Ouch! You got me there... It's bizarre - but yes, it's true.

Remember I always say, for any drama and dramatist, one of the biggest character of the drama is the AUDIENCE, The viewer ?  This is the rule of Indian Natyashastra and also the Greek drama. I did not bother to remember tenets from other dramas. 

So Our reaction is the most important one to the dramatist. Its known as feedback. That feedback tells him if he is on the right track. And thing is, it is never about one kind of emotional reaction he wants. He creates something...which is going to invoke any one of the Navarasa in us. For ex: Dips gives me barf attacks. And that Bibhatsa (grotesque) rasa. And I am sure the dramatist likes my reaction. Because he wants to feel that. So it is mutual. He creates, we see and react and it gives him pleasure when it is expected reaction as per him, it gives him pain when reaction is not the same as expected by him. Sometimes, the viewer catharis becomes so emotional for him as well, he is willing to change his own story for our sake.

I was saying ST's Tweet was all about him talking with his audience. At this time from last three episodes, the story is not at all about Rishbala, or RK or Madhu, it is all about US and ST & his creative team. So daily I talk to him while watching the show...I refuse to see his characters and I see his story...and this is where he wanted to build the bridge with us...he was like you love the characters so much that you have forgotten about me...you are not letting me tell my story...they are my characters and they cannot run me, I have to run them...so allow me to tell. He has been very forceful this time with us...and from three days like obdurate, hurt children, we have fought with him ...but we have fallen and we have found our nook and corner and willing to see his story telling, how it is going to playout.

Ultimately the dramatist might say...you don't like my art, you can leave and which we have the choice...and sometimes not.

Avid viewers of TV show "Madhubala... Ek Ishq, Ek Junoon" should expect a major twist in its story, says producer Saurabh Tewari.

Avid viewers of Colors TV show "Madhubala - Ek Ishq Ek Junoon" should expect a major twist in its story, says producer Saurabh Tewari.

"I can't disclose much, but it is a big twist which will shock everyone," Tewari, head of Nautanki Films Pvt Ltd, told IANS.

The show, aired on Colors, recently saw a highpoint, wherein the villain, Balraj Singh Choudhary (Raj Zutsi) was shot dead by his wife Padmini (Pallavi Purohit).

The basic plot of the show revolves around Madhubala (Drashti Dhami), a simple girl, married to a film star named Rishabh Kundra aka RK (Vivian Dsena).

My Day 1 reaction on 4th February

DISBELIEF, DISMISSIVE and YET AFFECTED, CONFRONTED ST and ColorsTV.

Oh God!!! Is it going to be another Balika Vadhu !!!! When Jagya betrayed Anandi, there was so much pain expressed by everyone. LOL!!!! But Jagya had shown his weak traits since the beginning.

So Madhu will not leave him with his gloating win and continue the game. She will become a Film Star...And ofcourse viewer sympathy will be with Madhu as she is running the story. 

Now question is ...how do they justify the original promos...RK leading her into movies. He is not leading...With betrayal of her trust and love, he just pushed into that...that was shoving her...and am I expected to think that it was "Showing a way"?

Also how do they justify RK the character, who went out in the night to find her. He did almost finish her on the Party Night. Nothing was worse than that. Okay he found her to continue his revenge.

And then Dips and Ganesh Visarjan...all sham. So is it like RK called Dips to aid him. This is like reading AA's FF where he asks one of her co-star to aid spreading rumours. LOL!!!!

God!! I feel fooled.

And you know, why many would not leave the show, because they will try to think, 1) there might be a reason or something to salvage RK 2) What will Madhu do?  This will go on until the pain of betrayal is not gone. The viewers are emotionally as vested as Madhu. And they all would want Madhu to win and RK to lose. Another 6 months drama ensured.

1. I fear Trishna most of all. I feel as if she is screaming LOUD in my ears. Did you listen to me ?
2. I also fear Dips TAUNT...You did not listen to me and have whiskey vodka with me.
3. I am shrinking my eyes...thinking Bittuji is going to SMIRK at me.

But then question is HOW DOES VD feel about the TWIST ? Won't his popularity fall ?Some actors leave the show when their character is drastically changed for plot requirement.Seems VD as an actor has no choice...and Priya, may be this is why he was grumpy with the reporter for taking his interview at 1:00 AM in the night.

ABC Drama, "Once Upon a Time brings" lot of Twists...heart-rending most of the times...but they always put meaning...the catalyst for the change justifies the change in the character...and viewer is torn apart between their love for their characters equally.

I like that kind of drama. So HOPE they show something ...the reason for RK TWISTING HIS LOVE to REVENGE.

Now question is...will Madhu live in RK Mansion or leave ? Another big offing...obviously, all soaps work in ONE SET fashion...so She has to live in RK Mansion.

Now definitely this was not the twist I was expecting for the "Saat phera marriage" not to happen, for their "Let's Leave" track to fail.

