Realization Track for RK through the Dream

Realization to Redemption Track
Starts the moment he is back to RK Mansion - Tormenting Memories, expected Happiness not kicking in inspite of the win, Unable to work alongside Madhu at work and hence 3 day Challenge, and totally losing his mind. Key Events - Throwing away her things from his room, Bahon Ki Darmiyaan song/Swing - torments him, Massage Mockery in his Vanity room and Madhu's slip, Studio-Vanity room -Madhu's sobbing hurts him, Madhu's 5th Slap,  Losing the challenge, Getting drunk and confessing to Madhu that he is dying from within, Waking up with knowledge that he and Madhu slept together in drunkenness, over the same bed in their bedroom, Feeling a little happy that all is not dead, Following Madhu to Outdoor Shoot, Saving her from the molestor, showing his concern, admiration more openly to her at the location, Chawl-drama reversed -Losing his mind when Madhu is found Lost in Jungle, Has the entire Police search for her the entire night while he waits for her at the Chawl, Madhu dumping him once Sultan drops her at the Chawl gate and him dreaming that Sultan will kill him should he defend Madhu from leaving him - only to realize in waking up that he cannot help himself getting killed for Madhu because, otherwise he shall die without Madhu, if someone else tries to take her away from him.

Can someone please enlighten me, how and when this supposedly redemption track has started? I mean when will it really start? Only when he realizes how much Madhu has suffered at his hand, right? Only when he realizes her hurt,  when he puts himself in her shoes, can he then begin redemption, isn't it? I mean just staring at her on the sets or getting jealous because he thinks she has met someone, how can redemption begin? Unless I don't know what redemption really means...

Simple. A track is not one day episode. It goes on for days. @bold. For that to happen first he has to understand what is pain, what is rejection and what is suffering from unreciprocated love (unrequited love), the pain that Madhu went through.

Can I rephrase all the three into one...Pain, suffering for not being reciprocated in love. Does that make sense ? That is what MAdhu's pain is...not having ever been loved by him. Doesn't RK also have to know that, understand what it is to be rejected, that pain, that suffering...stemming from unrequited love... In his abandonments, atleast...parents part, he knew they loved him.

At first when I read RS's message...it didn't make much sense to me either, but I think I get it. The redemption phase has started this week. This is the first week that RK doesn't try to humiliate Madhu on the sets...unlike the last weeks she has been working on the sets. When she goes missing, its not the fact that RK wakes up half of Mumbai to try and find her but the fact that he's at the chawl promising Padmini and Trishna to bring her back home safely and telling them that if anything happens to her he'll let Trishna kill him. Even when he wakes up from that dream after seeing Sultan he pretty much says if Madhu goes to Sultan he won't be able to live. What's sodifferent about this scene? The fact that he wasn't drunk. Obviously the guy has a long way to go and given the fact that his ego is the size of the Atlantic Ocean its going to be a very long and bumpy redemption phase.

Another random  thought, again to justify the revenge drama by CV's- 
What if a person like RK ( hardened, cynical)  would never have let their guard down and fallen for  Madhu  in normal circumstances, inspite of all care and concern from Madhu ( see he didn't forgive his mom for 16 years) . The only reason he let himself come close to her was his thinking that it'a all a game and I can walk away when I want to.

RS FB message on redemption, RS is right that his redemption has JUST STARTED...okay he has not yet admitted in front of Radha and Bittuji but he HAS admitted  to Madhu and himself that he loves Madhu..he did it while they were drunk, he did it on the outdoor shoot, he did it in the chawl and he did it yest. in front of Dipali (that's another issue ke us gadhi ko samajh hi nahi aaya )...If that was not the case, he wouldn't be waiting for Madhu outside the chawl and made it obvious to her that he was worried for her...Madhu is unaffected , that's none of my concern, that she has to...for us, redemption/resurrection will start when he tries to win Madhu back...but for that he has to go through this painful phase of  rejection & suffering as Madhu will neither trust his love or show sympathy to his pain...he will hit the lowest  emotionally  , personally & professionally ..

