Episode 193 Discussion: 12th Feb 2013

Ek Maa Ki Baddua to Sunta Jaa RK - Padmini curses RK
Events of the Episode
Must Watch Episode. Watch it for Padmini, Pallavi Purohit's performance. All the pain collected over last two episodes on Sat and Monday, will now be washed away as we see RK silenced of his gloating harangue from last two days. Actually RK acknowledged that his throat too had gone hoarse screaming his victory to Madhu.
The events being, RK finishing his revenge gloating drama at the chawl returns home, Padmini follows him with Madhu to RK Mansion and pleads him to not abandon her daughter like that. RK gloats further, and as Radhaji asks perplexedly what has happened, Padmini reveals the revenge plan of RK to Radhaji. Padmini pleads to RK, that he cant destroy someone's life for 4 slaps and if it gives satisfaction to him, he can slap her as many times as he wants. As RK calls security gaurds to have Padmini and Madhu thrown out, Padmini retaliates, becomes the roaring lioness and goes ahead and curses RK...5 curses, which mean "No laughter in his life, such a broken Heart that even his enemies will pity the break, restless and sleepless nights, Thirsty for love, hungry for one sweet word and will end up crying". RK accepts them and leaves to his room. Looks at his room devoid of Madhu, looks at his bed, removes the pillows and is happily smirking at the idea of whole bed for himself when Dipali interrupts him. We now get to see vicious man RK is, who is perfectly capable of handling the shameless Dipali with his cold stare, iron grip and threat to throw her out. He asks her to remember that if he is capable of destroying someone whom he promised to love (referring Madhu), she should wonder what he can do to her when he had said to her that he hates her. Dipali tries to patch up...but RK is stern and she leaves. RK is pondering alone.

Episode Reviews
WOW!!!!! After Friday...another episode that I liked. Clap

Superb drama and poetic Justice.

What I liked was the 5 curses from a Bebas but true, honest and protective mother. Padmini was roaring lioness today. I liked every curse she gave RK.
  1. Teri Zindagi mein kabhi hasee na rahe
  2. Tera Dil bhi aisa tootega, tere Dushman bhi taras khayenge
  3. Aaj ke baad tu chain ki neend kabhi nahin soyega, kyonki teri bechaini tujhe kabhi nahin sone degi
  4. Tu bhi pyaar ke liye aise tadpega, jaise beech registan mein jaise koi pyaasa tadap ta hai
  5. Pyaar ke ek meethi si bol ke liye tadpega, tu royega, tarsega to...dekh bahut tadpega
Rishabh Kundra's reaction to the curses
He was standing there, hearing every word of it, knew its potency and knew it would affect him. I could feel that. But he was that John Travolta of Broken Arrow when he smiling takes the nuke's hit and dies.  Anybody seen Broken Arrow and Travolta's death ??  RK knew each and every curse was going to nuke him and he took them in all smile. Well atleast he took his deserved punishment in  respect and silence.

Coming to curses, realistically, they will not exactly work in the manner, we give them...but will work in some manner.  And what did Padmini give...
No laughter in his life, Broken Heart, restless and sleepless nights, Thirsty for love, one sweet word and will end up crying.

All this is mighty big for Rishabh Kundra the man he is and thinks he is.
  1. He knows he did not have laughter in his life, but he had drama in his life, which was filled with sneering attitude, smirking, which did cheer him.  What if that drama led cheer, the smirk is gone ? What if when he tries to smirk, he doesn't feel good anymore ?
  2. He know he is heartless or rather a poisoned heart, but it is still intact...now what if it is broken and the poison spills out and the heart starts being visible to others ?
  3. He knows he cannot sleep in the night and he douses himself in alcohol...what if now the restlessness is about Madhu and he cannot drink or sleep ?
  4. What if he loses the love of his fans, or he starts craving for Madhu's love, or a sweet word from anyone...like a child and he feels ashamed and cannot make himself to hear about it...and all of this makes him cry like a child...a child who became a man and stopped crying...now again becomes a child and ends up crying with no one to soothe him...

Man!!!! He dug his grave...He is slowly going to be finished...Madhu doesn't even need to do anything...Her hurt and pain will be healed, but the hurt and pain that Rishabh Kundra tried to inflict on her, boomeranged on him, through Padmini...which he would have felt anyways...but now it is escalated and the velocity of his doom is increased.

The remnants of their relationship - the Mangalsutra and the Photoframe
  1. Why Padmini showed RK the Mangalsutra, but did not pull it away from Madhu's neck and threw it away on RK's face when she was roaring? Very easily she could have done that. But the CVs left it as remnant...so we have to see what happens to it.
  2. When is RK going to remove the picture from the wall.

