Events of the episode
- Trial starts with the two legal counsels stating their cases in the Mumbai High Court
- Judge asked Padmini to tell her story. Padmini gives a high powered rhetoric that instead of now, she should have killed Balraj the rakshas 20 years back. That she should be hanged for being a submissive wife to her husband, taking his abuses and running away when he tried to kill her child.
- PP is not convinced. Madhu protests. Judge calls her to speak from witness box.Madhu goes for yet another high powered rhetoric, higher horse power than Padmini's and she gives the definitions of Parmeshwar and Rakshas, contests that Rakshas deserve to be killed/ended and that her biological father was a Rakshas.
- Radhaji - the moral voice claps and everyone else claps following her, giving the mother and daughter a standing ovation.
- Judge impressed with Madhu's argument and absolves Padmini.
**********SD comment********** I vote the case and Judge for Guiness World of Records for Fastest Court Trial and Judge and that too judgement achieved through without any advocacy from lawyers, but through rhetorical speech from the accused and her motive behind killing...her daughter.

Today the show completed its social duty by giving out the social message on Nari Shakti. Hopefully we can get back to melodrama and romance now.
Today's sequences
1)RK tells off media and protects Padmini from story seeking vultures- RK looked hot 
and Padmini looked graceful. Though unrealistic the way RK dealt with media, there is something endearing about RK trying to protect Padmini.

3)Trishna asks for forgiveness and accepts that she was wrong to accuse RK. Apparently she did it because she was stressed and confused or something to that effect. 
My personal opinion is that she is smarter than that- she saw no one believed her and everyone was upset with her, potentially withdrawing thier support in future so she decided to ask for forgiveness and get back in everyone's good book. There was no regret on her face at all. While I understand there is no point in flogging her for her deeds...what is done is done... families need to stick together when in peril and pointing fingers at each other only creates more issues. I hope Maliks and Kundras realize that she is completely unreliable and self-centered. She will not hesitate in selling her family out again to achieve her dreams should the opportunity present itself.

3)The court case starts - Padmini finally reacts and tells that the court that she does not repent killing Ballu. Her only regret is that she should have done something similar years ago instead of running and hiding for all these years. We got a recap of what she went through all her life in her words. She eventually faints. I think the reality is beginning to sink in and while Padmini ended up shouting through the sequence... She embodied an abused woman at the end of her rope. Not bad!
3)Public prosecutor picks on Padmini and Madhu marches forward to give bhashan on nari shakti while RK looks on proud. As I said before the show did its social duty today in this sequence. This sequence was completely uneccessary and contrived. I have never been into righteous bhashanbaazi so I fastforwarded through it once she began to meander all over the place. I wish Madhu could give same bhashan to Radha at some point.

4)Padmini is released and the entire count claps for her...seriously!
5)Precap- Very sweet ...Madhu is packing a suitcase for picnic. I thought picnics were a day affair ...obviously I need to brush up on latest definations. Anyways RK seems to believe that Madhu is all he needs to pack...dude... you are so cute and romantic but totally clueless how the real world operates (I guess one of the perks of being a superstar and having an efficient manager like Bittuji). How do you plan to thrive without a change of clothes and toileteries on an obvious couple day vacation?
Scenes with RK in them were paisa vasool ...rest was unrealistic bhashanbaazi. I wish they could have shown a more realistic courtcase even with all the bhashans and melodrama. All that was needed was the police inspector to come forward and say that Padmini had no prior history of violence and she killed Ballu in self defence. She did not have any options. A couple of proofs to prove Ballu was crazy and violent mad man dead bent on killing his wife and daughters in cold blood would have sufficed.

Court room drama at the supersonic speed. No time to recover from the shock of the murder. Murder followed by arrest yesteday, hearing and verdict today. Does that mean Padmini-Malik vivah finally sampanna by the end of the week? Why wait till then I say. Since they are both (and the rest of the family) already in the court, just go for the court-marriage. The usual legal notice before that etc does not apply in their case. Direct from the court they can proceed for their picnic.
See how efficient I would be at directing this at the speed even greater than how these guys are going?

