Plotlines -Sultanbala and Aryanbala - Still confused and Messed

28th March 2013 - Plotlines -Sultanbala and Aryanbala - Still confused and Messed
Track start-date 6th March 2013

I think with this track we will come to know if Madhu actually loves RK from her heart or it was just attraction towards him due to sympathy.

As per Sultu track it seems that Madhu's love for RK was just due to sympathy which she, Padmini and others concluded as LOVE. BUT in this we are seeing that RK's love for Madhu is true...from heart.

So its time for Madhu to analyze her feelings and think if she really LOVED RK ever?

Don't know Creatives plan...if they wanted to make new pair - SultuBala or trying to get RishBala on track with Sultu track...

But I suppose, now days MB CVs lost their control on story line. On the name of dark love story and trying something different ...they starts plot with some target but gets stuck into middle of it and not able to conclude how to clean the mess they have created...

Recent example of CVs lost their control on storyline is - RK revenge theory...they shown it on the name of twist but till now not able to clear the revenge plot...they introduced Sultan (may be to accommodate actor's leave) to spice up the things but now again they are confused how to go further as they have clearly butchered Madhu's character...and they know very well viewers who are watching the show from the start know how Madhu's character was in shape previously.

How they are going to clear the things revolved and created by Madhu?

Most who know me here, must have seen that I never interfere with the dramatist (CVs) plotline or story. I never question them for their intentions behind the execution of the theme. I never criticize why they have to take the storyline in the way they envisioned.

Why ? Because I respect their story. It is their creation and all I have to do is watch it. If I like it, stay, if I don't like, I express the dissent, if I wonder at the clunk, I question the execution, if I am disgusted at the creation, I look for the obverse, the purpose behind the disgust generated...

I have never complained about any tracks, but people might have seen here, I have always analysed every scene, character, props used, dialogues used, what's the impression I get, what's impression I am being hammered.

This kind of my distance with the dramatist...you do what you have to do and I will do what I have to do...gives me balanced equation with the dramatist. I never feel he is dumb and I never feel I am dumb either. But sometimes I do get challenged when the dramatist seems he got ahead of me in the game of creativity and perceptions and he seems to tease me, that I have not seen what he tries to show. This is where I feel the tease and I try to reach out to all of you guys and help me understand.

@bold
That's why I don't want to look at it that way.

I never minded Madhu's obsession with Mukund.

But then I was teasing the dramatist...look I am not going to watch the irrationality you show there...its the surreal painting and it doesn't interest me at all. Let me just stay with IF-TB articles over IF site here and I will know what's going on in MEIEJ. If something interesting happens, then I shall sit and watch.

And it happened one day.  There was someone sent by the dramatist, who questioned the execution of irrationality. That was Rishabh Kundra. He stood opposite Madhu's obsessions and self-righteousness. When  I saw this sense striking non-sense (read surreal intents), I wondered...now I wonder, how this guy is going to counter the surreal ? Will he break away the definitions of the realism to reach over to the surrealism ? Seems so. Look at the way he talks to her. He arrests her thought process, makes her stand on her track, gets her agitate, feel picqued, clenching her hands and attacks her by accurately hitting her intentions...which are privy only to her, rest of the world not guessing her true intentions...but of all the people, who are behind her, whom she successfully manipulated them to join her camp...but now there is this antagonist to her, who guessed her intentions behind her action.

So what attracted me to watch the bizarre drama. I had nothing better to do. I could use my time watching the show. And when BOOM happened...they found someone to counter Madness Personified...I was Ooh La La...Lemme see ...how they weave the counteractions/counterproposals...basically how would they both negotiate with each other. And this is when I became a spectator of the drama. I hardly cared what people said...dark story, this story, that story...all that analysis was crap. What was the beauty was ...how does one counter madness?

Things that have stayed in my mind...
Like Minu said...the first meeting of the two stalwarts on the studio bridge.  The "lecture"...which was called "Impressive Dialogue", the "snide, sneering, contemptuous look" wqs countered with pleasant and charming "Continue", the "self-righteous objective and agenda" explained as movie title, "Ek Gunahgaar Ek Gawaah" (A Criminal A Witness).  There was that tit for tat. The dogmatic morality was turned into pragmatic Sense.

Then onwards, it was plain watching of The Tick Tock Game. Never in my mind I had any illusions behind anyone's goodness or sanity. The drama was always about the fight between two extreme stands. And what was beautiful was whenever they approached each other, there seemed to be poetic truths getting exploded in our face...as in forget the extremes...and see what balances could have been achieved.  And that was my take-home.  And that's where I lauded the dramatist. In my imagination, I used to look at him and nod at what he showed and I would say, I approve. I got what I wanted.

