Trishna ke Ghadiali Aansoon aur ilzaam, Woh Cupid bani Rishbala ke liye
Events of the episode
- RK asks Madhu to go her mother and take care of things. Madhu is unable to understand why RK is distancing her emotionally and before she can further nag him to get him to give the real reason, Radhaji appears and tells both of them that RK can now be taken home and that Madhu can go to PS.
- Trishna is crying and asking Padmini to speak something. Shamsher is visibly irritated with her beyond control and drags her outside. He reprimands her to stop shedding her crocodile dears and that she is responsible for this fiasco by failing to warn them in advance and that her intentions were very selfish. He asks her to keep away from family and not be near them.
- Madhu joins Shamsher and questions Trishna why hid Balraj's comeback from family. Trishna accepts that her ambition to become a Heroine overweighed everything. Madhu and Shamsher are disgusted with Trishna. Madhu laments at tha and Trishna swiftly changes the onus of Balraj comeback squarely on RK. MAdhu is shocked.
- Bittuji is also shocked and he refutes Trishna false accusations on RK and explains to Madhu that they did not about Balraj's identity at all.
- Madhu in anger retreats from PS back to RK mansion. She confronts RK and asks him why is he feeling guity when he could not have known Balraj to be related to them. RK is pleasantly surprised that his Biwi understands his true intentions and doesn't hold him responsible. He feels relieved and light.
- Episode ends with RK asking Madhu to trust him tomorrow as well when Padmini's case will start for court hearing. Bittuji comes and informs RK, the time of the court attendance and next day we are shown everyone reaching the high court with media flocking them with questions.

Episode Reviews
Drama continues
Good things:
- Ghadiali Aaansoo ==> when Shamsher says stop shedding crocodile tears to Trishna and asks her to stand outside
- Pleasant surprise ==> I was gearing up for showdown to RK from Madhu and surprise surprise...Madhu actually asks RK not to feel responsible. Wow!!! He is lucky man to have dramatically surprising wife like him who is equally good natured like him
Bad Things:
- Trishna - No one could do anything to her. in the name of drama. I am sure Madhu would have wanted to lecture her for putting the blame on RK, just that Director said, "No Madhu !!!! Not now. Viewers ke liya surprise Khatm ho jaayega. Samjha karo ."
- Madhu - Pati became more important than Maa, when she has hardly time left to prepare Mom for her appearance in court. Madhu, maana you are a Drama Queen and will rescue your mother, lekin thodi insaaniyat dikha deti...you should have atleast gone to mom and yet again tried to make her talk. Doesn't it mean something...The Indian Police as it is do not treat victims for shock, as in no shock absorption words said...as a family and daughter, shouldn't you have tried and said..."Mom because of you I am alive...Please talk to me, talk to us" Sigh !!! May be Radhaji's "Dipali ne sab kuch tayyaar kiya hai" sent her shivers and she decided to go and check on her and RK at the first pretext she has
- The Case is straightaway being registered with High Court. Even before City/District court. How is that possible even in my dream ???! Is it such a SOCIALLY high profile case to by-pass Indian laws, that Govt intervenes or bends its rules ??!!!
- Advice to the director, who can further advise his DOP. Please stop having Madhu and RK looking at camera side when they hug each other. Because when two people hug in emotion and in passion, they bury their faces into each other and not look in different direction as if they are saying "Mubarak" to each other and gale lag rahe hain like in festivals.
Supporting cast...can be shown if they bring leverage to Rishbala. Poor Supporting cast.
Imagine the ignominy that Shamsher had to live in the last three episodes of last week...Fightmaster just getting tied up and able to do nothing. So today, he got some footage by being a discerning man and father, who knows when to reprimand his wayward daughter, if still unable to protect them.
My curiosity still remains around Trishna and Roma characters.
- How did Trishna know that RK was promoting her ?
- How was Roma able to release herself from her captivity ?
And come to think of it, together their filler tracks added around 40 minutes approx of drama for Roma (all 8 episode clubbed together after re-entry) and around 120 minutes approx of drama for Trishna (23 episodes clubbed since Dec 2012).
What does Raza Murad/Kuku Bhatia feel everytime he has to utter to Sikky (Sikander), "aaja chal bar mein chalte hain" Poor Roma, saari detectivegiri gayi chane ke khet mein.
Wish the CVs and us could know, how are they getting the TRPs.January first week was good. Next two weeks VD was on vacation. The 3rd week, there was TRP drop. Tomorrow we will have 4th week TRP. This shall sort of tell us.,..what is actually selling, the romance, the family drama or the action drama or balance/mix of everything,

