RK's 5th Anniversary in Film Industry Celebration
Episode 153 Discussion: 25th Dec 2012
Events of the Episode
- RK tolerates Dipali's presence in the party. He had invited Madhu's parents as well. Padmini and Shamsher Malik arrive and the party begins through cake cutting.
- RK gives a short speech on how he had dreamt to be part of the film industry since he was 6 years old. He narrates an incident and also shows everyone the man who found him when he was lost in the studio, sleeping under a table. And he proudly tells how he has been happy working in the film industry and is thankful to everyone who has been with him for last 5 years.
- With that he cuts the cake. Everyone asks him to feed the cake to Madhu, but Madhu asks to give the first bite to his mother. RK does and takes his mother's blessings. Then he goes and takes blessings of his in-laws (Padmini and Shamsher). Madhu profusely thanks RK for listening to her and making up with his mother and taking care of her parents.
- Meanwhile Padmini remembers Balraj and how she gave birth to Madhu at Natraj Studio. Shamsher asks her to forget bad memories and that he will be always there. Then he, Madhu and Padmini have cake together. RK watches their exchange of pleasantries together and is extremely happy. Radha watches him enjoying the sight of Madhu & her family with pleasure. Dipali too watches RK, and comes close to again poison his mind as to the strange relationship Madhu's parents, but RK sends her away rebuffing her attempts. RK asks Shamsher and Padmini to have lunch and leave.
- And lastly, all this while Balraj has been trying hard to get in only to be turned away by the security gaurds. He is finally able to sneak in as delivery man...but is again caught by gaurd and being sent off. In all of this commotion, it seems to us that may be Padmini and Balraj must have seen each other.
- An aside...before the party began, RK had dropped the mysterious note/letter from his pocket, which Madhu chanced to see. Instead of giving it back to him in propriety, she slyly reads what it is and slips it back into RK's pocket. Bad manners Madhu !!
Episode Review
Episode rating - None. (In restropect....becomes A)
More drama unfolds. Just wait and watch.
What happened...
- Party is going on.
- RK has made up with Radha
- Padmini and Balraj seem to have seen each other. I cannot trust my own eyes, because we never know, how the serial wallahs will dupe me tomorrow. So I will not trust my eyes until I hear some dialogues.
Only three questions came to my mind when I watched the show today.
1) What was in the letter ?
2) When will RK know that Madhu was born here in this studio ?
3) Why is RK confusing me ? If he really plans to leave, why is he saying that there will be more celebrations to come. in the next 5 years?
Much of my thought process is still hinged to my yesterday's take. The composure showed by RK towards Dipali is okay by me, but it did not leave any satisfaction to me. His taunts to her about where is her 5 year party was a good googly to her. And the way her face fell at RK-Radha reunion, it was good to see the objective side of it. Because the more RK is calm and composed with her, the better...the indicator that he is getting away from her. But the TAUNT itself tells me that their CHAPTER together is not yet closed. So when is that going to be closed...is my concern. Shridevi ...have patience. All great things come at their own sweet time.
What I really did not like, is the characteristic trait in Madhubala...of prying into others things. I am so vehemently against people violating privacy. Instead of just handing over the letter to RK or telling him that something has fallen from his coat, Madhu needs to pick it up, scan it and put it back slyly again into his pocket. Its like that time, when I was ranting at her opening Shamsher's trunk and prying his things.
If she was my daughter, I would have slapped sense into her at trying to be prying like that. She is not a detective/police to scan everything. Gosh! she is with people, who have their own agenda. She can scan if she feels threatened or she needs to be a care-taker. Is she either ?
And Padmini-Balraj story has started. Good for me! I can watch something else than Rishbala and analyzing them...which is increasingly getting boring.
And the long suspected agenda from RK comes true. I knew he would one day try to give Padmini-Shamsher nameless relationship a name. Coz he was the one who was blasphemous about it in his cynical state in the beginning and when he knows it is not at all the case, he is doing what exactly I have been thinking for Padmini from a long time. What happens to her once her children get settled. How will she live with nothing else on her mind. She needs to have a companion...she has every right to think about herself. And likewise, Shamsher too. So good that someone voiced it out...not as something to be done for social approval, but as something desirable on personal relationship basis...as something wanted for self rather than others. Excellent !!!

A nice, well balanced episode. Everyone stuck to their characters...