Rishabh Kundra and his relationship with the other 4 women today
  1. He was mannerless and yet did not stop giving Padmini her due respect...because she has no way offended him. His focus was only her daughter.
  2. He called his mother Maa...and did not revert to old drama. So his reconciliation was true with her.
  3. He was cold like Slytherin to Dipali. I felt she felt his cold hands quite hard when he gripped her hand quite tightly.
  4. With Madhu...his equation was ..."you need to be living dead from now on..and every moment sagging in the realization that you were punished for standing up against me"
In the end, in the room, standing there all alone, I felt he was light and hollow, like we feel when we float when there is no gravitation. Its not an easy feeling, but like a purgatory I guess.

VD's face ...all alone in his room post Dipali leaving...I am led to believe that the actors actually lived the roles of their characters...Even Seema Mishra as Dipali was scared and VD as RK felt the aftermath...the quiet after the storm he unleashed on everyone. He may have been dramatic and disgusting pure evil person to everyone outside, but here as he stands, he is the man with poison filled in his heart and he is quite earnest about it, without any faking, shame and guilt. He is like what he is.
VD was actually affected by RK and I guess VD felt the gravity about the RK character. Deeply reflected on his face over that pic I captured. DD once said...in some scenes, you really end up crying even without glycerine, because the scene and emotion really grips you.

Padmini and Pallavi Purohit Star
I have been deeply moved by today's episode. Not many words coming out...but it is just AWE at everything. Today, RK was not disgusting because Padmini saved her honour and her daughters. She was too good. Now that's what I call being resilient. No wonder, she escaped alive from Balraj and finally killed him too.

Interesting and Fun elements

"Yeh coffee chodo aur jaake vodka se apna moonh meetha karo"

RK says this to Dipali in front of his mother...that she will be happy...that automatically can be inferred as that Radhaji
  1. knows Dipali takes alcohol
  2. knows Dipali will like what RK did...as in Radhaji does know the relationship between Dipali and RK, like the day she was about to tell Madhu...oh! I so wish, Radhaji had told Madhu about Dips and RK's relationship...whatever that Radha thinks of as ...RK had to interfere...
Yeh ! Bed poora mera...kisiko bardasht nahin karna padegaa....BAM Dipali makes her appearance with her glass...and all his SMIRK goes away. LOL!!!

Rishabh Kundra - The Self Proclaimed heartess Avenger - Observations put together

lovely review Shri. I was missing ur take...thanks for the pics..yest. when i saw that scene , with heavy heart,  i couldn't hold my tears.  what has he done to himself and Madhu.

there was contentment in his eyes , and a lot of pain

Thank you Charu. Yaar usko pata hi nahin, how heart feels and thinks. Now with Madhu's absence, he will slowly start knowing that..."accha to dil aisa sochta hai?"...  That heart doesn't know mathematics and will believe 2 aur 2 paanch bhi ho sakte hain...

He started corking his heart close since he was 12 years old, so he thinks very logically always and his take is always different...its linear for him and not rounded like most of us.  For ex: we say for 4 slaps revenge you let the love in your life get kicked our. His logic will say...That's why I married her na ? I have to focus on that.

Now...when alone in room, the memories of her will baffle him and now he cannot associate with her, because he himself said...I am superstar and you are Chawlwali junior artist's daughter...and slowly he will realize that his revenge was not sweet as he thought...and mainly he might notice...that his heart has already got ruptured and now it thinks differently.

I am seeing the promise now, that the CVs asked us to keep patience. I feel it is going to be beautiful even in separation.

I have two theories in works. I have posted them in the other thread.
I am not sure how I interpret the curses...RK is already cursed so as to speak as is Madhu. For that matter not a single character on the show has a normal happy life ...maybe Roma and Bittuji.
May I quote something from my fav american show " True love is rare and pure magic...It can break any curse, no matter however evil" so I am hopeful.
@Shri: Are you subscribing to RK's revenge theory?

@bold

There are no theories here. I am judging actions of the man. I am understanding as it makes sense by what has been shown so far.  He said revenge...so be it. I don't have to unravel his inner need, when my greater need is to censure his actions in public, for what he did to a girl and her family. He did not drop the daughter in a silent manner, he had to make it loud public demo of it. People enjoy the drama. What about the trauma induced on Madhu and Padmini. Even if it is not revenge, how do you justify his tainting of her. He was no social man. It seemed he was from the enemy clan and he had his ravage done and left the place. Look at the devastation...At this moment, only that matters to him...and he is not bothered how all of this will affect him psychologically.

