahat ho, tumhi meri dhadkan

Tumhi mera ishq ho, tumhi mera junoon"

In Sat's confession, he demonstrated these very words clearly and hence was more impactful...

zoya, for me still the farmhouse confession is more impactful ... n the lines i remember r not 

"Tumhi meri chahat ho, tumhi meri dhadkan

Tumhi mera ishq ho, tumhi mera junoon"

 but, these lines!!

"pyar main isliye nahi karta kyunki tumne vrat rakha..balki tumhaari yeh zidd aur paglon ki tarah mehendi chupaane ki wajah se...

n actually i dont know what can be a better proposal! dis was really RK kinds...the fact that moved me was the details(how he mentioned evry tiny detail abt her behavior)...the way they were not romantic dialogues but, just stating what irritates him n still he likes that...infact i still feel that the proposal was not planned like this...it just happened...it was true n he didn't realise...

wondering if she wud have agreed they wud have left that time itself???

@bold black:Just before he says those things about her crazy antics that you mentioned, he does say these ishq -junoon wala dialogue... I remember quite clearly...And those lines, when he uttered at that time were less impactful bcoz the intensity of his feelings was not what it is right now...He is much more consumed in his emotions,passions at present and hence those very words of his come alive now...Those lines didn't strum my heart back then but now those very lines describe him... Hence I feel the impact of those lines now...

As for the rest of his confession, I did say the same thing as you that he was honest about what it is about her that attracts him... I din't even use the word staged/fake...And I personally like both the confessions...

i agree completely those lines were less impactful...i remember him saying..what i meant was those lines r not etched in my head but the remaining ones r just so powerful that actually the saturday confession was also not so powerful for me...

@Question - I'm honestly thinking that's where it's going, or rather that's what the strategy is. It reminds me of something that happened in a romance I read forever ago. I guess we just wait and watch. It was left pretty open ended today.

I was saying on Thursday that RK's dream of 9th March has been completed in real terms.  Now today's RK's outburst is the conscious presentation of drunken night conversation of March beginning.  They showed since the kidnapping drama, that RK keeps talking about his body, blood and heart as calling for Madhu, which in his dictionary, does not play much part...as he lives with his mind (and you can add his mind games) and that's why he is that twisted person.

Madhu is quietly registering all this, accepts that how much twisted she must have been to love this twisted guy, so she is now going to declare RK's ego as her enemy (not RK this time) and in process make him listen to his heart.  This was what was shown on drunken night. Even when they sleep together that night, they show a kiddish RK happy in her company, but Madhu still looks okay and not okay to be there. This is how RK and Madhu's expressions came across today.  You can watch the March 1st, 2nd and 3rd episodes

Thank you so much for this reply Shri.. It very simply echos all the random musings that are bouncing around in my muddled brain right now.  I had an initial knee jerk reaction to the episode but after reading some of the responses here and walking away I have no sat back down more at peace with the episode than I had been initially.  

@bold - I was making those connections as well as he was saying his lines although the delivery was much different.  I was waiting for those words to come out in a sober moment.  I had different expectations from today's episode but I suppose I shall have to wait for those expectations to be realized at some point in the coming week.

@Madhu vs. Ego - I have been hoping and waiting for this since the moment it was announced that RK would take Madhu back to RK mansion.. I had been having a conversation with Zoe about how I sincerely want Madhu to stay back because she decides to fight for her love against all of RK's demons.  As odd as it is I was happy when Bittuji mentioned the poison inside of RK the other day because it reminded me of how she had vowed to help him rid himself of all the poison inside of him.

What RK said today about the story being about the two of them is the reason I don't see a need for Sultan, aside from a few lines muttered here and there to instigate RK he hasn't brought anything worthwhile to the canvas that couldn't have been achieved in a much better way by using the characters they already had to work with.  Sultan was brought on with the big hoopla of being an antagonist - which I guess he is fulfilling in a way I suppose - but the real antagaonist has been in this story since almost the beginning and that's RK's ego.  That's the force that is working against our protagonist Madhu here, that's what's causing the real problem and conflict - RK's ego.

I truly loved today's episode... 

I fultoo loved RK's junoon today...  Having a ghajini moment with his dialogues to sum it up but then it was thrilling and interesting to watch...

Trishna is the ally of Madhu in this phase... Though they started establishing it since the beginning of phase 2, I think today Madhu and Trishna sealed the pact!!!

Btw, am I a sadist?

Am I weird if I liked today's episode?  I guess I'm more so crazy just like RK and Madhu themselves 

For the first time, RK's inner turmoils came out and that too in front of Madhu. She was the silent observer and she gets to see his weakest moments.

RK was full of contradictions, but that's how he's been for a while now. He himself doesn't even know what is happening to him. First he says that his heartbeat only says Madhu, and then he covers up and contradicts saying he may love her or not 

As shocked as Madhu appeared, I feel she finally got the answers she needed. And she'll guide both herself and RK out of this.

I was surprised with Trishna's actions, but I trust her. She also seems to have become Madhu's spokesperson 

All in all, I'm looking forward to next week now !

I really liked today's episode. It was written more thoughtfully rather than just throwing bones at different fan groups.