RK- Radha scene was done well... The actors were brilliant in the scene. Radha annoyed me yet again when she looked disappointed when everyone hooted for RK to feed Madhu! Did she expect he will feed her 1st? It was his wife for heaven sake... why feel jealous? RK seemed relieved to actually get an opportunity to seek blessings from his mom... something like he felt on the day of the ganapati visargan... to just let go of everything and bow down to the almighty. I still feel she could have blessed him even before he bowed down for ashirwad... that would have made it a lot more special for RK or she could have at the least fed him the cake. For RK's sake I want Radha to become the mother he pines for rather than accept her because his wife goes 'please' and 'thank you' everytime.
RK knows how to make everyone go Awww... one such moment was waiting for his inlaws and taking blessings from him. Was I the only one who thought he was highly emotional when he hugged Malik? Is he trying to seek a father figure in Malik?
I was super trilled when RK recited his 1st experience in the film industry which was when he dreamt of being a part of this industry at the age of 6. It was sweet to see how fondly he spoke of his industry. It makes me even sadder that he is willing to leave all that behind only to prove to himself that he is capable of being loved. I just hope and pray that Madhu took notice of these lines and realise that she cant let him leave all this behind just to assure him that their love is for keeps. She needs to get to the bottom of why RK is adamant about leaving his fame behind and deal with it. If Dipali threw him a challenge to leave everything behind, then it is only fair that Madhu challenges him to fight for their love staying in the real world.
Hmmm... Padmini has sensed the danger and Malik has sensed that she is disturbed and why. It was assuring for her to hear Malik say 'jab main apke saath hoon kis bath ki chinta hai' and there was so much trust in Padmini's eyes. Malik is right... 'purane zakaam sirf nishan chodjate hain... dard nahi'. Padmini has overcome the pain of her past, it is the scars that remain. And that is all there is to the Padmini-Ballu connection. Padmini sensing Ballu was plain survival instincts and defensive mechanism kicking in... nothing more.
The Malik's made a happy family... and RK looked on with a smile. I wish he had joined in... I want him to feel a part of that family. It was kind of symbolic to have danger lurking in the form of Ballu and the Mallik family's happiness being watched by RK. It will be trying times for Padmini and her kids but with RK and Malik behind them they will put their past to rest finally.
With each day they are trying to show the depth in Padmini-Malik relationship. I thought Malik will indulge his daughter and will go for the cake... but he took Padmini's side and said he wont have it... only to share it with her later. RK watching the scene unfold was what I was hoping for. The other day I had said that it has to be an outsider who notices the interaction between Padmini-Malik and cares enough to get them together because their daughters are too used to seeing them together yet apart. RK just had to knock some sense into their kids and he is doing just that.
I guess Padmini- Malik will be a full blown track with Ballu around going by the article which said pallavi is excited about the next track. It could turn out to be a good track if handled sensibly. I want RK's complete nvolvement in this. Maybe they should have a groom and bride's side. RK with Padmini and Madhu with Malik. I will leave out Trishna for the time being cause she is going to jealous that it was Madhu and RK's idea... but I hope she will come around. I can so picturise a RK telling Malik to take care of Padmini. It will be quite something to see RK take up the responsibility of a son and give her away(thought it doesn't make sense). I want Radha to realise that her son doesn't hold her remarriage against her... but holds her choice of partner and her negligence of her duty as a mother against her.
Oh I am super glad that RK didn't entertain Dipali or the insecurities she hoped to overwhelm. I was sceptical especially after seeing RK's reaction yesterday. Mr fave line for the day 'kala akshar dipali barabhar
Wonder what was in the letter? Madhu knows it... must be something got to do with Radha? If so I want Madhu to give her muft ka gyan to radha than RK.
On the whole a nice episode... would have been perfect if it had a nice RK- Madhu scene.

Merry Christmas everyone:)
It's all about loving your family:)
It was quite a happy episode but with the impending storm trying to make it's way into everyone's lives.
I have already gushed about RK-Padmini-Malik in one of the previous threads. So I wouldn't again repeat how happy I am with today's scene of theirs esp when he says "sab nahin aaye" and he was waiting for them...Today's episode just went on to reiterate that Padmini-Malik holds a special place in RK's heart to such an extent that his happiness and celebration would be incomplete without their presence and blessings.
RK's speech where he said that he was born for this duniya and then he going onto talk about his coming years in this industry has just made me hopeful that he has worked up quite a sensible plan in his head when he is telling Madhu that we would leave everyone and go away. This parde ki duniya is where he found solace and happiness and he is immensely passionate about his work, he just like that won't give up all his dreams ainvayi.. But anyways lets see what the future holds for him...