 Today after reading the 15odd pages of mainly the confusion between redemption and if this is RK's redemption ... I feel this is just the start, with it mainly being to redeem's oneself you need to have realisation. And through the different happenings over the week, the creep teasing Madhu, she going missing or even his dream he is slowly moving towards realisation. 

 We even saw that during Friday's episode, when for the first time he thought about the UNWED scene. What he has done, what he has lost is just settling into him and once he comes to terms with it is when he would realise the extent of damage done to himself and his relationship with Madhu and this is when I think we would see an actual redemption from RK

 In short ... Realisation is slowly setting in which will definitely give way to redemption ... And the CV's just to throw a spanner in the wheel has brought in the whole jealously track

Page 15 to 20 is more or less the same discussion that happened over page 9 to 15. So much of it is repetitive.

What people have to understand that RK's insecurities can be easily fixed, resolved, but the problem is the moment he is fixed, MEIEJ factory will be locked. It will be out of production. Hence the long winded conflicting drama.  

What I don't understand, is why people on this thread keep looking confused over obvious things and not get confused over so many other things. Like in actual terms what entertainment quotient it will have for entire March month, if the drama created by RK is actually that of being a builiding being bull-dozed. 

Page 1 and ardent MEIEJ drama lovers at this moment feel confused, not because we don't understand the story, not because we don't understand the pain and suffering that RK has to go through, not because we don't know he has to become a rubble to recreate himself into a new person. Yes the man has the history of breaking and recreating himself. He built an RK before from Rishu and Rishabh. Now he has started the process of breaking RK, his mother has become the official spokesperson and told the viewers. It is she ..once on Monday and then on saturday, clearly against his painted image, taunting his drinking, has voiced out his debasement of his mega image.

While Rishabh Kundra agrees with his mother (though he shows as if he did not heed to her) and when she leaves the room, exactly does what she wants him to think on, the MEIEJ writers problem is how much of Rishabh Kundra can be resolved. They are the ones preserving RK confusion and insecurities. They delve on monthly themes...like Feb month was Revenge drama that was executed with aplomb for RK, but ended with thud in drunken drama as Rishabh Kundra confessed he is not happy to the contrary. A revenge that should have brought happiness to him has brought misery to him...the reasons of which he is not aware yet, even in his drunkeness, except the fact that he has a heart that can bleed.

Now the Feb month was also a drama of being cheated, made a mockery of being the Open Book. That was Madhu.  This was reactionary to the action staged by RK. And what happened. Radhaji as the spokesperson again approached Madhu and asked her not to get broken but instead break the one who broke her. Though Madhu refused to do anything on the face value there, but once Radhaji left, she chose the same path for herself. She made it her decision, her way. And what have we seen so far. Madhu is keeping close to RK, in actual terms of being physically close to him, spends her day time in front of him, whereas she has completely moved away from Padmini (who is a good person) and keeps good relationship with Trishna. 

Increasingly Madhu is NOT thinking about her family (which she never has to begin with...she goes by her priorities and she picks people by her choice...that's her characteristic trait). Madhu is now being shown to us as Closed Book. We have raved on Wednesday and Thursday that she did not think even once for Padmini and Trishna and that she is in danger and why she doesn't sense anything of it.  In my opinion, probably, Madhu's dictionary of words and their meaning is re-written. May be everything is now the opposite. May be guns, killing and isolation are no longer fearful things and may be she feels more safe there. Her insecurity is actually facing Security and hence naturally getting attracted to danger. She already said, she does not fear darkness now. She did get nervous when lights went off in studio (courtesy Bittuji), but one concern from RK, set her off and her steely resolve kicked in and she decided to be not afraid of dark. 

Self-Destruction is the current theme for Madhu and RK
If RK's brain is over-working, and he is on destructive path for himself, even Madhu's brain is over-working and she is on destructive path and killing her previous psyche.  I was telling Zoya yesterday, as how when RK confidently went about his romantic dialogues before Shradda, Madhu could not be affected by it and there was so much latent anger coming into her, setting her off...as in blaming herself, how could she have got swayed to that sweet talk and believed him of ever loving her. RK's words and dialogues will now never mean anything to her. Basically Madhu is shutting herself off to RK for whatever she was attracted (his concern for her, his drama), but what she keeps studying from him is his resilence.  She now wants to become RK, that RK that he had so proudly built for himself. Now Madhu wants to become that unpredictable, unreachable, unattainable RK...woh mitti jo kahin se  sukhi hai, kahin se gili hai. She seems to be with him only to get more determined, more and more become that land mine ready to blast should anyone step on her. And this is completely within CV's characterisation and plotlines. They always wanted Madhu to copy RK and that is what Madhu is now doing. Rk even has said this dialogue for viewer benefit..."Madhu/Biwi, you will always copy me".