Seems Siri, Doves, FQ left at the right time. And later others, who did not understand things...And I was like stuck to know what will make her enter Cinema and that is what I was caring for Lol!!!.  

God!!!! This type of Twist is too much.  Come to think of it, which Producer tweets that there is a BIG shocking twist is coming up. I guess ST was scared of the number of tweets he was going to get....the language people may use...Still, it is scary...The man has guts :))), unless he doesn't care the show going down the drain...He has to plan for his June/July Movie project and DD has to participate in JDJ...Hope they don't make DD resign just the way Pratyusha had to backout due to increased stress ...of having to bear the soap on her shoulders and practice the dance.

Come to think of twists...in Punar Vivah...they are being forced to divorce and Yash is asked to remarry,Lol!!!!

Anyways back to logic...if Dips aided his revenge plan...who is going to aid Madhu now...because their game has to continue. 

• In all of this, RK-VD fans will have no issues...he will still be the BBB kind of performer
• Madhu lovers will have no issues...because they will have Madhu the betrayed, now set out to bring down RK
• Real losers will be Rishbala lovers. They will have to wait...but then again...aren't soaps ANTI to Love story. The love will never be successful.
• That's why I say...look for supporting character stories...without them nothing gets interesting. Depending on leads and their love story is like being Devil's advocate to Pain.

Don't worry Ananya, something soon will be shown by someone so that RK becomes bearable for us and we don't smash the TVs. Someone other than Madhu is also going to say something...LOL !!!! God!!! what a twist.

Shri- first off, thanks for mentioning HOHP! Flattered that the actual show reminded you of my little fic.

Second, completely agree with what you said. What was the point of trying to figure out RK's character if the entire thing was about revenge? It takes from being a complex man to being a total caricature- a parody villian so evil that he belongs in a cartoon.

How could any woman want to go back to him? Madhu would have to have a pretty intense case of Stockholm Syndrome to even contemplate thinking of steeping within 5 feet of him, let alone falling in love with him again. Shoddy idea, stupid execution. Which means it'll probably get TRP's. Fantastic.

But then again- if the big twist is revealed by the promo, that can it really be the big twist? Or is it getting us hyped for what we think is going to happen, when something else happens entirely.

Or it could be that I am trying to be too optimistic. But seriously, RK would have to be a total sociopath in order to continue to act even in private, with no one around him, internally monogramming about his father and Madhu.

I'm going to try and enjoy Madhubala until Saturday and not waste a week worrying about what is going to happen. I think that is the best way to go about it. If they do go with the revenge track, then I'll just keep writing my fics and I guess talk to you all in the chat club, as I won't see the serial until they get back on track (6 months maybe?)

And to think, my biggest quip when I saw the episode (before I came online) was that he was going to be drunk when he consummated. I thought he'd forget the morning after. Eesh.

AA, Yes. me too I will stick to your FF. I enjoy beta-ing that and infact one day want it become a complete book. At this point...I am honoured that you chose me for that. Really...though after this fiasco...if it is...I don't know if you will need me anymore. 

Now coming to this bizarre twist...if it is entertaining, then again it will sell. So many viewers were asking for revenge and all. So this way...see the original story has Madhu as pitted against RK...and that point per the promos, he would have done anything to make her enter movies to simply avenge himself.

So now they are going to original premise of RK being the antagonist to Madhu. Anyways we all knew MEIEJ...was all about grey characters. Nobody is right here. How many times I have not said Madhu is just wrong to go after this man initially...sometimes, when one does unthinkably idiotic thing...the story keeps going on...very easy for Soap Dramas to thrive on ORIGINAL SIN. Its like the christian story...where we continue to live our life out of sin.

In all of this, I am feeling bad for VD. Because, suddenly and inadvertantly, a lot has been pushed over his shoulders to call it off...he needs the drama to be convincing. As an actor he may like, not having to play...mushy mushy love scenes...but then he risks popularity chart. But again end of the day, he is a salaried actor, he needs pay check to take home...he knows he might just be the next Viraj Dobriyal (Soubhagywathi).

The real villain is TRP and Colors for Sourabh Tewari and team. The real stand off is between viewers and Sourabh Tewari. He wanted to show something else and people keep wanting something else from him. In my opinion, I would say, listen to the story writer. It is his story. People made him change the story...it might take worse turn to get back to heroine track.

Again talking sensibly...I guess, he had the heroine track only as antagonist to established star, else it would never have happened.

In that case leaves me with ONLY ONE SAVING GRACE STORY for RK...which is his visit to Sitara Studio and his shedding tears there. If this was like the forgotten drama of Sikky stealing Dips jewellary, then for me that is the Biggest Blooper. Since my premise of RK character was based on that incident with prior screening of his anger at Madhu questioning his ego and him losing his control in that bottle breaking scene. I always keep in mind events for him until that point. So how can Sourabh Tewari justify that ?There was no Madhu there.