So what I am saying is...the drama is never about reformations to the protagonists and Antagonists of the show. Though, they flit into either of the state per the need of the plot and script. The protagonist can become the antagonist and vice versa. Instead of reformations to be looked out for...we always have to wait for the Meet of the minds, Intentions between the two extreme standpoints and what explosion happens and what poetic truths come out for us. The reformations are actually the blatant realizations felt by us the viewers.

So stop expecting anyone will learn, change. Who will learn...is always going to be the Viewer. It will be our experience always.

Sometimes I do rant. Why do I rant? Yes, my impatience, but also my imagined look at the dramatist and I see his tease when I don't get or see the TIT for the TAT he showed. There have been unexplained TATs in the show...and I hoped to see the TIT as I wait.  And today, I was happy to see a distraught mother and sister towards the crazy seed in their family.

Glycerine - Who would like that name for a nick-name?  Who would like the trait of "forever crying" ? How could one extol that trait in the name of cuteness ? Tears are Cute...but Tears are Blackmail too. Tears can express Hurt but Tears can also be Game. Hamesha Roti Hai trait is Funny, but sometimes it is scary too.

I felt that pain in Trishna and Padmini today. Like both knew, what Madhu is upto, and they just needed to be prudent enough to lecture her and yet support her...because in that crazed state of mind...a family cannot abandon or be too harsh on that person, as the person may become too rebellious. When Fear shows up in the form of Secrecy and Hides and Evasion, trust is at stake and that's where things need to be managed to get out of the mess of consequences. Its tough decision to be made. Trishna today, understands what her sister did was not right, but why was she supporting her ? That ...as a viewer here...I can only perceive it as...her considering Madhu as Lost Case in that moment and she did not want to alienate herself from her in the fear that Madhu may close the door on her if she did not support her. Good strategy if you ask me. Why ? Trishna is no mother to Madhu. She is just a sister. Any given day, a mother can powerfully say...I gave birth to you, I raised you...etc etc...but sister..how much of her power she can exercise ? None. So Trishna shows her concern towards Madhu's vulnerable state by being her ally and being with her.

Padmini as the mother...had better power position and she gave her piece of mind. But what happened ? Madhu started shedding her tears. Maa ka Dil paseej gaya...Mother is melting. And sooner than later...not to lose her daughter to more madness, Padmini will try to be Madhu's friend and start advising as if she approves in what she thinks. That way, the mother has an assurance that her child is still under her care and still doing things she approved for her.  Its the parent's need of the hour as well.

But what just happened ? Both the sister and mother digressed from their path of reality, shoved away the conventional ethics and showed the family ethics...whatever it is...no matter how crazy it is...this is still family and we support you.

Then how did I react ? I felt bad for the family there.  And I just hoped through a prayer in my mind that, a day comes when this mother and sister will show the mirror to the person who is hurting them and also say...enough of your blackmail...you can go your way without having to lie to me, or showing me charitable trust that you value my rules...like writing a letter that you would be out in the night because you have to be out, rubbing it on my face that you are not hiding anything nor lying...buy yet not heeding to me...not making me privy to your plans...Just be done with it...you always will have overriding emotions and tasks that are not necessarily going to align to my thinking...so go on your way and let's not hypocritically maintain the relationship, where we both keep compromising values in the name of family bonding.

Will my hope ever come true ? Nope. It will never come in that manner. But it shall gradually flow...the dam will have cracks first and then it will head for a break.  It will take a long time.  But each time I see the erosion there, I will have my moment of poetic truth.

So in the end...never get attached to people...just go by the flow...by the emotions they evoke in you. Its not our cup to tea to judge others actions as that shall mean we also need to be open for our scrutiny and judgement.  Just judge the actions relative to the consequences it shall bestow on you. Becomes easy to go on...without much heart-break.

I always analyse the emotions invoked in me and why that happened. It makes me understand myself better and strengthens me on what kind of person I really want to be. Hope this helps you all in understanding that you should not get attached to the characters in such a way that you start extrapolating your choices onto to the dramatist and the characters. Instead, you just have to observe their choices and call it for what it is and start looking for the converse of what you see across the canvas. There is another way to look also...God created this creation and added two sides to it.  Like the chessboard...It hurts us that there is that other side that we do not like...but then somehow...the play goes on.  I am happy that you are all able to choose your sides. But then it is still a play and show your sportsmanship.