What I have shown you through the above write-up is that CVs have still their plotlines, characterizations intact. They used Radhaji yet again as the driver for next phase of MEIEJ story like I always say...She asked Madhu to break RK and asked RK to accept what his heart says, basically bring out his real self---her son Rishu. Now please let's not go into debate of how selfish she is etc...even if she is selfish...she is not the one who asked Madhu to slap RK and she is not the one who asked RK to marry her. She is only trying to fix the biggest ever screw-up these two committed. She is making the best of it...and going to the roots...to bring back the person who was lost 17 years back. If she doesn't go by this strategy, how is she even to help Madhu. She wants to have sanity around her like us. It was revenge drama then when she was introduced and more open war. She thought good from other people than her will change her son. Its only because of her that RK started the fake game. Somewhere RK still fears his mother and gives more credence to her than Madhu. And when Madhu rejected RK on Friday, Radhaji never said she was wrong. In the end Radhaji, whatever people may think of her, is a vault of knowledge and will always run things for MEIEJ drama as it should, as a voice of public opinion, ethical sense, societal decorum. On Saturday, Radhaji again voiced out her concern that Madhu is not okay, that something is bothering her. And now we have to see, what she can do to find out what's ailing Madhu in literal sense and how Madhu might be closing out on the world and shutting everyone out of her life. She was so right when she said to Padmini in those early days that yeh rishta Madhu ke liya accha nahin, par rishu ke liye sahi hai...and now she is again right when she said...what twisted relationship both her son and her DIL share with each other, as in she did not get why Madhu would even allow RK to torment her and why after tormenting her RK would want to show her concern.

Then why my page 1 review has words like dilemma, homework...when I am able to see how things are going on smoothly as they should in MBVerse. MB fans can deny or overlook at this, but fact is RK is the TRP puller, and Rishbala is what sells for TRP and MB is what makes RK create the drama for. So the question is what drama I need to get attuned to ? That's my dilemma as well. That's my question to CVs as well, if they have given me an assignment that I can sit through and finish.

Thing is I love the drama and entertainment generated by Rishabh Kundra. And as it from last week, I got the plot hint of the bull dozer being brought down to the site and they have started razing the building...thing is I got bored looking as standy by witness. So I reached out to friends who watch the drama for similar reasons and we were like...what should we do...should we just come back once the mowing down is complete, or just watch the episodes and keep quiet until, we begin to start laughing. For example, me and Zoya, we both are suckers for drama and cheer anything that brings smile on us. We were both so happy to see Shraddha even for those 2 minutes. Well we then discussed. if the present plotlines drive away people like us only to come back in April when something new is expected, then, aren't the TRP going to fall ? Then we went on long ramble and thought, I guess we and viewers can watch other drama...may be Sikky, may be any other fillers, until RK breaking and MB masking is completed. Of course, we both agreed, we cannot afford to miss watching even one episode...else how will we know that CVs have done their homework. And that in our opinion was the case for every MEIEJ viewer.

Now about the illogical flying Fish entry of Avinash Rekhi. That's the PH strategy. They needed people to remember his entry...even if its ridiculous and defies physics.

Now what I request from all writers here over ED and the readers of those posts, please come out of obvious questions and answers. And talk interesting things. Redemption, revenge, realization...why do we have to talk so much that is already being shown explicitly over the content. If you have to talk...don't take it as disbelief that they are showing it a manner you do not understand. If you have confusion anytime, just listen to supporting character dialogues, they throw the hint on what main leads are doing. Always it has been so. The supporting characters pass commentary on the main leads.