Malik-Padmini scene- the bottomline is that Malik was there, is there and shall always be there for Padmini and we all know it.
Malik-pads-Mads family scene with RK witnessing their heart-warming moments was quite touching for me. RK was smiling at the family happily giving them privacy. This is the kind of family he had always craved for and he is vicariously getting it through Madhu. Radha was just standing there and looking at him seeing the Malik's. She could have just gone upto him and said ki am still here and you have not lost it all but no. She, like always wants someone to hold her hand and be by her side.. She can't take the big step herself... Madhu can't always be pushing her down RK's throat every time right... and Madhu plz stop trying, she is always going to be behaving like a baby scared to stand up by herself...But anyways main apna dimaag kyun kharab kar arahi hoon... For me, Radha is a completely lost case.
RK-Dipz was their usual thanda scene:( Dude, I expected much more from you:(
Madhu was quite shocked even after reading the letter... Had it been from Rads, she would have given a warm smiling expression after reading it na? Chalo, the case of the mysterious letter continues...

Damad ka sasu aur sasur ke prati pyar was the hightlight of today's epi.
He just cherishes them as if they are his own parents. Just loved the way he looks indulgently at the banter that Madhu, Malik and Padmini were sharing. He so wants to be a part of it.
Madhu, you sly thing!!! Reading other people's letter without permission!!!. She did same with Malik's things as well in the past.
Well I think that is probably what she got from Ballu. I know it is not right thing to do but I liked her behavior. At last I found a vice in her which makes her human!! yippee!!!
Though I seriously question RK's peripheral vision!!!
Kahan khoya tha ki dekha bhi nahin bajume khadi biwi kuch padh rahi hain!!!!
Ballu was Ballu!!! Doing everything to crash the party!!. The more he was driven away, more he tried to get in and succeeded too. Lagta hai chaudhary parivar ke sab sadasya ziddi hain.
Malik Padmini interactions as usual handled with usual delicacy.
Now pardon me for applying the logic here.
How in the god's name Padmini Malik will get married before she gets her previous marriage annulled? RK's thought is very noble and all but this slight legal glitch needs to be overcome. Even though both RK and Madhu are unaware of what a vile character Ballu is, Padmini certainly knows. Wonder how that track will even get started!!!

Nice enjoyable episode. Quite delightful to watch if you ignore couple of things.
RK is eagerly waiting for his sasuma ans sasurjee before starting off the celebration. They have now become an integral part of his life. RK cuts the cake and relives his first encounter with this filmi duniya and how the desire to make it big here was sowed when he was 6 years of age. His speech was short and quite touchy. Now, coming to leaving this industry, I hope he definitely has something worth planned in his mind. He seems too passionate about his acting, about this film world too leave it all in a jiffy. On one hand he says it's just been 5 years for him, and there are many more years to come, on the other hand the plan to go into oblivion is still on. So, is it like a short term plan for him to get away from everything and live an ordinary life with his wife? Too confusing. But, from past couple of episodes, I have a feeling there is a lot more to his desire of getting away from everything than this Deepali's challenge.(Thanks to kt25. I finally seem to agree with you). It looks as if he was waiting for the right time to take a break from show biz. Anyways, we will get to know more as things unfold.
Coming to RK-Radha milap, quite nicely done. The look on his face when he took blessings from his mother conveyed as if he was longing for this. So, good for him.
Today, I felt we saw a step further in Malik-Padmini relationship(expected, as their marriage is coming up). I loved the way how he assured her that while he is there, she need not worry when she senses evil around her and thinks of her turbulent past. RK observing Malik-Padmini-Madhu from distance was very sweet. He was indulging in the happiness of his new found family.
Now coming to RK-Deepali scene, seems like he did give his first shot on the day he broke up with deepali or the day she got married to sikky, coz he asks he asks her why isnt she celebrating with sikky. Was it just me or did anyone else also feel that the tone of his conversation with deepali today was a lot different than any of his previous conversations with her or am I just imagining?? He seemed a lot more composed and relaxed, rather than disturbed and disgusted as he used to be previously. And the dialogue of the say surely has to be 'kala akshar deepali barabar'...
Nevertheless, lets hope we get closure on RK-deepali soon to move forward.
Ballu is one hell of a ziddi man. Pani pahuchane ke bahane andar ghus gaya and the guard says 'bohot pani hai yaha. hume nahana nai hai'
I think the last part was just a catch for audiences. I am sure kuch gadbad hoga and they wont be able to see each other.
