- Sultan -Madhu- Aryan - Sugary sweet telephone talk continues between M & S, prodded by Matchmaker A, who asks S to ask how to wash off the Holi color. M overhears and suggests besan ka lep for washing off the color. Me thinks - Madhu saved Sultan by applying color on his face, then why is she saying "I am really sorry" Why ? - Romantic music was being played on the background during this conversation.
- Madhu-Padmini-Trishna - P & T & Sudhakar are getting ready to depart for Shirdi while M's departure gets cancelled thru Ravi's call from Studio about her night shift. M asks P to give her 100 Rs chadhava to Saibaba. T asks M to take food on time.
- Aryan-Kaka-Sultan - A remembering Madhu's parenting through eating Bhindi and Chapati. A s A chirps on about M, S gets an idea that himself and A should go and have dinner with M. K has become another spokesman for audience on behalf of S. He says aloud "Sultan, Aryan ke liye ya apne liye jaa raha hai"
- Madhu-RK- M in Studio wondering why it is dark and no one is here. RK's Nautanki starts. Commences with shaayari. Read Zoya_naziya's post on Page 6. Her post has lyrics. Then he starts wooing M through reminding all the first time moments he had with M. Wooing is not that impressive and dialogues are plain. Contrast between Rishabh Kundra in real life and Superstar RK comes out. His wooing style is not charming like his Superstar aura. It is too brash and straight. RK & M dance over Bahon Ke Darmiyaan song. Again they have their clsoe moments and M breaks free from it by the end of the song.
- Sultan-Aryan - Together they come to Chawl, find M's house is locked, get to know through a neighbour that P & T have gone to Shirdi and M has gone to Studio-Sets for duty.
- Sultan-RK - Upon Aryan's prodding, S places call to M's cell phone. RK picks up, recognizes S's voice. He tells Sultan not to call his Biwi, M anymore. Bids Sayonaara.S listening seriously and answers Aryan that M is never gonna come back.

Zoya_naziya: RK came from behind the mask... He had shed all his trappings/aura of The RK image and he portrayed his core personality...
supercool3: The studio was setup to create this imagery of what type of place Rishabh Kundra resides in (when he's locked up inside RK). That mask is the RK mask that Rishabh puts on. To him, its just a simple mask that protects him from the world. So the way they showed Rishabh walking up to Madhu from behind the mask was like Rishabh coming out and speaking to her.
SD: RK had that kind of mask when Madhu dreamt dancing with him even before she met him.

Rishabh Kundra in real life cannot woo in charming style like his Superstar aura. It is too brash and straight. Was it not charming because his real life persona is bombastic. The way he said those things...they were like matter of fact. And that line was hilarious. ...Since I saw your face, seeing moon was waste of time .

But this line is perfect. Yeh Ishq kaisa hai jo na jeene dega, na marne dega. Because that is how falling in love should be.
For me...I like this one best...because you get to test your love every day and you ask yourself ...if it is worth believing it, trusting it and living the pain of it. It tests my strength if I can live up to its demands.

Madhu's falling in love in previous times was "her being lost in his him" and she wanted to talk about it, which she could not. CVs never gave her the chance to hear her side of story and we just had to go by "Main Pareshaan song". But even that was so beautiful. Pristine kind. And later on it became too easy for her...when RK supposedly confessed to her.

But actually...falling in love is stronger when you are resisting the same love. This intensity is what is the ultimate Ishq...the longing, the resistance, the temptation, the withholding etc...

@ idiotic wooing, I just love how you addressed it. He entered the scene as RK, but ended as Rishabh (refereeing only towards Madhu's scene, he become RK instantly when Sultan called). Today was more about Rishabh Kundra rather then RK. To be honest, I was more convinced with his act as himself today; even more then his so called love confession. His state of imperfection and confusion made it more real to me.

you forget...not everything has to be about bad memories. Think about it positively. He showed you today...all the good memories from the same ugly days of his. So throughout his revenge he had been falling in love with her, stuck to her, attracted to her like we saw. He is now just trying to speak up...which is really not coming out charmingly. He is not a superstar before Madhu and not acting RK style to charm her. We are laughing at his antics rather than ogling at him and likewise Madhu is not totally lost in him...but listening to him with ears. Well ! tell me when did RK ever talk to Madhu about what he thinks about her and them. Today atleast he called her a moon. Well for starters...shouldn't we all be happy that...he is no more a charmer, but stating facts.