RK clearly pronounced his current state of mind

Madhu realized RK's condition but won't clearly reveal her next move; however, the lady is preparing for something big (I guess as of now only Trishna has an insight to Madhu's plans)

Trishna promised to stand by her sister no matter what

Bittuji had just another day at work (getting more exposed to his boss's personal life as usual)

Past two weeks' episodes had everyone's eyes glued to RK's and his set of actions;upcoming week(s) episodes will showcase mainly Madhu and her actions..

@Zoya, Sound, and Shri -about liking today's episode: I'm with you guys. As Shri pointed out honesty is what we appreciate. One of the reasons that attracted me to this show was the title "Madhubala Ek Ishq Ek Junoon"; i was being promised an unique love story, an intense passion that would not know any boundaries.. And today's episode reminded me once again that this love story doesn't recognizes any limits.. This craziness in love is what makes RishBala so appealing, at least in my eyes

Progress! 10secs less of "Ab tak" today than yesterday. I paid attention today - the narration was surprisingly more crisp and bulls-eyed - lekin kahaani mein yeh pata nahi chal paa raha hai ki heroine hero ko pyar karti hai yaa villain ko, aaiye, dekhte hain.  Had a small LOL moment. 

Uff RK and his penchant for DRRRAMAAA !!!! Nah, I don't do that anymore, I wouldn't be left with any nails then. All I was thinking that they probably shouldn't engage this much on an empty stomach. Weren't they supposed to eat on the sets? Did RK have dinner last night? He lost so much blood from the slash on his hand, then danced on the street, faced Sultan, is perpetually angry all the time - how is he even functioning? Anyways, diving into the actual episode content - RK is all over the place with his proclamation of love and declaration of his constraints and his incapability to understand as to what sort of an answer and how much of its reiteration is going to actually calm him down. He needs someone (not necessarily Madhu) or something to anchor him. Yes, he needs help, he needs love, he probably needs medication - but first and  foremost, he needs to resurface from this hysteria. Because I don't know what Madhu will do - leave him or help him. She has the liberty to do either and RK deserves to be remorseful - but I don't believe he deserves to lose his sanity in the process. 

On the other hand, Madhu, who looked quite alarmed in the studio, calmly lands in the chawl, to do what exactly now? To have a chat with Trishna but keep Padmini in the dark.Err, what kind of plan is this? She is not carrying any wallet, phone, eyes not on the road, she is just walking while contemplating God-knows-what,  chitchats with Trishna, fails to reach any reasonable conclusion, and takes-off before RK lands there. Speaking of phone, did Madhu's phone flew inside the studio from the vanity? 

RK in the chawl. Chawl people, now you guys are looking? What happened on the Holi day eh? RK had a lot of nerve just dropping in unannounced and then snatching away his Sasuma's phone. Perhaps in his mad rage and rush, he forgot he had Madhu's phone with him which had Sultan's number. But mother of all horrors  , now Padmini has Sultan's numbers saved in her phonebook!  Padmini ji ho kya gaya hai aapko?? Fraternizing with a gangster!!! The dubious look you were giving to your ex-damaad when he was ranting about Sultan - I've to admit I was baffled. Was it just her face or was it because she knew Madhu is hiding under the bed or because she was thinking "My curses, coming alive, muahaha !! " ? 

Last shot and the precap - Gawd Sultan! You, and your weird-collared shirts and unwarranted advices!  Here's a suggestion - . Stop pretending like you're a part of this or you've a hang of things and definitely stop saying, "agar Madhu meri patni hoti".Dude, you had a wife. She died. Stop vying for someone else's!

Ana, inspite of an intetresting and gripping episode, you managed to be the twister here.  I am laughing mad thinking here, that one crazy like me was enough who was waiting for more lessons to be learnt during the watch and how to note them down...and there you come out from your hiding and show all the treasures that you collected on the way.

Even Padmini and Trishna cannot ignore him...and The SaasuMaa will not say anything to the Rakshas SIL, but will disown her daughter for having bribed her like that.

That's why I like the writers. I imagine these geeks or crazy guys sitting over the table and brainstorming...like in Big Bang Theory or 30 Rock...and my imagination starts laughing at their crazy ideas and how each must be happy at his or her idea, making faces or sniding each other.

Its seems the prize is given to the writer who comes out with most wildest or most nincompoop idea.  

And when scripts gets handed over, the characters may be asking..."aaj main rowoongi nahin  - Radhaji? Chillaungi nahin -Padmini ? OUTT nahin sunoogi - Dips ? Main aur Acchi ???!!!! - Trishna ,  Main aur Chupp ? - RK

Bittuji when he was giving that confidant observation about his chief to his Bhabhiji, yesterday, I was thinking...why is he looking so constipated while giving those dialogues ??  and my Gutter-Mind started playing with me and I was laughing mad thinking, how the photography team and sound mixing and editing team (basically the production crew), how they must have laughed hard.

Now Madhu will need to deal with broken, distasteful RK (and not her charming RK of before).

And we will get to know if Madhu will ever be able to like this Rishabh Kundra (unmasked RK).

Its like Court giving you 6 months in Mutual Consent Divorce, to find out if two can get along with each other.