@Pati becoming imp than Ma: IMO, Madhu was consistent with her behavior there. RK had emotionally distanced himself from her... Whenever a situation arises where she feels that RK is not with her, she is always going to prioritize RK more than anyone else in the world... She prioritizes RK and goes to him... once again puts back all his fears to the grave and displays her faith in him... Then she has RK by her side... and now she knows that he would take care of everything as always... This act once again satisfies the lines of her song.."Bekaraar mein karaar and tu hi maula, tu hi qazi...
@RK promoting Trish:
Situation: Madhu is baffled as to why RK is avoiding her and pushing her away
Problem: They need to make RK the karaar in her bekaraar and hence have to make everything rosy between the couple..For that Madhu should come to know the reason behind RK's stance...
Solution: Let Trishna's big fat mouth run... Uske liye plot-hole created... And Trash Trish spills out everything to her...
Trishna's big fat-mouth was already used once to clear their MU.

Hey Zoya,
That was my sarcastic humour post of the day . I was in no mind to review the episode, actually incapable of doing it. So I just laughed myself off with whatever I could.
I loved reading everyone else' views today. Felt nice taking rest today, but still added my comments. Honest, I was fair in all my comments and had no intention to belittle anyone. I just gave an observation as to what it is coming out as.
And coming to that repetitive Bekaraar me tu hi Karaar clunk...they can axe the supporting cast characteristics and for all that love and screen time of 10 minutes footage, the jodi cannot even create the magic of passion. How much of clunk is that ????
Instead, here I am reduced to visualize passion between the characters reading your posts like fiction...yes, all your lovely thoughts add more fuel to it than it actually can be interpreted.
And hope you will not discard me as senseless person. I know what is passion. If Madhu can forget her mother, retrace her steps from the Police Station, then where is the passion expressed ? Everything cannot be sanely emotional, there should be zany passion also expressed. If that is taboo for TV, then the PH and creatives should refrain from burning out Hum Hai Deewane song for the leads nor they crucify supporting cast.
Anyways your explanations makes me posit a question.
If sense of loss of Madhu makes RK go limp and listless and he becomes self-destructive in pain (we saw this three times, post love confession, post test of love revelation and now today), what happens to Madhu when she experiences loss of RK ? As in give examples.
1) She feels as if her heart stopped, when he was shot
2) She felt resolute in winning him back post love confession
3) She was waiting for him entire night post test of love revelation
4) And yesterday, she was hysterical. And today she came back as if he only existed for her. But seriously did the writer/director needed to add Surprise element there ?!!!! Of course The ED peeps have presented an argument that her drama actually led Rishabh to come out clean with her...but seriously ...was that the way they are going to resolve the tension between them ? I mean, I don't mind anger, but I want anger without surprise. That speaks of her passion. I was watching Junglee (1960's movie) on Sunday...even Saira Bano in that old movie had more passionate anger to tackle her beau. No one needs manipulative surprise when you are confronting your loved one. There is no patience left except to express passion...so question is why does her mind work instead of her heart and passions ?
And seriously enuf of showing how RK gets weaker with sense of loss for her, show me the sense of loss of what Madhu can do to herself if RK were to die. I still feel clueless. Just a hysterical reaction does not give me any answer and after today that cold okay upgrading to breezy hug plain confused me...I was like...for this you retraced from the Police station leaving your mother, who should be a priority to you now...obviously RK was mortally out of danger...and if you did come get him back emotionally, why didn't you say...okay I am heading back to PS.