It was kind of a shock to see RK in this avatar. He isn't coming across as the charming Superstar ... but this is the real person behind the superstar facade who is confused and wants to win over his wife, somehow, anyhow.
But yes, you're right, this is the first time ever that RK and Madhu are talking about themselves. His dialogues befuddled me... he called Madhu his moon!
And agree with you, we should be happy. * a reminder to self - forget Sultan, forget Aryan* just like bad memories.

The whole romantic scene with props from their past scenes struck a discordant note. RK was trying hard, but he was using the wrong words - words of possession, assumption, taking Madhu for granted. He knows she loves him, and he's trying to take full advantage of that fact to woo her without giving an inch himself. Nice try, bhai, but it looked awkward..she melted a couple of times, but only just.

I found RK confused in today's scene...desperately trying to find answers to his own turmoil...I don't think he was KNOWINGLY trying to take advantage of Madhu...He did do that a bit in the Holi Rang Deeni dance...not today though...today was a lot about his own confusions and questions too...He was questioning her throughout the dance.
And most interestingly...when Madhu was on the verge of fully giving in and closed her eyes anticipating a kiss...there was no victory smirk on RK's face...He was just watching her with this turmoil in his eyes...almost a sheen of tears.

I agree with AY there...that is what I have been responding to in my other responses.
Today's wooing is genuine...just that some of you don't trust him...but just look at your expressions...if you are drooling...that is RK for you...if you found him disgusting, foolish, idiotic and unimpressive...then that was the real Rishabh Kundra for you...who was trying to reach out to his Madhu...where he agreed with his mother after coming back from Chawl...that things have worsened between him and Madhu...
So the night and morning (post Dips conversation) he had been thinking...called Pack-up and started an attempt to explain Madhu about her questions...so instead of him answering her questions, he was making her get answers to her questions through his efforts. It was genuine...even in drunken state he said...what does he know what he wants from her...she should understand it. Do remember...that he may be following bottom-up approach or deductive logic to answer her...rather than regular inductive reasoning.

Well said, SD...I think Rishab is much more RAW than RK...RK can cloak his vulnerabilities behind his drama...but Rishab's in your face RAWNESS becomes difficult for the audience to watch sometimes maybe...but this is actually him without the trappings of his superstar aura...this is him at his very core completely and hopelessly in love with Madhu trying desperately to reach out to her.
LOL@ the bottom-up approach...yeah I think that's what he's going for...he will never follow a straightforward reasoning anyways

Not denying that it's difficult to watch RK in this mode...but it will take something to stabilize him...As of now, only Madhu can do that.

That's his state of his existence there. He is crumbling and falling apart. But don't worry. He is not plastic. He is still a living being and perfectly capable of morphing to a personality which internal breakage is inducing in him.
I also have to tell you...in our personal lives also...people around us change...without much notice...what happens ? its like earthquake ...the earth's geological shifts...and we all (the active and passive subjects) morph ourselves to the change.