Can anyone explain me...why people get riotous ? How that seed is planted ? Or where do that idea comes out from ? It is just buried out somewhere in the character recess, and under conducive conditions, it catches fire and burns down everything. Rishabh Kundra had his pillage done over this victorious riot of his...he does not know the collateral damage...and that is what I am more interested in.

What is interesting question at this time is..."Was this his first revenge ?"  "Does he deal unscrupulously even with others... like he dealt with Madhu;  in grabbing movie offers from his competitors ?"
Personally with  family, we have seen him ...in control. Professionally...what does he do.Introduction scene in June.....He asks his Producer, enough of shooting...upsetting the production schedule...he sits in his vanity van and asks his spot or make up man to give a shave...and then chuckles aloud and chats gleefully with his hairdresser...now the producer will stop bugging him for shooting until his beard grows. I got a cold shudder when I watched this scene as VD drawled out those dialogues.

So if this man can play with his producers, throw his starry weight around...sometimes causes them day-shooting expense loss and sometimes takes the expense caused by him into his account...been shown to us that he gets whimsical and gets away with it because he knows how to control all of it...then wouldn't it irk this man to be challenged by a 21 year old girl from nowhere...his entire understanding of world around him is challenged...He is playing with men who invest in millions around him and here this girl has started to play with his life...that's where his mind has got fixated to end her. Its pure power-play. Seemingly everyone thinks Madhu is simple girl...in RK's mind she is not simple...she is as crazy as him and can challenge him. While she unknowingly made him as her mark, RK knowing made her as his mark. Its the streak of madness they have..as they look into each other's eyes ...that justifies revenge. She is his equal opponent. So her 4 slaps are miniscule for us, but apt answer for RK ki aukaad in Madhu's eyes...but in their world...those slaps are magnified power play. Like 4 slaps could have been many millions of his play with so many other producers or what not. Those 4 slaps must have eroded his image in the industry to an extent...and may be that is what he is so fixated about.

Love has just been introduced between the two as tool. Lets see where it goes.

that's strange Shri..bec. he never thought of taking revenge from Dips this was one incident where he was throwing his weight around..may be it's hatred with Madhu but people he abhor are right in front of him but he's okay with them , not taking any action? sikky and kuku mock him on his face , what did he do?

There is a difference. Those are the people he was with before he became a powerful man.

Now this powerful man, previously abused/bullied/cheated by the three of them...is now feeding them. They live on his charity. He now gets to say them ...You are furniture...ghar se baahar phikwa doonga etc etc
They are total besharams...not even worth polishing his shoes in his eyes. They don't have any status in his eyes...and his daily kick is to verbally abuse them as and when he wants.

Did he add Madhu into that category ? NO. She is worthy of his revenge plan...of his brain time...when does he get the idea? When the Police Inspector (supposed to be a man of some power) submitted to Madhu and he became her messenger to deliver her bangles to him. Basically Madhu, was totally challenging RK's man-hood, character and his brain.

Did Dipali do any such thing ? All she wants is his body for one night and she is ready to be called besharam, behayaa...how low is that?.

Charu...seriously ...this is mind game and you need to add power play while understanding the dynamics of the mind. If you are not understanding, then my advise stop looking for simple story and just go with the flow the way CVs show you. They understand their characters better than us.

Do watch VD/RK scenes from June to August...he is not a rosy man to look at...he gave shudders to me for june scenes, he gave me creepy, eerie feeling when he faked forgiveness to Padmini and offerred Trishna the item girl role...basically, he was eerie man of whom even Madhu was scared at times, but not backing out even as she is nervous...only after the marriage...RK looked more bombastic and dramatic than scary.

It also could be his driving agenda to people inside industry or outside, how ruthless he can be...by striking one Madhu, he was striking many other imaginary Madhus...sending out a message to people...NO one takes a panga with him.  when he first married, he asked his crew to laugh at him...and when he now abandoned her at the chawl, he dared all the people, if they can ever think of slapping him...

Its his status that he is protecting vis-a-vis his fight with Madhu. Also, seems he had a time frame decided in his mind, to finish the revenge game...like the faster the better...just that Madhu was not breaking easily.

As for love...he is in denial mode. He is not ready to believe that he has fallen in love with Madhu as much as she loves him. Collateral damage for him in this sly revenge game was him getting addicted to her presence in his life, him falling in love with her. He himself became the damages to his revenge game and Madhu and viewers will have the last laugh