I suppose it is ST way of getting back to the original premise of the show- but at the same time, the promos were all about RK pushing Madhu into showbiz- he was the one who pulled her strings- a puppet master. If this was all about revenge, then again I ask, where is her motivation to go into films?

I know everyone is like: She'll take revenge on him  and prove she can be a big star. No. Madhu is crazy in love with RK. I have no idea how she'll be able to pull herself together. And even if she does, I don't know how she'll ever give him that much power over herself again.

Not to beat a dead horse, but again- what was the point of the tweet and the promo, if we can figure out the big twist? It's not a twist- like you said, it ST vs. the viewers- he's asking us to have a lobotomy done in order to accept RK's behavior.

As for TRP's? A hero turning into a villan does not do well for TRP's- I know IPKKND had a major dip when Arnav was torturing Khushi. And by doing this ST just ruins the entire track. I won't be able to go back and enjoy the sweet moments, because it'll be all about the revenge.

Shri,i cant believe u actually sent them all those emails. I have the same questions too,just when everything was slowly falling into pace,they had to create this disaster. And what about the sorry to madhu after the court case-it cant be an act,then the social message is nullified. What a build up to a blooper crash landing.

But why do i still feel there is more to the story.

We may be in for a surprise. If ST had not tweeted, we would not have been so traumatised :D, by the promo. But I am still going to tweet to ST and Colors. Twitter  is irritating. I write like i'm writing in the ED and then have to delete, and rewrite. :)))) And I am a staccato writer in the first place. :)))

okay...finally after all this exercise...I watched the promo. Can you believe, that I did all those feedbacks before watching the promo. LOL!!!!!

So now...at least I got one answer. The lakeside set is still there. The marriage or NO marriage is happening at the lakeside. RK is just smirking. It is Madhu who is shocked ...with not as what...as if she is scared...as if she only knows what that face means. 

Really to fathom those faces is BIG TWIST for me

This ambiguous promo and also ST's tweet can also be just to assess viewers reaction... Till now, the CV's have always provided a continuity in the story and justified each character properly but if it's what we are all thinking, then it's catastrophic for me...

IF the promos actually turn out to be the case of our worst fears come true, then it is total character assassination of RK... It is making RK villainous and not the anti-hero we were promised in the beginning...

@Shri: I don't think even the VD/RK fans would appreciate it as it is only ruining RK's character...

Ok!!! I finally managed to catch up with the promo...Does the promo explicitly say it's Revenge? What is it that all of you are seeing that I am unable to see it...  I would like to wait till Sat and see what exactly is the reason behind RK's evil smirk than jump to conclusions

I for one, am not against making RK antagonistic... If it is convincing enough, I would happily buy it, as this twist is obviously going to bring in lot of drama and spice in the story...

Shocking twist to enthrall viewers in Madhubala: Ek Ishq Ek Junoon....

Colors' Madhubala is heading for a big twist in its upcoming tracks. According to the new promo RK (Vivian Dsena) has been faking the love for Madhubala (Drashti Dhami) all this while.

Madhubala who is madly in love with RK and can trust him blindly is unaware of RK's plan.

According to our sources the promo is very much true and this will come as a shock for not only Madhubala but the viewers themselves. RK will finally show Madhubala his true colours and that he has been doing this all the time to take revenge from her. Madhubala will be shattered and broken.

We tried calling Drashti Dhami but she remained unavailable for comment.

We have also heard that this can be a plan for RK to push Madhubala into the film world which she hates.

Do watch this space for updates about the show.

About the new TB article on RK revenge...again ...did you read all the comments ? I don't understand...here we are reacting, there people are happy that twist is happening, you said that mood over the forum is riotous.

Question is what is being honest and what is being fair ?

Means, if I read the comments, I will assess it  as positive reaction.  Then why people are unhappy in other sections ?

IMO, if anyone is unhappy at the articles, track, they should express it openly. If they cannot ...what's the point of checks done ? 

In the end I feel that I am part of an audience platform, which is not mature enough to know what it wants and anything and everything sells...atleast for IF crowd.

Over colors.in.com...there I can see unhappiness expressed as majorly the Rishbala lovers write there. Facebook...its like Kumbh Mela...whatever you write...it is one dot in the the million.

Twitter...I don't know how it is perceived...I have given so many feedbacks...Only Gautam Hegde responded and said, not to discuss work.

If I want to be honest...which I already was...I feel cheated...as of now...because yes, my logic told me marriage and Lets Leave track will fail, due to plot developments...but then with good reasons...never with character assasinations.  Now I am in the same shoes as MAdhu.  If RK is cheating Madhu, for me the audience, the CVs are cheating. Since yesterday...I have been asking myself...in which kind of drama does a dramatist cheat the audience ? Or What  did I not see that he asked me to see. Even if I buy their revenge idea...It would be difficult for me to accept a psycho-man...he is not yet path...because in revenge he did good things for her family...but still the idea of not loving and just faking it revolts me and I feel that RK should be treated for his ****mind. No way it is normal. I would never know when he is real or when he is acting...is it like being schizophrenic...Nope...it looks like that but here is a criminal and destructive mind...only that it is not killing...do you call it Machaivellian mind...Yep...if RK has MOTIVE...if motive, it is not revenge...