if you ask me...from my point of view, instead of that ...she can go and ask for legal separation.
She is not vocalizing which means that she is standing upto him and breaking him ...in silence, in reticence, in blanking, in refusing to cooperate with him, in refusing to talk to him.
Who is RK ? He is a man who devices his actions seeing the other person's responses. He is a man who does not know himself what he is. He has said that before in his honest revenge state to her. Look at him...how pensive he looks when his mother, or Bittuji or even Dipali talks to him and shows mirror...remember RK of the bottle breaking spree...he couldn't listen to Madhu calling him jaanwar and bhoot...he took his time outside alone...came back and answered Madhu...look at him on Saturday...Madhu pounced on him...and he seemed confused and wasn't sure if his answers were going to be correct...he just came back to answer on her his poster equation and replaceability.
The man is ever ready to react, the man is ever ready to defend himself. That's why he looks for cues in others.
Madhu effectively shutting down giving all kinds of cues to him...is now driving him nuts. And so instead of reacting, now in their relationship, for a change he is acting. Fine...it may look ugly for you all...but I know for sure Madhu knows that it is the real him who is doing all this...that's why at his heights of his being concerned about her, she reacts and lashes out. Madhu is now okay with him going crazy about her in love, including the possessiveness, but Madhu is NOT okay with him taking care of her. This is when she loses control. Madhu knows one of the Rishabh obsession about her is taking care of her, he cannot see her in pain. She knows it too well. But this is what she does not want it. Just like RK never wanted pity from her, Madhu is also reacting to his care. So he took care of lifting her when she from vanity van steps, she realized he genuinely cannot see her in physical pain, she feels humiliated and sheds tears, it moves him, she is in dark, he tries to protect her, she slaps him and asks him to leave her alone and he lets her go alone in dark, she is being molested, he comes and thrashes the molester, she sees his protective care for her, which makes her question herself what she wants of him, he is waiting for her at the Chawl, she is angry to the core now...because she knows he was concerned for her...now its not a surprise or wonder...but her showing to herself, she does not want his care, but that she wants his love...he comes to chawl, asking if she is well as he heard there was shootout, she pounces on him, why he cannot leave her alone and what is she to him even if she dies...at each opportunity, Madhu is the one who drives him towards jealousy by planting ideas in his thought process by deviating him from his concerned questions...it serves her purpose...she flusters him, clips him of his caring attitude and laying bare before him...if I don't need your care...what are you here for...leaving him all the more flustered and stupefied and possessed, but he doesn't get it that he is being driven to think about his feelings and instead he keeps focussing on the literal aspect of what she uttered.
Apart from all of the above...now check her responses to situations where he is acting crazy around her...she doesn't pounce on him and lets him do whatever with her...WHY ? Because she always loved RK the charming personality and hated the RK the closed person inside him...and she had said to him...tumhaare andar ka zahar nikaloongi...so this is what she is doing...by keeping quiet, she is letting him ooze out his poison...it doesn't matter if it hurts her or hurts himself...this is her love for him. She still wants to take care of him in her own way and will want nothing less than love from him. I was saying on Saturday, that if she vocalizes her pain more, she would get him like Newton's Apple...quick...but she is more happy that atleast he comes by his own reckoning and not her beckoning...that's some success for her...if you ask me.
No offence to you...its just that my viewpoint is that Madhu still loves RK and she is making him reckon his love for her in her own way...if Rishabh was loving/understanding himself, he would have automatically loved/understood Madhu. She knows he needs to know himself...this is her Zid and his Zid is that she should know about him. But win she will.

Not everyone can be like Madhu's. For ex: I actually do not enjoy being engulfed in love. Eats me up...I keep wishing to get free from it.Lol I like floating existences rather than burning or mired existences...but then that burning too is enjoyable until you know that you want to give your 100% to it.

Which also means, how can this character line maro Madhu so determinedly when he knows she has a husband who is very much around. Till yesterday i was willing to cut him some slack, but no more. He does'nt know her sad story, she has never cried on his shoulders, she does not consider him her friend...what is he presuming about their relationship?? I smell a rat...what kind of rat, don't ask me.

And yes, I didn't get a good feeling when RK was BBBing Sultan...when I watched the video. It was like RK issuing his own FATWA. OUCH!!! with that sayonaara. For sure, Sultan is going to go for RK...and only Madhu can save RK against Sultan...
and RK dying for Madhu...looks too filmy and junooni...Poor Radhaji and Mohan Kundraji...what a dramatic family they are hilarious !!!Madhu's family goes for killing others, RK's family goes for getting killed themselves. LOL

Rk is prolly trying to find definite answers to his confused state... His mind is unable to probably comprehend his haal-e-dil and he is desperately seeking one... He is living in a hell-hole and the only thing he knows is that he wants/needs her near him for some peace... Why's what's and the hows are still a big question mark...
I think he chose very interesting encounters... Their first meeting- his first pull towards her eyes, the studio night- which brought a change in both of them and then the RK- style KC... The dance and his ensuing questions to her..
But he does say Ishq during the ishq na jeene deti hai..na marne deti hai
RK BBBing sultan(the guy couldn't even give it back coz of Aryan) was quite a treat to watch with RK being in his element.. So the ehsaan ka karza is utarofied coz RK spoke decently to him
I have been giving the Sultan scenes a miss... have nothing to say about them

