Episode Events

RK gulps down the tea and scoops the soaked sugar from the bottom of the cup. His mother is happy seeing all this. Madhu is happy that RK took the step forward to patch up things as they stand with his mother.

MAdhu later in their room sees RK getting ready. She asks him to drink tea, but RK informs that Mrs.Kuku Bhatia had offered tea and he had it. The button gets broken as he wears his shirt. Madhu offers to stitch it. Meanwhile RK gets a call from Bittuji to whom he instructs that he send a box of chocolates and his written note to Avantika Sinha. Madhu gets curious as to who she is and why the gifts. She asks RK. RK asks her instead where was she in the morning and why was she not answering his calls. Madhu threatens him that she has the needle and he better answer her. RK then says...Avantika is the other woman in his life. Madhu is taken aback at this answer and as she wonders, RK gives it a twist of jealous feelings, but Madhu pokes him with the needle and asks him to tell the facts. RK then pulls her close and tells her the truth that he had taken out his bad mood on Avantika when they had the misunderstanding. Madhu then completes the rest, says that so you wanted to apologize to her and hence the box of chocolates and the note.  As she finishes the button stitching, the needle falls down. This time RK picks it up and threatens Madhu and asks her where was she in the morning. Madhu gives in and tells (quite unconvincingly) that she had gone to temple and had kept her cell phone in silent mode. RK tells her that excuses are lame and he understands what she was at. Madhu gets naughty and tells that if one longs for something good, then it can happen.

RK then decides to apply the same philosophy on Madhu's family. He goes to the chawl, where everyone is surprised to see him. He very lovingly calls aloud his Sasurjee and Saasumaa and keeps calling/knocking until shamsher opens the door. RK asks Shamsher if they can make a clean start to which S agrees, Then RK calls for his Saasuma. Padmini comes from downstairs and asks all worried how come he is there and if all is well. RK very lovingly tells her, this is his family and he can come unannounced. He asks Padmini to come inside as he has something to tell and talk. As his Saasuma is reluctant to enter Shamsher's apt, RK takes her hand and drags her within the apt. He makes her sit and reveals that both him and Madhu love each other. And if both Shamsher and Padmini really want Madhu to be happy, then they better patch up their differences and go back to staying together. Shamsher is very happy to see RK's concern and love for Madhu and likewise Padmini is very happy to hear that RK feels like messing with the entire world if he sees Madhu vexed and unhappy.

Finally RK remembers how he threatened Trishna that he would make sure she never has any break into movies. He asks Bittuji to have the lift banned on Trishna and have a producer from outside Bollywood arranged for Trishna's break.

Episode Take

Loved many dialogues today...but this sent me non-stop laughter.

Aye Superstar RK wapis agaya Aye, wapis koi panga ho gaya. Sudhar gaya re. 

LOL!!!!

Shows how a Public personality is always at constant scrutiny and ridicule. 

RK's attiude to make his visit as entertaining to public as he can, made me recall Salman Khan. He is sure an entertainer for people. And loved his sense. Totally. He showed to Public that he patched up with Shamsher and that all is well in his world and that his Sasurjee and Saasumaa are very much part of his life. And at the end of it...his public display ends and he takes his relatives inside for discussing something private. 

Awesome !!! 

Entertaining episode. Now that story seems to be back on track...I rate this episode A. On retro basis, I rate yesterday's episode also A.

If I wrote about my best dialogue earlier, my best loved scene or gesture was RK holding his Saasuma's hand and dragging her inside for their private talk before all the people. I just loved that and may be in that warm and loving gesture, Padmini also chose to call Beta and not RK anymore. Inspite of him being the powerful and crazy Daamaad of hers, the warmth and trust shown through that dragging in ...like a son does to a mother...Beautiful. 

So after Madhu, now RK-Rishabh starts Haque jataana on his Saasuma as well. I could always see that ...since beginning that RK likes Padmini as a mother a lot and indirectly demands a lot of love and attention from her. And Padmini has actually never failed him...be it reprimanding him, taunting him or showing him that she understands him...far better than her daughter.

And Tanu, I loved your write-up on the chawl scene. Can I add more ? 

Rishabh Kundra lost trust in his father, but he saw that Shamsher Malik, though not a biological father; could actually go to any junooi length to protect his child. He likes that gesture so much that one that fateful day when he learns Shamsher to be the attacker, he almost feels and accepts...that this is "the father" he wanted from his own father. But then he makes peaces to himself that if not for him, at least such father exists for Madhu. So a protective appeal takes over him to protect Madhu's trust in that relationship as it is that beautiful and precious.