Down point of the episdoe:
I was really disappointed when Madhu secretively read that letter fallen off from RKs pocket. It was truly disgusting. When will this girl learn?
But the mystery of the letter continues.
Precap: as we all expected, damad sets on the mission of sasuma-sasurjee milap. How sweet.

I will try to analyze today's episode. More on an intuitive level, on an emotional actually, because I have a problem with not knowing the language of the show is broadcast. (Even my English is not very ...)
Like this: For the first time since the beginning of the series, I felt that RK has feelings for his mother. I feel for the first time, that she is his mother. For him, this act would mean more, or at least equally as Radha. He did not even bother to hide his emotions. It seems to me that he felt like someone was thirsty and you offer him water. He was not angry with Madhu, but agreed to move closer to his mother, in fact, is grateful that it helped him in this.
While RK looked happy family: father, mother and daughter, it seems to me that he had a feeling that he belongs to them and that they belong to him, that his mother was also felt. She thanked God for the fact that RK has such a solid foundation for the establishment of his family.
In today's episode of Dipali bothered me, but I think it was needed to make our reminded that there are evil people.
As far as Ballu, for the first time since returning to the series, it felt somehow primordial evil and madness that he carries. It will create a lot of headaches, unfortunately.
And, while Madhu as childish and "brainless" (without thinking) read the letter, I just thought that it would Dipali to use, in fact it will soon have a chance to get to the letter and to exploit what it says in it.
All in all, a great episode.

There is a woman who fled from her husband to save the lives of her daughters and self. She finds another man their savior. The man always shielded them from all grays of life. She was able to bring up her children in safety and provide them the sanctity of family and all, only and only with the help of the man. They are together and are more related to each other than any other relationship yet their relationship does not have a name.
This same woman was ridiculed by her SIL for their illegitimate relationship once upon a time. Now he has engulfed them into the fold of his family and looks up to them with so much reverence. He waits on them. He is so relieved and happy only when they arrived on the scene. He feels blessed and calm when he gets their blessings without anyone urging him to do so.
The mother, with a son when widowed remarried another man. The reasons behind her first husband's death and the circumstances under which she married the second man in her life is still a mystery. But she claims that she had no choice but to remarry and that she did that for the welfare of her child. Agreed. Looks like she didn't have any intention of ruining her son, although she did hurt him emotionally beyond repair.
Now the son who could not forgive the mother for mistake (in his eyes) is not only able to forgive but, as a SIL, is also able to go to any lengths to make the other woman and her savior happy. To the extent of getting the duo married and legalize their relationship and give the relationship a pavitra naam. Here as a SIL, the man is able to understand the relationship of the woman and her savior. The same man as a son is not able to forgive his mother so easily for the very same step she took years ago. His own wife had to push, shove, urge him to take those baby steps towards forgiving his mother. Although he wants to run into his mother's arms and just cry his heart out, he does all that his wife says with so much deliberation.
Which version of the man, SIL or son, is right here? Why such contrast in handling and understanding relationship?
Responded to Doves by SD
Doves,
Simple to answer.
It is Rishabh the child pitted against his mother. Children have every right to be possessive of their parents. Its is parents who have to teach sharing to their children. Radha did not exlain that to Rishabh...and he just cut himself off so that she need not be burdened with him.
Its Rishabh the child who sees Padmini as one who did not re-marry even when she had the chance and even when her children liked Malik as their father figure. He sees in Padmini and Malik, how they loved their children and were always there for them, sacrificing themselves.
Its Rishabh the adult, who' sees in Padmini and Malik, how they taught their children to share relationships. It is the adult in him who sees, how two deserving partners are not thinking about themselves and that they should.
It is Rishabh the adult, who sees that Radhaji made no mistake in re-marrying, even if that was as bad a choice as Kuku Bhatia. And so he continues to support her and Bhatia family because she loves him in her own way and she would not want him(Rishabh Kundra) to disrespect his father's memory. If we remember, how he assured Radhaji that he will never do anything to belittle his father's memory, we already know what he feels for his mother. This scene was right after RK brings back Madhu from the studio. So somewhere his mother though estranged from him was still his guiding light for moral propriety. This is again shown in the painting scene how she tried to nurture his artistic skills.
He sees to it His mother and her family are provided. All he asks from them is a token of appreciation/ a blessing for him, and not fear or greed for more material wants.