And lastly please do not expect speedy conclusions of what you wish to see. That's effectively asking MEIEJ to shut down its factory.  Have patience and enjoy the drama. As it is going to monotonous in coming weeks, we may as well be quiet and not behave like idle-brains talking and discussing anything. The CVs need to build up drama and so we need to give them time. Its presently building time for the main story, so they will come out as builder episodes on some days and filler episodes on other days to keep the entertainment going on.

Since realistically, we cannot do much at this time, if you people want to go on with satirical posts or romantic posts, go ahead and show your creativity.

Jealousy track fails miserably on that law. This is PLAIN LINGO speak for the Average mind to make it easy for them to explain. In fact this track is Realization Track.

But revenge track is explained perfectly through that law. 
  • His revenge plan was "She loves me so much that she will be unable to move on where as I would have moved on away from her"
  • His plan flopped. "Whether she loves me now or not...I do not know...She definitely has moved on...and here I am hinged on to her, unable to move on".

This is the realization. What goes around, comes around. She did not even have to lift her finger to destroy him.  But all that is happening when he is drunk. How are they going to translate it into conscious drama...this is where my patience is fizzling out.


21st March 2013 - RK leaves Mumbai in hurry  to get away from Madhu -post knowing that 2 eyed man is Sultan.

At this point of the story, that was the one of the last dialogue uttered by Rishabh Kundra. And after he left Bittuji asked Radhaji on what happened to Chief and why all those incoherent dialogues...then Radhaji explains...that he is hurt ...as in both Madhu and RK are in hurt state where they are taking each other's poison out.

Then if we drill down a bit...on why Rishabh Kundra was in this disturbed state of mind that his dialogues were NOT BANG-ON, but were confused and incoherent... [Honestly, I couldn't even understand what he said. My response was like Bittuji...Ermm]  it clearly stemmed from the information he received in the Studio...when Madhu told him about Sultan and how she knows him.  

I will have to provide a link for you to read...as that is how I can understand him...because this guy never blurts out his inner feelings,...but in his breaking state, he showed his inner feelings...about him surrounded in pain. This was what upset  him...the parting words from Madhu that others are not sadist like him and that dawning realisation for Rishabh Kundra hit him...


He is the perceived sadist to Madhu and it is true too...He likes to hurt her. Question is why does he want to hurt her ?  Which again hurts him only. Boomerang...Ricochet...and Why did he banish the woman he loves so much, who meant happiness to him, why did he deny himself the happiness...hence his complaint to God for the way he created him...

I would advise you not to take it as final or anything...but I tried to be logical through the developement of the scene/his state of mind since he dreamt about the two eyed man.  But we should keep all of this context in our mind, because, once Rishabh Kundra comes back strong[IF I can hope for that !!!], we will never know why he uttered that dialogue.

The bullet wound on the left shoulder for Sultan, just like Rishabh Kundra, was it to remind the viewers or Madhu ? Fact is Madhu did not remember even once how that guy also had a wound in same place. And as a viewer, I clearly remembered it. So am I to feel good that Madhu did nor remember or chant her Haulon se Veer hoon chant or am I to expect that it will happen in the coming episode ?

Rishabh Kundra thought Madhu loves him. Question is, "Did Madhu really love him in the manner he thought ?" 

He confessed to her that he loves her craziness...as she is, the person she is.  Yes, Madhu can cross any limits to do things the way she wants. However, did he even bother to ask her why she loves him ? And just bothered to take his love test, a test where she was supposed to accompany her spouse wherever he took her" Infact RK was so eager to pass her that he went mad that she even failed, such was his hurt for his overconfident understanding.

I have always said, I do not know why Madhu loves him. It is a mystery to me. And that's where Rishabh Kundra's revenge plan failed. Because in his overconfidence, Rishabh Kundra saw her saving his life as love for him. He asked her why gave blood...and he must have been confused by her answer. She did not give any humanitarian reason of saving fellow human being, she counter-checked with him..."Wouldn't you have done the same had you been in my place?" 
He did not see that she loves to save people, anyone just like that.  Look at her now...Sultan hit on the same side of his body, leaning on her for support, more than Rishabh Kundra even needed, and Madhu had no memory of Rishabh Kundra being shot like that...I would like to believe that people would involuntarily remember similar situations.  But Madhu did not remember. 