I agree with you ...Madhubala's reactions seemed too watered down to me for some reason. I expected
1) Her to defend RK passionately in front of Trishna. She should have said something like "Mujhe sochne ki jaroorat nahi ha mujhe pata hai RK ne aisa kyon kiya hoga" or "Didu...tumhari galti ki wajah se RK ki jaan jaa sakti thi...uska zimmedaar kaun hota"
2)When she sees RK drinking, she should have thrown a tantrum instead she calmly wanted to talk.
3) This was the oddest piece, she seemed to display no guilt at all that she was somehow the reason for getting RK hurt or that RK could have died while trying to save her. She thanks him
...instead she should have been feeling guilty for putting his life at risk or crying over what she would have done if something happenned to him.
While RK seems to have self-doubt sometimes, Madhu rarely seems to have the same. With all the drama that she has created in RK's life, never does once she feel that RK might have been better off without her.

Exactly Pooja. You understood me.
You know these days whenever I talk to Zoya offline, I call Madhu as Karta Dharta of MB Verse , that she is Goddess and hence she is always so confident and staid with rarely any flaws that can fell her. She drives the story with her resilience. That sure makes her a great heroine, nevertheless, it is no longer making much sense. Her selective choice of whom she can heal, she can reprimand, talk is making me go nuts. How does it make sense at all when her sister accuses her husband of ill-will or for that matter cursed him in the past, that she just walks away from there as if Trishna did not say anything at all. Isn't it human and ethical not to hear such false words against your husband ??? Come on even Sati (Lord Shiva's first wife) could not hear any falsity/slighting of her husband from her father and she took her own life in some dramatic manner...I mean, people react, people uphold honour and here MB walks away without defending her husband at all. I was close to pulling my hair today.
When we were discussing last, we agreed that RK has take home for entire Balraj episode that he now gets answers to his Kismet Konnection for Madhu. He was able to end the Balraj pestilence from her life by being instrumental in bringing him back to their life. And he nearly loses MB in that. So it makes all the more sense to RK after his hospital proposal, as to why RK and MB chemistry clicks so much. He gets to save her and she gets to heal him and save him for his self-destruction. Equal and balanced.
But when we tried to get the take home for Madhu from this episode, from the perspective of her love for RK; and not being a social message and saviour of her mother; we hardly see anything that MB may verbalize. I remember how we both felt disappointed and then agreed to be patient until the whole Padmini track plays itself out ...may be after that MB will say something of how important is in her life too...and what he means to her...just I love you like I hate you doesn't suffice now at this time of near to losing lives happened with Balraj. There was an almost Death drama there with Balraj having him met before RK set out to avenge himself against Madhu and now ending up with Padmini shooting him down. So how does MB rationalize all this craziness in her life. She cannot pretend that its very normal and it occurs everyday or can occur to anyone anyday. Would she have been able to deal this Balraj drama if Mukund Dikshit was in her life...as in why doesn't Madhu ever tell herself...there was a meaning to all this drama between me and Rishabh Kundra. Waiting for it to unravel...

Exactly I was thinking this when driving back home .
I expected a strong reaction from Madhu but it was opposite of what I thought.
Coming to the episode,
Liked : Malik's reaction when Trishna is crying.
RK and Madhu's convo. But I thought it could have been better. something is missing.
Madhu holding RK's hand and Rahaji holding Madhu's hand when they are coming to court. I like those kind of subtle nuances when they show it.
Didn't like :
MB's reaction to Trishna's words.
Expected a strong reaction from Madhu.
@everyone nice analysis.