We just cannot judge the man here. He is so right in every way. Even in his cynical state, he first tested Padmini and Malik with all taunts, before he completely took them under his fold. The guy just looks for worthiness before he can bestow anything on people.

Very nice epi today. I like how the Rishbala relationship is moving forward and how RK is slowly healing his wounds with his wife's help. Shri said it beautifully- once the hurt is articulated, it is halfway healed.
Whatever dislike we have of Radha, and yes I am calling her Radha today, she is RK's mother and responsible for making him the complicated man Madhu loves. The relationship has to heal for the Rishbala relationship to be somewhat healthy. I say somewhat because it will never truly be a healthy relationship- both are too eccentric and RK has too much of an artist's mentality for a normal, productive relationship between the two. Whatever happens, like I have said before, these two will be the cause of each's other highest of highs and lowest of lows.
Today we saw how slowly RK is healing all his relationships, but the irony is that he plans to leave everything and everyone behind- it's kind of like making peace with the world before you take your leave- everything has to be done before you can go. It's like RK wants to do just that- because Superstar RK will be gone, and Rishab will be left in his place. But RIshab has the same relationships- and more importantly Madhu places a high value on those relaionships, so how will both of them truly let go? I wonder if RK has thought this plan through...because it is full of holes.
re leaving the industry- I still think its because of his relationship with Maddy- he chooses her above everything and everyone. And he wants her to do the same- the only way to do that? Cut asunder all other relationships- he even tells her- "what will happen to your mother when we leave?" I don't know about you guys but that statement does not indicate that RK plans for there to be visits home when RIshbala leave.
So I'm a little confused about RK's state of mind going forward-but we'll see where the CV's go from here.
Have to say- love how RK answered Dips- cool, calm, collected with no emotion- the opposite of love is not hate, it is indifference. Good to see that RK is finally getting there.

Rishabh whose heart was like butter is hardened by the cold, vile world...the only way to melt this rock like butter(as in a freezer) is the unrelenting, persistent warmth of love which is selfless and unfathomably deep...add to that a belief which could move mountains...the result is that the impossible becomes possible...He, who seemed so unforgiving could forgive his attacker...From a mother whom he couldn't bear to talk,he could bend and take blessings today...Madhu's love indeed did wonders to RK...the past anger and bitterness is getting washed away by this new found Love and he is allowing himself to feel and accept what is coming his way...He opened the doors to his heart...I liked the patch up scene with Radhaji touching his head all over and RK relieved finally letting go and taking in all that love that he yearned for all these years...I also liked the sequence of RK's patch up ...first,the cv's made him come to terms with the almighty Lord (his fate) ,then he accepted his fathers death and finally forgave his mother...of course drawing his strength all the while from Madhu's unshaken belief in him and her pure Love...
I am wondering if RK was going to eat that cake piece himself if people around didn't ask him to feed bhabhiji...Probably he was used that way...but,now he has not only bhabhiji, but mummiji and sasuma whom he could feed ..lucky RK ...The letter seems to be not from Radhaji going by the reaction of Madhu...she seemed surprised, shocked and tensed too...By the way what is it with Madhu secretly reading that letter...the cv's should at least have shown that she got suspicious when RK hurriedly shoved it in the shelf in the morning...her curiosity could be reasoned to some extent that way... ...RK,Padmini,Shamsher scenes were beautiful...by the way Isn't the person who was asking RK why to wait when everyone is here the same director who was there at their 4 phera wedding...don't remember seeing him later...but,it must be nice for him to see RK happy with his wife and in laws...Nice episode overall...
On Dipali's Importance to the Story Telling

One question that I have in mind is that he is leaving everything and is putting Madhu through this test because Dips sowed the seeds of doubt in his mind?? Why does it matter what Dips thinks? Again the same thing happened today when she mocks at the relationship that Madhu and Padmini share with Malik. He defended their relationship and put Dips in her place by saying that she is uninvited and should not be at his private party which is only meant for his close friends and family and not some unknown commoner like her. Eventhough she left the place he couldn't let go off what she said and hence the precap where he is asking Madhu to think about giving a new meaning to Malik/Padmini relationship by getting them married I presume. It did not come from him directly and once again it was Dips who made him think on those lines. Why-o-Why does he give so much importance to Dips even if he does not want to admit what she thinks means to him? I just don't get it. Why couldn't he just ignore her and not do things to prove her wrong or put her in place?