In the recent times of the drama...some dialogues have been extremely interesting. May you should just ponder on them and find your balance.

SD- Fabulous.
This serial  has affected us so badly that we are trying to make sense of our own bond with it...i cannot add to what you have just said.
Today I found a beautiful quote by Jonathan Lockwood Huie: ' I am a passionate observer of life. I see the events, feel the emotions, and recognise the difference'.

Responded by me
Thank you Sounds.
@bold. I am myself a student of that.
I read this essay 6 years back...J M Coetzee's "What is a Classic?"  That helped me neutralize the passionate lover of art in me. It showed me...that even imperfect Artworks can become classics...as there are always reasons why it gets popular...Fashion and Morality, Politics and Economics influence its popularity.  That helped me achieve balance as to why the movies, the actors that I like are not so popular as others...and why the so called popular fail to appeal me...and yet why I need to make peace with all of it.

Shri,

Beautiful essay. I am probably not as engaged with the serial as you, but I do approach the serial with a similar intent - to enjoy the drama, and not to judge or to correct the vision of the story teller. At least, I try to.

However, storytelling is a two way street. You tell a story but it is really built in the minds of the listener or viewer. When your story starts, you paint the characters and the situation on a bank canvas. As the canvas gets richer and filled with colors (no pun intended!), a certain expectation is  built. After all, the base of a Picasso can't be transformed later into a Ravi Varma!

Sometimes,  we all get exasperated with the twists and turns of the storyline when it stretches our credibility. We miss a character or two. We are disappointed when our expectations(which have been built up due to the story as it was narrated thus far) are not met. So we rant and vent here(for which I thank you!)

I'm sure we'll pick ourselves up and move forward. Most of us will continue to watch no matter what- we have invested a lot of time and emotions in these characters and this story. But something will go missing from then onwards.

Responded by me
Exactly...that miss is what disassociates us...the much needed disconnect.  Like when you keep looking at the picture in engrossed manner, there may a time come...that you feel the static picture is actually talking to you...its called hallucination...But isn't it pleasant, we then have a disconnect ?

A twist...is  unpleasant and only on rare occasions pleasant...so as experienced "watcher" what one should do is...not expend your energy thinking what sort of bizarre twist will come, but be prepared to get disconnected...to snap out of your view, when someone claps hard...making you come out of your hypnotic state.

I do agree there is a rational state of break and there is emotional state of break.

Rational is easy. (conscious). Emotional one is hard. Then what you do is "don't think on what you openly express everyday...think on what you were trying to keep it in your heart".  Share that inexpressed and unreasoned pain with others and hear what they have to say.   I do that and then I feel okay. :)

IMO...pain is most beautiful thing...its mellows down a person and we see new beauties in each other. And that realization gives us pleasure.  Like I can always  remember what you said now or what Sounds said above and it cheers us so. May be we would never have known this part of mind of yours had that ugliness of drama not been executed. There's always the converse that is enjoyable :)) even if it is our imagination and just pathetic way of making ourselves feel good.  But it works...Its one long boring life...if not for these so called silly sojourns we make.

To CharuCharu,
I always love your spirit...you try to make it bearable of all of the peeps here, by jesting and yet keeping the real voice...and yet they miss your point. IMO you should come out more serious than you present yourself...so that everyone actually see what you want to show.

And coming to practicality of the situation.

Totally agree...From 6th March onwards...Madhubala has now become obsessed with Aryan the kid. Like Mukund attached himself to Madhu and his mother raised all questions that we asked...Rishabh Kundra came to her rescue and ours.

Now Aryan has got attached to Madhu, and Sultan is getting scared of that interference...after all his kid is his life. So obviously the father is going to get angry. Agree Madhu saved his life too and takes care of his kid.  But still problem to problem hai.  Question is who is going to save Sultan now ? How will he get back his kid from Madhu ?  Question is ...will Rishabh Kundra come and rescue Aryan for Sultan ? Will the viewer be rescued at the continued madness drama ?

To find this out, we can still watch MEIEJ as usual or flip over the Time-Pass period through TB articles and Promos. We can start watching the drama...once Protagonist Vs Antagonists are set for the fight. What say you ?  For me...its a  new phase of the Tick Tock Game.

Lectures and Taunts as Plot Clunk device
Throughout this track, Madhu is repeatedly lecturing and taunting Sultan.