RK should not have gone through the trouble of appointing sheher ka very best lawyer for Padmini. He should know by now that Madhu is multi talented and she can single handedly shoulder the responsibilty to see that Padmini gets acquitted. She is well qualified to be the vakil, judge, witness and the jury.
Padmini's speech was very good. It was a good message that julm sehna julm karne jitna hi bada gunah hai.
Issues about girl child, female infantacide, reference to the recent Delhi gang rape case were high points of Madhu's speech today. It is a good thing that these details are being spoken in hindi serial but I just hope that these are not misused just as window dressing. I have not watched any other hindi serial but IMHO if these serious subjects are not given their due treatment and handled with extreme care, the hindi serials are better off remaining on the safe ground of saas-bahu drama.

What an episode!!!
Not that I know too much about courts and the justice system , but I felt the entire judicial system was presented in a false manner to the viewers, which is no less than a mockery...
Chalo, Finally the Ballu chapter closed forever!!!! The case over in supersonic speed... Looks like the Cv's minds are very fertile and brimming with new ideas and tracks everyday and they want to execute each and every thing... Hope the picnic also gets over fast and they get back to their routine life!!!
Judge asks the accused to state what exactly transpired at the scene of crime. The accused stays silent for some time and then tells everything but that... I was only reminded of the time when I would not know an answer to a question during exam time..I would sit quietly for sometime and then I would beat around the bush and write everything except the relevant answer to the question

Actually, this track has surpassed even this serial's former incredible propensity for speed. My head is spinning, yaaron - wedding, kidnapping, gunda-ing, phasi, naach girls, "RK aaenge - zaroor aaenge", "Nahi-Balraj-Nahiii", mortal wound, Trishna-Madhu shoutfest, dispelling of RK's guilt, fastest track court and fast-fastest track trial ever...phew! When do we come up for air? Oh, right...at a...picnic? The CV's are bipolar - no wonder they understood RK so well.
I did read carefully what everyone had written about the trial - seems that some liked the scene, some not so much. Some appreciated the social messages, some found them heavy-handed.
I found I was agreeing with Gurtiluv - this was no trial. As I understand it (I had to go read up on this as I found earlier I was really ignorant about Indian trial law - thank you Shri for moving me in the right direction!), almost nothing that was shown today would even have approached proper procedure. Before you get out the eggs and tomatoes, please let me say I am not trying to be a boring realist, picking out little bloopers in shows to prove I know better! But I just really felt the scene was way off. They used it so blatantly as a social platform that, for me, it fell flat. It seemed to me the writers were bending over backward to be topical, to make sure they mentioned all news bulletins of the day to show social relevance. It became like a political rally.

And the strange thing is, these things need discussion so very badly. Somehow, though, put into Madhu's speech, the subject matter seemed somehow diminished and melodramatised.
I don't know... Did anyone else have this feeling?

@ Bold...exactly what I felt too. I am not against sending out a much needed social message but then do it with conviction and delicacy. Don't stick it in there to create drama or appease the channel. I felt like Madhu was getting ready to run for election. She should have stuck to domestic abuse and girl infanticide which were the backbone of the case.
On a different note Padmini rather than Madhu would have been a better spokesperson to drive the message home since she has lived through the abuse. The standing ovation and clapping was OTT.
The trial- the less said...the better ...it was a mockery of judicial system. I understand the need for drama but atleast do it the right way...

Doing the EOD Summary. What you say here and if I look at Zorica's poster, WOW!!!! what a match !!!! No need of defence counsel...seriously, RK these days keeps making incorrect estimates

Well, if they can forget Sikky and Kuku's theft of jewellery from Dipali's safe, they can set aside how Roma got released from Balraj's den and how Trishna got to know about RK being her indirect producer, they can forget about this money too.
BTW, lemme tell you all how I made peace with "HOW TRISHNA got to know that RK was sponsoring her or helping Balraj"

Remember, Balraj said over phone to RK..."Damaadji, Paay Laago...Hum Balraj Singh Choudhry, Trishna Beti ke Producer".
So Trishna might have pieced this info with her seeing RK and Bittuji at her maiden photoshoot with BSC Productions. As her brain was over-active to find a way out of her mess, she was able to piece this unlike Madhu, who was a TUBELIGHT and she was unable to discern, why Balraj spoke about Trishna Beti with RK...
I was not satisfied with my digging, I wanted Trishna to verbalize it...khair, CVs were in such a rush, that poor Trishna and Roma did not get their chance to tell, how T found out and how R got released.
