Filler or Thriller Episode?? Suraag doondho Mission by Dips and Viewers against RK, Rishbala getting ready to leave.
Events of the day
- There was IF summary posted that RK will tell some shocking truth to Madhu and leave her at chawl by taking away her mangalsutra. This clouded the mind for many and were expecting it to happen in today's episode. However, nothing of that happened.
- Madhu is getting too emotional looking at the two mothers. RK warns her not to give herself out. Dipali comes and disturbs them and asks what's going on between them. Can it get any dumber of this woman to meddle in husband and wife's talks. Sorry about my partial commentary here, but then RK says exactly the same to Dipali. He calls her kabab mein haddi.
- Madhu is spending her perceived last moments with her mother and getting extremely emotional, whereas Padmini just prattles on how good RK is at convincing people and that how she was convinced to get married. She wants RK to help her in convincing Trishna to get married.
- In Dipali's qtrs, sitting besides her retarded husband Sikky, Dipali is openly talking about her hero RK and his haddi wife on what they are planning and she gets up to go and ask RK.
- In RK qtrs, Dipali enters and sees him pulling a luggage case. She asks him, begs him to tell her what soup is being cooked between him and his wife. RK refuses to tell her and when Dipali becomes annoying and nagging, he tricks her into refusing him to believe by giving out the actual outrageous story of his leaving the house, film industry forever.
- Madhu had been standing to enter their room and Dips sees her and leaves her.
- RK sees Madhu disturbed and upset. He tries to comfort her. She reasons out to him, how can they leave without telling their mothers.
- RK then shows her the means. Asks her to write a letter to her mom. He too offers to do the same. Both of them write their letters respectively to their mothers.
- RK gets curious over what Madhu has written and reads it aloud. Very emotional letter, but strange thing is the letter sounds as if Madhu is leaving alone for RK to somewhere and not leaving with him. As Madhu looks on distraught at RK, he gives her a warm embrace.
- Next day Madhu gets up in the bed to see RK not besides her and all the pillows crumpled on the footside of the bed. She turns to look for him and sees a letter on her side table. She reads the letter, gived not much reaction. Episode ends.
Episode Reviews
Okay my heart beating was high as if I was watching some thriller movie. Seriously !!!!! I must say from thriller perspective, the suspense is nail-biting. A rated episode.
RK came across to me as an excellent manager. Never before I have seen him in such control. He controlled Dipali too. Previously he acted sort of weaker before Dipali, today suddenly he seemed to know which string of hers he has to pull to get the desired reaction for him. He seemed to me in today's episode, as a project manager, who was all going ahead with Pre-Go Live execution of his project and if that dry run goes smoothly, he is all set for the Go-live of his project. Such was his poise, such was tension about...it was not about Madhu or Dipali...it was about him in control of his plan of going away and the way it had to be executed. In all of this he did not fail to give support to Madhu...and he made maximum use of Dipali to give her right amount of curiosity and Disbelief. He had to give support to Madhu, because she was his soldier if he was the commander.
Anyways I have two observations:
- Why Dipali is still the shameless idiot..."Batao Na RK, Batao Na RK"...It is not sounding as if she is an obsessed ex-gf for RK...but more like some young sib asking the older sib...Tell me na, Tell me na ...kind of. Do stalkers behave like Dipali ???? I need to check with some of my buddies. I think they behave like that and ask monotonous stupid questions.
- They did not show how RK addressed Radhaji. And on envelop, she is Radha Kundra. How the hell that happened?? Wasn't she Radha Bhatia ??? And he struck that off to Maa to ape Madhu.
I have one question:
- Why did the "nafrat ki deewar" (pillows permament wall) suddenly convert into heap of pillows at the foot-side of the bed. Why O Why ?

RK does love Madhu. Just that he chose to keep it private or play at his own terms. Anything that is elicited out of him without his initiation, he might not take it well...even if it is reasonable. The timing did not go well with him...I mean I knew this weakness of him even when I was not thinking of him to be faking/taking revenge as per this twist. He is his own enemy for happiness. Self-destructive trait.
Haven't we seen in real life...bosses around us, who though wanting their subordinates to get a solution and yet will behave as if they did not ask for it...and when they ask it and we do it, and yet they are not satisfied. You know RK is so much dignified than the bosses I worked for when I started my first job. Another boss of mine would for months (which can run to years also) not approve a solution, just because his ego doesn't allow it...its like for him...why did the idea did not come to me...now why do I have to approve...means he is such an idiot...he is the manager...he gets to approve, so why feel small...but he has to. I am telling you RK is so much better than the real life specimens I have worked with.
Look...not just this theory of egotistical person is playing in my head. I have another equally strong theory going in my head. Just that I never want to speculate too much and putting people to buy my ideas...But I am tempted to give you hope...so just listen out and though it might be just my imagination.