Myself
Coming to me...I have a disconnect with the show at the moment. The stab was given yesterday with RK scene. But in parallel, I had other hurts going on...especially within the EDT. Misplaced sympathies and lack of principle have hurt me. I can never feel the same when that kind of disconnect with the seed, the idea; is finally felt by me on emotional level.  And I need a timeout for myself.

So until the point I watch the show...I might have questions like anyone. I am asking you and I want you to explain me. Why?  I need an answer that might stimulate my mind. Anyway you answer is fine...just be completely natural and as it seems to you...not influenced by anyone.

Question is:
Do men like Sultan exist, who can listen to lectures and taunts ?  In my opinion, lectures and taunts...unwarranted ones...create negative energy. Then how come Sultan is able to keep his cool ? Don't most gangsters have difficult character ? Aren't they complex ? What is it that makes Sultan hold on to his calm under stressful lectures and taunts ?  Does Sultan not know lectures and taunts ? And is it the first time in his life that he is listening to communication modes like that ? But IMO even when a child gets lectured by teacher and taunted wrongly, it rages so much, that angers turns into tears. Right ? Didn't that happen to you ?

Anyways...thing is ...I am curious...why is Sultan shown as the reservoir of tolerance towards lectures and taunts. In Mahabharata Sahdev was symbolic of tolerance. But I wondered in the story...why Sahdev could not withstand his thirst and answer Yaksha Prashna, if he was so tolerant.

Of course why this facet interests me is because...here we become intolerant of the lectures and taunts and there the man is calm and quiet. Makes me wonder...he must be one of a kind and one of a specimen. Right ?

Another person I look forward to hear from ...because I need to hear their voice to calm down is Hima.  If Hima is still reading the reviews, she can answer me. Else, I am going to contact her Doves over pm.  I feel like reaching out to them today.

Looking forward to hear from you.

ETA: Anyone else who has an answer is welcome to answer me.
The questions pertain very much to today's episode as also from past two episodes. So a lingering them since introduction of Sultan and hence my question. At this point it is not a META topic.

[QUOTE=undisclosed]
to shri...in regards to her gangster tolerance question...my answer is there are different types of gangsters...

SD: First of all, I want to reiterate that I greatly appreciate your effort in creating and managing EDT. There are days I have  given a miss to the show (deliberately) but I really feel bad when I am unable to visit EDT. Love you and appreciate all great writers here, for coming up with such wonderful writeups of the episodes, for having the courage to call a spade, a spade, and also for giving us the comical respite when the makers have gone wayward and are taking us for a foolish ride.

Of course, I am against selling ideas that we want to see in the show and deprive the CVs of their creativity, but then when the creatives have lost their vision and are trying to shove any random stuff down our neck, I am not one of those who would sit back and take it as given. There I royally decide (and not let ST or anyone else dictate me) whether or not I want to continue watching the show. I have all the right to voice what I don't like in the show, purely from the CVs neglect to watchout the tolerably illogical levels in the name of entertainment and not on the personal level of any of the crew. It is a serial alright. Creatives have the liberty to be illogical and naive and stupid but not at the cost of making me feel like a fool repeatedly for that half hour of the show. I chose certain shows because they entertain me as I watch them being myself. At the end of the episode I must not be left to feel foolish, lost unhappy and with distaste. Then the whole purpose of entertainment is beaten there. If I feel that way, then I am watching one of the many make-one-feel-stupefied shows. And that is where I concur absolutely with your feeling of disconnect with the show. I mean it.

Again I have no issues with an introduction of a new character to bring more layers to the story-telling but there must be some integration of events and characters. The characters have to have a connection. Probaly they are still setting the stage for the new characters introduced but honestly I feel all characters are disheveled so much right now that the feeling of hopefulness for retreat is lost in me. I seriously think I need a break. I have nothing against the actors. I have enjoyed VD and DD then and even now, but what I lost now are my fav characters RK and Madhu. Where are they? What are they heading to? Avinesh is doing good but he fails to stimulate my mind. As a viewer, what do I make of him? CVs, you inclined to introduce him to be a sinewy don, not just physically but mentally too. But why is a don so weak with matters of mind and heart. His rugged looks, grim face, and tough sounding voice with a few words is not helping him to look like a don that you wanted to portray. You let him hear a random girl come to him and rattle off without an iota of feeling that she is actually talking to a stranger, leave alone a don. Sultan, you let her yap and that too right from the word go, she went on and on, of WHAT? Your lack of parenting skills and emotions towards your son. What the hell?