If I want to be fair...then I allow the story writer to show me anything he wants. But then the dramatist should also be fair and not try to get my feedback through feeding news to me. He can become a DABH kind of dramatist...do whatever you want and you shall get your TRPs loyally and royally...Making the story consistent  and not twists like this one.

If I am asked to choose, I like honesty and I will not forgive the CVs for cheating me...5 months of my time. How can they go against Artistic mentality, the elevation of mind one has when that song is played...how can they show RK insecurities where Madhu is not even there...The dramatist in no way can accuse me that I closed my eyes...Nope I have not. More than Madhu has been cheated, the dramatist has cheated ME, because him and his character RK took me to places where even Madhu did not go with him. That is ultimate cheating at this point of "NOT MUCH NEWS and INFORMED" circumstances.

WIth this kind of mentality from the channel and Producer...in the name of TRP...I want to be out of this RAT-RACE.  Even if there is a justification to the new twists...with the shocks applied by the producer...I will never be able to believe him (ST)....(just like Madhu will not be able to believe RK...if she has some functioning part left and not gone after the breakdown) ...and I wouldn't want to watch his creations...After all my time is precious too.

Since yesterday...I am in 50-50 mind if I should watch today's episode.  When I watched last night yesterday's episode, I was looking for all fakeness...nothing came across to me as fake. I liked it every minute.  So after watching today's...I might know better what I have to do.

Agree 100%. I am feeling cheated as well. I even tweeted to ST, that at least this will help me get over my addiction to the serial. This particular serial, I thought was different from the run of the mill types. But here they go, destroying  a lead character so badly. I know he may come back, they may get back together, but it won't be the same for me.

Ok, take 2:

1st off, I'll admit- the entire romancing sequence, I was distracted by RK's long lashes. The entire time, I was like "Damn, I want that length." I think its a self defense mechanism. If the revenge track does go through, expect a lot of posts from me focusing on the prettiness of the actors, and nothing on the storytelling and characters. I foresee writing a lot about Madhu's anarkali's going forward.

Second: RK is giving off mixed signals. He does not take advantage of Madhu- ok, so there are limits to his revenge, if this is a revenge track. At the same time, he smirks pretty obviously and evilly at the beginning of the Madhu getting bangles scene. But he asks Madhu's forgiveness, and his smirk fades into a smile as the scene goes on. If this is revenge, RK does not know his own heart, and has allowed his pride to rule everything. Or it could be that he does know his heart, and has decided that his pride is worth more, and is destroying Madhu (her innocence, her love) to rebuild her in his own image- the only way he'll be good enough for her. Taint Madhu to make an already tainted RK worthy of her. I can't see him letting her go, so this is the only way I can justify a revenge track. RK knows Madhu is his, totally and utterly. If he destroy's her, she isn't going to retaliate- she won't have the emotional reserves to do so. And she won't be able to turn to her family- how can she? RK has redeemed himself 10 times over in their eyes. So it leaves an extremely vulnerable Madhu, who is now open to be completely molded by RK- "Madhu you want me to love you- do this, become this. Then we can be together."

Or maybe not. Maybe he is a cartoon villain. 

At the seven pheras scene, maybe he'll spout a mustache and start twirling it around like a manic as he gives his dialogue. 

So posts from Saturday on? All about lipsticks, hair and anarkali's.

RFOL!!!!!!  OMG!!!! This made me laugh in the extreme calmness of my surroundings.

Long eyelashes...

I was thinking from the various angles...how many times they shot for the scene, one camera that looks at DD, One that looks at VD, one far shot looking at the two, One zoom shot looking the two and one Side angle...Five takes.  And how many times, both gave a cue to the other...I move the hand you respond as if feeling it...Man!!! I was just seeing is as shooting scene with crew around and them two acting.

And of course I am pitted against Sourabh Tewari and his team...so I counted how many timed he wanted to talk to me. He talked to me in this manner:

1. When RK refused..."Nahin Madhu"
2. He said Sorry,"Mujhe Maaf Kar do" for something other than what Madhu was assuming.
3. When Ajji gave green bangles to Madhu and empowered Madhu against ill-luck. 
4. When in the car they played their game and RK said...no matter what ...you will always copy me.
5. When Madhu said you say something convincingly true and yet your eyes speak something else and I will catch that...just that Madhu was thinking it was just about loving her...so ST &Co, hinted to me that there are other layers too that Madhu will know and become the detective.
6. When RK said...this is the last day we are stepping into this house...so that means his revenge is complete and he will go back to his scotch and Chicken...ofcourse ST did not say, where Madhu will go after revenge gets completed...as in why RK says he is also not coming back...that he left me with curiosity...but now I give two hoots for his "Interest Creation".

