Events of the Episode
- Padmini allows Sultan to stay at their house. Madhu gets up in the middle of the night to think it over about all that happened. She passes by RK's poster, gets scared at RK's image, her eyes well up with tears and turns to go back. She hears music and turns to investigate. As she comes down the steps against the background of RK's poster, she is accosted by Sultan with a knife to her throat. Sultan asks her of she came to know his story. Madhu explains she was unable to sleep and so came out looking for peace. She says good-night to him and goes away. Sultan looks at her retreating figure against RK's poster.
- Next day morning Sultan in changed clothes is reading newspaper in Chawl-yard. Kaka in changed clothes also comes and he is seen going out to get groceries. Madhu is drying her hair with her towel and droplets from her hair fall on Sultan's head. He keeps looking at her irritated, but still keeps on looking instead of moving away. Madhu finally notices him looking at her, dries her towel over the parapet and walks in.
- Padmini arranges a tray with tea and milk and asks Madhu to go and give it over to Sultan. Madhu takes it down and is accosted by two chawl people who are looking interestedly at Sultan. They ask Madhu who he is, living in Roma's apt. Madhu mentions he came from village. The guys ask her if he is ready to do the job of fight-master/Stuntsman as they ca n get that spot for him. Sultan is angry.
- Madhu and Sultan get into the Apt. She offers him and when he is reticent to take it, Madhu starts taunt business and like a lab-rat tastes the tea and offers him. Aryan comes out of bathroom all freshened up. Madhu goes to help him. Gives him milk to drink after showing tauntingly to Sultan that it has no poison by drinking herself. Kaka comes. Sultan walks out.
- Aryan expresses his wish to go to studio along with her. Madhu asks him to get permission from his Dad.Aryan goes out, tries to approach Sultan, but as he keeps going farther and farther away from him. Aryan just avoids asking and returns to Madhu with a smile. Kaka and Madhu assume that Sultan has given the permission/
- Aryan and Madhu go to studio, meet Dips, handle her taunts and finally Aryan breaks the light and moaning in pain. Episode ends.
Episode Reviews - Snapshot
Not much of Reviews but Perceptions and Vents - Depicting Viewer Confusion and understanding. Mainly thoughts about illogical execution, why Sulbala is being forced down our throats, why can't it be independent love story without any Rishbala situations, why the sandwiched feeling about Madhu stuck between her past and present, a past she cannot go back and a present she cannot have. What's the future for a present that is being nurtured incorrectly ? All of these concerns of like and dislike are VALID and truly felt by audience...Like why force a triangular story when viewers do not like it ? Like why should the leads be so weak as to be unable to move on in right manner but develop as many hearts as they can, which just goes to show, how many different lives they can live with being totally disconnected between the two separate lives driven by two hearts.

Dips the Gutterbala chats with Chawlbala. Aryan reminds her that he too exists. Main Hoon. So Dips the Gutterbala says...Okay Aryanbala...as you wish...one sits and another makes my hair.

What is Bittuji doing on the sets when Chief is not there ? Any idea ? Is he taking care of Dips or he came to see his Bhabhiji ? Silly!! May be just plot-clunk device for some drama later on.

