Of Stories, Invitations, Reality Checks, Questions, Retorts and Solicitations -Sultan's back-story to Padmini, RK to Madhu-I am not a Poster to be replaced. Madhu to RK- I am not a Price Tag to be bought. Sultan's Solicitation of Madhu to be Aryan's caretaker.
Events of the episode
- Sultan tells Padmini that they are leaving. He narrates to Padmini as to how he became the gangster, telling the major event of how he was kidnapped and his mother shot and dead when he was 8 yrs old. He tells Padmini why it is important to be powerful in this world...to survive and also that world's conventional methods don't suit him and so he chose gangster life. Sultan does not narrate anything about his wife or Aryan's birth to Padmini. Padmini is softened and impressed by Sultan's story. She gives an invitation to Sultan that he can drop Aryan at their place whenever Aryan or Sultan wish.
- RK comes to Chawl and catches hold of Madhu, enquires how she is doing as he heard that there was a shootout there in chawl. Madhu refuses to talk to him, divulge him anything. As they talk and emotions rise in anger at each other, Madhu pounces on him as to why he is not leaving her alone, why he is not letting her move on, why he cannot see her with anyone else, why he had wanted to apply color on her. RK is flustered, scared at Madhu's avatar, wants to say something and yet cannot say and retreats from the scene in haste all flustered. In few minutes he returns to tell her that he is not a Poster to be replaced that she has earlier shown him as his reality. Madhu retorts to RK, that she is not a Price Tag to be bought and shown off as property. RK leaves.
- Sultan returns and calls Madhu. He starts telling Madhu he came to say good bye as they are leaving. He thanks her for her hospitality and then narrates dangers of his life and solicits Madhu to be Aryan's caretaker in the event he dies.

Everytime Rishabh Kundra comes back to Madhubala, she should ask those basic questions of why he came back (when he himself left her) until she gets the answer.
She should keep on bugging him until she gets what she wants to hear from him. Isn't that the reason why she is not completely breaking up with him ? !!! Liked her pouncing on him. Previously when she pounced on him like this was during Test of Love revelation. God!!! How he looks ...TOTAL SCARED MOUSE when she becomes ANGRY like that.
See that's why I love to look at the lion-lioness fight videos. Madhu looks like a lioness when she pounces on the bigger sized lion which is powerless before the more agile and supple lioness.
Back to being serious. Madhu should not stop or relent until she gets her answers. And let RK keep bouncing back even in his defeat. He doesn't know that he loves her. She knows that he loves her and does not even realize. Poor MB. She is listless...losing the right to wait for him, willing to wait for him to realize but cannot wait for him and therefore that much extra effort to move on. See that's why girl, I am asking you, initiate separation or atleast these kind of fights, the man is going to realize faster than you would think. Don't wait for him to come to you. Make him come back to you and answer all your questions. But even before you do something, he came to you, that itself tell you, that you were right in loving him and not wrong. So feel good girl...deep in your conscious...that you were right.

And now Sultan.
It was half his time as well with his story over the episode airtime. All facts about him. He solicits Madhu to be Aryan's caretaker in the event of his death. I can write this part better in the EOD Summary as they are only facts of his life and there is nothing to analyse there.
6th April - ACTUAL Scene with Dialogues
RK: Sultan...Nope the one before Sultan. If you forgot let me remind you.
M : After what you did to me, I can never forget you and neither would you ever let me forget you.
RK: No one turns his back to me. Don't do that again to me.
M: Why did you come?
RK: For you. I got to know that shootout has happened. So have come to see if you are okay or not.
M: I am okay. And I have gone through greater distresses and accidents than this, so neither you have to care for me nor you have the right to do it.
RK: Why do you remind me my rights again and again ? Do you get happy listening to my answers? Where is your Sadakchaap friend ?
M: So now to make yourself happy you have given him the name of my friend. Perfect.
RK: Yes, your friend, who colored you first. That friend of yours, whom you decided to color him first. Where is he?
M: Why should I tell you? Why do you want to know? What difference does it make.
RK: Questions should be answered. Not questioned back. I am asking something and answer me that. Where is he?
M: Mr.RK, I will question. Why do you want to know what happened in the Chawl ? Why do you want to know if shootout happened or not ? Why do you want to know if I am alive or dead ? Why do you want to know whom I colored first and who colored me first? Tell me. Answer me. Why do you want to know ?
RK: Because I cannot see you with anyone else.
M: Why can't you see me with anyone else? Why can't you see? Why can't you see me with anyone else? I am asking you something and answer me that. Why can't you see me with anyone else? Answer me Why can't you see me with anyone else?
RK : No Madhu.
M : why not? I will ask you. Will ask you 1000 times. Until I get my answer, I will keep asking you. See that poster there? Whenever I see it, I make a promise to myself that I will forget you, I will not remember you, because every Friday, the poster will get replaced. Did you listen, every Friday the poster gets replaced. I am trying to move on by keeping you away from my memories. Why did you come in the morning? Why did you come back here ? Answer me. I am asking you something and answer me. I need an answer. (She is crying. He sees it, feels the pain.)
RK: I myself am searching for the answer. I can't give an answer right now. I only know this Madhu, that "Towards you...I...No Madhu No"
Leaves...but comes back..
RK: But I have one answer. I am not a Poster to be replaced every Friday.
M: And I am not your purchased house-hold object that you keep claiming as yours by showing me the price tag.