RK and Madhu, these 2 people are hopelessly in love or 2 hopeless people in love?
yet again the epi. was low on logic and high on bewakoofi...
RK was hit behind his head , and he was hit so many dandas on his back..he went to the hospital in emergency , next minute he was out of danger, next he was up talking to Madhu and after 5 mins, he was allowed to go back home where Dips ne tayyari kar di (WHAT tayyari?) next he's abs fine enjoying his drink , woh bhi neat !
shamsher Trishna scene was good, but i didn't like Malik's acting tht much Madhu joined him ..the blame game...but the scene fell flat...how and when did Trishna know that RK was producing the movie for her ? saari duniya par blame, bittuji (ne koi chaanbeen nahi ki), RK (ne gameplan banaya revenge ke liye) , Balraj (came to Trishna, Trishna didn't go to Balraj) but Trishna baby is innocent forget feeling remorseful, she's tht shameless to pass the blame !! I was desperately waiting for Madhu to defend RK but aaj bhi nahi dekha? hopeless case.. she was reminded of RK's cold behavior n she ran to him !! arre 2 baatein toh suna deti
RK Madhu scene was bland...no power packed dialogues, bas ek bechara hopeless lover who's guilt ridden n is scared ke Madhu might leave him. seriously? i didn't get it how he came to this conclusion ke bec. of all this, madhu will leave him...toh that's why he admitted in front of her ke it's ENTIRELY his fault. Madhu doesn't need any reasoning or explanation..i love her Leela u were abs right, she's very different from the rest of the telly heroines...
their "tumne meri jaan bachayi" and maine apni jaan bachaiye was and the hug.
the very next day the case is in the court? that was real quick ! usually it takes 1-2 weeks to file the chargesheet only ! initially, the accused is produced in the court for tht bail /remand permission, the case proceedings take very long to start...nyways this is MB land so i'll ignore it...what i found very funny was TV channels taking Padmini's interview n asking her "apko kya lagta hai court ka faisla kya hoga" WOW ! i've never seen that happening ke ACCUSED is being asked to give a statement , it is not allowed in the first place...then the lawyer is telling PAdmini ke hamara case kamzor ho jayega , aap boliye, the judge must be tired of the filmi family
poor episode overall...tomorrow will be no better i'm sure..i think Padmini will not speak at all. i hope 20 mins usko bolne ko na kehte rahe bas

Hi, all - already see about twenty ideas here I would not have thought of! (As usual)
But for some reason today the lack of logic didn't bother me too much, as today was the day (ironically) for halla boling from all the right characters. Except Padmini. But more on that later.
It was good to see Malik finally finding his voice, even if it took awhile and he unleashed it all on Trishna in the street. (In front of the "Mumbai High Court", according to the sign, which for unexplained reasons seems to be temporarily located in some back gali of Sajjanpur or somewhere. All we needed were two policemen in their innerwear shirts chewing paan on the stairway and. voila! Set complete. It's MUMBAI, location scouts...metro hai.
And speaking of this magic village court, Shri is right. We cannot even fast track the murder cases of the highest international diplomats in India - how did they get Padmini into trial at nine o' clock the morning after the murder? Actually, a case like this in reality would not be given a fast track at all. And particularly considering that stars prefer to avoid public court and the like, I do not think the speed of trial can logically be explained by RK's status. So in this aspect the show was just swimming around in the fairy-tale waters of soap-land.
The other halla bols from today were good, too. RK was able to speak his worries, which must be a new task for him. It was a good touch to show he even needed his old crutch of daru; it illustrated how untried this territory is for him. He really did think she might leave him and the thought was enough to bring the whiskey back to his hand - his old way of dealing with indescribable pain. But his new way - letting Madhu help him access his feelings - was the saving of the situation, as she was the next halla bol (softly, I know, but with instant conviction.) Her firm words dispelled the clouds of guilt hanging over him. Today I really appreciated both of the characters - Madhu does not waver one instant in her sense of loyalty, and RK, once back on firm ground, is able to focus both on his sense of righteous anger (at Balraj) and his concern for the situation of his sasumaa.
But the shiny new award for halla-boling today goes to...BITTUJI! When he came barreling up to the papparazzi, I actually cheered out loud for him! As usual, he is effective, to the point, and draws no attention to himself other than the minimum needed to get the job done.
So except for Padmini, everyone is talking up a storm. The precap is absurd. Were there no credible witnesses that they have to rely solely on Padmini's testimony? Let's think...who was there? Umm, only an entire baraat, a team of naach girls, Madhu, RK, Trishna, Malik...okay, you get the point. But, I mean, even if Padmini has lost the ability to speak for life (which, don't worry, she hasn't. TRP's are at stake here), there would be a gaon's worth of eye witnesses to start the ball rolling. The only person in the whole epi who should rethink hallaing bol? Padmini's lawyer Sheesh. Hai na?