I had this really funny thought as I watched the Madhu-Aryan scene in the studio. What if RK walks in, sees Aryan and realises he's been gritting his teeth over a cute 5 year old?? For some reason, I kept giggling in my mind, I think it was nervousness ki Madhu ab kya karegi.
Today, I want to look at everyone's else's actions vis-a-vis Madhu's actions.
- Not being able to sleep, Madhu walked to her favourite spot the steps pf the chawl, that is dominated by a huge poster of her Ahankaari ex -pati Swayam RK. She sees the poster, remembers him, shudders, and walks down when she hears the musical lighter. She comes to check, realises it is Sultan. Sultan thinks she has come after him to find out more about his story...she has not. She walks off, expressing no interest whatsoever in him or his story.
- Next morning, Sultan is reading the newspaper, sitting outside,attracting so much attention, new person, chawlwasis point at him, wonder who is. but he is sitting to guard the place, on his security lookout. Madhu jhatkaos her hair, waterdroplets fall on him, he acts irritated, glares at her. She notices him, dries out the towel, walks off.
- Madhu gets ready to leave for work. Padmini has made chai-naashta for the SUltan gang, with milk for Aryan. Why?!! Mother India with a golden heart!! She asks Madhu to go give it (note: otherwise, madhu would have gone to work, without meeting anybody from the gang)
- Madhu goes...some baasi dialogue betwen them about zeher. Aryan comes in looking very cute. She tastes his milk etc etc. Sultan gets annoyed, walks out.
- Aryan wants to go to work with her. She asks him to ask his dad. Aryan knows his dad would never allow him, and typically like a child, is evasive aboout permission, and he goes with Madhu. What happened to kaka? He knows Aryan, and Sultan. Could'nt he have checked with Sultan?? Or gone with madhu?? Madhu of course thinks her lectures are working
- At the studio, adorable sequence between Aryan-Dipali. For once, I was relieved to see Dips, at least it reminded me of the old MBEIEJ
- Aryan gets hurt ...this is Madhu's fault. This is why kids are not taken to work, kids need supervision, not just milk

All, And please don't throw stones at me. I got a tainted feeling for Madhu today. Yes, it happened with Sulbala scenes. You know when I watched Mr. and Mrs Iyer, even my mother along with me, she liked Konkona and Rahul Bose brief time together. It was like something, it happens and you keep it in your heart and life still goes on. But what Madhu is doing with Sultan...it is becoming unbearable to even imagine Rishabh Kundra thinking about her in any manner.
I sincerely wish the CVs become reasonable have Rishabh Kundra completely break himself off even emotionally with Madhu. He can keep memories of her until the time they were together. Beyond that he should let her go...his hinging onto her...will futher taint her. Wish the poster was not behind Sulbala in the night to make us feel this way.
It was really an ugly feeling. I told you they were forcefully reminding us and Madhu that person still exists.
CVs are forcing imagery of Sulbala to erode Rishbala from viewers minds. Madhu and Sultan still are indifferent to each other. I mean to create Sulbala, they need not recycle Rishbala scenes even if its clunk device for Madhu to know her feelings for Sultan or RK. Effectively they have tainted Madhu's character through super-imposition of comparisons and contrasts...why do they have to compare Sultan to RK and RK to Sultan when Madhu does not even get one hint of comparison and contrast. So if Madhu does not see any similarity between the two...why the sound mixing and screenplay uses similar scenes ? What's going on ?
I chanced upon Syl's post "The Sandwich" today in Main Forum. And the tainted feeling that I expressed above actually stems from the two thoughts clubbed together ...One expressed by Syl and other expressed by me.

I would have appreciated if Madhu instead of shedding tears and trying to scamper off after seeing the RK poster, would have stood her ground and gave him a defiant look at him.
Then Madhu listens to the lighter sound and comes to Sultan.
Clearly she has not moved on. She is just sandwiched and the bathos is that it does not even come across as pathos to me about how she is weaving the web of life around her.
And she is obsessed with Aryan and that's coming across to me as "Custody Battle of Aryan" between Madhu and Sultan.
The way I see Madhu's want of Aryan's presence in her life, is like Regina in Once Upon a time, wants kids in her life as she cannot have her love "Daniel" ever in life. And what does she do, she tries so hard to please the two kids on whom she set her heart on. Now her whole life revolves around convincing that she can be good mother...but thing is facts don't change...she is not their mother, so she cannot possess them.
Anyways Madhu is not Regina, so what is it I am talking here. Sorry, if it has been unpleasant read. That is why I just kept quiet with a smile.

Even RK didn't ask Bittuji to stop calling her bhabiji, except for once. He seems to be totally cool with it. But when talking to his mom he always mentions as 'your ex-bahu'. That is how his revenge works best. He just wants the love to be away from her life with him still hinged onto her.
If Madhu was sensible and not crazy (like obsessively trying to be a mother of Aryan), she would have taken care of mess in her life. She would have approached courts, asked for
- Restitution of Conjugal rights (as they still are married)
- Or Annulment of Marriage (non-consummation being the reason)
None of the two things will hurt her self-respect.
And here is where RK is going crazy like me. He thought she is crazy and loved him enough not to initiate those actions in rational sense to counter him...but now looks enigmatic to have moved on without completely breaking up with him.