Instead, we were shown a day before on 22nd March that Madhu remembered Rishabh Kundra when her mother was treating her hair...Madhu could remember Rishabh for having looked at her in admiration. 

If I go back to drunken night scenes...if Rishabh Kundra is confused with her behaviour, even she is confused by him...she is asking what does he want...why he is after her and hurting bad when left her...he is just answering, you should know.  "Tumhe Pata hona chahiye"...This seems to be the lesson for Madhu, that she needs to learn...to learn being receptive to people wants and not just being forceful and pushing help down their throat.  We have seen how Madhu is insensitive to people, inspite of how she may be correct...she has been pushed away by Mukund's mother, she was pushed away by RK himself and in Sultan's case, don't know what will happen...This is as much a lesson to Madhu as much as it is a lesson to RK to think from his heart as well and not just the head.

Increasingly...the dialogues from RK seem to be holding the key to the story, though they apper tad forced over the episode we watch and yet meaningful as time passes. Likewise Madhu's dialogues, tad forced, but giving directions on plotlines.


28th March - Madhu wants to become mother of Aryan
29th March - Indications of Sandwich situation  for Madhu and she can accept Sultan for sake of Aryan - Package deal.

I would have appreciated if Madhu instead of shedding tears and trying to scamper off after seeing the RK poster, would have stood her ground and gave him a defiant look at him.


Then Madhu listens to the lighter sound and comes to Sultan.

Clearly she has not moved on.  She is just sandwiched and the bathos is that it does not even come across as pathos to me about how she is weaving the web of life around her.  

And she is obsessed with Aryan and that's coming across to me as "Custody Battle of Aryan" between Madhu and Sultan.

The way I see Madhu's want of Aryan's presence in her life, is like Regina in Once Upon a time, wants kids in her life as she cannot have her love "Daniel" ever in life. And what does she do, she tries so hard to please the two kids on whom she set her heart on. Now her whole life revolves around convincing that she can be good mother...but thing is facts don't change...she is not their mother, so she cannot possess them.

And solution is for Sultan to relent and share Aryan with Madhu, which is not sharing at the moment.

30th March - Realization of reality-check and Possessiveness for Madhu in Full Swing for Rishabh Kundra

 Realization 3 - Your indifference hurts me. Your moving on hurts me. Your reproachful look hurts me. I cannot see you with anyone else because you are only mine.
The song of Dilemma and Helplessness
The song was self-explanatory to his feelings. Helpless and confused as to how remove the pain and resolve the conflict.  Now I will say, officially the realization track is finished for him and jealousy track is getting cemented. It makes sense to term it jealousy as he accepted his feelings for her. Each of his imaginations are juxtaposed by realization that  he has lost her, leaving him weakened; only to make him bounce back by becoming possessive of her.

Realization in Full-swing.
Madhu's looks are tormenting him. He cannot look at her without feeling piercing pain within him. Is it shame ? Can I call that ? Dunno. Will wait until Rishabh Kundra gives it a term. Through imaginations, he finally is able to tell her, he cannot be indifferent to her. Almost everything about her affects him. He can be the mean person but she cannot he him. And yet something about her scares her. As if she too is capable of doing what he did to her. He is powerless before her and quite knowing that he deserves all of it, the loss and yet the pain is such that he asks her to stop looking at him.

Jealousy in Full-swing
He did listen to Madhu telling him that there's nothing going on between her and Sultan. Yet he keeps remembering the mistook "kidnap" scene or Sultan and Madhu. RK does not remember that Madhu also told him that she saved Sultan's son. For the first time in MEIEJ history, the passion of Rishabh Kundra for Madhu has come out...More than anything else...at this moment, his jealousy is more concerned about him losing his exclusive rights to see her, touch her, feel and love her. He cannot stand the thought of others seeing her like him or Sultan...if he had done anything. Somewhere he seems to agree that nothing might have happened between Madhu and Sultan and yet is scared of even the smallest things such as looking that can upset him.  He is scared that Madhu is no longer with him, locally close to him and so how can he be assured that nothing of that sort will happen, though Madhu seems to have assured him in his imagination that he did not release her, so how can she be not with him, inspite of him leaving her
More on Realization 
He chose to paint Madhu the way he remembers on Unwedding Drama day. Clearly that is part of his revenge that has turned out be his pain instead of pleasure.