This is how I am gonna watch from now on...and I will learn trends, Media canvassing, TRP creation, analysing Soap Presentation Operations. Yes, why not...I am already bored of my present job and have been thinking...what I want to learn new.

True SD. I truly care 'blah' for  the kind of interest creation they are doing. Because the more I think of it...the more I get really annoyed...why create that whole courtroom monologue by madhu, why make him apologise last week and then he goes back to doing what he apologised for??!! And we are supposed to imagine there is some huge secret he's hiding behind?? 

For me, i hope and hope that Madhu leaves him for a while. We've had too many missed separation tracks, now I really want her to not come back to RK mansion. I cannot handle their eyelocks and missed whatevers. I need a break and so does poor Madhu. And the damned pillows, we did'nt catch on...he removes two and places them back the next morning. he reinstates the nafrat ki deewar!! . And we were lost, just like Madhu!!

I made sense through lot of talking (6 hours of talking)...that yesterday I was upset at thinking RK faking his love for Madhu and taking her for a ride...which I equated to Sourabh Tewari taking me for a ride because I know for sure that RK loves Madhu and that cannot be unreal...that today I felt influenced by the word revenge by TB article. Sourabh Tewari or the Promo did not say or suggest revenge.

Yes...my talking with friends was about ...how does revenge fit in? What is the motive ? We were abhorring the word, cringing at the emotion it invoked in us.

Then we discussed, why RK would break Madhu's heart forgetting everything about marriage. I zeroed in on the point that I once said in ED thread...that

• Rishabh Kundra cannot be a spiritually enlightened person until he learns to let it go. His hurt, ego, his control...He will live in personal purgatory until he decides to have heaven for him. Question is why he is such a control freak ? Why he cannot be ordered ?
• Madhu cannot be fully compassionate person until she learns to understand the 360 degrees perspective of love. Her life has been too rosy with loved parents and everyone loving her for her nature. She needed to lose love to become emotionally sensitive person to hurt, to loss, to understand what hurt and loss means. 

Madhu

Forceful hurt that RK gave by marrying her, she had courage from her mother and the sacrifice she made for her father. She never felt any loss and she fought Rishabh Kundra. It hurts most when you lose what you love and that too if the reason behind the loss is one you love the most. And Madhu...personally my complaint with her was, she is insensitive to emotions which though it makes a formidable person of her, it is not too good and doesn't make her an Understanding compassionate person rather than just being self-righteous person.

All the things that Madhu forced over him...even if he liked her silently without confessing or was just obsessed and peaceful about her existence and presence besides him...are:

Post Studio Track

Ganesha track - She decided for him. He had no control.

She forced him to reconcile with Ganesha. He had to because he had no choice. 

Initially I was ranting in ED thread like so many my other friends then...why would anyone force faith, following on an atheist. We had debated on it at length and I was like get it over with Ganesha track where Madhu keeps forcing him to something. For me setting an equation or repair of relationship with God is deeply personal and I felt bad that Madhu is doing it to RK. Ofcourse, I was not knowing why the track was being played and it ended in him surrendering himself before Ganesha, with no choice. The way it ended it swooped us off our feet...but my regret at heart-filled pleasure was that my good friends then, Peach, Bhoomi and FQ would not partake my pleasure and were like we will come back once this track done. Bhoomi left IF and FQ came back after Ganesha track and Peach was with me,,,,,but like no comments. I felt company in Hima, Sima, Zoya and Preet then.

Getting Shot Track and Shamsher Arrest Track  - She decided to save his life and he might have repaid in kindness by 1) protecting her from loss of faith in father 2) when it came out by protecting her against his family's hostility.

She saved his life twice, and showed him her reasons why she did //that. He had to agree with all that. And in one long day and night of the day following his discharge from hospital...the jagraata track...he saw Shamsher coming to kill him. That night he understands how much she loves her father...and all goody goody things happening and following on to Shamsher Arrest Track.

He was fully in control of everything here and he gets to decide everything for her, except her saving his life.

Karwachouth Track - She decided for him and he has no control.

By this time, we the viewers are sold the love story and we like it. And I was like, I know by keeping the Vrat that HE HATES, she is forcing him to honor the marriage and which Rishabh cannot go back...as he cannot let her down. Like again leaving no choice. I knew that Rishabh hated Karwa Chouth and it will upset him. But in the name of love story, I knew Rishabh will set aside his hostility and principles with the custom and complete the Vrat for her.

What did he get to know of Madhu during Karwa Chouth ? That she can give up her life for her Zid. She is as reckless as him. And she was able to force out of him, which he never planned.

