Episode Events
Continuing on his un-wedding drama, elucidating his revenge plan for months to Madhu, RK drags a shattered Madhu to her chawl to complete his un-wedding drama. Unlike the bridegroom coming to wed his bride from her home amidst celebration, here RK returns his bride to her Mother @ the Chawl with further humiliation. He proclaims Madhu a chawl-wali junior artist's daughter who cannot be married to a superstar like him. He then reveals to everyone that no one goes scot-free from slapping him. He pulls the varmaala from Madhu's neck.
Episode - Rants, Respites and Reviews
I was expecting the public drama, dreading it and now watched it.
From a realistic point of view, Madhu standing there and not throwing Varmaala away the moment it started dawning to her this man indeed was speaking the truth that he lied throughout to her...was too much for me to absorb.
It is simply not possible. A girl violently reacts when she gets to know that something is really wrong and first she sets aside the immediate things that were added on to her misery. Why was she keeping the varmaala on ?
You might think me strange, why I am talking like this...that don't I see that Madhu has gone into a shock ? Thing is human brain still is reactive in the presence of the object that is giving you stress. The body reacts...that's why Police, doctors ask us...what was your reaction, what did you say ?
Remember the Delhi Rape case...the girl bit into the men's hands, scratched them even as she was made powerless.
Same way as it dawns to us ...we are alone and something is not right around us...self-defence kicks in and that when you are alone somewhere in the night against a man who suddenly has become a person that you are not aware of. Ash must have gotten slapped by Salman in public or wherever, but definitely, she must have reacted even after taking that abuse...
Why was Madhu's self-defence not kicking in...She was not a retard not to be able to think.
Okay...I really need a psychologist's opinion to tell me if Madhu's reaction to that man was realistic.
Other than the above...the drama just went on on and on as if Rishabh Kundra was drunk in his victory, as if he was gloating to show how he planned everything. This was realistic to a bit...but at normal, it soon becomes a brawl with parties talking or arguing and the fight becoming physical because the gloating person wants to enjoy the drama at maximum...typically they become violent in expressing their win or their frustration with the other party for making them work so many extra hours. Yes, in the end, inspite of the victory, they become physically violent to let out their frustration as well for having to play good person so long against their natural inclination. So Rishabh Kundra was getting physical with her...
This type of drama has to be ugly but it was dramatic...so for me...I will just take it as drama, with a little bit of expectation of realism that Madhu should have reacted in self-defence instead of being like a puppet there..
People go into shock and trauma after the incident and drama is finished...one's brain does not stop functioning right in the middle of the drama.
I buy the RK's revenge vendetta gloating for 20 minutes...but I don't buy Madhu's silence.
I am sorry if I hurt anyone's sentiments. And I take back my words, if anyone who understands psychology refutes my statement.
On poetic justice rules...I got the feeling that Rishabh Kundra for the man he is ...dug his grave today. If he finished Madhubala, even he is also finished in a way that is not yet visible to him or anyone, but we can feel it.
ETA
All I can fathom now is ... something just happened and as Zorica said may be Madhu's self-preservation has already kicked in and she remained silent, so that that man does not get more physically violent...as in he could have pushed her here and there ...its quite possible for the kameena man he had become there...she was alone...so she was quiet...but her brain already has registered something and has now stopped showing it through her eyes. This I will agree on...because if RK keeps on talking for 20 minutes, then Madhu is the silent one who doesn't talk much and still hits his ego badly.
Technical Aspect
The writers failed to convince me. They are trying to sell me Revenge theme which still does not make sense. They just transplanted revenge in the story...and RK was realy trying to justify to viewers that this Revenge is for real...and that I have to buy.
The writers tried to fit all the events and try selling it...but it was forced.
The song was played for whom...???
The two montages...in succession...seems writers have taken a lot of risk...!!!!
Its utter confusion...and sheer desperation from the writing team to reinstate the antagonist states between RK and Madhu to reconcile to July story...
Basically who benefits now
The new viewers who just joined now, because now they really get to see the original story. viewers like us are cheated.