And if you read my post above yours, you will see why I feel the taint...like RK feels with Madhu's actions. Even if you are not clear and do not want clarity in life, still that craziness or anger should be there towards the man who destroyed you. So where is the defiant look at the poster of RK in today's episode. She has tears in her eyes and tries to scamper of. Why tears when you don't want to officially break away from him.
In comparison to Madhu, what was Sultan doing ? His wife left him and his son...and yet he remembers her through the musical lighter's musical tune. Sultan is more balanced than Madhu, who is scared of RK, wants to avoid him, not remember him and yet wants to douse herself into taking care of a kid, whose father asked her not to come close.

So just like when Madhu asks RK in her drunken state, ki what does he want from her, similarly we need to ask her what do you want from yourself. And the answer is she does not know yet.
How can she remain in that status quo position (neither married nor divorced) and hope to move on? How long can she hope to hold on to Aryan? She is neither his nanny nor his (step)mother nor Sultan's friend. She will need to find something else to distract her, isn't it?
I don't want to comment on Sultan or his musical lighter because we don't know his wife's side of story and all we have is just his word. So any conclusions will be just one sided and biased.
By the way @Syl's comment went kind of bouncer for me. What is she trying to say about past and present? Sorry I read it twice but I am not sure I got the gist of it.

I wish, more than anything else that CV's would be consistent about more things than Madhu's self-righteous streak and sentimentality that lands her in so much trouble (via Mukund and now Sultan). One minute Padmini keeps telling Madhu that Sultan is a gangster, and the next she is giving Madhu tea and milk to take to the uninvited guests. Malik and Roma are also missing- and not even a phone call to show where they are. Where is this outdoor shoot? The North Pole?!
I was one of the people who was all for the development of sub-plots and side characters to give the main leads some time to rest and not have the show rest solely on them. This is not what I meant. If you are going to do a storyline like this, it should be executed properly- I don't mind Sultan and Madhu, per say, I mind the way they are written. But I'm not going to complain too much, because in a way this track is painful, but good. It establishes that even abroad, RK is thinking of Madhu, when he put an ocean between them, it establishes that Madhu is not falling in love with/is even remotely interested in Sultan, it establishes that Sultan is interested in Madhu to some extent, and it establishes that Madhu is consistent in her insanity, which will continue to get her into trouble, like all soap heroines.
So its bitter medicine- I'm hoping that the CV"s though will bring the story back on track soon.

I missed the show at 8:30 today and my friend msged me to NOT watch the show today but I still watched it at 11:30.. Why why why... :(((
Why are they turning this into such a torturous show??? This is suicidal move.. Why are the trps of this week not being revealed? Atleast they would get the true picture of whether audience is liking it or not... even though it is not revealed to public isnt there a way where the channel and PH will get some report on whether public is watching it or not??? what if they continue this next 3 months and suddenly realise everyone has walked away from the show? Will the channel risk not knowing for 3 months?
Has DD been asked to act in a way to evoke disgust for madhu in audience mind? If so then she is doing an excellent job.. I am sick and tired of her repeated expressions.. Why are her expressions more intense than the situation demands???
Good she is teaching nice things to aryan.. lying for a start...
The scenes between sultan/madhu are sooo cringe inducing they are just not conceptualized well.. they try my patience.. if madhu wanted to just find peace in the middle of night when she woke up then why was that horror music in the background? and why was madhu behaving like a chor who is going out to do something her mother wil not approve..
Sultan madhu aamne saamne is completely thanda.. its like ice cold water... there is absolutely NOTHING there... Whatever they are trying to show between them is sooo forced.. its actually painful to watch.. dialogues are not interesting.. the expressions on DD's face are misplaced.. I have no clue what is it that she is supposed to express... I understand nothing from her expressions...
Anyway thats it from me.. I hope RK doesnt come tomorrow.. I dont want RK this week..
And articles say.. he wil come to chawl to play holi with madhu.. WHAT THE HELL...
I hope atleast bittuji recognises sultan for the gangster who threatened RK and tells him...