Question: Did he like that all ? As a viewer my mistake is...I never asked Rishabh Kundra...how do you feel ? Did you like it ? All that soft coercion ?

Maybe this is where things changed for Rishabh Kundra and he wanted to control Madhu's love story, instead of her controlling him...to which he was inadvertantly losing.

May be this is where he devised that test of love based...Will you come away with me. It hurt his ego when she turned it down...He got to know, through Trishna...what was stopping her from accepting his proposal. He fixed all her problems knowing then that she will come away with him.

What was again forceful was him reconciling with his mother...but now it was a small carrot to lose himself to her wish in his larger gameplan of controlling her.

An accident in the shape of Balraj happened for him. He could not lose her to Balraj and saves her. She is HIS to eternity, in love and in hate or may be until he lives. So he protected her from Balraj.

Now he is close to execute the final step of his plan...take her away...and ????? I don't know what happens now...what is his plan.

Understanding RK as Superstar and Movie Person

• He cares for his Public Image and will avoid scandal at any cost. He CREATES HIS OWN IMAGE in Media like many real life Movie Stars...like Shahrukh Khan created one for himself.
• I equate RK to two Filmstars that I know

1) Shahrukh Khan - He has said...he is hyper and every morning when he gets up he needs to be someone else other than Shahrukh. He doesn't have the confidence, satisfaction being Shahrukh, the way his wife Gauri is self-assured and at peace with herself. He says, he always acts out, while she is natural and never needs to be an actor...happy in being herself.

He feels stabilized through Gauri's presence in his life. 

2) GuruDutt - He was creative, complex and morose person, though extremely smart and creative. He married the beautiful Geeta Roy and made her sacrifice her career as he allowed her to sing only in his films and then he developed withdrawal symptoms and withdrew from her. GuruDutt was also suicidal and tried two times earlier before finally committing suicide after he completely wrecked himself and sort of wrecked Geeta Dutt. They turned mutually destructive to each other.

There are stories of most Cinema people, how different they are at home and how totally unlike any regular person. They mostly are insecure people and very conscious of their Public Image.

Sourabh Tewari and VD have said that MEIEJ is about what happens once "Light, Action and Camera" goes down...as is what happens once the actor comes away from Light, Action and Camera. What he is like ? What is their life like ?

Now, I have never imagined a easy story behind Rishabh Kundra. I knew he had to be difficult person, a complex person like Virginia Woolf, James Joyce...as in being depressed or being extremely creative forgetting everything else.

When Sourabh Tewari had no love story in mind, may be he intended to show us this publically different RK who is media savvy person, but total opposite in private life. And he would have continued with that. 

Now ST may be he is planning to go to the original story and show RK in true light...which he cannot to anyone as he is private person. He might show himself to Madhu in full as she has been successful in crossing the moat around his fortified castle of himself and also broken his walls. May be the premise is ...precisely at this point, RK intervened and turned chameleon and gaurded Rishabh...with a condition...to let Madhu see real Rishabh only if Madhu gets ready to see him as he is ...all in his badness, his flaws, his ego, his control, his self-destructive traits ...or perhaps may be not...

Madhu will now have to know this person...the Rishabh which the world does not know...which is including the Bhatias and Bittuji. But Madhu will never understand a person like him fully within his world because she is not from the world of cinema nor she is an artist to understand complexities of artistic life.   

Question you will ask me...She was already accepting him...then why faking drama...The answer I have is ...he was not getting a way to tell her that SHE CANNOT DECIDE FOR HIM, that SHE CANNOT CONTROL HIM. She was winning over him leaving no choice and further FATE and CIRCUMSTANCES were AGAINST HIM and they seemed always to help her. And SHE WAS CLOSE TO GET HIM KNOW HIS REAL HIM.

Still...I am with you all...I understand a break, a hurt, a punishment...but I still don't get the word revenge fully...I seem to get it and then fail. All I know is that...only he can control her and he can decide for her. So if love should have happened, it should have been him and not her forcing it out of him.

My musings along the same lines as yours...going over and over the past 5 months. I felt cheated by ST, so badly, because he has been stringing us along just like Madhu, As a viewer, I feel I had the right to know RK'S ulterior motives. But then, if I knew, would i condone his behaviour and still feel as much for Madhu? Would it still be ok for him to play around with her, if i knew?? So I'm resigned to try and understand this complex story...

I have been thinking so much about this track...why revenge, for what? the desire to break her was always there, the love caught him by surprise.  At what point did he fall in love because he definitely loves her to bits..and at what point did his love combine with the desire to break her ?

I have many many thoughts running through my mind, firstly somewhere the KC track was the turning point. Remember he has two outbursts at her. First in the vanity van and second, when she cooks for him. He is not sure of his feelings for her, and she is already keeping a vrat for him, overwhelming him with her effusiveness, forcing him to respond. We never knew what went on in his head that night while he was making the decision to go to her, to break the fast. He was forced to acknowledge he cared enough to break her fast, so that she does'nt harm herself. then he does the whole KC in the studio, he is attracted to her but is it love? he does'nt know. For us viewers, we felt how could he not love her now? But for him, maybe he felt, she is forcing him to confront his feelings. And he does'nt like it. 