An odd episode...one that started on a boring note and ended at a very fast paced note.
So Sultan is attracted to Madhu but is hiding his feeling behind Aryan's friendship for Madhu. Kaka catches on and smiles indulgently to see his hardened Sultan softening at the thought of Madhu. The whole scene did not bring the expected feeling of a genuine love triangle forming...instead it felt forced and Sultan and company felt like thirdwheel trying to intrude in a marital relationship with potential. The emotion I felt for Sultan was same what I feel when I see Dips pawing RK...I feel like throwing up a little. Today I did not find Aryan cute ...instead I saw him as a menance I wanted gone for forseeable future. Sultan seem to have forgotten that Madhu is married...she is estranged ...true ! but not divorced. Also he decides to have an improptu dinner picnic at Madhu's without any thought to his and Aryan's safety, the shootout earlier at the chawl or the fact that he should probably inform Madhu about his arrival. Kaka seems to have forgotten that Madhu is married, uninterested in Sultan and btw Sultan is a fugitive from law...is this the way these folks thank Madhu for all her goodness?
RK knows one thing for sure...no one can compare him when it comes to spouting ridiculous Shayari with straight face and laying it on really thick. He knows that once he weaves his magic of words and scenarios and gives emotional speech...Madhu tends to forget herself and is in his thrall. So he uses his unbeatable weapon- his charisma oozing hotness and as expected Madhu loses herself ...well for a short period. I found it interesting the memories he picked to re-enforce thier connection. All of them were in studio to begin with hence the progression seemed natural. I also seem to think that all these moments were honest moment between them...there was no plan behind these moments.
1)The first meeting- There seemed to be an sparks when they met...even in hate there was an undeniable attraction and chemistry between them. Ofcourse RK seemed to be more aware of it at that point in time than Madhu
2)The night at studio- The night when everything changed for Madhu- she saw RK in new light and RK did save her life and had tended to her all night long (the revenge plan had not kicked in yet). She began to bond emotionally to RK.
3) Karwachauth RK style-While RK had probably planned the sequence but this was moment when Madhu had openly accepted the marraige between them and felt/acted first time on the physical attraction between them. For first time RK too had lost himself in her unexpectedly.
His question was fair that did she ever foresee the bond between them when she started to hate him. I felt he was trying to tell her that she has won over her anger and hatred once ...she could probably do the same again...both of them did not know what future held for them but the bond remained...she did love him...he proved it by holding her in his thrall once again. I felt Rk had not intended on being rough until this point...all he was trying to do was make a compelling case and sway Madhu into doing what he wanted...by appealing to her emotions and logic.
The execution of the scene was flawless along with RK's expression being spot on...a mix of vulnerability, jealousy and later an odd regretful confidence when Madhu sways towards him for a kiss. However it did not touch me...that is the problem when you color a character so dark ...you love him...you admire him ...you ooh and aaah over him but you do not trust his intentions. You see a game in his every smirk...in his every vulnerability.
But then Sultan calls up and everything goes downhill...RK goes from being an obsessive lover trying to hold himself in check and convince Madhu to mad territorial beast intent on stamping his claim on his reluctant mate.He tells off Sultan asking him not to contact Madhu and telling him he is being nice to reciprocate Sultan saving his life and carries Madhu to his home caveman style or RK style. Meanwhile Sultan seems to be fuming ...I wonder why ...has it not sunk yet that Madhu is a married woman very much in love with her wayward husband?
Precap- So RK takes Madhu home and uses emotional atyachar to make her bow down in front on him not unlike what Madhu has dished out to him in past...wonder where the relationship will go from here.
On a different note was there a hint to future track when Madhu says that it is not like Paddy and Trishna are going away for long time/ to a foreign country and will come back soon.