THOUGHTS
In my tweet to Sourabh Tewari on 4th Feb, I had asked him, if MEIEJ story is supposed to be viewed as Agatha Christie Thriller.
@ColorsTV @saurabhtewari76 #MEIEJ - The song & the love story..were the CVs fooling the viewers? Is it an Agatha Christie's thriller ?
And one day I had posted the Gupt Theme Song...What is the Hidden Truth ?
It now is steadily dawning to me that...the story telling from ST is infact a Thriller narrative. We were shown a Love Story, whereas it was not. As I said, I earlier, I do not care about Madhu being cheated so much as I feel the female audience cheated. Because somewhere the male audience totally did not buy it, because for instance Soundarya's husband said it is still the revenge story.
After watching today's episode and digesting it, now I have repositioned my eyes, now I believe, what I instinctively asked Sourabh Tewari the day he asked me to expect big shock, that if was a thriller story...which made me open eyes to see The Hidden Truth and yet I was not finding it anywhere...because I refused to buy the revenge theme of RK for 4 slaps...as I was thinking, the Heroine Track is the main story.
Now today, I completely open my eyes. I now see that even the Heroine Track is not the main story. The promos were just to hook our interest. RK might become the catalyst for Madhu to become a movie star. But thing is, it is not solely RK's evil character that will make Madhu a player. Madhu had been warned by Sudhakar not to go against RK and yet she went. Somewhere she is also crazy (being Balraj's daughter) and she; though silent, is manipulative. This is how it will actually become the One Upmanship Game between Madhu and RK...and all of this will be narrated in thriller style by the CVs. They will always make us forget, or give us shocking surprises and all of this to make it a thriller to make us see something that we never expected.
The CVs never revealed anything about RK and also they have never shown us what Madhu is thinking. Both of them spending so much time together, playing hate and love game, have actually neither revealed about their true traits to each other nor to the viewers.
Me being a person, who understands people when they talk, I was able to write about RK a lot. Then I used to go ballistic when Madhu never made sense with her silence and her stupid actions. But at least I never ignored her dark traits, how insensitive, snoopy and manipulative she can get. I for one thing atleast was proven right...The girl questions the man's way of thinking and that's where the game begins. And the man gloats in arrogant win and soon she sweeps the carpet down his feet. I have also started saying Madhu too is not that dumb as she projects herself to be...She is just not like the regular females.
This time RK played and Madhu seems to be silently taking the hit. But in coming days, I expect her to develop dark shades, which RK will never know and still think of her an innocent and Madhu will only be waiting for to strike it hard when the iron rod is red hot to be broken.
So this game of love and obsession will go on between them like Cat and Mouse game. Love always between EQUALS looks realistic. An experienced RK and an Innocent Madhu's love story is really idyllic. Now if Madhu shows her grey shades and she too becomes an experienced player like RK, MEIEJ will have an AUTO redemption story kick in for viewers sake who felt cheated and then reason for love between the two; once Madhu is done with her revenge, becomes justified...Like AA says tainted, like I say experienced...this creates equal wavelength between the two crazy souls and the story will go on and viewers then will feel okay.
From now onwards, I will not believe anything that is shown and will expect surprise any time. Because I will not be sure who is playing whom. Primarily the show writers will always target me to make me perpetual "April Fool Banaaya", so I guess, I will have to be watching as if I am watching Jackie Brown or Gupt or Hate Story. This morning Charu was reminding us all of Talash movie.
So ladies!!!! from today onwards, SD will be in perpetual
mode

Enjoy the song.
Jackie Brown is a Quentine Tarantino movie, whose movie Pulp Fiction became Cult movie. If you see my previous post, I referred to Pulp Fiction...like out of the blue.. remark from my mind. See the potboiler kind of stuff that ST and his team has churned out for the viewers and serving us revenge on the plate...it made me suddenly relate to Pulp Fiction, which is known for its difficult narrative that is kinda difficult to digest. My personal liking is towards Jackie Brown...