Love confession:This is the killer. That whole intense confession, was it an act?? Yes and no. he ackowledged to her he loved her, but he did the love test. Was it his insecurity, dipali's challenge to his ego, or his gameplan all along?? And why??? This is all about control then?? now I'm trying to fathom what you're trying to say above...

 never liked the love test. So am trying to figure out from this point onwards...

i have to go back and watch the episodes to understand further. But as usual running out of time. 

And btw I'm also asking myself...is this all worth it?? , me thinking so much about a serial that is.

Its not about redemption.  Its about pain. I have had a heart-break. And to deal with my pain, I wanted to continue working with it and with faith I changed things...as in  it looks idiotic and OCD behaviour...but what if when your breath stops, heart feels heavy and you feel that sharp pain...the only solution from that feeling is making the other do exactly opposite of what he or she wants us to feel. Its looks like avevnging oneself...but it is beyong revenge, redemption, it just becomes a matter of survival...physical and mental levels both...you don't mind what shit you are getting into as long it gives you strength to recover, recuperate...

Things change later...they never are the same in pristine manner...but all of it makes sense...once we pass the stage of survival. It becomes a highly personal moment.

If I think emotionally, I agree with what you said there Shri. I can totally relate to it. I do no know what kind of heart break you are referring to, but I have gone through one. They say first love changes you forever in a way you will never realize when its happening, you may not fathom until its too late and I believe in it. They also say, the only way to get over hurt inbred by love is to continue to love until there is no more hurt. Only love.

See, that is why I always curb my emotional side. I start writing all crap on public forum.

That is so true. I healed myself in that manner. Once hurt was gone, slowly I taught myself indifference.

You know...in that moment of hurt, its just us and our faith that gets us going with the object of our hurt. The object of our hurt is no longer our focus, it is our heart which is in focus and we start caring for it ...as if the entire body and mind is helping our heart which has stopped functioning. The will power, the mind power gives you the courage to keep on loving because that makes the heart feel good...on side track...all information is fed to heart...look we are doing it for you...just be patient and be calm...

Its okay to share. It helps mutually if you ask me. The thoughts buried in alcoves, get their meaning and liberated. No more feel imprisoned.

Agreed Shri. The opposite of Love is not hatred. It is indifference. But the journey to that indifference, is only through the painful path of love. It took me an year to bring my life back to normalcy, and I do not have any significant recollection of my life events during that year, apart from the fact that I focused myself ruthlessly towards my studies.

And after that year, liberation. 

Re the Montages

MEIEJ Official Page on Facebook had this new montage from Jan 26th.

colors.in.com (the US website) has today changed to the new Montage...the Blue colored one.

My musings:

Old Montage - Selling a Promise of Heroine Track to Viewers.

It was never there...it might have started for that, but ST had to change the track to Love Story and yet the Montage was not changed as he wanted people to guess, now can she become heroine now that she got married to him where eventually hate marriage will become love marriage...we kind of get the premise.

New Montage - Selling a Promise of Rishbala Love Story to Viewers

We don't know if the big twist is about the love story to be broken. Will the saat phera marriage will happen. The question lurks, how will she enter films ? Why the heroine track montage is changed ? Will the loss in the personal love story then be the premise for Madhu to enter the films and gain public love. Then question is how Rishabh and Madhu get back to their love story with the NEW BLUE DREAMY montage where both of them are looking into each earnestly and seem to happy. May be it is just a promise...Why did they change it on Facebook on Jan 26th and I don't know since when they started showing it on TV and why they changed the montage on colors website today,

My Day 3 reaction: 6th February 2013

SPECULATING &  INVESTIGATIVE MODE while watching the episode

Okay my heart beating was high as if I was watching some thriller movie. Seriously !!!!!

Anyways I have two observations:

1. Why Dipali is still the shameless idiot..."Batao Na RK, Batao Na RK"...It is not sounding as if she is an obsessed ex-gf for RK...but more like some young sib asking the older sib...Tell me na, Tell me na ...kind of. Do stalkers behave like Dipali ???? I need to check with some of my buddies. I think they behave like that and ask monotonous stupid questions.
2. They did not show how RK addressed Radhaji.  And on envelop, she is Radha Kundra.  How the hell that happened?? Wasn't she Radha Bhatia ???  And he struck that off to Maa to ape Madhu.

I have one question:

• Why did the "nafrat ki deewar" (pillows permament wall) suddenly convert into heap of pillows at the foot-side of the bed. Why O Why ?