Priya, nice analysis of the episode as always:)
Regarding on why Dipzy is important... It is we viewers who are giving Dipz importance. RK is not heeding to Dipz words just like that...
Firstly,RK is a man who keenly listens and observes what people have to say to him. If he thinks that they are making sense, he will assess it and then act appropriately and sensibly.. He listens to Dipali and then defends Pads-malik r'ship(the same way he defended Madhu too during test of love time). Kissa over there itself...
Now,RK wants to take Madhu away from all kith and kin to a place where it's just the two of them. But before he takes her away, he wants to shed all their baggage. He wants to see to it that every one is happily settled in their own world so he could whisk Madhu away from everyone(if she comes to know that someone is unhappy/in pain with/in their life, she would not come with him) . Isn't this why he is fixing r'ships and slowly making peace with his mom too?
Pads and Malik have all their lives lived for their children and never thought about themselves even for a moment. Now after their children are settled, now what ? This marriage, i guess, is quite the logical conclusion.
Tomorrow, even if they show that RK is acting on Dipzy's words, I would believe that Dipz has just prodded him to address the issue and he is doing the needful(settling Pads-Malik, they both mean a lot to him, now) coz he thinks its the most sensible/logical thing to do.You yourself have told that he he is a master planner and executor... Even during the test of love time, Dipz just prodded him to address his insecurity and fears, but he went ahead with it, coz he himself was of the opinion that Dipz was right when she said he was cursed when it came to love. They made Dipz the voice of his insecurity when the director should have made him voice it out on his own.(showing Dipali when he was/is retrospecting is director/editor's fault)
This is how I have understood RK and I believe this is how RK is.
Madhu prodded him to address Rads issue, he is not acting on Madhu's words. He listens to her but is doing it coz he wants to do it n not just coz madhu wants him to do it.. When you are ready to believe this in Madhu's case, why not apply the same principle in Dipali's case?
I believe he is not out to prove anyone right/wrong. He is a begaana to the duniya, so why would he care what the world thinks?
Hope this alleviates your fears re. Dipzy...
Further explained by SD
Nice explanation Zoya!
Infact in my episode take today and like Tanu was saying, we have been expecting all along for RK to voice his thoughts about getting Shamsher and Padmini married.
Why the creatives use Dipali as an image is because, just the intelligent RK doing everything by himself will not be palatable to average audience. The would then contrue RK as some egoist who does what he thinks is right by his sheer power. The female viewers and conservative viewers would miss the argument, the logical thinking in this man, the social view of the POINT BEING DEBATED. So they show a negative image like Dipali, who seems to question something in evil way, then RK steps in...as he is antagonist to evil Dipali and he provides his logic (as he is that hurt person by Dips). This makes his argument palatable and not egotistical to all women and conservative men watching the show. Then this guy has to convince a stubborn Madhu as well. Viewers will go through entire catharis of breaking convention, questioning convention when RK argues with Madhu and when Madhu listens to him and then finally agrees to him whole heartedly in going with him in his unconventional manner. This helps those average traditional women understand RK when they see from Madhu's point who is like them. And in the end RK actually gifts Madhu or any of her loved ones a proper closure within convention. But by that time viewers have already agreed with him and they are happily surprised in RK participating in their conventional happiness with sheer delight without any hypocrisy.
So what I am saying is Dipali angle is brought in more for people to absorb RK's radical thought, which in some way Madhu will find it difficult to digest. But slowly it shall work its way.
In all of this, I am happy if socially emaciated viewers like you and me are able to analyse the way you have presented your viewpoint above. I have bolded above.
Only thing is...I wouldn't want creatives to make it too much of Dipali induced memory as they did for RK's test of Love track. As they technically failed to voice it as his thoughts after initial Dipali instigated thought process. A thought should be highlighted as thought and not as XYZ person voicing it.
I was just sharing the same with Ananya and Marathi...The show is about a person who questions conventions. That is a SOCIAL MESSAGE in itself.
RK ridicules everything that is conventional...and that is like viewers like us being heard. He voices our thoughts. And the show has to cater to everyone in India, so they make a Madhu who is dim-wit purposefully. At the end of the day, peeps like are happy seeing RK being unconventional and peeps like TRP giving women are happy seeing conventional Madhu. And at the end of each track, though RK ridicules Madhu for her dim-wit, he ends up listening to Madhu in the name of love...otherwise TRP will not come. That's why we had Karva Chauth two times...that's why we have 4 phera and 7 phera marriage...basically everything becomes debatable.