Rishabh Kundra also lost trust in his mother...with that remarriage. But in Padmini, he sees everything he would have wanted in his mother. Time and again, he taunted her, refusing to believe that women like her exist. But then he ends up accepting that she is for real and Madhu is like this because of her mother. In particular, I always liked how Rishabh thrusts Ganesha Murti and Madhu into Padmini's care at the time of his anger at Ganesha-drama. But by the time his faith is restored, he again sees her with the Ganesha Murti and he claims it back from her. Both the Saasuma and Damaad are so much more comfortable in unspoken trust than anyone else there, including Madhu. Later in the hospital too, Rishabh Kundra has problem reconciling to the fact that Madhu gave her blood and walked to the temple, but he doesn't have any issues with knowing that Padmini had kept a Pooja for his recovery.  So Rishabh had always connected to Padmini for the ideal streak she has for relationships, that almost looks like madness and yet for her it is always about a consistency, a belief in patterns.

Without a question, Rishabh Kundra was getting healed through Father-Shamsher, Mother-Padmini and Love-Madhu ...all the three deceptions he had. That's why today's episode made so much sense to me post Ganesha and Karva Chauth track...so much...it was like when will I see him actually walking to them and talk like their son...with throwing his superstar Damaad weight around them and them still loving him like a son, a kid inspite of his antics. I got it today. I am just so happy

The moment of the day' My two fave men on the show (the only men?!?) shaking hands for a new beginning.

RK was cuteness and thoughtfulness personified. Loved the bond between the Damad, Sasurji and Sasuma. He had a point in talking to Malik infront of everyone' I guess it was his way to restore Malik's dignity which was snatched away from him when he was arrested. This is the RK I know' witty and unassumingly thoughtful that make you smile. He was in his elements throughout the scene in the chawl. I always knew no matter who goes against Malik for his heinous act, RK will defend it purely for the intentions behind it and RK did just that today. Malik must be slightly relieved of his guilt, though he will be at peace only when Padmini and Madhu give him another chance. The episode again reiterated why i appreciate Malik as a father, loved him smile everytime RK said 'meri Biwi' Meri Madhu'. Nothing more than his children and their happiness mattered to his man and nothing else ever will and I guess today RK officially made an entry into that list.

The episode had quite a few RK lines' my fave is undoubtedly 'Jab Madhu ko pareshan dektha hoon tho lagta hai ki puri duniya ko pareshan karoon' and that earned an indulgent smile from both his inlaws. What more does a parent need than to know that their daughter is loved and cherished by her husband.

The scene i really liked was a moment when RK was being RK worrying them a bit, Padmini looked at Malik worried. No matter how mad she is at him... he is still the man she looks for the slightest consolation. It is good that RK spoke to them and left. I wanted him to be a facilitator to set things right and not force Padmini back into the house. I need her back in that house because it is HER home and it has always been and Malik is a huge part of it. I have been reading that Madhu wants to get the two married' I wish its RK's idea'simply because I think the daughters and roma are used to Padmini and Malik together and yet not together. It will have to be an outsider who is not used to this equation and sees prospects of companionship between Padmini and Malik and cares enough to make it work. And who better than RK for that? I can picturise RK trying to strike a conversation with Malik regarding this' it will quite a scene to watch.

I think I have said enough about Radha in yday's thread so will give the 1^st scene a skip' come to think of it is unfortunate what she missed out especially when you saw RK's growing bond with his in-laws. I hope they fill in the void in his life.

 A time pass scene between RK and Madhu' nothing to glorify, nothing to crib about' theek thak scene.

Madhu ke pyaar ne bana diya RK ko rishton ka mechanic!!!

All of you would have written everything but I just want to share my happiness on today's episode:):) Dil garden garden ho gaya after watching the episode:)

It was all about mending each other's relationships..

RK- Madhu scene was nicely done with RK hinting that he knew that it was she who set up his mom for the morning drama and Madhu herself giving him an idea on how to fix r'ships.

The scene of the day has to be the chawl scene undoubtedly...

It was the first time RK was coming to the chawl after the Malik fiasco and so he showed to all and sundry that all is well between him and the Malik's... It was a new beginning to their r'ship and was properly timed just before Ballu's re-entry... They would anyways need to  join forces against Ballu...And how could he forget his dearest sasuma in this epic moment. It had been quite sometime since i heard sasuma and sasurjee from his mouth... 

The moment he said that chor, cheenti aur chahane wale hi bina bataaye aate hain spoke volumes of what he thinks about Padmini..

I loved how he held Padmini's hands and made her come into the house and ensured that she sat comfortably... It was seriously a heart brimming with happiness moment for me... He sharing about his izhaar-e-mohabbat was totally another family moment to me...Its quite pathetic that  Radha is missing out so much from this son of hers(*Sigh)... In the end too, he shares that he likes burnt aloo-gobi... Am actually waiting for the day when Ballu would wreak havoc and I am curious as to what RK would do for Padmini too at that time... 