RK does love Madhu. Just that he chose to keep it private or play at his own terms. Anything that is elicited out of him without his initiation, he might not take it well...even if it is reasonable. The timing did not go well with him...I mean I knew this weakness of him even when I was not thinking of him to be faking/taking revenge as per this twist. He is his own enemy for happiness. Self-destructive trait.

Haven't we seen in real life...bosses around us, who though wanting their subordinates to get a solution and  yet will behave as if they did not ask for it...and when they ask it and we do it, and yet they are not satisfied. You know RK is so much dignified than the bosses I worked for when I started my first job.  Another boss of mine would for months (which can run to years also) not approve a solution, just because his ego doesn't allow it...its like for him...why did the idea did not come to me...now why do I have to approve...means he is such an idiot...he is the manager...he gets to approve, so why feel small...but he has to. I am telling you RK is so much better than the real life specimens I have worked with.

Look...not just this theory of egotistical person is playing in my head. I have another equally strong theory going in my head. Just that I never want to speculate too much and putting people to buy my ideas...But I am tempted to give you hope...so just listen out and though it might be just my imagination.

My theory is that (as explained in Media thread yesterday over page 36, I explained RK's reaction to various events when Madhu made him to do something)...it can also be case where his ego too might have understood and seen that her actions are actually warm for him and yet he knows that she is far too innocent, pure and inexperienced for him. AA says that RK wants Madhu to be tainted as him. I don't call it TAINTED...I call it EXPERIENCED. because for me Madhu is this 22 year old woman...whereas RK had to become his own grown up person since 12 years old with no one to emotionally support him and now at 29th year, he is this Superstar...and obviously, he dealt with all kinds of viciousness, competitiveness, deceit, lies, promises, hopes, frustrations of the world. He has to maintain two facets of his life...image in the limelight and person out of it. 

RK has a state of mind which is far mature than Madhu. So as a man who is attracted to this woman, he would also desire in her a mind that not just sees him naked like she is able to and not just heal it, but able to see the whys of his character without him having to sit and tell her. I feel sometimes he longs a partner that is mentally on the same level as him...not just the honesty and courage...the major difference between them is ...she is ideal, self-righteous and innocent...which is all kiddish in true sense...whereas he is realistic, not worried about being right always and definitely not innocent. I feel, this man would feel comfortable loving an experienced woman and not loving just a girl who needs to be cared, respected as a flower. I feel may be the desire kicks in him and may be he would like to make love to her...but I feel his experience makes him stop having an involved relationship with her, when she cannot even fathom the full extent of him...

And so I feel that he is breaking her, giving her hurt, trying to teach experience to her in his own way, recreating her...all by standing besides her like her protector, nurturer...as in he feels alone in this world...now he knows he loves this woman, but to make their relationship permanent, he wants her to know all that he went through...which will make her equal with him...she too now will know how to deal with deceit, viciousness etc...the thing is in this theory...I see that he is not allowing hurt to happen to her through outside sources, but he himself is teaching her.

I feel that many will not understand what I am saying...but I still say...just give it a rest and think slowly. At real it is difficult for an experienced person to talk to ignorant person...it will be like bhains ke saamne been bajana. We yearn to talk to people where wavelength matches. Now in what way RK and Madhu are similar and have a common topic to discuss, except the fact that they are terribly drawn to each other and like each other's attitudes. At the end of the day, RK might want to discuss something about cinema passionately...any topic...but Madhu will never be interested in it. So he is infusing all this into her... Another thing I feel that...he was deeply upset at her risking or being careless of her health and keeping karwa chouth for him and he wanted to teach her like a parent...that not everything can be achieved in life in that reckless stubborn manner...he seems like that already, but she proved to him that she is more than him and may be it scared him too and he wanted to keep a check on that...

Coming to today's episode, RK came across to me as an excellent manager. Never before I have seen him in such control. He controlled Dipali too. Previously he acted sort of weaker before Dipali, today suddenly he seemed to know which string of hers he has to pull to get the desired reaction for him. He seemed to me in today's episode, as a project manager, who was all going ahead with Pre-Go Live execution of his project and if that dry run goes smoothly, he is all set for the Go-live of his project. Such was his poise, such was tension about...it was not about Madhu or Dipali...it was about him in control of his plan of going away and the way it had to be executed. In all of this he did not fail to give support to Madhu...and he made maximum use of Dipali to give her right amount of curiosity and Disbelief. He had to give support to Madhu, because she was his soldier if he was the commander.

For me today's episode was like a thriller.

@Shri - Looks like your tweets seem to have worked as they have been tight lipped so far about this track with no segments from news outlets and resorted to mindless tweets like Dipali' s style  Who cares about Dips whether she is making a fashion statement or not? I guess that's how they are showing that they are not going to give anything out. ST says wait and watch the episodes for next 2 weeks. So, that means at first sight it might look to us as revenge but they will gradually unfold the actual plot. I have to put up with 2 more weeks of torture but as long as they make it riveting which he says it will be then I am all up for it.