RK's reply towards Madhu's poster comment was within the context of their discussion. The man was letting her know (more like reassuring himself) that he is not replaceable. Rk made an statement; he will not be pushed away from her life just because she is forging new relationships. Thanks, RO...I think you're right that Madhu's dialogue was put in for a reason...otherwise it made no sense for her to suddenly talk about PRICE TAGS and OWNERSHIP in THAT context...RK atleast was still in context. So yeah the contract just might get invoked again...

I might be wrong. But I felt otherwise. The mention of Price Tag was to DO AWAY with 40 lakhs leverage that RK has in kitty.

Requirement - Madhu needs to be back with RK, which is nigh impossible.
- RK's Poster dialogue to Madhu - I cannot be replaced (implied I will reclaim you as you are trying to move on)
- Madhu's Price Tag dialogue to RK - How are you going to reclaim me ? Using that leverage as a possession because you bought me ? No way, I am gonna let that happen now.
So the reclaiming act of RK has to be real enough for Madhu to oblige it.

That itself should tell you how much that man's ego is about being an egoist and not an egotist.
Rishabh Kundra is man who shut down his Rishabh persona to become RK. He has become RK through his response to external stimuli. He feels alive only with interaction and feels dead when alone. So any interaction is fine with him.
And Rishabh Kundra is generally a bitter person, but he is not judgemental about people's flaws. He is okay with those flaws and therefore able to accept them around him and likewise show his kameenipanti to all of them, This is where his BBB comes. Behind this mask of Kameenipanti and BBBing people, the drama that puts on...he is a vulnerable or sometimes motivated person to stay away from these people and yet keep those people close to him. He does this everyone.
Otherwise, tell me why would he dislike Kukkuji and yet keep an eye on all his activities and yet sometimes wishfully close his eyes. Its his choice when to let them be near him and when to send them away.
Dipali is also one such person. He did not keep her close. She happened to be part of his life being his Bhabhi. She is his past, and only she deludes herself to be thinking capable of making herself his present. Rishabh Kundra is clear on that definition.
But just because she hurt him and she is not worth his attention, does not mean that Rishabh Kundra does not see any value in her. He has made himself this kameena. He was not born kameena. So why not keep people like Dipali around him and see their behaviour and understand the pattern, reasons of their kameenipanti. So every interaction with Dipali is actually a benchmark for him...what kind of level he is maintaining. Better than her or lower than her.
And lastly...Rishabh Kundra, in matters of principle, when he is having difficulty in realizing others perceptions about him when he has been perfectly honest to his principle, he is ready to listen to any Tom Dick and Harry's opinion on him. Because that gives him the needed information on others perception and then he sets his act accordingly. So that's why he is an egoist who is self-centered for his own good and not an egotist as being a conceited person to get the kicks. This dichotomy of his actions...when he might have wanted returns out of his conceited act and he himself is unable to enjoy the result, then the best person who can explain him his conflict is the other for sure conceited person.
Now you see the point ?
In college, during my BA Eng Litt days, our lecturers made us go into debate into understand the two varying principles of egoist and egotist and be careful of using the words in our character analysis as the dictionary establishes them as one and the same, though they are not. Egoist is pure and has the core understanding of all that ego can do to him...whereas egotist is polluted with ego over ego...causing a cover to fall on the core and thus removing its potency to regulate and just keeping the obstinacy about it.

She seemed just so tired of the whole situation yesterday, I felt for her. Good acting by DD there. The whole face crumpling into anguish and despair - she really throws herself into the emotional scenes without caring for looks and makeup etc.(although I'm sure there will be a brigade nearby to take care of all that)
Sultan's backstory was powerful. But does that excuse who he is now? Not in my book. He told Padmini about when he committed his first murder! Wonder how many he has committed...
Deepali hit the nail bang on in the precap. Let's see how RK reacts. Talking of Dips, her eye makeup/false eyelashes are getting more and more garish by the day. She needs to tone it down...

And though Madhu's price tag dialogue was off, it should be hint enough for RK to NOT use the contract if he wants her back in his life..C'mon RK, use your brain cells and for the love of God, come up with something better... It would be pathetic if, even after she says it, he is going to use the very same thing..
@Zoe: Re. RK realization thro' Dipzy:: No one can be as caustic and spicy as Dipzy... It hopefully should be a hit in the gut for him... Am hoping it would enable him to connect with Madhu's pain... It is very important for him to understand her pain...