Each time Rishabh Kundra blurts out his status quo of equation with her, she disappears from there as if she does not want to hear what he has to say about them. But as long as he talks about himself or asks about herself and he moving on or the new man in her life, she defiantly stands there.
  1. He says I don't care...you are one of many and I don't have to care...He wants her to actually listen. To his chagrin, she is not there.
  2. He says, even if you like him, I don't care. Did you listen? He turns, she is not there.
  3. He Says, you are mine, only mine, Did you listen ? He turns, she is not there.
  4. He asks her to talk, talk something back (after accepting that he remembers he himself has left her, unhinged her from him, and that she cannot be him in being mean like him).  She doesn't. answer, instead walks away from him. He stops her, pulls her into dance and yet he cannot get any answer from her. Infact, I got the feeling that at that instant he got the scare of his life...what if she too is like him...mean  Anyways the dialogues tell us that he sees her eyes as reproaching him. Then he asks her not to look at him like that as there rises a piercing pain within him. He diverts from his pain to gain authority and again asks her, if the other guy too looks at her in this manner. He turns his back to her. And then goes on to say...no body can look at her and as her face belongs to him and it affects him if someone else looks at her the way when only; he has the right to be looking at her intimately. Did you hear Madhu ? He turns and she is not there.
So basically he imagines her to be "Not giving a damn about his feelings for what he did". Isn't that something ? He expects her to be doing that and her eyes hurt him.  In reality it is not happening...but mentally he feels all that.  Isn't that something.  He is feeling guilty.

His imagination again shows her coming and telling him that she stands there, as he has not released her...but alas the man has realized. She is not there. It is the moment of truth for him. She is not there.

Remember I was saying this yesterday...that Madhu should have been defiant and moved on...  when looking at the poster...
At least RK in his imagination is thinking that Madhu has moved on and now simply doesn't care; even if he says that she affects him; and he can't be indifferent to her moving on. 

What a disparity of clarity between both characters. Just that one is Right Kameena and other is Self-righteous with misplaced sympathies and affections.

RK has pain (of jilting Madhu's affection). How does he deal with his pain. He becomes aggressive to her..as in aggressively trying to possess her again (as if pain from previous possession was not enough for him)...because he has a new interest with regards to her...he has seen her walking and maintaining something with Sultan...so he turns all his attention to deal with "Sultan-Madhu" problem rather than his pain. 

Madhu has pain of not being loved, being cheated, being jilted. How does she deal with her pain. She becomes more loving, she is proactively getting close and closer to Aryan (as if previous attachment was not enough for her)...because she found this special kid who is in need of fun and care and expressive love ...his father is kinda strict though loving him...so she turns all her attention to deal with Aryan problem rather than her problem.

Okay let me write something and then you might get the idea. I am going by Peach's analogy. She termed his dream as Insecurities. His insecurity is always about losing his loved one.  

Its very complex and muddled the way he took the revenge. Part of his subconscious allowed that conscious revenge because that removes his fear of losing Madhu as his loved one. And for that he consciously also wants to maintain that Madhu is not his loved one and he can live all alone in all glory of the life he created for himself.

But he is really breaking down with all kinds of incoherence in his present psyche. That he is being wrong, his subconscious knows and his conscious is able to accept when someone is pointing fingers at him. However as many observed, why not just accept he loves her.

This is where my guesswork starts. His whole edifice of not loving anyone, not making anyone that precious to himself has to be brought down. His issue was that he would be abandoned when he keeps loving his loved one. So he is not loving anyone and no abandonment. But then he now feels that he is dying from within. Now I really do not know why when drunken he said he is dying from within...was he dying because 1) Madhu is no more 2) He abandoned Madhu 3) He feels he lost something precious

Now in today's dream, Madhu comes to him, beckons him, but he sees her hypnotized and drawn to another stronger force, a man who is ready to kill him should RK come in between to fight him.  The dream was like RK was left with no choice but to lose Madhu inspite of the fact that Madhu still calls him and is concerned for him as that man strikes him. As in he is compromised to simply lose Madhu and die anyways. Can he just accept this truth of his losing love or not being reciprocated in love just love keep loving Madhu ? Can I hope for that ? Is it too much to ask ? because then his insecurity will go away. But who knows what CVs have planned for him...turning one kind of insecurity into another insecurity...