You guys, I just got this image of Madhu and RK as one of those eternally on/off couples that are portrayed in the media. Think about it- Rishbala on Koffee with Karan, being asked to define their relationship after Madhu has become a star. Or mags with Rishbala on the cover, speculating that they are back together or not.
*Shudders* I'm thinking this because with the current track, how would the cv's sell a sustainable relationship.
Ugh.
Responded by Myself
AA,
Have visualized myself so many times...how will they look when media asks them about their on/off relationship. LOL!!!!! I would dismiss the two ...but poor Madhu what a mess she landed into for not heeding to Sudhakar's word initially when he warned her that RK will go to any extent and destroy her. If you don't know who is Sudhakar, he is Padmini and Shamsher's friend in the Chawl. He runs the employment agency for junior artists.

Hey everyone!
I have to be honest and admit first and foremost that I haven't had a chance to read everyone's thoughts yet and this may have been discussed but where is Bittuji? I was expecting him to bepeeping around the corner of one of those pillars snapping pictures of the couple.Honestly! I know it wouldn't have been the perfect ending for his Rishbala scrapbook of love but it would have been something.
Not to mention that the CVs missed a golden opportunity to throw the Mittu fans (since those long days these two spent bonding at the hospital) a bone. The Rishbala romance was getting a little stale, Mittu forever!! I know, I know, I was formerly on the Pittu train but I mean that's no longer a possibility so I'm happy to jump ship and join the Mittu lovers. There really was a spark there. Let's focus on that?
Preet,
So happy to see your post after a long long time. Yeah !!! Bittuji is gone missing. I am not sure if the newbies here know who is Rittu, Mittu and Pittu LOL !!!!! Peach seems to be back from India...I saw her likes here today.
So let me explain the newbies here who are they
- Rittu - Rishabh + Bittuji
- Mittu - Madhu + Bittuji - forged during Hospital and deeply bonded in KC track
- Pittu - Padmini + Bittuji - forged in Hospital (Rishabh shot Track)

DOMINANT RASA of TODAY's DRAMA - VIBHATSA Rasa
It was an odious drama created by Rishabh Kundra.
The current episodes are all about being odious, disgusting, grotesque humour and the whole forum is afflicted by it. But we need to master it. I have added element of mystery to do it get out the depressing feelings.
Maladies induced from Vibhatsa Rasa afflicts RK, who further inflicted it on Viewers and Madhu. While viewers, have been angry, brave and analyzing source and reasons for his affliction, Madhu has gone into a state of shock. This is a bad emotion and one should control it.
No Rasa is more demonic
and useless than Disgust.
"Krishna Fights Trinavrata"
by Pieter Weltevrede
Vibhatsa is a feeling of Disgust or dissatisfaction with oneself and others. Vulgar, uncivilized, and perverted actions, using bad words and manners, and showing bad intentions to others are all manifestations of the Vibhatsa Rasa.
Though the problem of self-pity is basically mental and supported by bad body chemistry, the ego has the power to control it or to surrender to this feeling of Disgust. The ego may lose the power to control Vibhatsa if it has been deeply hurt by seeing bad intentions behind the words and deeds of others, making the person feel cheated.
With the mind freely wielding negative thoughts and illusions of sense- and self-gratification, Vibhatsa leads to the neglect of responsibilities, often with regard to one's health and loved ones. Strength and will are destroyed - the ego becomes the king that has forsaken his country. This neglect in Disgust creates deteriorating, highly tamasic, body chemistry, and new failures in daily life, only further securing the chains of the trap. Disgust also creates bad karma.
The Disgust Rasa also lies at the basis of depression.
Mastering Disgust
Self-pity is mostly avoided by frequently paying attention to Shringara. Good company may certainly help from the moment that Vibhatsa is sufficiently controlled to allow oneself to enjoy the company of others and to become enjoyable company oneself.
Paying attention to one's health avoids bad body chemistry. Using sufficiently hot spices helps digestion and avoids the overpowering by tamas, a major cause of Disgust.
The best reaction to feelings of Disgust is to ignore them, recognizing that they lead nowhere but downward. The main task in mastering Disgust is to simply stop negative identification. When longer periods of Vibhatsa persist, confidence and will must be strengthened by strict disciplines.