An excellent ep.
Madhu's anguish at RK's distancing himself from her, and his guiltridden silence. But Madhu has come a long way from the time when she had asked the inspector why RK couldn't bring himself to apologize for the hit-and-run.She knows now that even with guilt, he can't say a 'sorry'. Self-flagellation and destroying himself bit by bit is easier. And it has been a long time now that she has had no need to know when he is doing his self-destructive tormented version of 'sorry'. Her focussed attention, her gaze sharpening, when Trishna started to shift the blame onto RK, and her leading statements to RK in the mode of "It's your fault" to get him to admit outright what she had realized was the problem. This was the third time RK had turned again to drink after letting that habit go.
And this time - with her mother just as much in need of her support as before - Madhu didn't dither for even a moment before racing back to her husband instead. When she emotionally gets to the reflexive level, she can't think of anything besides RK, especially not if he's hurting.
Shamsher's, Madhu's and Bittuji's disgust of Trishna was palpable. She is beyond brazen. RK brought Balraj back into their lives? Really? *Trishna* saw Balraj and recognized him, and *she* made a choice to not inform her family or reject the psychopath's offer. RK was never part of that. And did RK tell her to go to so much effort to conceal her murderous biological father's return? How the heck was Trishna *not* solely and entirely at fault for endangering her family? And for what? Her ambition? Madhu, Padmini and Shamsher - all their lives mattered less than Trishna's aspirations. Madhu almost died. And first RK almost killed Balraj, and then Padmini did kill Balraj. Her sister's blood almost spilled, and her mother with blood on her hands - all thanks to Trishna.
The court situation's high point was actually not within the ep itself but in the precap. The lawyer's plot-clunky statements were designed to rev Madhu up to stand and let loose in her mother's defense as shown in the latest MEIEJ promo.

Leela,
Your write up on episode and on Rishbala was much more enjoyable than the episode itself.
After reading everyone's comments and episode takes, now I feel like watching the episode again in the evening, remembering just what you wrote and not applying my mind at all.
@drinking
Well...forgetting the fact that RK ...being medicated and not being able to sit so upright right after discharge from the hospital...if I see the drinking NEAT scene...well thing is alcohol benumbs the mind by dissipating the concentrated thoughts about what we are thinking and agitated people and used to addiction, will naturally reach out to alcohol, so this trait, I do like it, though as Bhakti pointed out, he is quick on stopping as well when he sees Madhu around him. That fear and his reflex to stop when Madhu is there is nice touch. I like it. The guy used to drink so much...its admirable that he can live without drink when his wife is around him.
And more than benumbing his mind from agitation, I guess even the slightest emotional distance from loved ones and now especially Madhu makes him an Insomniac. Right ? Couldn't that be reason, he keeps on getting up even on a hospital bed or at home. The guy rarely has heart-filled slumber...just that now his loose slumber has pleasant and secure feeling that someone is sharing space around him in that night. God!!! what kind of crazy kid he might have been to distance his mother that stubbornly when young and how much the mother relapsed into personal guilt that instead of slapping her son out of his obstinacy, fanned the growing distance between the two. Sleeplessness...most dangerous bimaari of all ills!!!!

Hello Everyone,
Hope all is well with you ladies. I have been absent from the board due to hectic work schedule; plenty of active projects and less help power. Anyways, I dearly miss reading your thoughtful reviews and analysis, and will try to visit the thread more frequently.
What I really liked about today's episode was the contrast of characters: RK the selfless one, and Trishna the selfish one. RK willingly accepted the blame and claimed the responsibility of his actions even though he wasn't aware of Balraj's connection with Madhu. Trishna, on the other hand tried to find a flimsy excuse for her self-centered action and never acknowledged her mistake. Today, Trishna's accusations were just plain disgusting. Her so called dream became a nightmare for the entire family, but still has the audacity to defend it. For God's sake, someone should slap the hell out of her (it can even be Roma, I won't mind it), I just want to see her get punished at least one time. She has had a punishment free card on her wallet from the beginning of the show; someone should check the expiration date, her guilt free transactions must be stopped!!!
And a reminder to Madhu: Dearest Madhubala, with a sister like Trishna, there is no need for people like Dipali or Balraj in your life. Indeed she is your top ranked enemy and rival, so beware of her intentions and actions for they might bring another storm and chaos in your life.

The forum took to blame game like Trishna yesterday and were saying both Trishna and RK were at fault. And I was saying there was nothing to be judgemental there and that they are just bringing in character contrast between RK and Trishna in yesterday's ED Thread.
"Its just a character difference that they are bringing. While Trishna has no remorse and trying to blame a man because of whom she is alive now, and RK has lot of remorse inspite of the fact that he just got to know who is Balraj and he already saved everyone..."