Ms. Hauslon se veer ho goes wandering into the woods and bumps into a bound boy. She tries to save him from the goons. A man comes and shoots off all the men and she misunderstands the man to be one among the goons and fights him to save the boy. OK... alright.. then? It dawns on her after a while that the man is the actual father of the boy. Haila... Now what will our Ms. Righteous do? She does not feel anything but anger at the unknown man, that too a gangster. She immediately figures out the child is deprived of childhood and the man is abusing the child. Now she goes rightaway cracking the lessons on parenting. And our superman just looks, glares, and again looks with knotted brows. He puts the gun against her head but doesn't he know nothing deters our Junior mother India? Nothing deters her, not even the fact that it is night and she is in the midst of the jungle, that her mother and others who are worried about her whereabouts, safety etc. the immediate mission is restoring the child rights for the boy whom she just met in the wee hours under unnatural circumstances, not even the fact that she is actually dealing with a SULTAN. How more filmy can a film-based serial get? OK, we know that this serial is a dedication to 100 years of cinema but still... come on CVs... you have no rights to underestimate creativity of Indian cinema.. that is not fair, or is it?

I have the same questions as you, SD. Now how many of us can take that from a total stranger? RS says that it is this character of our righteous puritan Ms. Dare-all and Know-all, is a beauty and USP of the show. REALLY? Didn't she try to sell the show with the same funda with Mukund then as the scapegoat? Didn't they need an RK to catapult the show? I am not trying to weigh the characters here, but I am trying to highlight that how the CVs drove the characters in the direction of entertainment by giving due importance to the relevance of the characters and their unique characteristics. Now RK is not RK any more. Madhu whom I liked so much initially has turned into a rebellious child woman, who leaves no chance to annoy, argue, and preach on anything and everything with anyone in the world (underworld???).

SD, let me stop my rants. I am going on and on. Unleashed my long time intention though. I don't want to be so hard on our show that I liked so much once. I hope they still can work to stimulate our brains and entertain our minds. They might underestimate the audience, but I still want to give them yet another chance and wait a bit and see what happens before calling it quits completely.

I value everyone's views. Purely my views and no offense meant to anyone.

Shri,

I have stuck to written updates ( even skipped a few) so not sure what's being shown - but I have a fair idea.  I have a total disconnect with the show at this point -  I cannot relate to Madhu, her lectures, her actions ...
Lectures are difficult to digest, like you said even kids tune out lectures very easily.
I feel RK put up with Madhu's lectures because he either gave back  sensible answers ( during Ganapathi drama ) or was indulging her - like a child. He changed ( both towards God and his mom ) - again not because of lectures but one on his own and with his mom when what Madhu said struck a chord.

Sultan - I can only think of 2 reasons he puts up with it

1.  He's the strong/silent types who does not want to reply to taunts/lectures because that would mean opening himself  - will make him less insular from the world around him. You can kill for a living only when you insulate yourself from others - probably true for army/dons, anyone who have to kill on order.

2. He's at a disadvantage in the power equation - he's powerless to reply. Why would he be powerless - obligation or circumstance - not sure.

That's the whole reason I can't connect to Madhu -  Most people are aware of their weakness and  trying to do the best they can,  Madhu is never a listener  to RK or anyone - she judges and become a moral police. In that way, she acts like a person way up above ordinary mortals and goes on about right/wrong, very tiring  and unpalatable !

By MarathiMulgi
I gotta be blind. I don't see any chemistry between Madhu and Sultan sizzling or otherwise.  Madhu, Sultan , to me they looked more like brother and sister. What eye-lock yaar. It was more like eye popping. Who can bulge their eyes the most.
If they do get married it will most likely be an arranged marriage and that too because their horoscope matches.

Shri, you asked about How Sultan is able to take taunts and lectures from Madhu.
Now I ain't leela or Hima who might give you the answer you are looking for. You have not even asked me but here it goes anyways.  Now I may be completely off here but...

When I look at Sultan, I see a person who has had to bring up his 5-year old disabled son on his own. Dealing with kids takes patience, handicap factor - multiply it by many more times. So here we have a man who has abundance of patience with him which he needs to exercise daily whether he likes it or not. Maybe it is an attribute to his profession (of assumed gangster i.e.). This also has made him mature. And mature sensible people don't engage into shouting matches with strangers who taunt them. They would usually just ignore them.Sultan sees Madhu as a harmless creature with misguided good intention towards Aryan. He is fiercely protective of Aryan no doubt but maybe his natural reticence coupled with heavy dose of common sense and patience probably makes him treat these lectures just as external noise to filter and worry about how to get out of less than desirable situation that he has found himself in.