Plus in his dream...he called her his BIWI...again sense of relationship/ownership that cannot be snatched away from him...and yet he is losing her. He is again being his own enemy. He has no biwi and he cannot experience any kind of loss and yet he wants to go through that loss...for what...obviously to realize that he loves his Biwi.

Beautiful Emotions: Insecurities

The dream was really that impactful for me. All the three characters in the scene and yes the pathos as Uttara put it was really there.

And don't you doubt it. When you feel it, you always bring it out in your writing. For me the dream was the most powerful scene followed by the denouement of his other scene at the studio. Considering his breakdown through his dream, I was alarmingly surprised at the poise he maintained through his exterior when acting his scene with Shraddha. After being dumped by Madhu, after being shown a image of his in the mirror by his mother, and after the dreadful dream, I thought he may not be able to work. But he respectfully maintained his distance with Madhu and shot his scene. 

So these two contrasting scenes heightened the drama for me.  To me through that dream, I was imagining a RK...who was being bulldozed into a rubble.

Btw...surprisingly Dips did not affect me even one bit. Ever since RK splashed water on her face, she does not affect me now, as soon the CVs show something happening to Dips. I did not like the hug and that touching, but it was nothing new...Dips is every ready to pounce on him when he is in his weakest state...like the time of him being medicated and she comes and seduces him with "Raat Akeli hai"...he imagines it is Madhu.

What I really want to know...and anyone can explain it to me...Of course he was still in trance. Who was RK actually seeing the woman as ? He was trying to call MAdhu and was not finding the number, so was it really Dips that he was seeing ? Because he did not acknowledge her and yet took her emotional support. He did not even register Sikky.  Inspite of all this, I really don't know why I did not go into any convulsions...it was like I knew Dips scene will end just like that...but the dumb expression that I saw on Sikky's face made me feel...Sikky might not even understand even if he sees Dips sleeping besides RK...as in how much dumb Sikky can be. Keeping fingers crossed that Sikky finally grows his brains with this exposure of Dips kalabaazi and dhokebaazi.

Raghuvir Shekhawat was saying that redemption track is on for RK ...and said that if people don't see it then it is their failure. But through your post, he now can be happy. They have activated the dormant buds in you. 

THE DREAM SCENE -Perceptions sinking in - March 21st 2013

Going back to the Dream, Recollecting Sultan and RK Meet......  The Dream versus The Reality
When Madhu said Insecurities, for some time, I was thinking...why did she say that...Then I realized ...RK against Sultan. In his dream...he was concerned for Madhu. He runs after her asking is she okay. And when she doesn't answer and sees her drawn to the two-eyed man, he senses danger and puts himself in between...the man draws a dagger and tries to go for killing him.    So basically RK imagined Madhu to be in danger, the two-eyed man to be a bad man and him getting killed if tried to go in between them.   But later when Madhu tells him that he is Sultan and she protected his kid and nothing is going in between them...RK just recollects his drunken state of previous night and remembers the Sultan...connects the two...He is crestfallen, shame-faced that he suspected that man to be a bad man...that he shall not stop to kill him...Infact the opposite happened...the man saved him.  His insecurity was if Madhu was in danger...but nope she was saving someone...and in turn that person was saving him...and in all of their ALTRUISTIC gestures, HE himself looked the only SOUL who needed to be saved. How bad was that for him...a REALITY hit hard...He was supposed to be inflicting pain on all and enjoy watching others in pain...and yet he was saved and his Madhu had emerged the stronger of the two, who he thought needed to be concerned about.   And what was he insecure about...losing his right over Madhu...his right to hurt her, no one else can hurt her...BUT now what is the reality...She is not his Madhu...He lost that right and moreover...who would want to hurt her except him...so why was he getting so insecure about that...It was pathetic situation for himself...and it was PATHOS all over with that realization that ...even his insecurity was about losing his right as a sadist.