 Malik was all smiles every time RK acknowledged his beinteha mohabbat for Madhu... These two shall always be the men in Madhu's life who will live just for her happiness and would never hesitate to destroy anyone including themselves in the process...We already know about Malik and  RK's "jab Madhu ko pareshaan dekhta hoon toh duniya ko pareshaan karne ka man karta hai" reinstated the fact about RK...  

RK khud sher ke muh mein haath daal raha hai... Ballu the producer with Trishna as the main-lead of the movie... Whatte combination...Chalo, finally tomorrow we would get to see the Khalnayak of this show

It is all about new beginnings ... RK- Madhu, RK-Radha, Malik-Padmini,RK-Malik, Trishna.. Each one is entering a new phase of their life... Let's see what fate(CV's) has in store for each of them...

Not only that...in addition I have to say this.

Actually, Trishna had always been vocalising that RK destroyed her career and that people have insulted and turned her away from studio post press conference/MMS fiasco. But we were never shown someone actually turning away her. So I made peace with myself, that during editing, they chose not to show us those scenes. 

So I was surprised today at the scene shown between Trishna and RK at the jail. because the way I remember is Trishna and Roma come to meet him and bring the food, but something happens and they are not allowed to meet. And the food instead is eaten by Balraj. I was doubting so hard then...if RK had any clue who brought the food for him.

So what I mean to say...the basic storyline makes sense for RK even ruining Trishna in anger... but the scene they showed us was a MAJOR BLOOPER. because once RK is out of jail on bail...he offers Trishna the role of the Item girl in the bid to get back at Madhu. 

So the threat should not have been at the jail, but RK directing Bittuji to apply ban on Trishna.

Big Blooper that was  Seems they had an idea to rake up this matter, but between change of writers they forgot the timeline. And RK is never a person to yell at someone like Trishna as Teri...He would say Tumhari or Tumhe. He cannot go so low in language. There was a major confusion between previous story writers and present interpretation and quick write-up of the scene.

Trishna does get to meet RK and tries to talk to him in the jail...but,RK shoes her away threatening to make sure that she wouldn't be able to set her foot in the industry...Trishna requests him to at least eat the food made by her mother...so, seems RK might have asked Bittuji to ensure a ban on Trishna ,may be later on and forgot about it until she blamed him...Irony is that Balraj was the witness to RK's threat to Trishna about not letting her become a heroine and now the same RK would most probably ask him to produce a film to launch the same girl... Balraj used to do target practicing by placing an apple on Trishna's head and now seems like he is again going to use her though not to target an apple but,her own sister,Madhu...They all including Trishna need RK and Shamsher to protect them against Balraj...Regarding going outdoor they mentioned that Trishna went outdoor shooting with Roma so,we could take it like she just accompanied Roma...

ETA...The RK-Trishna jail scene was aired around 11 th or 12th july I guess...

I second with himbin..I remember seeing that epi Sri..RK does threaten Trishna in jail..

Thank you yaar. Not today, but at least a month back, I searched and searched trying to find the video where RK must have finished Trishna's career. And I couldn't find. Now I am really surprised, how Trishna bought RK's trip home after the jail and offerred her the item girl role. If I were in her place, I would have never believed RK...if RK had that deadly honest face to finish her off. God! how dumb or vain she is...just lost in herself.

Anyways, thanks again. I am going to delete my post. I don't want to create confusion.

Balraj - Reentry

Amazing posts everyone as usual. Shri, like you, I am extremely happy as well. Loved the episode so very much. Fix all their relationships before fixing themselves...makes so much sense. All I can say is I love it.

Ballu, the Khalnayak...lol...gotta love Raj for doing an awesome job. He is such a brilliant actor. I can't remember the name of his movie but he was the villain and had kidnapped a little girl...man he was just as nasty if not more in that movie. Shri, I remember you saying he was so young and handsome, I do to...lol

With Ballu back, seems it would be Rishbala against the world. Better concept than just silly MU's!! Bravo CV's...Jeez I am gushing today. Can't help it...balle balle

Wow! An RK bonanza,

What a hurry he is in to take his wife to the jungle and do mangal.

Loved everything he said and did.

"Chor, chinti or chahanewala kabi bol kar nahin aate.." nice one that.

Glad they kept the essence of RK..even in the Paddo-malik scene..caustic yet concerned.

And, what's with Ballu..is Khalnayak his favourite movie of all time? 

First, it was "Choli ke peeche kya hai" and 20 odd years later, it's "Khalnayak hun mai."

100% for consistency.