Responded by Soundarya to MM
@Bold - MM...was thinking along the same lines. I actually woke up in the morning ...thinking ... what chemistry, what eyelock.!!! Am not saying what I want to say because just yesterday we got an edit for it!!

There was really nothing. That's why I mentioned RK-DIpali, because this is deliberately provocative. The CVs have this contrived eyelock between Sultan and Madhu every second moment, almost as if they're trying to scare us before RK's return.

Guys, I am no good at speculating tracks, but there is absolutely no intensity in Madhu when she gives Sultan her lectures. Even RK pretended to sleep during one of them!! This is one of those.  She is being boring, pedantic. Why does he keep quiet? he is not quiet, he keeps telling her off, and how many times?? But currently  she is there with them in that situation yes, due to her stupidity!! Sultan is almost like good riddance to bad rubbish when she leaves, kaka reminds him, she is in danger by association with them...now they are bound together by the common danger they face. As a golden hearted gangster/don whatever, he will naturally protect her.

I'm not saying give the track a chance, it is a useless track, it feels like a different serial. But yesterday, I saw some progress in the track.
  • For eg: Radhaji is looking more and more defeated in life. She is almost looking ill. SHe's got her son back, but she's sitting by and cannot do anything while he proceeds to destroy his life, and his peace of mind, his happiness because of his ego. WHere is this track Radhaji-RK, going to go?? After all, she has played a crucial role in their relationship. She still is.
  •  We don't know Sultan's background yet, do remember that
Maybe I have had my catharsis over the weekend because I hated saturday's episode. Kept trying to find answers.  I was depressed after it. This track is the worst for sure. But we might see some progress this week

MM,

@bold 1
Come on yaar !! in my ETA to the post, I said anyone can answer me. Just that I needed to hear from my old EDT friends...I needed their assurance. I have not been wise like them to disconnect earlier. They have more regulated balance and not so sold out on the show as myself...so I wanted to hear from them if I was really wrong being intolerant ...and further what cud be reasons...I was just trying to reach out to them...Here everyday, we say the same thing...people think we just support each other just like that ...so I wanted those oldies to make a statement, which kinda looks independent and a balanced review out of present cacophony.

@bold 2
I am convinced by your explanation. But that could have come to you only after watching today's episode. right ?   Else, you would have had a little struggle to understand Sultan's reticence and maturity.

Okay... Then just like Kodai mentioned...RK too indulged Madhu, so Sultan also indulges this child-woman as he has lot of fatherly patience and listens to her lectures and taunts. RK had reason to keep himself hidden about his motives and same way Sultan needs to ignore to exercise his power and focus.  FOCUS is the word of the day then.

Hmmm!!! I would blame Shamsher Malik for indulging his daughter too much...so much that she bosses around every man like her father.

Sadly, now no longer Sultan is able to take her lectures and taunts and is giving explanations. Right ?

Can I say...Madhu managed Sikky very well ? May be till date, that is her best treatment of any male ?

yaar...but then again...so you think equations are good if these kind of unequal responses are generated by these men towards Madhu.

EUREKA EUREKA ...

Now I understand why Sultan is forced to take the lectures and taunts. Madhu's lecture and taunt is plot-clunk device.
  • Sultan on his own will never expose his story. Then how can the viewers get to know Sultan's story ?
  • Madhu was lecturing and taunting him earlier. Sultan was ignoring her. Madhu kept on her lecturing and reprimanding mode.
  • Now Sultan since Monday onwards is suddenly forced to shed his "ignoring" mode and asked by the script-master to react to Madhu's lectures and taunts. Bit by bit, Madhu and viewers are now getting to know Sultan's story as he is opening his mouth.
Agree ?

Kodai, Thank you very much for time taken to answer me. It definitely fixed me. Basically getting me out of my emotional to logical mind...to see the clunks. Else I was bogged in the real psychological detriment to viewer/character.

Now I can ...after reading Doves, you. Hima and MM, I am happily able to dismiss the lecturing and taunting as mere plot clunk device to have Sultan blurt out his story. They have forced him to be lonely without back-up so that his story is elicited by Madhu as she not only saved his son, is also not from his world...so may not find sharing so bizarre. May be he is okay offloading himself, his steely self.

Poor Sultan...gets a Dolphin Prop-Up for Entry and gets reduced to Lone Man without Resources and depending on Madhu...just to have his story out.

Let's see where this goes...this is for viewers who continue to watch the show.  I am just happy to get my sense back.

Thank you guys!! Hug