My theory is that (as explained in Media thread yesterday over page 36, I explained RK's reaction to various events when Madhu made him to do something)...it can also be case where his ego too might have understood and seen that her actions are actually warm for him and yet he knows that she is far too innocent, pure and inexperienced for him. AA says that RK wants Madhu to be tainted as him. I don't call it TAINTED...I call it EXPERIENCED. because for me Madhu is this 22 year old woman...whereas RK had to become his own grown up person since 12 years old with no one to emotionally support him and now at 29th year, he is this Superstar...and obviously, he dealt with all kinds of viciousness, competitiveness, deceit, lies, promises, hopes, frustrations of the world. He has to maintain two facets of his life...image in the limelight and person out of it.
RK has a state of mind which is far mature than Madhu. So as a man who is attracted to this woman, he would also desire in her a mind that not just sees him naked like she is able to and not just heal it, but able to see the whys of his character without him having to sit and tell her. I feel sometimes he longs a partner that is mentally on the same level as him...not just the honesty and courage...the major difference between them is ...she is ideal, self-righteous and innocent...which is all kiddish in true sense...whereas he is realistic, not worried about being right always and definitely not innocent. I feel, this man would feel comfortable loving an experienced woman and not loving just a girl who needs to be cared, respected as a flower. I feel may be the desire kicks in him and may be he would like to make love to her...but I feel his experience makes him stop having an involved relationship with her, when she cannot even fathom the full extent of him...
And so I feel that he is breaking her, giving her hurt, trying to teach experience to her in his own way, recreating her...all by standing besides her like her protector, nurturer...as in he feels alone in this world...now he knows he loves this woman, but to make their relationship permanent, he wants her to know all that he went through...which will make her equal with him...she too now will know how to deal with deceit, viciousness etc...the thing is in this theory...I see that he is not allowing hurt to happen to her through outside sources, but he himself is teaching her.
I feel that many will not understand what I am saying...but I still say...just give it a rest and think slowly. At real it is difficult for an experienced person to talk to ignorant person...it will be like bhains ke saamne been bajana. We yearn to talk to people where wavelength matches. Now in what way RK and Madhu are similar and have a common topic to discuss, except the fact that they are terribly drawn to each other and like each other's attitudes. At the end of the day, RK might want to discuss something about cinema passionately...any topic...but Madhu will never be interested in it. So he is infusing all this into her... Another thing I feel that...he was deeply upset at her risking or being careless of her health and keeping karwa chouth for him and he wanted to teach her like a parent...that not everything can be achieved in life in that reckless stubborn manner...he seems like that already, but she proved to him that she is more than him and may be it scared him too and he wanted to keep a check on that...
Wow, I'm reading this six years later because I had just watched this episode and can I say, im heart broken about what he's about to do but I fully comprehend what you wrote about their relationship, it has put so much into perspective. And you are right, people need people who match them all the way, love and kindness is not enough which is what Madhu is offering to RK, and also purity, honesty and while that might be alluring however they don't make for a lasting relationship. People need to be alike, same mental maturity, and stability, people need mental intelligence, conversation like you said, strong personality for a strong personality. RK, is indeed matured, to a level Madhu can't match due to his life experiences and journey, how he got there, he's realistic, firm and smart, compassionate and there's a reason . Those experiences grilled and moulded him, and Madhu is green. Just green and naive. She's easy and simple and while that's beautiful it's going to bore RK. He needs firm, a little bit of aggression, intensity and passion, because he's that passionate about life and his career. I can't believe I didnt see it coming .but your observation is brilliant...
ReplyDeleteThe same thing happened to me about a month ago, I was dating this guy and I found him kind and loving, and simple,gentle and easy. Even his tone and voice .If lasted for about three weeks, because I was into the idea of love I guess and until one day on WhatsApp, he said something and I guess I snapped, I realised his tone is too low, I wanted firm and confidence, I wanted aggression, I wanted someone who texts in paragraphs, I wanted intense love, passionate, I wanted him to make me feel nervous around him, like I wanted to feel the force, the storm as he comes near me yet feel at home when he holds me, I wanted someone who sees me for me, not the idea of me, I wanted someone who speaks in the same voice that I do, same tone, same passion, I want someone who reads fiction, literature and or poetry. I want someone outspoken , loud, someone who has a sense of style . Someone who listens and actually hears me. I realised he wasn't all that, and three weeks in I was bored, like dead bored. It wasn't exciting anymore. It was nothing to look forward to, he had nothing to offer me. And that's when it hit, love sometimes alone, is not enough. I need mental stimulation, I need conversation, I need spiritual intelligence, and I need that kind of masculinity that can handle my feminity, someone to challenge me, and keep me on my toes. So, I definitely understand why it's important for RK to wanna Mould Madhu, and roast and maybe stew and grill her. She needs to be ready for a man like RK, she needs to have the capacity to handle what comes with being with such a man. And thank you for that eye opener, makes me understand their relationship more, because sometimes we fail to wanna to know and ask ourselves why people take certain steps and decisions even though they know it might hurt their loved ones. Madhu has always been protected, first by her mom and now RK, she needs exposure, she needs to be knocked down and then learn how to roll with the punches all her lonesome, she needs to know deceit and betrayal, abondanment, what it feels like in isolation and having to find solace in yourself or from yourself .Forget a man like RK, she isn't even ready for life itself. She needs to know disappointment and how to be real and tough and how to survive most importantly. And she most definitely needs training, and the only way for her to learn is by herself and not when RK is around
